I'd say the name says it all: La Mama... and you can take that literally. The bruschetta is very similar to Abruzzo bread, but that doesn't detract from the whole experience. Quite the opposite; it sets the restaurant apart from the rest of the market. The main course was also authentic Italian. The staff was friendly and accommodating, albeit a bit hectic. But then, we were there during peak hours.

I really enjoyed this Italian restaurant. The food was delicious, they even added salt and pepper to the table (even though everything was already on point), and everything went very quickly from ordering to serving. The staff is very accommodating, very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. They make every effort to satisfy their guests. – And that worked on my visit – I'd love to come back!

My wife and I ordered pizza (four cheeses) and spaghetti with shrimp. The pizza was very salty and the spaghetti was simply cooked, but the shrimp were delicious and fresh. Wine costs almost €6 per 200ml. All the tables on the terrace are crooked. I expected a bit more from an Italian restaurant.

We got a bottle of seasonal white wine and it was one of the best wines i have had in germany, the price was 35€ for the bottle, so for 2 people it was 17,5€ we had a fun time, having great conversation and without even thinking about it, one of the staff refilled your glass with the bottle on the table, which is just great, they were really kind and not pushy at all, they let you do your thing, which i love!

Went here for an early dinner completely exhausted and the food was so yummy and comforting! Staff was very accommodation.

Was here twice and everything was delicious

I had the Spaghetti Gambretti (€17.90) and the lady had a Penne Arrosto di Manzo (€16.90). We also had a pilsner (0.4l) and an Acqua Panna (€3.30). We were both very satisfied. Delicious. Pleasant terrace. I definitely recommend it!

The food itself was delicious. Unfortunately, the egg in the carbonara was curdled, and I had some gristle in the bacon. The other dish was good, though ;)

We don't recommend this place. We were turned away just because we wanted a drink. Old Town Festival or not, that's not how you treat your guests.

I used to enjoy going here, even though it's really not easy for vegans. A few weeks ago, the three of us just wanted espressos, and the waitress rolled her eyes. It wasn't nice. Maybe we would have wanted something to eat after all, but after that gesture, we lost our appetite anyway.

I've been eating here regularly since the mid-1990s. Today was the first time I've been asked to leave the outside table where I'd sat because I only wanted a drink and nothing to eat. An absolute no-go.

Have you ever been to Italy? If you've tried a Neapolitan pizza before and then go to La Mamma, you'll seriously wonder why Mamma doesn't like you anymore. Aldi does the crust just as well, but I only pay a fifth of the price.

We've eaten here several times. The food has always been delicious, and the portions are quite large. The restaurant offers plenty of outdoor seating. The service is decent.

Unfortunately, the pizza crusts were so hard that our 13-year-old daughter couldn't cut it herself. However, the fact that it was so busy suggests that the food is otherwise good. The pizzas also tasted excellent. The bruschetta bread was sliced ​​a bit too thin for my taste.

I was there with my mother and I had spaghetti with tomato sauce and prawns. The prawns were nice and spicy and very crunchy and the sauce was really good. The team was very friendly and I can only recommend it.

We visited Koblenz and can only confirm the positive reviews. The service was very friendly, and we enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, there was no way to change our child's diaper. That would be a good improvement. There's no children's menu either. However, they made us a small pizza bread upon request.

We had lasagna spinaci and spaghetti carbonara. The carbonara was the best. Top-notch. But the lasagna was good too.

The pizza was very watery and therefore soggy. It looked like frozen vegetables were used. Plus little taste! I also ordered an extra ingredient that was forgotten. The wrong drink was also delivered :( even when it was busy, that's a shame and annoying. We won't be coming back!

Ambience: we're all not getting any younger and then we'll have another basement toilet, even without soap and towels (what's the use of the connected electric dispenser without contents?) Otherwise: cozy restaurant, not overly Italianized, I find such a fuss like diagonally opposite rather strange… The coffee cups are for very delicate hands and the knives look brutal, but could be more cutting and are unwieldy. The coffee was good though.

We ate mussels in both versions. In white wine and mut tomatoes. Before that there was a carpaccio. All dishes were very balanced and tasted very good. First of all, I can only say chapeau to the staff. Always attentive and always with an eye on the guest. Therefore 5 stars. We'd love to come back.

The owner of the place told us we would have to wait about 20 minutes, which didn't bother us much. A group of six adults came after us, also without a reservation, and in a minute they were given one of the reserved tables that we had not been offered. We were told that these tables were not for four but for more people, but there were other tables with four people. Discriminatory treatment, maybe because we are foreigners, maybe because we came with two children… I don't know, because at that moment we left there and will never come back. When we were studying the menu, we were told in a very friendly and unobtrusive manner that there was a lunch menu. I then ate a delicious burger with sweet potato fries, at a fair price. For me, the spicy burger could have been more spicy, but all in all it was totally fine!

Were there about a month ago. The Italian food was really tasty and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The price for this was in the middle. The service could have been quicker and took its time, but otherwise everything was ok.

The food is absolutely not recommended. Criticism is dismissed with excuses, something we know from bad restaurants. The service itself is also at a loss. Only the fact that one of the bad meals didn't have to be paid for is to be attributed to the chef. We were really looking forward to this restaurant and didn't go to the Losteria opposite, but we were very disappointed. Here's a little note: half a tomato with some onions on it can cost 7.90 euros but then it will at least be garnished a bit. In any case, the pasta we ordered wasn't worth the 18.90 euros. Never again from our side. The chef seems to have been working as a chef for 30 years. I wonder what he did in those 30 years???

Visited for the first time, nice atmosphere and very friendly, courteous service. However, the food was just mediocre. My husband thought his pizza was okay. My Cappriciosa salad wasn't tasty at all, too many greens, totally watered down and everything was very unimaginative. I complained about the watered down salad and then received a new one, but it didn't change the above facts. I ate because I was hungry, but unfortunately it wasn't enjoyable. The pizza rolls were also too hard. When I asked the nice young waiter, I told him that I didn't like it. Unfortunately, NOTHING came!!! We just accepted it without comment and we paid and left. Therefore a total of 2 stars deducted for food and lack of reaction.

ABSOLUTE DISASTER! Overrated!!! I ordered food for lunch and had to leave it there. Tomato soup 80% cream 20% tomato. Bruschetta with tomato mozzarella costs €7 for 3 small carelessly prepared slices of bread. 1 leaf of basil was torn into 3 and distributed among the slices.

Not for dog owners!! We ate here several times last year. It's nice to sit outside in the summer. Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly since then; salads in particular are very clear, but are quite overpriced. BUT: You're not allowed in here even with small dogs... It's a shame, but we'll definitely not go there again (even without a dog).

We were in Koblenz yesterday and for us a visit to La Mamma is simply a must. Super tasty food and the waiters are all very accommodating and friendly. The interior could be renovated - but the food is just great :-)
