Ristorante Pizzeria Peppi's in Bad Dürrheim

We were visiting a rehab center this afternoon and stumbled upon this pizzeria. We received a very warm welcome, and the atmosphere was perfect. The highlight was the pizza. I'm over 50 now, and I can't remember ever having eaten such a good pizza. Special requests for toppings were accommodated without question. 5 stars and a thumbs up from me. We'll be back.🥰

We've been here several times. When you enter the restaurant you are immediately greeted in a friendly manner. The atmosphere is great. You also notice how well the employees/team get along with each other and that makes your stay much more pleasant. The toilets are always very well maintained, which is also very important. About the food: I have rarely eaten such delicious pizza! There is a lot of cheese added to the dishes, which I think is great. In addition, the pizza can still be eaten when it is cold. Since I eat very slowly, I often find that, for example, I can no longer eat the edge of the pizza when it is cold because it is usually a bit stiff and hard. That is not the case at this pizzeria. This means I can take enough time each time I eat without having to worry about not being able to eat half of it. There is also a lot of cheese in the tortellini. This is a dream! The tortellini are well done and not al dente, which I personally think is good as this is not for everyone. I'm at a loss for words when it comes to the starter salad. The dressing is not run of the mill with oil, etc. This salad is ordered every time and is always delicious! 😍 All in all, the restaurant is great and we always enjoy coming back. Can only recommend it! ☺️

The food was very tasty 😋 and the service leaves nothing to be desired. We felt very comfortable. The boss came to the table a few times and asked if everything was okay. We had two meat dishes, 1x beef and 1x lamb, absolutely the best quality. Since pasta was missing at first, we were given the best grappa in the house as an apology, a really courteous gesture. Thank you very much, the whole thing cost a little more, but honestly I'd rather spend a few euros more and be happy with the food. I can only recommend this restaurant. I eat there every two weeks and have always been very happy with the food and the hospitality of the staff. I would like to give more stars, but "only" 5 out of 5.

The combination with 4 types of pasta is great. The price level is a bit high, but I'm happy to spend a few euros more for good cuisine.

A restaurant that makes you feel good through and through and the first visit was extremely pleasant. Very friendly and incredibly attentive staff, nice atmosphere and delicious food. The pizza of the week (shrimp, zucchini, tomato burrata cream, rocket) was really good, the dressing from the side salad was great and the dessert plate was a perfect ending. Very happy again :-)

Great pizzeria. Despite the fact that it was very full and we hadn't made a reservation, the waiter made it possible for us to eat there. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and joking. You can even watch the pizza being baked through a slice. Everything tasted very good and the salmon pizza didn't skimp on the salmon, you also had the feeling that very high quality products were being used. If we're in the area again we'll definitely eat there again.

We wanted to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary as a couple in a romantic and cozy atmosphere and found the Perris restaurant. We reserved a table in advance and were attentively looked after by the staff throughout the evening. We didn't have to wait long for our order and were pleasantly surprised, not only by the presentation of the dishes, but also by the very tasty food - Bravo to the chefs!!!! As someone who loves to eat, I have been to many places but the only words I can say about this place are great, the service, the staff, the cleanliness, the quality of the food is excellent. To say that would be an understatement.

I ate there once as a couple and once as a group. It is tastefully decorated, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The food, of course, was also very good. I was very satisfied. I liked it there.

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with the food. The Pomodoro tasted boring and the pizza wasn't convincing either. If the homemade tomato sauce and pizza taste better at home than at an Italian restaurant, then it's better to save money in the future. It wasn't exactly cheap either. 🥴

The pizza at Pizzeria Peppi's was undoubtedly excellent - the dough was nice and crispy, the ingredients were fresh and everything tasted perfectly. Unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our visit. The service was simply disappointing. Instead of enjoying a relaxed meal, we felt constantly pressed for time. It was obvious that they would rather process the guests quickly than offer them a pleasant atmosphere. In our case we were finished after less than 30 minutes, which is a real shame for such a good pizza. There was simply no time for dessert or coffee - we were literally asked out. Unfortunately, such a hectic pace and the lack of space to enjoy left us with no choice but to leave no tip. If you want a quick, hectic meal, this might be the place for you, but if you want a relaxing evening with good food, you should look elsewhere.

We arrived with a toddler after calling ahead. We were not welcomed with joy, we were probably afraid that the child would disturb us. Which wasn't the case and then the waitresses became a bit friendlier. Food was great. The price is slightly higher than average. Quality was okay too. Ambiance is okay, a bit cramped. The staff/service was actually its own thing. Basically everyone was very friendly and attentive. -> too attentive. Someone constantly came and asked if we would like to order, we told three different people that we would like to take a look. Then, during mealtime, the staff chatted quite loudly at the tables with, presumably, regular guests. Sometimes also in pairs. It then became quite crowded in the corridors, which meant that other waitresses and guests squeezed past and repeatedly nudged guests sitting at the neighboring table while they were eating or simply came very close. Nevertheless, other waitresses were constantly walking through the aisles and did not defuse the situation. Of course, when the restaurant is full, there is a lot to do, but often you were just checking to see if something was needed, which was quite stressful given the tight situation. The funny thing about it is that if you actually approached someone with a question, etc. then they didn't respond or you weren't noticed. I myself also worked in the catering industry as a waitress, sometimes at 3-4 star restaurants, so this behavior would have been seen as unprofessional and you would have received a reprimand from the boss. There was also some chaos among the waitresses, as no one seemed to know what they were responsible for. Since there is nothing about this in the other recessions, I assume it was an isolated case. As a meeting place for good food and without children, definitely a good place.

We spontaneously visited my mom in rehab in Bad Dürrheim and wanted to go out for dinner in the evening. Unfortunately without a reservation, with little hope of getting a table anywhere (Friday evening with 3 adults and 3 children). Everything was full in the restaurant. But what happened next really sweetened our evening: we weren't sent away straight away, but were given a table after a short wait - so friendly service staff and the food was super tasty. They made everything possible and gave us a wonderful evening. I will always have a positive memory of that when I think of Bad Dürrheim! Thanks!

The food was delicious, everyone at the table was happy with their choice. However, I have to complain about the "mood" of the service staff. No niceness, no smile, no thank you for the tip. As a human being you can have a bad day, but it came across as if it was the uniform attitude of the staff that evening, except for one who was unfortunately serving a different table.

Great atmosphere I have to say, I'm really picky and hard to get excited about, but this restaurant is beautiful and very cozy and you just don't want to get up. My friend took me there because she used to be a regular customer there. When I entered I was greeted very warmly, the whole team fits in perfectly and is really nice. Of course the food was also great. Everything is top notch clean, even the salt and pepper shakers, which are really rare to find, there is even an extra corner with a changing table where cream and wipes are available. The sanitary facilities are like new, everything shines and smells fresh. If you haven't waited there yet, you should definitely see for yourself.

We were there for lunch on Sunday, 3 adults and 3 children. Had reserved a table in the morning. Great service. Our 3-year-old tipped his drink over in his exuberance, the glass of the drink was broken everywhere, two service staff immediately came and cleaned up the mishap. A new drink also came straight away (at our expense, of course, since he tipped it over). The food also came quickly, despite the full terrace and special requests. Very tasty and good portions. First of all: the team is very, very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is nice and, above all, very clean and well-kept. The restaurant is always very busy and they tried hard to get a table even though we came by spontaneously. Plus an open view of the clean pizza kitchen. It's all ok. But: unfortunately the food didn't work at all. I like to cook myself and travel a lot in Italy. But at 17.90 euros for a pizza, I just expect good products. But if you know what grated discount mozzarella tastes like, you'll find it here. Parmesan or Pecorino or fior de latte? Unfortunately not at all. In addition, the actually decent pizza dough is not prepared on a stone but in the form, of course oily on the bottom. It's a shame, but if you like it... The antipasti plate is not like that, but a pure sausage plate, no vitello, no grilled vegetables (except for a few very tasty sliced ​​grilled peppers), no melon with the ham, just a sausage variation with pieces of cheese, nothing homemade. This also costs 17.90 euros and also sausage of average quality at best and mozzarella mini balls that taste purely like the discounter mentioned above. That's simply not possible if you want to be an upscale restaurant, even if the plate was beautifully presented. As I said, it's a shame about the friendly team and great atmosphere, I like to pay good money and eat out, and everyone knows that good products and good service are of course reflected in the price. But delivery service quality at a high price annoys me. Luckily I didn't try any of the expensive meat dishes, which is what I was planning on doing. I think the team in the kitchen could definitely do more, the pizza bakers can handle their dough, you could see that, but these ingredients!

We had reserved a table for 2 on the terrace for 7 p.m. Unfortunately we had to wait a good 15 minutes because there was no table available yet. At first we weren't thrilled. Finally we were allowed to sit down. Then the service came around the corner and we got a delicious Prosecco on the house. We ordered a beef carpaccio, it was tasty, but the meat was cut a little too thick. The pasta dishes were tasty, but not outstanding. However, we would visit this restaurant again. In terms of price, we have already placed this location in the upper range for what is on offer.

We had lunch with almost 40 people. The order was made easily in advance by email, and changes were made without any problems until shortly beforehand. Very tasty food, excellent service!! The dishes all arrived at the same time, which I thought was difficult to achieve based on other experiences in restaurants. Great atmosphere, clean toilets. Clear recommendation!! Feel like a grape roof on the terrace in Italian Tuscany. Service is simply great and you feel warmly welcome in Peppies every time. The whole team at Peppies Restaurant and Pizzeria does everything to make you feel comfortable. We love the salad with our own dressing and the homemade “bread sticks” - a must have.
