Eigentlich gut, aber einige Sachen total überteuert und minderwertig. Caprese für fast 13€- 1 unreife Tomate und 1/2 Burrata.? Olivenöl ranzig. Pizza ist gut und Risotto lecker. Trotzdem stimmt Preis/ Leistung nicht.

Echt Portofino, die Deko ist schnulzig toll. Die Gastgeber sensationell freundlich.

Gutes Essen und sehr nettes Personal.

Essen: Die Portionen waren großzügig, viel Fleisch und die Soße war lecker. Atmosphäre: Ideal für Paare oder Familien. Man kann sich gut unterhalten, ohne schreien zu müssen. Bedienung: Guter Service. Obwohl es nur einen Kellner gab, konnte er Bestellungen und Zahlungen problemlos abwickeln und hatte sogar noch Zeit für ein kurzes Gespräch.

Wir haben einen Kurztrip nach Leipzig gemacht und sind spontan zum Abendessen in das Portofino eingekehrt. Vom sehr netten Empfang, über den tollen Service, bis zum Essen war es einfach der Hammer! Sollten wir mal wieder in Leipzig sein, kommen wir definitiv wieder vorbei.

Gemütlich gepflegtes Ambiente mit super freundlichem Personal und Chef... war mittags mit Kollegin da und kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder ☺️

Portofino ist ein italienisches Klischee, oder? Im Portofino im Leipziger Stadtteil Gohlis Nord wird Italien jedoch gelebt. Auf meine direkte Art reagierte der Service nach der Barolo-Bestellung sehr angemessen beflissen und zuvorkommend. Das Essen (Tagliatelle mit Garnelen) war ein Gedicht. Nun die Steigerung von "Das Beste": Super war die Panna Cotta mit einem unvergesslichen Vin Santo. Klasse Service und pure Gastfreundlichkeit.

Nachdem meine ursprüngliche, ausführliche Rezension entfernt wurde, ist mir inzwischen auch klar, warum die Bewertung dieses Restaurants so auffällig gut ausfällt. Mein Besuch war leider alles andere als positiv: Der Empfang war kühl und wenig gastfreundlich, eher wie in einem Schnellimbiss als in einem Restaurant mit Anspruch. Der zugewiesene Tisch war nicht richtig gereinigt – er war klebrig und offensichtlich nur oberflächlich von Krümeln befreit. Auch das Umfeld ließ zu wünschen übrig: staubige Oberflächen, Verschmutzungen an der Einrichtung und insgesamt kein gepflegter Eindruck. Beim Service setzte sich dieser Eindruck fort. Tische wurden zwar teilweise abgeräumt, aber nicht gereinigt – Essensreste und benutzte Servietten blieben liegen. Stattdessen wirkte das Personal zeitweise unaufmerksam und wenig bemüht. Dass eine solche Erfahrung nicht veröffentlicht wird, sondern scheinbar gelöscht wird, erklärt für mich die hohe Gesamtbewertung. Kritische Stimmen scheinen hier nicht erwünscht zu sein – stattdessen wird offenbar lieber mit rechtlichen Schritten gedroht. Eine Bewertung sollte das echte Gästeerlebnis widerspiegeln. In diesem Fall habe ich daran meine Zweifel

Das Essen war sehr lecker, aber der Service war leider sehr schlecht. Unsere Hauptspeise haben wir erst nach 1,5 Stunden und auf Nachfrage erhalten, und mehrere aus unserer Gruppe mussten zu einer bestimmten Zeit los um einen Zug zu erwischen. Darauf wurde eine halbe Stunde und erneut 10 und 5 Minuten bevor wir los mussten, hingewiesen. Leider bestand kein Interesse uns rechtzeitig abzukassieren, man wurde darauf verwiesen dass man noch andere Gäste hätte. Zum Glück waren ein paar aus unserer Gruppe nicht in Eile und haben für uns dann das Bezahlen übernommen. Ansonsten hätten wir unseren Zug verpasst und nochmal ein neues Bahnticket kaufen müssen. Als uns dann die Rechnung geschickt wurde, wurde statt normaler Bruschetta ein Antipasti Teller (welcher doppelt so viel kostet wie die Bruschetta) aus meiner Bestellung abgerechnet. Gegen Ende war es leider ein sehr stressiges Aufbrechen und verspätetes Ärgernis, dass etwas falsches und teureres auf der Rechnung stand.

Das Essen war gut, aber der Service war wirklich schlecht und die Wartezeit sehr lang.

Leckere Risotto und Nudelgerichte. Die Pizza könnte für meinen Geschmack etwas mehr Würze und Pepp vertragen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und seviceorientiert. Alles in allem haben wir hier einen schönen Abend verbracht.

Wir waren das 1. Mal hier. Hervorragendes Essen, leckerer Wein und eine supernette Bedienung. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Im Restaurant selbst waren wir nicht, aber wir haben schon mehrfach bestellt und das Essen nach Hause liefern lassen. Die besten Spaghetti Bolognese, die wir je gegessen haben, gibt es hier. Das Essen können wir empfehlen.

Ein wunderbarer Abend im Portofino Leipzig! Vom ersten Moment an fühlt man sich hier willkommen. Das Ambiente ist stilvoll, warm und italienisch-authentisch – genau so, wie man es sich wünscht. Der Service ist aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Das Essen war hervorragend: frische Zutaten, perfekt abgestimmte Aromen und sichtbar mit Liebe zubereitet. Die Pizza knusprig und aromatisch, die Pasta auf den Punkt gegart – und auch die Vorspeisen sowie das Dessert waren ein Genuss. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Qualität der Produkte. Man merkt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Preis-Leistung absolut fair. Für mich eine der besten italienischen Adressen in Leipzig. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

Wir waren zum Valentinstag Spezial vor Ort. Hier gab es ein 3 Gänge Menü für ca. 45€ inklusive 1 Glas Prosecco pro Person. Man konnte bei den verschiedenen Gängen zwischen verschiedenen Speisen wählen. Wir hatten zuvor reserviert ohne zu wissen das es an dem Tag eine spezielle Karte gab. Entschädigt wurden wir aber mit speziellen Hauptspeisen für dieses Event! Das Essen war Tippi Toppi, lecker und wertig. Der Gastraum und die Bar sind sehr schön und einladend! Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett. Etwas Abzug gibt es für die Betreuung, da zwischen den Gängen nicht automatisch bei leeren Gläsern nach weiteren Wünschen gefragt wurde. Es war aber an dem Abend auch volles Haus! Toilette ist sauber aber eher Standard und ohne Gestaltung

Wir waren zu zweit im Portofino und sind insgesamt zufrieden. Die Hauptspeisen haben uns nicht aus den Socken gehauen, waren aber dennoch lecker. Empfehlenswert sind auf jeden Fall die Nachtische.

Trotz unverschuldetem Fehler im Onnline Bestellsystem bemühten sich die Kollegen schnellstens um einen passenden Tisch im vollen Restaurant. Wiir wurden sehr schnell und freundlich bedient und das Essen war wiie immer geschmacklich authentisch italienisch und sehr lecker angerichtet.

We were there on a Wednesday evening and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The online reservation worked perfectly, and we felt very comfortable in the small but cozy restaurant. The pasta was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. Despite the restaurant being busy, the waiter was very attentive. We didn't have to wait long for our food and drinks.

Our absolute favorite Italian restaurant! The food is fantastic, the staff is always friendly and attentive, and the prices are perfectly reasonable. We love coming back here. (P.S.: Don't miss the desserts!)

We ordered through Lieferando. The worst pizza we've had in years. The pizza bases were cheap, with very sparse toppings. The dough was heavy and heavy, and the pizza arrived cold. And it was very expensive for what it was.

We celebrated a birthday with a large family gathering at Portofino yesterday. Of course, I had reserved tables in advance. The evening was wonderful and (unfortunately) flew by. Everyone was more than satisfied: delicious food, a very pleasant atmosphere, and exceptionally friendly service. I've eaten at Portofino several times and have always been satisfied. I've tried various dishes, including lasagna, pizza, and salads, and everything has always been delicious. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and everything is prepared fresh to order. The portions are also quite generous, which I really appreciate. The drinks pair well with the food, and the desserts are also very tasty. Overall, it's simply a restaurant you'll want to return to because the quality is consistently good and you feel comfortable there. I highly recommend it.

We were there in the summer. We ordered three ice creams and three drinks. We actually received the correct drinks twice and the correct ice cream once, but the second ice cream was wrong, and the third wasn't brought at all. Iced coffee wasn't available. The service was incredibly slow. It's a shame; it used to be different.

We were at Portofino on a Tuesday lunchtime. We had reserved a table for 11:00 AM. Until 12:00 PM, we were the only guests. Then the door opened, and one table after another came in. In the meantime, our food arrived. Everything was simply perfect. Each of us had a different pizza, appetizers, pasta dishes, and salad. Everything was delicious, and the portions were very generous! This little Italian restaurant is highly recommended!

We spontaneously reserved a table by phone this morning for lunch. It worked without a hitch. The staff is friendly, quiet, attentive, and helpful. The seating inside is cozy and comfortable. There's also a small outdoor seating area. The menu is varied, and there's something for everyone. Everything is freshly prepared. The portions are filling and completely reasonable for the price. Very tasty and fresh! The quality of the food is consistently very good. This wasn't our first visit. We'd be happy to return anytime. And if there's no room, you can also have the food delivered.

The service was truly attentive. Unfortunately, the food wasn't worth the money. It didn't taste fresh, and the gnocchi were definitely not homemade, as advertised, in my opinion. Very disappointing for the price. The pizza, unfortunately, wasn't a traditional Italian pizza either. A far cry from a real Italian restaurant. Still, the waiters were attentive.

Two of us visited Ristorante Portofino on a Wednesday afternoon and felt completely at home. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for a relaxed lunch break. The staff was very attentive and friendly, making you feel immediately welcome. We had two pasta dishes and a large salad – all freshly prepared and delicious. We finished our meal with the tiramisu, which we particularly enjoyed. We'd definitely be back! 🍝🍷🍰

After our first review was reported and deleted by the restaurant owner for alleged defamation...as is likely the case with most negative reviews of the restaurant...here are the facts of our visit to Ristorante Portofino. Our €18 pizza tasted like a frozen one from the supermarket. The tortellini were very hard on the inside and extremely oily. The service was okay, and the ambiance was a bit dated but still conventionally furnished, yet nothing to complain about. Only the food, as I said, is really not worth the money. This review reflects only the truth and my own opinion of our visit to this restaurant.

I've been ordering from there for a long time, and while it costs a bit more, the quality is always excellent. Top! I can't comment on the atmosphere since I always have it delivered. Best regards :)

We love coming to Portofino. The food is fantastic, the ambiance is great, and the service is excellent, even accommodating special requests (e.g., table decorations for a wedding anniversary). They always ask if everything is okay, and you feel like you're in good hands as a guest. The constantly changing seasonal menu is creative and varied.

There were 13 of us there. Service was very good. Food was very good. The atmosphere was also very good. Perhaps something on the house would have been even better.

Service was friendly (Eastern European), prices were okay... My tagliatelle al tartufo, however, was drowned in a mushy sauce. It wasn't my cup of tea, so I won't be returning.

When we were there on Monday evening a little over a week ago, we were very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was very busy, and we were lucky to get a cozy table for two in a corner at the back. Even without a reservation... The service was very friendly, we knew what we wanted, and we ordered two pizzas (one with salmon and one with rocket and ham). We didn't have to wait long for our drinks and food. The pizzas were really delicious. We can highly recommend it. Everything was just perfect...

We were warmly greeted as soon as we arrived - the service was consistently attentive, friendly and very professional without seeming intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious, freshly prepared and in just the right portion - neither too little nor overloaded. Particularly positive: the price-performance ratio is simply right here. You get high quality dishes at a fair price. We also really liked the ambience: stylish, cozy and with a Mediterranean flair, which perfectly reflects the name “Portofino”. Ideal for a relaxed dinner for two or with friends. We will definitely come back – a real recommendation!

We had dinner with friends at Portofino. The dishes were fresh and tasty and the portions were an optimal size. There was also a cocktail that also tasted very good. The waiter was very nice and attentive.

My friend and I went to your place for a classic Italian meal and what can I say... It tasted very good and everything was as me and my friend imagined. Especially the bruschetta and the pasta with wild salmon were very tasty and especially the dessert, the panna cotta, which I know tasted very good! It's very tasty and you can go there for €60 for both.

If you want good Italian food, this is the place to go. Be sure to allow some time. The staff isn't the fastest. Make sure you book in advance.

A small but very fine restaurant with a great atmosphere. Great, friendly service, and a reasonable wait for the food. We had arugula salad for starters and a tortellino portofino for the main course. Both are highly recommended; absolutely delicious and beautifully decorated. Reservations are advisable in the evening, as the restaurant isn't large. It was a successful evening, highly recommended!

Unfreundliche, gelangweilte Bedienung. Bestellt wurden 2 Pizzen, eine davon kam falsch (Margherita statt Diavolina). Nach der Reklamation wurde einfach die bestehende falsche Margherita mit Salami und Rucola belegt und so getan, als ob diese frisch aus dem Ofen kam. Geschmacklich waren die Pizzen gut. Aber Ambiente, mäßige Bedienung und Essen rechtfertigen nicht den hohen Preis. Wir haben von 18 Uhr bis 22:30 Uhr gesessen und hätten sicherlich mehr konsumiert, wenn eine Bedienung uns nach dem Abräumen mal aufgesucht hätte. Es gab weder die Nachfrage nach weiteren Getränken noch einem Dessert. Wir mussten nach der Bedienung fuchteln, damit wir nicht nicht weiter auf dem Trockenen saßen. Wir haben uns nun zum wiederholtem Male nicht wohl gefühlt und werden das Restaurant nicht mehr aufsuchen. Dem Portofino fehlt definitiv die Konkurrenz im Umfeld, dann würde sich vielleicht mehr bewegen in Richtung Service.

We were there on Sunday last week and we really enjoyed it. We ordered a total of a portion of bruschetta, 2 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes as well as tartufo for dessert. Overall, everything was very tasty, appropriately sized and well seasoned. What particularly surprised us was the tartufo we ordered, which was decorated for our birthday child. There was also a free espresso for everyone. The bottom line is that Ristorante Portofino is absolutely recommended!
