From our first impression, we thought it would be a good idea to eat there. The bruschetta was also good as a starter, and since the menu only offers pasta dishes, we thought they would be very good. The carbonara wasn't very good for my taste, and the arabiata was so spicy that you couldn't taste anything. We certainly won't be going there again. The service was overwhelmed and unmotivated, even though only the outside tables were occupied.

In addition to the elaborate decorations for a comfortable ambiance, all quality standards were observed. From service to cuisine, cleanliness to knowledge, everything is ensured here. I will definitely come back and was very pleased to encounter such friendly interaction, where not only is the menu and menu well-intentioned, but this restaurant also invites well-intentioned people to come together and spend pleasant moments. We don't live in Radolfzell, but when we're there, we go to tabu' art. The chef is from Rome and conjures up delicious, fresh specialties originally from Italy! The food may be a bit pricey, but it's of the highest quality! We've eaten there several times (including food to take home). Top tip. It gets 5 stars. If there were 10 stars, we'd give it 10!!! If you don't eat there, you're missing out!!!

Authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Radolfzell. We actually wanted to go to the restaurant next door because it was busier, but they didn't accept card payments, so we spontaneously ended up here. There were four of us, and we were all absolutely thrilled! Homemade fresh pasta with a variety of flavors and ingredients that we absolutely loved. The service was extremely friendly and just as authentic as the food! Thank you for this surprise.

Friendly service, but the price isn't right. A Caprese for almost €17 consists of a scoop of buffalo mozzarella and about 1.5-2 tomatoes. The mozzarella tasted good, but we flinched when we saw the plate. For main course, we had homemade pasta (they don't serve pizza here anymore, by the way). It tasted good and the portion was okay (about €20 each). Beer is served in bottles, not on tap (in case that's important to anyone). What really annoyed us, however, was the €2.50 charge for some Parmesan cheese that we wanted for the pasta. So, for the two of us, we paid almost €70 (1 appetizer, 2 pastas, 2 pilsners, Parmesan). That's not good for me, even though the main course was good, sorry.

Was there yesterday. Absolutely delicious dishes, very lovingly prepared. Service was super friendly and explained everything perfectly. Unfortunately, I'm not from here, otherwise I would eat there more often.

Last night I ate at this restaurant. I ordered a bottle of still water, which they served with tap water for €8.90. A caprese with mozzarella, a tomato and four slices of onion cost €19.80. For two people, three small slices of old bread were at least two days old. And the service wasn't as great as it should have been. I will never go there again and I don't recommend anyone go there either.

The Tabú Art menu offers a selection of Italian pasta, meat, and fish dishes – all fresh from the market. Individual requests and intolerances are naturally taken into account. The daily specials also surprise with two or three sophisticated dishes that whet your appetite. Yesterday, for example, spaghetti with Parmesan and Pecorino fondue – a delicate mousse that gave the spicy sauce a velvety lightness. A real treat – not only in taste, but also visually. The desserts also demonstrate a creative touch: imaginative, lovingly presented, and anything but standard. Add to that attentive, warm service – including a visit to your table from the chef himself, who is genuinely interested in his guests' feedback. The wine list rounds out the experience: extensive and consistently of impressive quality.

It seems as if good service and customer friendliness are taboo at TabuArt. We visited the restaurant by chance and were greeted very warmly, despite having a dog. We opted for an appetizer, a main course, wine, and water. First, instead of the green salad, a mini portion of pasta arrived. At first, we thought it was someone else's appetizer, but it was the main course. Upon request, we received the green salads without much apology, then my portion of pasta arrived. The pasta was very fine and freshly cooked, but my companion wasn't satisfied after his mini portion. We ate the salads after the pasta and ordered bread, which, however, costs extra... Then we ordered two espressos and a dessert. The dessert was delivered—but to the next table. The gentleman must have wondered why he'd been given two spoons. We waited and waited and asked. "Oh, I forgot, you know, I'm tired"—the terse reply. Aha, but that's not our fault. No "Sorry, I'll bring you what you missed right away, coffee's on the house." Nothing like that. We paid and left. Barely 100 meters away, there's an ice cream parlor with excellent ice cream ;-) TabuArt is off-limits for us in the future. What a pity that delicious pasta!

We were on vacation and wanted a delicious dinner. But we'd never eaten at such a bad and overpriced meal. My husband had pork medallions with truffles (€24.90) and I had sea bream (€21.90), both with salad. The food was simply unseasoned and a tiny portion. The drinks weren't what we ordered either (one still mineral water and one sparkling mineral water). Both were tap water and cost €3.90.

We spontaneously stopped by on a Saturday evening. The homemade truffle ravioli with porcini mushroom sauce and the homemade tagliatelle with lemon pesto and salmon were absolutely delicious!

Very disappointing experience. The vegetarian dish at €15.90 was overpriced and disappointing, especially given the small portion size. What was particularly problematic, however, was the bread, which was charged extra and was moldy. We were not offered any fresh bread, but after half an hour a plate with four pieces of cake was placed on the table. The situation of having eaten moldy bread could have been alleviated by appropriate and friendly treatment - but that is exactly what failed to happen. Instead, the bread was charged and the refund was only given after an unfriendly discussion. No recommendation.

My favorite Italian in Radolfzell! In addition to the menu, there are various current Italian and often very creative dishes on a board in front of the restaurant or you can simply ask the waitress what is currently available. Excellent pasta dishes. Nice atmosphere and good location not far from the train station in the old town.

Food: Both the spaghetti with salmon and the tagliatelle with pesto were overcooked and had no cooking whatsoever, the spaghetti was swimming in far too much sauce and the pesto was very bland. BUT the bean soup with homemade croutons was extremely tasty 👍

Honestly, this is one of the Italian restaurants that served me my best pasta of my life. I loved the whole atmosphere, the service and the dish served for me, my father and my mother. We come from far away and didn't know where to eat this lunch so we came across this restaurant by chance and honestly superb restaurant which deserves many more stars I recommend and congratulations to the chef and his staff 👍🏼

The staff is courteous and friendly, the atmosphere is inviting and cozy. The prices correspond to the performance. One star deducted because the portions of the ravioli in sage butter were very small. But the hunger was enough for the delicious dessert. The other dishes had sufficient quantity. Always my pleasure.

A wonderful place with Italian food and ambience and Cuban flair (the chef - a Roman - loves listening to Cuban music) We really enjoyed our meal, truffle ravioli with sage - lovely and a pork fillet also wonderful. We spontaneously had dinner at Tabù Art in Radolfzell on October 16th. The tagliatelle (with pesto and shrimps), the spaghetti (with salmon) and the salad with tuna we ordered were excellent, yes, cleverly prepared. We had the impression that we had a very authentic Italian meal here. The impression was reinforced by the enjoyment of the tiramisu that we ordered for dessert. The service was very friendly and gave us good advice. The restaurant was only moderately busy. We hope for the owners and the team that this was just an exception. From our point of view, a real recommendation in Radolfzell for anyone looking for Italian food other than pizza.

We were able to enjoy this wonderful, genuine, fresh, varied Italian cuisine for the third time. Anyone who has something to complain about here is probably only used to fast food. No 08:15 menus are served here. The chef is very creative, also with the desserts😋😋😋. Very friendly family business. In this restaurant you can feel l'italianità vera. A discovery!!!

Today (October 3rd, 2024) at 2:30 p.m. we walked through Radolfzell looking for a restaurant that was open. We found what we were looking for in TABU ART. Only one table was occupied. What was a bit strange at first, but thanks to the very nice manner of the service lady, we quickly felt very comfortable. The menu is very clear, but is constantly updated with changing recommendations from the chef. We ate two of the recommendations and a pasta dish from the menu, which can be ordered as standard or according to the chef's style (we chose the chef's style) and felt like we were in seventh heaven. The fresh ingredients and sophisticated preparation of the dishes absolutely surprised us and also convinced us in terms of taste!! If it wasn't so long for us to travel, we would have found a new favorite restaurant in TABU ART. We wish the team much success and many guests!

Pizza was good. The boss was extremely unfriendly and rude -> we weren't served for ages and when we paid, our pizza was simply charged €2 more. When I asked, the boss said, “That’s what it says in my various handheld devices and I don’t care what’s on the menu.” We will definitely never enter this restaurant again.

(Eating Italian is not just Pizza or Bolognese, but much more) I found myself in this restaurant with some friends and we left satisfied and happy with their accurate service, their excellent cuisine and above all friendly and kind owners. Anyone who can distinguish the natural taste of food from a packet of sauce and can appreciate elaborately cooked food has come to the right place in this restaurant. Since we are very open to new things, we regularly treat ourselves to the chef's surprise menu at Tabu Art. Three to four courses are completely sufficient. You can expect small portions with delicious, very attractively prepared dishes. The prices correspond to the quality of the food and the preparation time. Anyone who still cooks properly knows how much effort you have to put in to make a good meal. Taboo Art for us is “eat better”.

On my business trip I was in Radolfzell and found a very good place to have dinner in the pizzeria. The pizza we ordered was prepared quickly and also very tasty. The price is a little higher compared to other restaurants, but I think the price-performance ratio is good. The beer we ordered with it also went perfectly - unfortunately I'm not a wine type. Should I come back to Radolfzell, it is very possible that I will eat here again.

When pizza was still available about a year ago, the restaurant could only be recommended. We were there again about a week ago. We were looking forward to a delicious pizza and received tasteless pasta which was extremely expensive. The portion was so small that we had to go to McDonald’s afterwards to get our fill. And even the chicken nuggets had more flavor than the pasta. The waitress didn't show us the bill but only told us the price. We will no longer visit the former good restaurant

Great ambience and good service! The spaghetti was apparently cooked in unsalted water and for too long. The lime pesto had a nice color, there was no taste of lime. The salmon was dry and the portion was just a small appetizer, but at least it was beautifully prepared….

Attracted by the ambience and in anticipation, I spontaneously decided to have dinner at Tabù Art with my girlfriend. Since we are both pasta fans, it didn't bother us that there were no pizzas on the menu. After a friendly welcome and taking our order, we received our food quite quickly. But unfortunately we were very disappointed. The pasta was cooked through (not al dente) and the “sauce” was tasteless, or only tasted of pepper. What a disappointment. After the previously friendly service staff disregarded us with all their energy, we were unable to order anything, although we would have liked to have another drink. When we collected the money, there was no question as to whether the food was tasty. Too bad. No recommendation.

The best spaghetti carbonara of my life! Fried pork cheeks, not just any bacon (or even ham!), no (!) cream, as it should be, just egg yolk, still not dry, but creamy, pepper. Compliments to the chef!

We stopped by there on vacation and thought we could grab a bite to eat there. At the beginning, the lady in charge of the service was very friendly and, after bringing us the menu, she also recommended the specials of the day. I then selected their highly recommended Papardelle. To make a long story short: I have never eaten such bad pasta. I don't know what the chef's job is, but he definitely missed his job. Furthermore, the lady from the service stayed away from our table after she brought us drinks and food. We were also unable to order any more wine, which meant that we left the restaurant without a tip

Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as we had hoped. The food was cold and very little. The mashed potatoes looked like quark and tasted like lemons. Unfortunately, the service wasn't good either. We expected more because it used to be very good .We won't be coming anymore, that's for sure.

I was here for the first time today. The restaurant has only recently opened, so I'm sorry to write this review to the young team, but maybe it will help. I was there for lunch and found the portions very manageable, as can be seen in the photo. For just under 18 euros, that's more than paltry. I'm going to go to a bakery now to fill my stomach. Why can't you adjust portion sizes? How much would it cost to ask the guest whether they are very hungry or small and adjust the portion accordingly? Economically it probably won't cost much more, but it would result in a satisfied guest. With my 90 kg, I'm not a delicate little doll who would have been happy with this portion size, as you might imagine. But maybe she also thought, a few kilos less would suit him better, I'll help him with that 😂 Taste is discussable. The food was too mild for me, even though it was creatively served with small, spicy sausage cubes. The whole thing came on a cold, heavy stoneware plate, which, although pretty, cooled the pasta straight down to lukewarm to cool. Card payments are possible from 20 euros, so I ordered a Primitivo and got well over the 20 euro limit. Nevertheless, it was not possible to bring me a glass of tap water, even though I had specifically ordered it. I had to ask first and then a still mineral water came. The menu consists of one page with about six dishes. It's a shame, but for me the taboo art has become a taboo.

Bizarre restaurant experience. The waitress did not present us with a receipt when paying. Their “water” must have costed 10 euros, because the sum was highere than expected. And said water seemed to be bubbled-up tap water 🤔

Loveless pizza, thick crust and tough. The pasta dish was artificial, the sauce was too thick and the portion was very clear. The side salad with tuna was well done, fresh, crunchy, very good. Starter and main course came at the same time. A pity. The younger waitress was friendly, the boss (??) was snippy, not guest-oriented, uninterested. If you had asked us whether the food was tasty, we would have been happy to comment on it. Disappointed the first time, the second visit was also a failed attempt.
