5/5 stars – An all-round successful evening at Portofino The Portofino restaurant impressed us across the board. We were warmly greeted as soon as we arrived - the service was consistently attentive, friendly and very professional without seeming intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious, freshly prepared and in just the right portion - neither too little nor overloaded. Particularly positive: the price-performance ratio is simply right here. You get high quality dishes at a fair price. We also really liked the ambience: stylish, cozy and with a Mediterranean flair, which perfectly reflects the name “Portofino”. Ideal for a relaxed dinner for two or with friends. We will definitely come back – a real recommendation!

We had dinner with friends at Portofino. The dishes were fresh and tasty and the portions were an optimal size. There was also a cocktail that also tasted very good. The waiter was very nice and attentive.

Unfortunately not a typical Italian pizza. The dough was not good, the topping was tasteless. And that for the price. Not recommended. Too bad

My friend and I went to your place for a classic Italian meal and what can I say... It tasted very good and everything was as me and my friend imagined. Especially the bruschetta and the pasta with wild salmon were very tasty and especially the dessert, the panna cotta, which I know tasted very good! It's very tasty and you can go there for €60 for both.

If you want good Italian food, this is the place to go. Be sure to allow some time. The staff isn't the fastest. Make sure you book in advance.

A touch of Italy in Gohlis – absolute recommendation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ For me, Portofino is one of the best Italian restaurants in all of Leipzig! As soon as you enter you are warmly welcomed - the service is attentive, friendly and really familiar. 🍝 The food? Simply fantastic! Everything tastes fresh and is prepared with a lot of love. The pasta is homemade, the pizza is crispy and richly topped, and the antipasti is wonderfully aromatic. You immediately notice that authentic cooking is being done here - not mass-produced goods, but real craftsmanship! 🍷 The atmosphere is cozy and stylish - just right for a relaxed dinner for two or with friends. 💶 The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality that comes to the table here. Conclusion: If you love Italian food, you will love Portofino. I’ll definitely be back – and I’ll bring friends with me next time!

A small but very fine restaurant with a great atmosphere. Great, friendly service, and a reasonable wait for the food. We had arugula salad for starters and a tortellino portofino for the main course. Both are highly recommended; absolutely delicious and beautifully decorated. Reservations are advisable in the evening, as the restaurant isn't large. It was a successful evening, highly recommended!

Unfreundliche, gelangweilte Bedienung. Bestellt wurden 2 Pizzen, eine davon kam falsch (Margherita statt Diavolina). Nach der Reklamation wurde einfach die bestehende falsche Margherita mit Salami und Rucola belegt und so getan, als ob diese frisch aus dem Ofen kam. Geschmacklich waren die Pizzen gut. Aber Ambiente, mäßige Bedienung und Essen rechtfertigen nicht den hohen Preis. Wir haben von 18 Uhr bis 22:30 Uhr gesessen und hätten sicherlich mehr konsumiert, wenn eine Bedienung uns nach dem Abräumen mal aufgesucht hätte. Es gab weder die Nachfrage nach weiteren Getränken noch einem Dessert. Wir mussten nach der Bedienung fuchteln, damit wir nicht nicht weiter auf dem Trockenen saßen. Wir haben uns nun zum wiederholtem Male nicht wohl gefühlt und werden das Restaurant nicht mehr aufsuchen. Dem Portofino fehlt definitiv die Konkurrenz im Umfeld, dann würde sich vielleicht mehr bewegen in Richtung Service.

We were there on Sunday last week and we really enjoyed it. We ordered a total of a portion of bruschetta, 2 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes as well as tartufo for dessert. Overall, everything was very tasty, appropriately sized and well seasoned. What particularly surprised us was the tartufo we ordered, which was decorated for our birthday child. There was also a free espresso for everyone. The bottom line is that Ristorante Portofino is absolutely recommended!

Good evening, I go there with my whole family, the food is excellent, the staff is nice, I just don't see them there with live music, they played there beautifully??

Very tasty, a nice decor and nice staff

We were here as a group and sat in a small separate area. That gave us a lot of peace. The food here was great. Just like you imagine Italian food to be. There was also a large selection of drinks. We'd love to come back. I can only recommend it.

All in all, great quality of the food, very good preparation, nice service, which could be a little more attentive (hence a star deduction).

I invited my family over for dinner yesterday and what can I say...the food was super tasty and the decorations on the plates were also great to look at and the service was quick, friendly and accommodating...all in all a very nice evening...thank you and in any case again…

Good food and good service. The table lamps have a somewhat unpleasant pink light which is a bit annoying and seems inappropriate. But otherwise everything is good.

Das Essen war gut. Nicht gefallen hat uns jedoch, dass die Blumenkästen so einen ungepflegt Eindruck machen. Da ist seit Monaten alles vor sich hingegammelt. Das Öffnungszeitenzettelchen an der Tür ist sehr unprofessionell. Das kann doch kein Problem sein das auszudrucken und zu laminieren.. Jedenfalls sähe das besser aus. Nur mal so als Tip..

We picked up food here twice and each time it was very tasty and freshly prepared. Prices okay. We haven't eaten there yet. It's a shame that there is only one outdoor seat right on the street.

Great restaurant. Nice ambience, beautiful stucco work in the rooms, you can feel comfortable here. Everyone really enjoyed the food, we had a tuna steak with spaghetti aglio e oglio, a pizza salami, a pizza scampi with rocket and cherry tomatoes and gnocchi with spinach and gorgonzola in cream sauce, for the very small penne in butter sauce. Everything prepared first class. Staff super super friendly. I can't even think of a tiny criticism.

I've rarely been so taken for a ride! I ordered pork medallions with Gorgonzola sauce and pasta, as well as pizza Tonno e Cipolle. The pizza looked good and was okay in terms of craftsmanship, but only lukewarm. It can happen - but it shouldn't. But the kicker: instead of pork medallions, we were served pork schnitzel (perhaps from Aldi?) with a watery sauce. When we complained, we were told: "We always serve like this!" But he makes new things. What do we get? Pork steaks grilled and dry. Reason: "We have no other meat." Then I can't offer that on the menu! NEVER!! Again!

A nice atmosphere, the food was very nicely prepared and was super tasty! The homemade lemonade was also a highlight! We were completely satisfied and will be back soon :)

Delicious pizza, friendly service, really recommended!

I've been to many restaurants and I have to say, the quality is often no longer in relation to the price. However, there are exceptions and one is the Portofino restaurant. The restaurant is beautifully furnished, but due to a construction site it is currently only possible to get a seat inside, as the outside seating had to be dismantled due to the construction work. The condition is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was on point, plentiful and very delicious. Priced completely reasonable. I can only recommend everyone to plan a short visit here. In the cold seasons you should call in advance and reserve a place, currently this is also possible without it. Card payment is possible. Parking is currently a bit tricky due to the construction site.

Our absolute favorite Italian. Extremely friendly service, the food tastes fantastic and arrives super quickly. The Limoncello Spritz is the best in the world and the pizzas with various Italian hams are amazing!

We've eaten at many Italian restaurants, but this one beats everything so far. Beautiful ambience, super friendly service and breathtakingly good food. My husband had the Pizza Sexy and loved it. I had the Gnocchi Gorgonzola and it was to die for. We'll definitely be back.

We were actually on our way to another Italian restaurant. We stopped here spontaneously and haven't regretted it since entering the restaurant. The welcome was warm, the food was outstanding. We had pizza and gnocchi. Both excellent. Clear 10 out of 10.

We went to this restaurant for the first time today with our friends. Staff very friendly. Food was super delicious. All in all, highly recommended and we will definitely come back. If you ask us about an Italian restaurant, we will definitely recommend this one. :-)

Food was okay, where we had a variety of dishes as a group. What didn't work at all was the service. We were alone at lunchtime and waited at least 20 minutes for the drinks to be ordered (!). Also generally inattentive and prone to errors. I hope service is better at other times.

Very nice ambience, quiet and cozy, Italian music too... Invites you to slow down and feast... Prices are reasonable and the food is great and we'll be back.... Only this musician who had to go through there really annoyed me Sack, but it only felt like 5 minutes until it was through.... So I can only recommend the place. The service is also good...

I read reviews beforehand about slow and unfriendly service and average food. This is absolute nonsense in my opinion... It was my first time here including the whole family. The service was excellent, the friendliness as you would expect and the food impressed me. I'm not really a fan of Italian cuisine, but the homemade tagliatelle with strips of duck breast and wild mushroom sauce was divine. The food from the rest of the family was also excellent. Finally pasta with salmon where you don't have to look for the salmon... The pizzas were well topped and super freshly prepared. I would particularly like to emphasize the friendliness of the staff. Even though it was our first time there, we felt like we were regulars. Highly recommended, always happy. Kudos to Portofino👍

I have ordered from Lieferando here several times. The pizza was always very tasty. We had now reserved a table for Valentine's Day and were looking forward to the pizza. Unfortunately there was only one special card. But the staff was super super friendly & still fulfilled our wish for our favorite pizza. A star on top for that. Next time it would be good to know in advance that there won't be the normal menu.

Wir hatten für 6 Personen bestellt und bekamen einen schönen Tisch in diesem kleinen gemütlichen Restaurant. Wir bestellten alle verschiedene Speisen wie etwa zum Anfang Bruscetta, dann verschiedene Pastavariationen und Fisch. Alles wurde von dem freundlichen Kellner schnell und zuvorkommend serviert. Allen hat es sehr gut geschmeckt, ist uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Ich hätte gerne noch mehr getrunken, wenn der Kellner öfter am Tisch gewesen wäre. Ansonsten sehr freundlich. Preise waren ok. Vorspeiseteller für 13,90€ war lächerlich. Das könnt ihr bestimmt besser, aber so wenig und einfach anzubieten ist eine Frechheit….
