I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff at the reception were extremely polite and helpful, which made a great first impression. The breakfast was generous with a wide variety of food options to choose from. My room was comfortable and offered beautiful views, which I really enjoyed. However, the bathroom was very small — the shower cabin doors were difficult to close due to the limited space. One thing I also found inconvenient was that if you want a kettle in your room, you have to pay an additional 5€, which I feel should be included. Also there are too many children. So sometimes is super noisy.

As in all Ahorn Hotels, great offers for the whole family. Here in Templin the large outdoor area and access to the lake are particularly great.

We were here for 10 days in May 2025. The rooms are fine. The cleanliness in detail is not the best. You can accept it. The offers in the garden of the hotel outside the “games room” and offers from the active team are all subject to a charge. The half board food is good and the selection is okay. NOTE: take a lot of mosquito repellent with you - there is a mosquito plague of biblical proportions here. We stood in a “swarm” outside. Seems normal because of the location on the lake. The beach was completely covered in waterfowl. Lots of nature is included ^^ NOTE: There is only one place to do laundry in Neuruppin within a 1-hour drive. The hotel offers to wash individual items of laundry - the price is unattractive.

Rooms are completely OK, but the bathroom is already getting old. Mold in the shower pipes and rusty heater. Dresser scratched. The food continues to be great. Staff friendly and accommodating.

Nice and quiet hotel close to the lake.

We were there for the first time, we 2 adults and 1 child (8 years old) with my girlfriend and son, also 8 years old... Super nice facility, lots to play, run around and climb... Mini golf was also great... we were there for 2 nights... always before breakfast, we all went swimming, and at that time (8-9 a.m.), there were few people... Bowling alley, cinema, billiards and much more. Our kids also found Tobe-Paradies really nice... Before we left, we went there until 1 p.m. and the kids let off steam... Our daughter was so crazy that she fell asleep in the car... Cocktails were very tasty and the price was also perfectly fine... Unfortunately, the Witch's Fire was canceled at short notice due to high levels of forest fire...The hotel is located in the forest... But one more thing...please bring plenty of mosquito spray...The little animals are very aggressive 🤣🤣 Conclusion...we'll be back

Clean rooms, very nice staff, food more than sufficient and tasted great. Children were well provided with games. Despite many age groups, it was very relaxed and relaxing for us. It is always worth a trip and recommended.

Very nice here... especially with children

This was our second time here and I can highly recommend it. A paradise for children and not boring for adults either. The food was very tasty! And the extra buffet for children is great. The children can Operate independently. The children's pool is unfortunately too small for the needs. I counted 40 people in there at one point. The room was quite narrow, but we were only in it to sleep, so it was manageable. The proximity to the lake is perfect, the playground is clean, large and well maintained. We'd love to come back🙂🌻

The service at the reception was friendly. We had half board. There's a lot on offer and everything is very tasty. The service in the Uckermark restaurant was very friendly and attentive. The service in the bar area was also very friendly and attentive. We also had a lot of fun in the large swimming area. The outdoor area offers a lot for small to medium-sized kids. For the older ones there is a soccer field and some, among other things, table tennis tables and table tennis tables and so on. If you're bored here, you can't help it. We were here for the first time, but a thousand percent not the last. Thank you for everything!

If the children are active, the hotel is a right decision with lots of activities for children

We have been here three times and each time I am positively surprised at how much has changed in a year. The activity team is very nice and there are many great offers. The only thing is that you don't know how much it costs. It would be nice to create a price list and store it in the app. We'll be back next year. The food is delicious and there was something different to eat every evening, including vegetarian dishes to choose from.

Great week at the AHORN Hotel Templin! We had a wonderful week at the AHORN Hotel Templin and were completely satisfied. I would particularly like to highlight the varied children's program - there is really a lot on offer! The various playgrounds and the Tobe paradise are a real highlight that you can even use together with the children. You definitely won't get bored here. The food was also excellent. There was a large selection every day, so there was something for every taste. What I found particularly attentive was that an extra meal was even served at the neighboring table after consultation with the kitchen - great service! Our room was perfectly fine – clean and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit small, but that didn't bother us as we spent most of our time outside the room anyway. ;) All in all a very good hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Thank you for the great time – we’d love to come back!

Very nice family hotel. Ideal with children. There is a lot of leisure activities on offer. Every day a different program for our little ones. Swimming pool and home cinema, Tobe-Land, the hotel's own beach as well as indoor and outdoor playgrounds etc. These are just a few of the great things that are on offer here. The staff is super friendly and no question is too much. The food buffet is super tasty and very rich, there is something for everyone. If you spend a long time here, it's your own fault. I give it 10 stars.

We had a really lovely time at the Ahorn Seehotel Templin. It is a paradise for children, but adults will also get their money's worth. We particularly liked the location on the lake, the large swimming pool with a pleasant water temperature, the friendliness of the staff, the spacious panoramic room, the beer garden and the very good and varied buffet for breakfast and dinner. There is really a lot on offer for children. Our little one was particularly enthusiastic about feeding the goats (at certain times), the bouncy pillow, the fun paradise, the mini disco (also on certain days), the electric car track and the mascot Yoki. The bike rental service directly in the hotel is practical and you can quickly get to the pretty, small town of Templin by bike. The beach by the lake is really very beautiful. The beach bar understandably only opens in the summer months. We only have two small suggestions for improvement: It would have been even nicer in the restaurant if the blinds had been open. It would also be great if at least water was included in the dinner buffet. Otherwise we were really very satisfied and thank you for the great time! 😊

The ideal place for family weekends. The staff is very friendly. There are a lot of leisure activities and it doesn't take long.

Since 2011 we have been coming here as office colleagues for the weekend. We took a break during Corona and came twice with our family. Every year something was remodeled or improved, if you need more space (especially in the bathroom) you should book a large room. Even without children you can spend a few nice days here, be it swimming, bowling, cinema, mini golf, walking, etc. The food was a bit weak at times, but the last two times there was nothing to complain about. Due to the proximity to Berlin, the pretty town of Templin and the many possibilities, we will continue to come here, the combination is hard to beat!

Great hotel, ideal for large bus groups. Everything is there that is needed

We have been traveling to the Ahorn hotels for years, this time without ours but as we are used to, they are child-friendly and family-friendly

We haven't been here for at least two years, and this weekend we wanted to see what's new! We've enjoyed coming to this hotel since 2014. A lot has changed, for the better, of course. The hotel is always working on improvements and new ideas! The food has improved a lot. There are so many ways to spend your free time! One weekend isn't enough. Mini golf, swimming pool, billiards, darts, sauna, giant chess, cinema, bowling alley, fitness room, library, beach, bike rental, and so on! The cleanliness and friendliness of the entire area deserve special mention. We'll be back and thank you very much for the wonderful time we had with you.

It's just great here, my husband went swimming with the grandchildren every morning and the cinema was great. All four of us were really relaxed. If you're here for a few days, there's a lot on offer for the children

Now a really nice hotel for families and lots of child-friendly activities. Room service came in at 8 a.m. which wasn't so nice. It was our first night and according to the hotel, the rooms are only cleaned every two days. Otherwise just recommended

The outside facade hides a paradise from the buffet to the room, everything was perfect, the only small problem was that a bed was missing when we arrived in the evening, but this problem would be fixed immediately. The cinema, swimming pool, buffet and everything else was perfect. I tend to give it 6-7 stars. LG

Very nice hotel and super friendly staff. Showering was a bit difficult because the temperature kept changing. Overall, we really liked it and would come back again and again. Beautiful surroundings and there is a lot to do with children.

The rooms are quite small. The amenities are okay. Large TV (rather too large for the size of the room), double bed (it's just two single beds pushed together), tiny bathroom (when you're on the toilet, you're already halfway in the shower), the extra bed only fit because the "double bed" was moved and the bedside table was tilted. However, I have to say, the rooms are really clean. Check-in and check-out took quite a long time. Apparently due to rush hour. It wasn't the staff's fault. The hotel has an incredibly great playground! It was really great! The food was so-so. Not everything tasted good, and otherwise it was very pork-heavy. The portions in the restaurant were really small.

The price at this hotel is unjustified. We were unfortunately very disappointed. We had requested a quiet room since we were traveling with a baby. We were given a room on the third floor... the room is so noisy that my son woke up frequently during the night. We also requested a baby bed and indicated this when booking... we had already requested it five times, the man on the phone said he would be there in about 10 minutes, and we received the bed a day later. The family room and the bathroom are so tiny, and the mold in the bathroom has been painted over several times. We are simply disappointed.

A great hotel for children with family

There's so much to discover for children under 12. There wasn't a single minute of boredom. It's a shame the vacation was over far too quickly.

The hotel is a bit old, which you can see especially in the rooms. Nevertheless, the rooms were clean and well maintained. The food was good for the mass of people. We always found something we liked. The offer for children and the whole family is amazing. We have never had this before in a family hotel. All in all, a nice vacation for a family if you can overlook the small weaknesses.

The hotel is in a very good and quiet location, with very, very friendly staff. The bathroom is a bit small, but that's complaining at the highest level. But the breakfast is really good with a wide selection.

We ate at the restaurant again. As always, the food was excellent and the service was superb. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

I felt very comfortable here. There was a really friendly welcome. We even each got a rose for Women's Day. The rooms exuded a homely atmosphere. When it came to eating, nothing was left to be desired. The selection was great and everything tasted good. The red cabbage rolls in particular were premium. I never get bored in the house either, I was busy around the clock. The lake is also just a stone's throw away. You couldn't ask for better. I would particularly like to highlight the friendly lady at Tobeparadies. Thanks for the nice chat! Those in charge of the dining room were equally hospitable. Unfortunately, the same cannot be fully said about the active team, which rather rudely sent me out of the room. But everyone has a bad day sometimes. At the end we had a nice beer in the beer garden with a view of the lake. I'd love to come back!

We were incredibly positively surprised. Anyone who doesn't let the facade, which in our opinion takes a lot of getting used to, deter you will be rewarded with super motivated and friendly staff, smoothly functioning processes and great facilities for parents and children. The rooms are nice and spacious. The food is consistently delicious, fresh and with a children's corner to play in and its own buffet, it's a moment to breathe deeply. Thank you very much, we enjoyed it very much and will definitely come back. It's certainly wonderful at the lake in summer.

In the summer you might still recognize the occasional GDR standard. Very suitable for families with children, uncomplicated. Many employment opportunities are offered there. Were only day guests.

A thoroughly good family hotel! The food is fantastic; there was really nothing to complain about. We booked a studio for 2 children and 2 adults. It was well-equipped and had plenty of space. Compared to the family room, there was only one room for everyone, but it was less cramped. Very minor comments: 1. Our children, as well as our friends' children, all responded to the water in the pool. This could certainly be livened up a bit. There's actually room for a small slide or something similar. 2. The children's buffet always had a large selection of sliced ​​fruit. We would have liked this for the adults too. (Although the children were always thinking kindly of their parents 😉) All in all, a fantastic vacation and an absolute recommendation from us! It deserves a 5-star overall rating from us!

My family and I just love this hotel. It's always clean, the staff is super friendly (My two favorite employees, Conny and Kathi, are great, always have a smile on their faces and are so warm to the children, it makes your heart open. But all the other employees are great too. If we do have something on our minds, we can always talk to the boss speak personally and are always heard and it is done immediately. I can't say anything other than try this place. A dream for children and also very nice for adults. We keep coming back. My daughter wanted to celebrate her 6th birthday in Templin without her friends. What that means is that she would rather go to your hotel than have a party at home. Of course we fulfilled her wish straight away and she had so much fun with you. Keep it up, we'll definitely see each other again soon.

I expected an outdated facility, but what I didn’t expect was the careless attitude of the staff. Although the spaces are clean, when it comes to hospitality this place truly falls short.

Really great for kids! Large Tobeland, nice swimming pool, super friendly staff! You could offer fewer sweets when eating in the evening. The room walls are just panel construction paper walls but you only stay there to sleep.

We stayed here for a weekend and really enjoyed the time. The children (3 & 5) were never bored, there was always something to see. The swimming pool is very functional but completely sufficient and pleasantly warm, the indoor playground is about 250m from the hotel. The buffet in the morning and evening was delicious and varied and the children were able to use the children's buffet independently. What we liked best was the incredibly spacious and clean room; the four of us had a lot of space and even a bathtub.

As a single mother of two children, I was quite disappointed. We had booked four nights with breakfast. However, "ONLY" breakfast... as the staff repeatedly emphasized... was quite inadequate! Just as the friendliness left a lot to be desired. We were not greeted at reception or at "ONLY" breakfast. Our table was only set for two people, even though there were three of us. The room was incredibly small... the shower was a real problem... claustrophobia was a real threat, and the water leaked out of the supposedly locked doors. The toilet paper was out of reach of my son. The play area was the best thing about this place, as was the thermal baths in the immediate vicinity. Even the staff there were more than friendly. For many activities in this hotel, you need a lot of change to play with your children... which I find very unfortunate... since you already pay a certain price... but... if you book "ONLY" breakfast... you have to be prepared for it.

Family friendly and dog friendly. The children are really entertained there. There are many offers. For us the pool is the highlight. But you shouldn't expect any special features in the room or in the restaurant. Compared to other hotels, I also find the parking fees and sauna surcharge to be cheeky. The panoramic restaurant was also disappointing. The dining room was very cool. When we ordered a second menu for our son, after more than 30 minutes we told the young waiter that we now wanted the bill. The waiter tried very hard, but he alone can't save the restaurant if the kitchen and the other 2 waitresses are asleep. There were only 6 tables occupied... Sauna, we really had doubts about that. A total of 30 lockers and only ten loungers. There is no control over who is a paying guest. So we found out that a hotel guest was paying and bringing his extended family with him. In addition, the room layout is completely wrong. There is no peace in the passageways. Waterfall showers too loud. No scales and in general I expected more for a financial premium. The entire area is a joke

The child-friendly hotel in Templin is worth a trip, the diversity of this hotel chain is top... You can do a lot with the kids, whether the weather is good or bad - from mini golf to cinema and indoor pool, just great... The hotel staff are very nice and super friendly in every situation (even despite enormous stress)... The massage in the hotel was unique. I would like to thank you again for how well the masseur responded to my kids and picked us up from everyday life 😇 I was very at peace... The hotel is a matter of taste. It wasn't my taste. The location is very remote. Pure nature and nothing else.

So service is really top. 1 with an asterisk 😊 BUT the food is not good at all. We have already been to a few Ahorn Hotels and unfortunately this hotel is the worst of the whole Ahorn chain. We were very disappointed and on the last day there was no fresh sausage (not possible) and I have never experienced so little choice, especially at the evening buffet. For a lot of money and vegetarian dishes there were e.g. neither, except salad and cheese with bread. Very sad. And then the shower. Totally dirty, rusty and everything is falling off (rubber lip on the door), unfortunately I'm very disappointed with this hotel. The only positive thing is that everyone is very friendly and accommodating and tries to help. So service is super top. The rest is a flop.

Always nice and great service. However, there should be no activities outside of the holidays that require the kids to be able to read and write; the probability is very low that a child will be able to do this. Other stools would be better in the toilet opposite the cinema, as the smaller kids have a hard time getting to the water and if the DJ plays more variety than just hits, the world is perfect :-)

The visit to this Ahorn Hotel was very nice and relaxing! There are almost unlimited options for children inside and outside! Parents can also take a little time out in the sauna area or while swimming! The rooms are very clean and tidy. The bathroom is a bit narrow, but there is still enough space for everything! The breakfast is good, but there could be some variety, we were there for 5 days and it was the same offer almost every day! But the quality is very good! The children's corner with the food is nice! The buffet dinner was definitely very appealing and delicious! The staff is always friendly and attentive and also patient! Because it can get a bit louder in the restaurant due to the many children! Overall, the price/performance ratio is right here. We'll be back in the summer to be able to enjoy the outdoor area including the lake even more! 8€ parking fee for the car per day is acceptable, but up to 20€ is sometimes charged elsewhere!

A good thermal bath in the immediate vicinity. The infusions in the sauna were excellent. The old town of Templin is worth seeing. Particularly worth mentioning is the well-preserved city wall. We had booked a weekend for 13 people for our golden wedding anniversary. That was one of our best decisions. The house offers an absolute all-round service for families, both the very old and the very young. In our case, special measures were taken in terms of service for the special occasion. Just like that, without any request from us. We were all very satisfied and very impressed by the courteous and super-friendly staff. The 5 rooms booked were also great. We booked a weekend online for 11 adults and 3 children to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. When questions arose in this regard, we received very friendly and comprehensive answers on the phone. Check-in was also quick and friendly. To our surprise, our table was festively decorated, there were even two bottles of champagne in a cooler on the table. Without request from us. We were told that this was a special service for special occasions. We were all amazed. It got even better: every morning the table was newly set, with white tablecloths and beautifully folded cloth napkins. That was awesome. This is really effective advertising. We were totally thrilled. The service staff is friendly, competent and fast. The leisure activities on offer are very diverse. There really is something for everyone. Simply brilliant. We had a really nice weekend. Thank you.

Although it is a very large hotel and you can still clearly see the GDR past, the service is excellent and there is nothing to complain about. The leisure and entertainment options are extensive. In summer even more is possible, as there is a huge outdoor area with mini golf, beach bar, bathing beach, ball games, and much more. is present. We didn't use the sauna. The large swimming pool is very nice. Some rooms are said to be very small. But we had a nice, large and well-equipped room with a lake view.

Not recommended over the holidays! We stayed at the Ahorn Hotel for 4 nights over New Year's Eve 24/25. Unfortunately, it resembled a meeting of pensioners who had taken their coffee trip to a children's hotel. There were 40 children and almost €2000 adults or pensioners. Unfortunately, not all pensioners were child-friendly either. At the buffet it was a real fight and the little ones were somewhere in between. Due to the high number of adults, there were bingo evenings and pop parties. The New Year's Eve buffet didn't open until 7:20 p.m. which is not child-friendly. The shower cubicle is very small, but the rooms are clean so far. But the kids had fun so far. Maybe it would be easy to visit at a different time of year, but we would have preferred to save the money!

Very great family hotel. Highly recommended for a short trip with kids. Lots of activities, great rooms. The food was also very good. Only the baby bed and the trash can in the bathroom weren't ideal.

There were three of us there as a family and we were expecting mostly families, but at times we felt like we were at a bingo evening in a retirement home (the bingo evening actually existed). I have nothing against pensioners or prefabricated buildings. Ultimately, we obviously had completely wrong expectations. Due to the good reviews and the price level (500 euros per night on average for 3 people including New Year's Eve package), you could definitely expect "something". From the outside, the prefabricated building is a real work of art, no question about it. The design of the interior areas leaves a lot of room for improvement. In many places it looks like a West German conference hotel from the 90s: functional, careless, worn out. The many leisure options such as cinema, table tennis, table football and indoor playgrounds are positive. However, there is no real children's club with supervision, for example to give parents an hour of "leisure time". But the biggest disaster is the food (quality and selection). Unfortunately the quality of the food is below canteen level. Maybe the processes are efficient and optimized, but it just doesn't taste good!!! And that definitely has to do with sauce powder and pre-made products, which are mainly processed here. Even with a large number of guests, it is still possible to cook tastefully. But that would probably require a paradigm shift in kitchen operations. Of course people will disagree with my answer, but we have really seen a lot. For example, there are 5 types of cheese - you see them every morning and every evening, there are zero variations. A pressed meat mass is made into “fire skewers” ​​on the first evening and then into “Königsberger Klopsen” on the second evening. If quality and taste aren't that important when it comes to food, you'll definitely find something to suit you. When an older gentleman got an ice cream from the ice chest at the buffet, he was told by the staff that the ice cream was only for the children. This was also unfortunate in that the hotel was filled with approximately 80% pensioners during the 5 days we were there. Even on New Year's Eve, the buffet, which was highly praised by the director in advance, was average at best. The swimming pool has a large pool, functional, but the design (tiles, seating and loungers, walls, etc.) is neither beautiful nor of high quality. Overall, the facility appears to be very worn out. Why there are only 5 loungers in over 400 rooms remains a mystery. Well, it's a swimming pool, not a sunbathing pool. :-). I can imagine that in summer with the beach and water you can overlook a lot of things. But the buffet remains the absolute weak point. Unfortunately, you can't go to the panoramic restaurant for dinner for a fee - after 6 p.m. there was no hot food there. The staff is definitely very friendly and always tries hard. Overall it didn't work out for us, but with 190,000 guests in 2024, many were certainly satisfied.

It's very nice here, there are lots of opportunities to do something for both children and adults. The food is varied and tasty. The only thing that wasn't good was that the employees were biased during the children's activities and didn't treat everyone equally. Still worth a holiday, recommended.

The hotel is very old, in the winter months the hotel is more like a hostel for seniors, it is far from a family-friendly hotel, there is a “wii lounge” but not a “wii” but a switch and even that the controllers are defective and gaming equipment cannot be borrowed. Furthermore, there is something broken in every corner, from the loose wallpaper to the plaster that is crumbling everywhere to the many broken lamps in the dining rooms. The play equipment (air hockey) works sporadically and the pucks don't fit either. Contrary to my impression, I am very disappointed with the summer and will refrain from further visits.

Nice hotel for families. Child friendly and lots of activities for children. Staff always very friendly. Rooms are good. Could be a touch more modern.
