I was there with a friend just before closing time, and they offered us takeaway food. 👍 There's a smoking area outside. The pasta with pesto was delicious.

The restaurant is a bit hidden away, but that's all the more reason to recommend it. The service was very friendly, even though she didn't fully understand a question about the seasonal menu and therefore couldn't answer it. The food was also very tasty and impressed with generous portions at average prices.

We had a delicious meal and received wonderful service. Great pizza with a very tasty crust, delicious pasta with a generous portion of salmon. A nice espresso afterward. Great, friendly place. Lovely Italian music in the background. Quite different from the "constant jingle" we get elsewhere. Thank you for the lovely evening, we'd love to come back. Second evening and another great meal. 😀 Third evening, but today "only" for espresso, panna cotta, and a delicious amaretto. It just had to be. 😉 Some people are said to come back for the fourth time... It was again very delicious, and we felt completely at home again. Today was our fifth visit, on the last day of our vacation in Leipzig, of course, "eating with friends" again. The salmon is magnificent and cooked to perfection. Many thanks and best regards to the kitchen. We'd love to come back next year.

My salad was very crudely presented, with no dressing despite being a main course. The pizzas were also unimpressive. I wouldn't recommend it.

Very poor service. Four of us arrived and were unfortunately ignored. After waiting ten minutes, the waiter preferred to replace burnt-out candles at the neighboring table and serve new guests instead of setting our table (it was dirty from previous guests, and the dishes were still on it). We then left and had a lovely evening at another location. Sorry, but at today's prices, you can expect to be welcomed and served!

Nice outdoor seating in a pleasant old town setting. The pizza wasn't great. The Merlot was also well below average. My guess: the owner or the kitchen staff aren't even Italian.

The restaurant is centrally located in Leipzig and offers really large portions. The pizza was huge and the pasta with mushroom sauce came with big, juicy pieces of chicken - definitely filling! The cappuccino unfortunately had no foam, but was served very hot. Overall, good value for money.

Absolute recommendation, a piece of Italy in the middle of Leipzig, hidden in a backyard. Friendly reception. Nice atmosphere, very well maintained and clean. It took a while for our food to be served, but it was worth the wait. We were able to enjoy excellent vegetarian pizzas here. 36 centimeters in diameter, all ingredients fresh, the edge crispy. Really delicious and fairly priced. Gladly again

Definitely, you can recommend the restaurant. We (12 people) ate there two evenings in a row. Every time, every dish was very tasty, hot and served at the same time with everyone. Also very nice service. Price-performance ratio is also right!

Atmospheric place for a date :) The portions were large and tasty and at affordable prices. The restaurant decor and music are appropriate for Italian cuisine. The place is clean, the service is very nice. The only drawback I could point out was the staff's lack of knowledge of the wines on the menu. But looking at the other advantages, it did not make our visit unpleasant at all. Generally, I recommend it and I will be happy to come back.

All in all, there are much better Italian places nearby. It was very cold and the men's toilets were broken.

I discovered this small, somewhat hidden restaurant by chance after a guided tour through the arcade. The ambiance is lovely, the food was delicious (pizza and spaghetti carbonara), and the service was very friendly. We'll definitely see you again.

We were there in a larger group, which is certainly not easy. Nevertheless, we had to wait two hours for our food (pizza and pasta). Furthermore, the service was completely overwhelmed with our table - strangely, all the other tables were fine. My meal itself was rather below average: the spaghetti carbonara was dry and the egg was set. The tiramisu lacked espresso in the sponge fingers, and they used cream instead of mascarpone. It's a shame, because the dishes are actually quite simple. So, unfortunately, I can only give it one star and cannot recommend the restaurant.

We had some very good pizzas there in the afternoon (mushroom and mushroom ham). The service was very attentive and quick. We didn't have to wait long for drinks and food. Top 3 worst carbonara I’ve ever had in my life. Cheap bagged bacon and pasta, I honestly don’t know how they did the sauce but it was just too off, and the waiter even asked if we wanted cheese on our pasta? How do they even do carbonara?! Cheese is half the recipe… I just have just left when he asked that.

The Bella Italia is somewhat hidden in a small courtyard. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and you have the feeling of sitting in an Italian courtyard. The pizzas were served on a large round wooden board and were very tasty. For the kids there are small pizzas and also small pasta, which were beautifully prepared and also very tasty. The staff is very friendly and the prices are okay. Highly recommended.

We didn't have a reservation and were lucky enough to get a table for two people on Friday evening. Everything was very clean, the staff was very friendly, the menu was balanced. Our starter came quickly, the time until the main course was reasonable. It was rich and very tasty. We will definitely come back again.

Sorry, that was really nothing... No salt in the dough, generally very little taste, not enough cheese on a 4-cheese, but the dough was still almost raw and the pizza was lukewarm when I picked it up 5 minutes after ordering. It's a real shame, the reviews gave me a good impression. The lighting in the restaurant itself is so bright that it was a good thing that I took the pizza with me. If I hadn't been so hungry, I would have stopped halfway through. I would have liked to have bought it somewhere else, it's a shame about the 15€... :/ The only positive thing was the very friendly reception.

You can eat delicious pizza here in a small courtyard. These were top in terms of price-performance ratio. The service staff were always quick so you didn't have to wait long.

I also read the bad reviews in advance and initially had a bad feeling about this restaurant. However, to be honest I can't understand all the negative reviews on Google. I ate here with my family today and I have to say that the food was really delicious and it was at the table very quickly. I also cannot agree with the negative reviews on the subject of reservations. We didn't make a reservation ourselves, but I noticed a couple making a reservation and everything went as expected. With just over 20 euros per person I can have a wonderful evening here. You will definitely be full!!! The ambience, especially in the inner courtyard, is also really nice. The only criticism I have is that the music in the courtyard could be a little quieter for my taste. The last thing I would like to note is that, as usual, the soft drinks are a bit expensive in my opinion. You have to factor in 6 euros for 400ml of cola, but the prices of alcoholic drinks are quite reasonable. All in all, this is a great place to have a nice evening with delicious food.

In itself a good Italian restaurant, for the price it's worth it. I had a Pizza Tonno for €14.90, of course it sounds expensive, but you have to remember that inflation is very high. The pizza was very large, but manageable and tasty. For the price, okay.

Prices and service are very nice. It was as if we had visited an Italian courtyard. The only suggestion is to make the risotto not that greasy, but the dishes were generally tasty!
