Spontaneous visit on a sunny Sunday evening in beautiful summer weather. In the dining room, a large party seemed to have occupied almost all the seats. That wasn't a problem as we wanted to sit outside and luckily there was a table for two available and not reserved. After a short wait, the service person came and brought the cards. The range of food and drinks on offer is typical of an Italian restaurant in a positive sense. We ordered the drinks and twice pasta with salmon or with Frutti di Mare from the boss (?). The visit was worth it just for this heart-refreshing “sales talk”! After a reasonable time, drinks were brought and a short time later the food. We enjoyed both pasta dishes very much! The service was good and attentive and the communication with the boss (?) was funny and “Italian” lively! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. We'd love to come back!

nettes italienisches Lokal ,mit sehr guten Pizzen , die Geschäftsführerin erfüllt wie es möglich ist jeden Wunsch , zb. Wumschtisch.

On holiday in Germany we had dinner in this place as we usually do every time, and as always we found high quality food, generous portions and well cooked, fast service, very kind and smiling staff, the price in line with what we ate, we will return and recommend it.

Nice outdoor location on a quiet side street, prices OK, boss very assertive, fidgety and overwhelmed, forgets things like the Parmesan, the table was only cleaned when asked, the food was good in my wife's case, my son's Bolognese was very watery , oversalted and tasteless - with a low meat content. Everything goes worse, but also better.

Mitten in der Altstadt gelegen ist man bei einem italienischen Gastgeber mit authentischer Küche zu Gast und isst sehr gut. Nicht nur Pizza! Wenn man auf überhebliche Touristenallüren und Pfennigfuchserei verzichtet, fühlt man sich sehr wohl. Bei uns, die wir zu fünft hier waren, hat das geklappt.

Nice little pizzeria in the middle of the old town of Radolfzell. I always enjoy going here. Unfortunately no card payment is possible, otherwise I can recommend Il Pomodoro at any time.

For the not so spectacular food, at least the service should be good. Rude from the start, quick, quick. Of course the wrong drink was brought. Waiting a long time to order, eat, pay... The ambience is very nice and eating outside gives you a little holiday feeling. Prices okay.

Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to eat an additional starter or dessert. (Had to go back to Stuttgart) But this certainly won't be the last time you have it. I look forward to the next evening with you. ♡

Small, fine, very good food like at La Mama's home!

A lovely old-fashioned restaurant with excellent (!) pizza and friendly service. It would have been nice to have had a few more bills for some of the tables. Crooked, cheap and wobbly plastic on a wire frame stands out very negatively among the fortunately dominant real wood. Waiting time for takeaway 25min.

A cozy little pizzeria, but the food was amazing. I had a lasagna that was one of the best I've ever eaten. I can only recommend.

I had lunch at Il Pomodoro with 3 friends and a baby in a stroller. We had spaghetti with salmon cream sauce including a starter salad and a large salad with mozzarella. The salads were accompanied by delicious, fresh bread sticks. The food was fresh and super tasty. The portions were just right for us. The service was there with a big smile and was very warm, friendly and quick 😊 Although there was a communication problem when making the reservation, there was enough space for the 4 of us and the stroller. I will definitely eat there again!

Food quality not one sometimes mediocre. Pizza very boring. It was more reminiscent of a ready-made pizza. Cream of tomato soup was neither creamy nor good. No recommendation.

We always receive very friendly and quick service here. Because the restaurant is small, reservations are recommended in winter. In summer the tables in front of the restaurant are ideal. You get excellent pizza and the starters are good too. We haven't tried pasta dishes yet.

My husband and I treated ourselves to a nice day today and had lunch in the ancient narrow street in the old town of Radolfzell......and the choice was simply pizzeria il pomodoro.....small but nice...the food was very tasty and full of flavor it is really recommended.....

Cute little restaurant, very good food..

There were four of us. The restaurant wasn't full. We waited 30 minutes for the drinks and only got 3 drinks instead of 4. Waited forever for food again. When we asked, we received a snippy answer from the black-haired lady (boss). They also found it difficult to pay separately. The other waitress was nice, wanted to apologize to the boss and literally blabbered to us about how the service in Switzerland wasn't good either, etc. An absolute no go! There were also complaints about other guests because they wanted to pay in Swiss francs. There is no card payment and it is not visible. Food was ok, but nothing special.

We were just there this evening and wanted to get a pizza. We stood outside the door then a black-haired little waitress came to us and asked if we had made a reservation. We said no and before I could say that we didn't want to eat outside either, but just wanted to order, she cut me off and said "No chance!" and ran to the table. Great performance! That's exactly how you drive away customers. It's just embarrassing. I have never experienced anything so bold in any restaurant in Radolfzell.

Seit Jahren gehen wir hin: unser Lieblingsrestaurant in Radolfzell! Die Kellnerin ist immer freundlich und lässt sich immer was einfallen (siehe Foto). Einfach super!

Wir wurden direkt zu Beginn sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient vom Service (uns wurde sofort ein freier Aussenplatz angeboten, obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten). Unsere Bestellung wurde umgehend aufgenommen und innert kürzester Zeit serviert - Vorspeise war liebevoll angerichtet und die Pizzen waren heiss, knusprig und super lecker! Eine Empfehlung für jeden, der in Radolfzell zu Besuch ist :)

Il Pomodoro ist ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl und das Personal + Service ist top. Wir sind bereits öfter hier gewesen und wurden einfach nie enttäuscht. Wir haben verschiedene Gerichte ausprobiert und alles war überragend. Wir waren mit Bekannten hier und hatten das Gericht „Scalopine al limone con Tagliatelle“. Auch unsere Bekannten waren positiv überrascht. Nur zu Empfehlen! Il Pomodoro è un ristorante molto bello. Ci si sente molto a proprio agio e il personale + servizio è al top. Siamo stati qui diverse volte e semplicemente non siamo mai rimasti delusi. Abbiamo provato diversi piatti e tutto era eccezionale. Eravamo qui con conoscenti e avevamo il piatto «Scalopine al limone con Tagliatelle». Anche i nostri conoscenti sono rimasti positivamente sorpresi. Solo da consigliare!

Super Service von der Chefin tolles Essen vom Chef!

Einen Stern gibt es für das Essen, welches gut, wenn auch nicht nicht herausragend war. ABER: Wir hatten einen Tisch auf 17:30 Uhr reserviert. Uns wurde bei der Reservierung gesagt, dass der Tisch bis 19:30 Uhr zur Verfügung steht. Als wir im Restaurant ankamen, wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, dass wir nur bis 19:10 Uhr bleiben können. Soweit so gut. Anstatt uns zu fragen, ob wir nach dem Hauptgang noch ein Dessert möchten, kam die Bedienung bereits um 18:40 Uhr mit der Rechnung. Ab dann wurden Tische zusammengerückt und signalisiert, dass wir doch jetzt gehen mögen, da die nächsten Gäste schon vor der Tür stehen. Für uns ein Grund in Zukunft nicht mehr wieder zu kommen, schade!

In una nostra visita in Germania come facciamo ogni anno nel mese di agosto x stare qualche giorno insieme ai nostri figli che ci risiedono, sabato 20 agosto siamo andati a cena in questo locale come facciamo tutte le volte , naturalmente con prenotazione già dal giorno prima, qualcuno di noi ha preso la pizza,altri invece degli spaghetti allo scoglio, accompagnato da un'ottimo vino rosso,come sempre siamo rimasti più che soddisfatti di tutto, mangiare, servizio e conto,ci torneremo e lo consiglio vivamente.
