A really nice hotel in a good location with lots of things to do for a few days at any time of the year.

We had a wonderful time at the Ahornhotel Templin. The rooms are small, that's true, but our rooms were very clean and we felt very comfortable. Our children had incredible fun in the Tobeparadies and in the swimming pool. The food far exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly tasty and the selection was very large. The surroundings, the lake, forest, garden, simply fantastic. We spoke to employees who were very happy to work there and who were extremely complimentary of their boss. This is noticeable throughout the entire hotel; there is a very pleasant atmosphere. We would love to come back.

Unfortunately disappointing and not worth the price We recently stayed at the Ahornhotel Templin and unfortunately we hoped for much more. The general condition of the hotel does not correspond to the prices quoted here. The building and the furnishings are very outdated, which is particularly noticeable in the rooms and the sanitary facilities. The smell of the toilets in the public area is more reminiscent of a motorway service station, and the carpeting throughout the hotel is not only unsightly, but simply unhygienic. The games room is a nice idea, but unfortunately in very poor condition. Many toys are damaged or have clearly not been cleaned for a long time. It would be desirable if the toys were disinfected regularly - perhaps every two days. Things weren't much better in the creative room either: the pencils are mostly worn or broken, and the sharpener doesn't work. While there is a space for creative play, the selection of coloring pages was disappointing. The buffet was one of the biggest criticisms: €28 per person, even for ages 6 and up. No six-year-old child eats in this price category, that's completely excessive. In addition, the children's buffet is high in sugar, and there were also deficiencies in the breakfast. For example, the toaster was only switched on when asked and there was no information about allergens - a big problem for people with intolerances. The rooms themselves are tiny and can only be used comfortably by very slim people. The bathroom is so narrow and low that it is uncomfortable. In addition, the mold in the bathroom appears to have simply been painted over several times. The carpet in the room – absolutely unhygienic and a real gathering place for bacteria and germs. The outdoor area for children is successful and fun, but we missed stations with drinking water or small snacks for the children. There was no way to get free water until 3:30 p.m. The beer garden has a pleasant atmosphere, but the food was overpriced for the small portions and tasted old. A full portion of Viennese sausage was served on a plate of potato soup, and a piece of cake costs a whopping €3.10. The swimming pool also left a lot to be desired. There are hardly any elements that make the room really exciting for children. Overall we were disappointed. The hotel has potential, but lacks maintenance, modernization and reasonable prices for what it offers. Overpriced parking fees of €10.00 a night are absolutely not possible. Hidden prices.

A great hotel for families. No matter what time of year. Great food, offers for everyone, great excursions possible in the area, beautiful lakes, beautiful swimming pool in the house. Great value for money. Free bus rides in Templin. Thermal baths nearby.

We have been guests very often. This stay still managed to top it again. The entire staff is simply outstanding. The reception implemented all our wishes, the Active Team processed all inquiries and helped us, and the swimming pool staff gave us a warm welcome as always. The cleaning staff was very attentive and asked about requests every day, despite the sign on the door. This time the food far exceeded our expectations. The kitchen left no wish unfulfilled. I also think it's great that the boss and his deputy look after the guests every evening. Our evenings at the bar were wonderful, the staff were very attentive and left nothing to be desired. We left early and will not be returning. I've already stayed in a few family hotels and since I didn't want to travel too far for a few days, I drove here with my daughter. Unfortunately it was disappointing and I have never felt so uncomfortable in a hotel. The rooms are small (although that didn't bother me so much), but the bathroom was so tiny that you could only turn on your own axis. There were no shelves where you could hang your towels within easy reach. When I washed at the sink, I bumped into the shower, etc. I honestly don't know how families with small children are supposed to organize themselves. In addition, the bathroom was simply dingy as it was getting old. The heating was rusty, there were deposits and limescale everywhere… The room was also very old-fashioned and renovation and modernization should be considered. In general, I found the hotel to have a musty smell and everything was less inviting. The dining room is huge and there are crowds of people eating there at the same time. Unfortunately, we didn't really like the food (half board). Only the gentleman at breakfast who made fresh fried eggs made me happy. At dinner you stand in a row at the buffet and move forward step by step... we skipped dinner on the second evening and ordered burgers from a good restaurant in Templin. The hotel itself is designed for families and there are enough options for children. Unfortunately not for teens. + we thought the cinema was great + We also thought the bowling alley (€19.00 / hour) was great + the surroundings are really beautiful, even with Lake Lübbesee on the doorstep. However, I think there will be a fight for the loungers in the summer. We also booked massages. The gentleman was very nice and did his job well. However, the wellness area also needed to be refreshed; real relaxation could not be achieved in the atmosphere. I also think the parking fees of €10 per day are a bit excessive. We skipped one night and left the afternoon before. I just couldn't relax there and we wanted to eat dinner at home.

There are no compromises to be made with this hotel. Everything bomb.

Ideal for parents/grandparents with children/grandchildren up to 12 years old. The animation program is no longer recommended for children aged 12 and over. The spa program can be improved. Massage appointments cannot be booked on site. The bowling alley should have children's balls.

I go to one of the Ahorn Hotels with my 3 grandchildren at least once every year. There is a lot to experience here for the kids!! We all feel comfortable and will come back often.

A great children's hotel. My daughter loves the colorful hotel. Many offers for children. The only criticism is the one-sided food. Nowadays, not only pork but also poultry should be offered. Whether it's early in the morning with the sausage or in the evening at the buffet. One day there was beef for dinner and the other days there was only pork and no vegetarian alternatives as a warm meal. Maybe the Asian employees who work in service should put their cooking skills to the test. The Indian woman from the breakfast service works for 3 and is very hardworking more than the others, which also needs to be emphasized. Otherwise, as always, everything was ok.

At first glance, the Ahorn Hotel Templin has a lot to offer: A large area with numerous activities for the whole family, such as mini golf, climbing garden, cable car, bouncy pillow and a swimming lake with a beach bar. The hiking trails surrounding the hotel are also a plus, and the tourist tax conveniently includes bus tickets for exploring the area. However, the expectations of a children's hotel were not met. Although there are many activities for children, the audience seemed to consist largely of pensioners. The hotel itself is old, and although the facade has been updated, the rooms are showing their age. They are small, noisy and reminiscent of cabins on a ferry. The comfort suffers as a result, and the carpets and fabrics make the hotel not really allergy-friendly. Check-in was only partially online. On site we discovered that only one of the two rooms had been checked in, which made a trip to reception unavoidable. However, the service there was friendly and solution-oriented. Later there were problems with the connecting door between the rooms, which was still locked, but that was also quickly resolved. Another point was the overcrowded indoor pool, which we therefore avoided. Instead, we used the indoor romping paradise, where the children at least had fun. The bowling alley was a highlight - two modern lanes in a separate room, highly recommended. However, the service in the panoramic restaurant was overwhelmed. The children ordered from the children's menu, but the waitress couldn't understand the terms. Appetizers came before drinks, and bread, which should have been served at the beginning, came later. The food was OK, but too expensive for the quality offered. We were particularly disappointed with the children's portions - the schnitzel was perhaps 5 cm in diameter, and our son was visibly disappointed. The evening ended in the bar with a DJ, where we would have liked to stay longer, but the service was difficult to find, so after one drink we decided to leave. Breakfast the next morning had a lot of choice but was in a huge room with tables packed tightly together. Even though the buffet was rich, we didn't really feel comfortable due to the atmosphere. The children's buffet was also poorly organized - parents still grabbed it even though it was cordoned off, which completely defeated the purpose of this regulation. In summary: the children had fun, but everything else came at an additional cost. For us, the price-performance ratio was not convincing, and the suggested quality of the homepage does not reflect reality. For 284 euros per night including breakfast and another 164 euros for dinner, drinks and extras, we expect more. It was an okay stay, but we won't be returning.

We were here with our grandchildren for a short vacation, it was nice because there was enough to play, there was a cinema and plenty of other activities as well as the swimming pool, the water temperature was okay, the hotel is very child-friendly.

We were here many years ago and were very positively surprised by what was made of it. A dream for our child, lots of activities that she can experience here. The staff are very friendly and helpful, whether service staff, reception, cleaners and active team. The room is a reasonable size for two adults with a preschool child, and the walk-in closet is nice. Bathroom is sufficient with a bathtub and large mirror. The food is great, lots of choice, there is something for everyone. The buffet is always refilled very diligently and kept clean. Clearing the tables went very quickly. Very nice area with lots of activities. The exterior facade makes it special.

We stayed at the hotel with our 2 children for a few days. The first impression of a cohesive, lively GDR prefabricated building was quickly shattered. It's lively/lively inside because it's a family/children's hotel and it felt like it was fully booked. It quickly became apparent that an attempt had been made to let the GDR move out, but in some places it was not possible for structural reasons to do something that might appear to be in need of renovation. What really shocked us were the rooms, yes we had 2. We booked a family room. This is in 2 double rooms connected with an internal door. There are also 2 minimalist bathrooms, with everything a bathroom has. However, the shower was so narrow that as a 1.85m person with a body weight of 90kg you would hit the shower wall every time you turned, which meant that the bathroom would flood or you would have to adjust the faucet every time. We were very disappointed with the room and bathroom! Okay, what else is there to discover here? Yes, a lot, especially for children. Several playrooms, bathroom, an outdoor area for children (playgrounds, teepee tents, electric cars, jumping pillows, petting zoo, etc.), several restaurants, fitness room, indoor pool. Everything was extremely well maintained and run with a lot of love. Breakfast and dinner were an open buffet, which we found to be very varied and beautifully presented. The conditions were all super friendly and accommodating. Everyone had a smile on their face (cook, cellar, reception, tablet robot) and responded to the children and us. There is also a nice children's buffet where the children can get what they want themselves. Plus a play area in the restaurant, great. There was no table chaos with us - we had our table from the first to the last meal. Conclusion: Great hotel for families, restaurant and staff friendly and helpful, room and bathroom very, very small. Leisure activities with children are a dream.

We booked the Ahorn Templin with our 2 year old for a long weekend by chance and are absolutely thrilled. The team is super friendly, the facility is well maintained and the buffet is super organized and delicious. There are a total of 3 large playrooms, graded according to age - there is even a whole play hall for older children. Busy children make for relaxed parents. We all came back refreshed and are looking forward to our next stay at Ahorn Templin.

In need of renovation in many ways... Real chaos when fully occupied... Breakfast in peace... impossible... constantly changing places for breakfast... What struck me positively was the Panorama Restaurant with its staff and overview

The hotel has a clear Eastern character. But attempts were made to make the best of the building structure. Entertainment for young and old is well provided. We were there for a weekend by bike. It was important to us that there was a locked bike room and that we could clean the bikes. Supermarket and city center just a few minutes by bike. The “Spur der Steine” cycle path is a good tip! The rooms are ok, the bathroom was very small. But everything was ok and the beds were fine. It was noisy. Breakfast and dinner were good as a buffet! Overall, a great hotel for families and those on a medium budget!

We have just arrived back home and are reflecting on the events of the last 4 days. This is the third time we have been to the Ahornhotel with our two grandchildren and that speaks for itself. The children are so enthusiastic about the many imaginative offerings, the staff are friendly, loving and patient. This hotel offers everything, so the small rooms and the even more small bathroom don't weigh too much. You're only in your private area to sleep anyway. The buffet is incredibly rich and varied and the service staff is always friendly. A special thank you goes to Mr. Weinzimmer, who was extremely courteous, polite and hard-working and seems tailor-made for his professional work. The AHORN Seehotel in Templin is a great hotel with a beautiful view and an excellent environment for children. We had a very pleasant time here. Particularly noteworthy is the great swimming instructor Stefan, both for adults and children. Many guests, including myself, can benefit from his experience. I couldn't swim at the beginning of the stay, but thanks to the swimming instructor I learned and can now only recommend it. A big thank you for your effort :) Saja ☺️🙋🏻‍♀️

The DDR hotel has been modernized, but the facade is terribly painted. The rooms are beautiful, modern. Large rooms, lots of entertainment. For breakfast, there is a buffet, a large selection of dishes and drinks. The territory is large, leading to the lake. Playgrounds for children. The staff is friendly.

The rooms are simple, but OK for overnight stays. Quite noisy and unfortunately there were extremely loud students in the next room who were partying through the night, so you couldn't sleep peacefully. Le Otherwise, the great panoramic restaurant is not really usable because the kitchen was closed at 6 p.m. Otherwise the hotel offers many activities, such as a large swimming pool and its own cinema. Unfortunately, it is difficult to find a good restaurant open after 7 p.m. in the area.

The service was good. The staff very friendly. The room was very small. While we were eating, the children played up to my table. That was very disturbing. The parents didn't care.

We were there four days ago. Rooms without air conditioning, not even a fan. Shower is a joke. The buffet in the morning and evening was very rich and good. Went there with a bus company.

Unfortunately we found the price absolutely not justified. Unfortunately, what you can't see in the pictures is that it's basically a colorfully painted plate ala 'GDR. The average age was around 70 and unfortunately there is an unpleasant musty smell everywhere. We didn't close the window once. The indoor pool also took me back to my nostalgic childhood because its standard design is reminiscent of a time long gone. We also tried out the saunas and nothing felt like relaxation or loving care. We suspect that it is a place for coffee trips and that the older people are probably not the most critical customers. We were horrified and strongly recommend a general overhaul!!!! The dining room hasn't seen a new coat of paint in a long, long time! Artificial flowers covered in dust, dust on the walls and lamps. Food was bad, overcooked and unseasoned and then I had diarrhea. Oh and the air is terrible everywhere! I guess the filter systems haven't seen any maintenance in a long time! All in all, for 200 euros a night I expected more. This is about quantity instead of class!!!!! Cautious!

Thank you for the wonderful week of vacation at the Ahorn Seehotel Templin. We are thrilled by the many “little things” such as the play opportunities for the children, the beautiful surroundings and the many excursion options. The kitchen delighted us with its daily, very tasty food. We especially liked that we had a fixed table the whole time. The service staff does an excellent job and is always nice and friendly. ...it's hard to really rate the house euphorically... There's a lot on offer for the kids... a 0.2 soft drink is also included in the price with each meal, but the children's buffet doesn't offer any alternatives to cocoa . A bottle of water for €5.00 is really hasty...

The three of us came and spent wonderful days. This is exactly how a family-friendly hotel should be! There are activities in good and bad weather (playgrounds, indoor playgrounds, cinema, mini golf, petting park, soccer field, face painting, swimming lake and much more). A special plus point: the international hotel team! Thank you for making us feel so comfortable with you. We'll be back!

We are repeat offenders, it was just great, the weather was perfect and everything else too. We know that the rooms and bathrooms are small and we can deal with that well. The food is GREAT and the staff is super friendly and always close to the guest, it's fun to be a guest. Now something fun: Friedrichroda makes better quark dishes. We'd love to come back.

Absolutely great for families, all kinds of activities are available, bike rental directly in the hotel. A lake including a beach within 3 minutes walking distance, very nice beach, well maintained. There is even a well-equipped fitness room, of course it's not a gym, but it's absolutely sufficient and open 24/7. The parents' own fitness doesn't have to suffer and they rarely have to be able to spend such a "fit" holiday. The food is fine, absolutely OK for the price, so the ratio to the financial outlay for the whole family is definitely right. Only the carpets in the rooms have seen better days, but nothing serious, which is also understandable when one family after another spends the night in the rooms. All in all, absolutely recommendable and, as I said, financially completely reasonable and there is a lot on offer for the money. The service was also very good, friendly and always available, the apprentices were also in top shape and very customer-oriented, which is no longer a given, not even in hotels with more stars. Great and super child-friendly hotel. Located directly on the beautiful Lübbensee. The hotel's beach area is very well maintained and offers large areas of sand and grass, sun loungers and a beach bar with drinks and snacks. The hotel has a wide range of offers for children and adults. Swimming pool, cinema, bike rental, various play and play worlds, fitness studio, massage services, .... . The breakfast and evening buffets are varied so there is something for everyone. For Alla-Card lovers there is also a panoramic restaurant on the top floor.

Beautiful area for young and old

My husband and I are spending our summer vacation here. We were here last year and are just as excited as last year. The staff is very friendly and helpful, every wish is implemented immediately. The buffet is rich and very tasty. I can't eat that much, there is so much choice. The hotel offers a lot of leisure activities for young and old. The lake is the highlight, very clear water, clean lawn and short walking distances to the hotel. We'll definitely be back next summer and are now enjoying the second week of vacation. A really great hotel. Big praise to the team.

Building and rooms: classic prefabricated building, but completely ok for us, but you can well imagine how things used to be here. Room overall completely ok. For my taste, the relatively cramped bathrooms could be a little nicer and better maintained. Shelves crooked and wobbly, silicone partly black and the shower cubicle leaked, so that the bathroom was flooded after every shower. Location and leisure: it's a 5-minute walk to the lake. As has often been described, the lake is really very child-friendly. There are plenty of shaded areas 50 meters from the beach thanks to trees without parasols etc. Water was very clear and the bottom wasn't muddy or anything at all. There are also plenty of other leisure activities, indoor playgrounds, free of charge. Cinema, darts, mini golf, table tennis, indoor pool, bike rental, petting zoo, etc. You can always find something and the day goes by very quickly. Meals: we had half board and were satisfied with the food and drinks on offer. There were different dishes every evening and the extra children's buffet was also positive, as the little ones can even help themselves... In my opinion, the costs for drinks at dinner and at the bar are ok and not excessive Overall impression: no luxury, simple standard with very good leisure activities. Some potential in the rooms, especially the bathrooms, but I don't think an additional 10 euros per night for a parking space is justified. The majority of visitors come by car... The staff should also be praised once again. We will definitely come back again

Great location, right on Lake Lübbe with a beach and lawn. Flat and therefore suitable for children. 👍 Quiet environment and therefore ideal for relaxation. Lots of leisure opportunities for adults and children. We have been there for the third time and are once again impressed by the staff, who are all very friendly and welcoming, the delicious food and the great surroundings.

Children's offers are also very good for parents and grandparents. I can recommend it, we always liked it

Very good hotel for our 3.5 year old son! He's already asking when we're going to "the colorful house" again. I've never experienced this before: in the changing rooms of the indoor pool there is a spinner for spinning wet swimsuits dry. This is so practical. Every swimming pool should have it! However, if another visitor hadn't pointed it out to me, I would have thought the slingshot was a diaper trash can. It would have to be labeled or something. Only the charging station in front of it didn't work for the whole two weeks. Unfortunately, numerous phone calls to the operator had no effect. I think that even if it is an external provider, Ahorn Hotels should get involved and remedy the situation, because they explicitly advertise that they have a charging station on the premises. It wasn't obvious in advance that it wouldn't work, so you have to re-plan something. If there were better and healthier lunch options (in the understaffed beer garden there is almost only fast food and in Tobeland pizza), that would be very helpful so that you don't have to leave the premises.

We were there with our 3 year old grandson. Booked a lake view room (slightly larger). Since dogs are allowed, I find carpets in the room difficult to accept. Mattresses very soft. Unfortunately our room didn't have a good cleaning beforehand. Food was good. Also all the offers in the hotel, outdoor areas. For us, the absolute highlight was the beautiful lake. Our grandson is a water lover, so this was perfect. We will come back because our grandson was so excited.

We stayed for 2 nights with children. Children have many opportunities to play. So ours went to bed at 10 p.m. Swimming pool including non-swimmer area for children, everything was top clean. Food and restaurant prices were reasonable. The evening buffet was very diverse (lots of vegetarian selection too). The hotel was filled with grandmas and grandpas with their grandchildren and had a different style. Restaurant Brandenburg has super nice staff (from different cultures) who are always smiling and helpful. The lake was also easy to reach and is only visited by hotel guests, so it's not full.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The facade alone stands out with its colorful art and conveys a feeling of joy and freedom, as well as fun and games. A really wonderful hotel for the family. The children are well entertained. Whether indoor or outdoor playgrounds, mini golf courses and table football... there is something for everyone to spend and enjoy time together. The rooms are comfortable and very nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet is very rich and offers a variety of food for all tastes. The panoramic restaurant on the twelfth floor is also worth a visit. Apart from freshly prepared food and courteous service, you have a wonderful view over the Uckermark. Overall, I/we are very impressed with the hotel and will definitely come back soon. Best regards N

perfect location, with a specially managed swimming area on the lake. Huge lawn, beach, bar, changing room. Everything perfectly clean and well maintained. there are countless games and leisure activities. Absolutely great for families! The staff is super friendly and considerate! The food is varied and tastes good. Trainees work in many areas of the hotel. If you know this, you can look past delays or small imponderables! What's not right is the size of the Classic Rooms! They are too expensive for that!!

A great hotel for young and old

We were here for the second time with our children and were able to do a lot with them, and we also relaxed a bit.

**** (4 stars) July 2024 Short vacation for swimming. Because the weather forecast was good, we stayed at the hotel for 2 nights to swim. We had a studio with a lake view (forest view was already taken.) With an extra bed, cot and stroller, it was tight for us 2 adults, child and baby. Carpet stained and curtains didn't close completely. Our 6 year old was awake at 6 a.m. I would have had to pay €400 per night with HB and additional costs (parking, drinks, tourist tax, etc.)! I redeemed a bonus night so that I paid a total of €400 for the two nights and not €800. Otherwise I would never have booked it. Basically a nice 3 star hotel with friendly staff, good food and lots of leisure activities, but unfortunately with 4 star hotel prices. Without a bonus night I wouldn't come here again. Unfortunately unreasonably expensive for a family with 2 children. PS: the children's disco was very well done. The idea with the balloons was very well received. ***** (5 stars) January 2023 Fairytale weekend “Frozen”: well organized. Great fire show, baking and crafts well prepared. Theater was appropriate for children. Children's disco a little loud but well animated. Recommended. Very full program, we didn't do everything because of our afternoon nap.

The hotel surprised me positively, price-performance ratio is good in current comparison. The food is very good and of a very good, varied quality. The outdoor area is spacious and clearly laid out, lots of activities for relaxation for children and adults, the lake is a highlight. You can vacation here make.Highly recommended.👍👍👍👍👍⬆️

A wonderful vacation spot where family comes first. A bit remote and yet central. The hotel's own beach tempts you to get refreshingly wet and there are plenty of activities even in bad weather. What’s more, it’s a really great training company.

Great for families, great location, always something to do from morning to evening. The lake is very beautiful and there are hiking opportunities.

I always notice that if you write negative reviews, they will be deleted. Maybe those responsible should see for themselves how disgusting the bathrooms are. Way too small. Dirty and calcified shower heads. Calcified shower doors, so that it was difficult to close them and the water ran out completely and you stood in the water. Musty smell in the room. Outdated inventory. Some unfriendly staff. Every machine for children, billiards, Con Aer, etc., everything has to be paid for separately. The whole body massage was a joke... The guy, I had the feeling he was on the run... Hectic... Finished quickly, bang... On to the next one. That had nothing to do with a massage... For me it was pure stress... No relaxation... For two days I felt like I was being tortured, everything hurt. An absolute no-go for me. The food is mediocre. The buffet when you went out to eat in the evening was completely boring and overpriced, also the food for children, no child eats so much for this price. The absolute disaster for me was that hotel guests' dogs were allowed to simply walk across the lawn or the playground, sit down and do their business. That was so disgusting. We were in Templin for 13 days and paid a lot of money for a family room... for me it was absolutely a waste of money. We had taken up the mattresses.... The find.... used tissues, baby pacifiers..... chips..... Can it get any more disgusting? The good thing here was the location, the lake and the outdoor space for the children. If you don't take cleanliness and taciturn staff so seriously, this is the place for you. In all three hotels in this group that we have stayed in, this was the worst.... But.... The co-director and the friendly gentleman who assigned the tables at breakfast deserve praise... Courteous, polite and very nice!

Beautiful location with many leisure activities.

Service makes an effort but unfortunately doesn't seem particularly qualified. The food was ok, but not appropriate for the price. Thanks to the lake access and the facility itself, the location is beautiful. Despite my bad previous experiences, I wanted to give the hotel another chance and I regret this decision.

Me and my daughter have been coming here every year for 3 years. The staff is really great, they try to fulfill every wish. Even in emergency situations they are available. I had to go to hospital at 3/4 a.m. on Sunday morning and the night staff took care of my sleeping daughter In my opinion, this is not a given. Every single employee does their best. The waiters and kitchen staff try hard to accommodate the rush.

Been there several times. Both our Jenny as a family vacation and our Jessy with her partner as a wellness vacation. Relaxation and adventure for young and old. Were also there for the Diskofox party with Alex Engel. Employees are always friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice. Lake great ambience and clean. Happy to come back!!

We had a great stay at the Ahorn Seehotel Templin. It is a paradise for children. The food was great. The waffle station and the Yoki children's buffet were particularly great. A thank you also to the Activ team and the masseur.

Our stay was very nice, we have now been to all the Ahorn hotels and we have to say, it is the best organized hotel of all, you are welcomed at dinner, everyone is very friendly, no mass processing like e.g. in Altenberg, Oberhof or Friedrichroda. The offerings for children are overwhelming, as is the facility. However, the size of the bathroom is a disaster and the indoor pool and showers need renovation. The lifeguard could also be replaced, but these are small things.

We were really very satisfied, the room was absolutely clean, even the stopper in the sink. The Lübbesee directly at the hotel (7 min. walk). Many activities possible. The food was ok. and diverse (half board).

We always enjoy staying in one of the Ahorn hotels. Family friendly staff. Only in the beer garden you are a bit overwhelmed. But despite being completely booked out, the hotel is not overcrowded. Many opportunities to get into nature. Swimming pool in the hotel opens from 7 a.m. and towel service is included in the price. We recommend. We are serial offenders and will be back!

A great hotel for the whole family!! Children can experience a lot and adults can relax too!! The aging indoor pool and the long waiting times at the relatively old elevators are in need of improvement, but the hotel offers everything a family could desire, from the friendliness of the staff to a great buffet.

We were with you for 9 days and completely satisfied. Very nice staff, a great hotel and great facility. You could change the food every two weeks as it was the same, otherwise nothing to complain about

We were there on the weekend, it was very nice, the room was great because we had the panoramic room, the food was ok 👌 the staff is really very friendly and you can really do a lot, we'll be back.

The employees are all very friendly and service-oriented. Very well-maintained hotel, beautiful outdoor areas with direct access to the lake. Unfortunately, the rooms don't have air conditioning and the dinner isn't great. But there is a lot on offer for your stay. Big and small get their money's worth here.

A good three-star hotel, good service, very friendly staff, bathroom a bit small

The prices are steep but otherwise there is nothing to complain about at all. The breakfast and dinner are perfect, especially for vegetarians. Here you can have an absolutely worry-free holiday. I also like the feeling of the former FDGB hotels. Childhood memories come back. A big compliment to all the employees! The location is great, pets are very welcome and there is no problem anywhere.

Ideal for entertaining children. Huge outdoor area with all kinds of play equipment. Also ideal for any family celebrations. If the weather is bad, there are plenty of opportunities to play in the hotel. Great swimming lake. The hotel rooms are quite small but there are worse things.
