The food tasted great but unfortunately the service couldn't implement everything due to language deficiencies and the ambience (including the deduction because of the smell) would have to be adjusted to the times. Great food can be recommended

The pizza and the pasta are highly recommended. The pizza dough is nice and thin and crispy. The ingredients taste fresh and delicious. The service is consistently very nice. It can be paid with Visa. The boss is very attentive and tries to make everything possible. The restaurant is also open late. Have already spent several fun evenings here. Addendum: even more enthusiastic about the service and serenity. Super nice

We have never experienced anything like this before!!! And we have already experienced a lot with this pizzaria (and always turned a blind eye). However, I have to say, only on the days when the son was responsible. We haven't had it delivered for a long time because we usually had to wait hours for our pizza, for a variety of reasons. So now we always pick up, we have accepted that. Today we order pizza to pick up again, it was busy and there was some negotiation over the phone about the time. What is the son of the house doing??? He just hangs up in the middle of the conversation... That's not possible! You can't treat your customers like that. I am a service provider myself and that is an absolute no go!!! That was definitely the last time we ordered pizza or went out to eat here (and we happily came to eat). Shameless, just shameless!!!

Hello dear Google Gourmets, hope you're doing well! We have been living in Radolfzell for over a year now. In the beginning we often went to the Pizzeria Il Cavallino. It was within walking distance and quite OK. Right from the start you couldn’t “recommend” everything. The salads were unimaginative, the steaks were terrible. Otherwise pasta, pizza & service were OK. We've been there again for some time now. There must have been a change in the person in charge. The service; less inviting. Some of the staff seemed grubby; slow but friendly! Everything outside is quite dirty, cobwebs etc. To eat; for me there are always two points by which I measure an Italian; the creativity & quality of the mixed antipasti plate and the sanitary facilities. The antipasti plate has never been the strong point of Pizzeria Il Cavallino. But now... designed with mixed pickles from the jar and otherwise with bought-in cheap stuff. The eggplants were still freshly fried, but not a highlight either. Now came the pizza; I have never seen such a messed up and unappealing pizza in my life (built in '63). Salami with some yellow layer on top... that was really underground... we don't go there anymore... For comparison... go to La Terrazza in town... great service... humorous, reliable... best food for a comparable price...

Small Italian restaurant that impresses with its very tasty cuisine.

I ordered qouadro stationi with mozzarella, asparagus, peppers, fried egg and spinach. Pizza arrived with onions, asparagus, olives and peppers and no cheese. ABSOLUTELY INCOMPREHENSIBLE Tomorrow we will get the money back. Shame and I waited an hour for that. And the smell of the incorrectly delivered pizza is unbearable. Since I have an intolerance to onions, I couldn't eat them. If you're too stupid to read and process an online order, you shouldn't offer an ordering service. The end of the song is I will never let myself be taken for a ride in this snack bar again.

Food and drinks were adequate, small restaurant, we were satisfied.

Went there for lunch with a friend today and was very disappointed and also had a vomiting experience there!!!!!! Ordered a minestrone as a starter and after a long wait a tasteless water soup arrived which has nothing to do with a minestrone....just disgusting..This water broth can be seen in the picture....cooking couldn't be more loveless !!!!!!It's outrageous for me to bring something like that to the table!!!!!! The pasta with minced meatballs also for me is missing the great Italian cuisine that we know from Italy?????? Girlfriend had rump steak with fries. Fries tasted strange, as if the fat was older or other foods were also being prepared in there. Steak was ok. Unfortunately for me it was a very disappointing experience and I will refrain from visiting this restaurant again!!!!!!It used to be good!!!!!! To make matters worse, there was an older lady sitting at the next table who vomited her food... but I don't think it was the food!!!!!

Great service, great Italian food, great pizza and great price. I was here most of my 6 week here.

The penultimate visit that you got some pasta without asking, I didn't order it when asked, they blamed it on the waitress, she forgot to say we didn't have it. Eat what you can get... I had to go there again because of the crowds, with 6 other people. Apart from making a reservation, which isn't difficult, the rest was catastrophic! New service that shines with displeasure and is totally overwhelmed... I really don't have to say anything more, since the last visit you could think that it couldn't be worse, and Cavallino has proven it, it can get worse! Unfortunately you have to give 1 star each, the restaurant should close, it used to be really good and I like going there, but the turn into the negative gives the impression that I'm tired of my job but I can't do anything else anyway, some stupid person will come to eat ….

One of the best pizzas we've eaten in a long time. Very thin, crispy dough, well topped with fresh ingredients right up to the edge. There is also garlic oil and hot peppers in oil, depending on your taste. Fabric tablecloths, fresh flowers on the table and extremely friendly, attentive service. Overall very attentive service and great hospitality. Highly Recommended.

Pizza was quite good, dough was tasty but unfortunately the side salad was nothing. Ready-made salad dressing and unfortunately not at all to my taste. It is better to let the customer season it themselves with vinegar and oil or ask if they would like sauce.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed, which was mainly due to the service. Both my drink and the pizza were not correctly understood and the service was neither friendly nor attentive. I ordered tuna instead of ham at my 4 station pizza. But then I had both on it and the toppings were evenly distributed over the whole pizza, which I didn't like with this combination. My partner had a vegetarian pizza, it was ok, but overall it had little taste and the vegetables e.g. peppers were not fresh. Since we were time-constrained and hungry, we didn't return anything, but we told the waitress we were dissatisfied. She didn't say anything about it and didn't apologize. We had bruschetta as a starter, although I've had much better ones. The bread was dry and tasted old, otherwise the taste and appearance were below average. The price was €38 (1x starter, 2x pizza, 2x drink). We won't come back.

The pizza was very good and the service was friendly.

Unfortunately the food is below average. Had pizza and pasta, both of which were unfortunately nothing special. Rarely have I had such bad pizza dough. Unfortunately the ingredients used are not fresh, mainly from cans. Well, luckily there are good alternatives in Radolfzell.

I don't know how you do it, but this is the best pizza margerita I've ever eaten, even in Italy I haven't eaten better. LG

It's a small but nice Italian restaurant. You have to make a reservation on the weekend otherwise you'll have no chance of getting a seat. Try it out yourself

We haven't been out for a meal for a cappuccino, grappa and an expresso at the end for a long time. The pizza was very good €27.50 per person, you can't complain - it was a birthday party after all

Wir waren zwei Wochen am Bodensee und dies war das beste Restaurant, das wir besuchen durften. Von außen ist es etwas unscheinbar, aber das Essen ist so genial lecker, dass wir das Cavallino jedem empfehlen können! Innen ist es auch sehr schön ausgestattet und die Bedienung war extrem nett. Begrüßt wurden wir mit einem Paar Bruschetta und als Hauptspeise gab es Ravioli gefüllt mit Walnuss und Gorgonzola sowie Gnocchi mit Rucola und Formaggio.

Pizza lecker, relativ dünn, kann man gut zwingen. Salat leider lieblos und eine Enttäuschung.

Wir haben hier schon mehrfach bestellt, da das Essen meist gut schmeckte. Da die Lieferzeiten jedesmal katastrophal (bis zu zweieinhalb Stunden) waren und dann meist nicht alles richtig geliefert wurde, haben wir heute beschlossen selbst abzuholen. Doch auch für Selbstabholer eine Wartezeit von ein einhalb Stunden für zwei Nudelgerichte ist einfach inakzeptabel.

Sowohl bei der Lieferung als auch einen Tag später vor Ort war alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Die Pizza ist sehr gut und das Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam. Unsere Hündin war auch sehr willkommen. Wenn wir mal wieder vor Ort sind kommen wir sicher wieder.

Gesamtbewertung nicht so gut,da zur Vorspeise gleich das Haupgericht serviert wurde . Pizza und Nudelgericht ok.

Sehr leckere Pizza. Dünner Boden und frische Zutaten. Auch die Tortellini und Spaghetti waren sehr gut. Der Service wirkte leicht überfordert, aber war freundlich.

Authentisches italienisches Essen. Ein Antipasti Teller zur Vorspeise, zum Hauptgang hatten wir Teigtaschen in Safransoße und eine Pizza. Alles war lecker, kam in einer angemessenen Zeit. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Restaurant ist einfach und ehrlich, es braucht keine feine Abendkleidung. Einfach hingehen wie man ist uns entspannen. 👍

Das cavallino ist Aufjedenfall zu empfehlen man wird hier sehr freundlich empfangen und das Essen schmeckt sehr sehr lecker.

Wir waren mit dem Schlemmerblock im Restaurant, saßen draußen und hatten zwei Pizzen. Super lecker, frisch, knusprig, schnell - so wie wir Pizza lieben. Service sehr freundlich und auf Zack.

Wir haben diverse Pizzen und andere Gerichte auf den Wohnmobilstellplatz bestellt. Sehr leckeres Essen. Lieferung kam pünktlich an. Sehr Empfehlenswert.

Around 12 € for a simple and small portion of salad, is expensive. The description said with parmigiano but was very few. The portion for pasta was correct and for a reasonable price. Service ok

Wir waren zu viert im Cavallino. Das Essen entspricht nicht unseren Erwartungen der eigentlich hervorragenden italienischen Küche. Alles war leider nur irgendwie nachgekocht. Beim Carpaccio war so viel Käse drauf gehobelt, dass man das Fleisch nicht gesehen hat. Das Vitello Tonato schmeckte sehr nach Mayonnaise. Die Bolognese war eine „deutsche“ Bolognese, also ein Mischmasch aus Tomaten- und Hackfleisch Soße. Parmesan musste ich nachbestellen. Alle weiteren Getränke musste man immer mehrmals bestellen bis diese gebracht wurden. Ich kann das Cavallino leider nicht empfehlen.

Kunden die Pizza abholen werden zügig bedient. Gäste die im Lokal sitzen haben um sich herum ständig stehende Kundschaft die auf die Abholung der fertigen Pizza wartet. Sehr ungemütlich. Sehr eng gestuhlt, es dauert ca 20 Min. Bis wir ein Getränk bekamen und fast eine Stunde bis die Pizza kam. Der Salat, der als Vorspeise bestellt war kam dann nach der Pizza. Die Pizza ist gut, doch das allein reicht nicht aus um ein Lokal zu betreiben. Es gibt auch andere Pizzerien.

Die Pizza war sehr lecker, vor allem der Belag. In der Mitte war die Pizza ein wenig weich, eventuell kam das vom Gemüse. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Ein Volltreffer! Wir waren Erstbesteller- zwei Kolleginnen hatten bereits unabhängig geschwärmt- also haben wir uns Pizza nach Hause bestellt: so lecker! Freundliche Dame brachte uns pünktlich und heiss! Das war ein Fest! Wir bestellen gern wieder- und werden sicher bald mal Gäste im Il Cavallino in Radolfzell sein!

Wir mussten zwar über 80 Minuten auf das Essen warten aber es hat sich gelohnt . Bisher die beste Pizza am Bodensee. Sehr zum empfehlen

Das Essen war Super! Alle Gerichte wurden gleichzeitig serviert und auf wünsche würde Rücksicht genommen. Qualität und Preis haben für mich gepasst. Ich habe mich direkt wie in Italien selbst gefühlt.
