Super tasty and very friendly staff

Atmosphere inside is rather dark and uncomfortable, but outside it is quite ok. The waiters are nice, but not particularly attentive. The pizza - unfortunately terrible. The edge is charred and hard. Certainly baked in a pizza pan in the oven and tastes similar to a frozen pizza. I can't agree with the positive reviews.

Very tasty and the prices are fair. We would be happy to come back.

Very attentive, friendly and unobtrusive service. Usually well attended, but even without a reservation we have never had to wait too long for a free table. The ambience is neat and clean. I would particularly like to highlight the pizza, which is very tasty and to the point. Great dough, crispy and not dry. Prices are moderate and not excessive, despite the central location. We always like to come by for a “snack”. 😊

My review refers to the carbonara. Unfortunately, it was really, really bad. Dry, hardly any sauce, not creamy at all and the egg had set (that should never happen with a carbonara). I told the waiter this in a very friendly manner and I was not offered anything else. A pity. The portions are also generally very small, this applies to the pasta and the pizzas. What I also think is a shame is that you aren't even given a little bread or pizza rolls with vinegar, oil or herb butter beforehand.

No, that wasn't it. Were there with a very large group. We basically had to squeeze in because not enough space was reserved for us even though we had reserved weeks ago and then gave a reminder by phone last week. For most of us, the food was totally over salted. Pasta with asparagus and salmon was the biggest joke. There was 1 head of asparagus in there. Almost like a noodle in a cream sauce

The service was quite moody and anything but motivated. There seems to be a very bad working atmosphere among each other, everyone complains to each other and mainly the blonde lady with heavy make-up to all the other employees and makes comments about everyone. During the meal we were never asked if we wanted something more to drink. The food was average at best, I can't explain how all the 5 star reviews come together.

I just went to Pizzeria La Mamma for the first time and ordered a pizza and a salad to take away. The food was very tasty and the service was extremely friendly. I was able to pick up my food just 10 minutes after I called and card payment was also possible. I will go there more often now and can only recommend it to everyone.

I can't understand all the good reviews. We have never been to a restaurant as baby-unfriendly as this. No space for the KiWa (had to leave it outside), no changing table - I had to change her diaper next to the sink where it was wet where there was no room for a baby because half of it would be in the sink 😅 and only by very nice ones I was allowed to change my baby for restaurant guests. Otherwise I would have had to go to Cafe Extrablatt. I asked for a high chair, which my husband said no. When I went to get one a little later, it was very dirty and we left it alone. My baby dropped a small piece of bread, my husband didn't notice it, the waitress picked it up with an unmistakable groan. We felt really disruptive and unwelcome. In no other restaurant have I experienced as much displeasure about babies as here. The pizza was generally tasty, but my Magerita had hardly any toppings for 11 euros and almost 1/4 of the bladder was burnt. Salad was okay but not a taste experience. I give 1 star because we felt more unwelcome than ever before.

We were there a few weeks ago with our children. The food was good, nothing out of the ordinary. We adults had pizza, one child also had pizza and the second child had penne with butter. Sorry, but when the portion came I had to count the noodles, simply because it was so manageable. It was 22 pennes. And no, not homemade ones, they were bought ones. This portion cost us almost €9. Honestly???? For a cost of goods of perhaps just 50 cents. This is really usury. And the child wasn't even full. Even though our food was delicious, as I said, nothing exceptional, we won't go there again. Yes, prices have risen everywhere, but that was a disgrace. The service was impatient and unfriendly, the minimum of politeness was given. It's a shame, we didn't really enjoy our evening.

Very disappointing. Salad not edible because the broth from the fried champions was also poured over the salad. The yogurt sauce under the salad was unseasoned, as were the turkey strips. After we didn't eat the salad, the service didn't even ask whether we liked it or why we sent it back. Had a bitter taste in my mouth all day from trying it once. Price for this inedible salad plus a non-alcoholic beer €18 (cheap price) We will not visit this restaurant again and will not recommend it to others. Thank you for nothing

We were there once last year. Because of the sunny location (on a nice square in the city) at midday we went there again. All the tables outside were occupied, but we got a table relatively quickly. A pizza and (unfortunately I was craving spaghetti) a pasta dish. Pizza okay with lots of arugula (which was okay). So the spaghetti came, I thought...oops senior plate? But sometimes a portion is larger than you first think. But no. She was small and stayed small. A look at the other plates doesn't show any decent portions of spaghetti, but it looked like more. When I asked if everything was okay and said that the portion was quite small, she said that it was the standard portion and couldn't help it, but she could pass it on. Okay, when paying, the objection was at least commented on with a credible "I'm sorry, I'll pass it on." So pizza 5 points .. spaghetti because it tasted good but there wasn't enough .. 2 points.

La Mamma feels like coming home. You immediately feel at home in a cozy restaurant. Service is still very important here and when you visit you can be sure that you will be served by trained waiters. A small but fine menu invites you to let off steam with pasta, pizza, fresh salads as well as meat and fish. With good taste and an atmosphere that only a few other restaurants in Koblenz can offer, La Mamma is rightly one of the absolute insider tips in Koblenz. My personal tip: Pizza Campagnola!

We had dinner there with several colleagues after work. Ambiance is fine. Looks like an old Italian place. A little old, but not run down. We were served quickly and friendly. The food was also brought very quickly. I had a bruschetta as a starter, followed by the Carbonara “Originale”. Bruschetta: Very easy. Yes, the dish is also very simple, but here it was only 3 mini slices with bread. You had to season it yourself with salt and a pepper shaker. (So there was no basic seasoning...) All in all, not very inspiring for such a quick and easy-to-prepare dish. Carbonara “Originals”: This is where things went downhill in culinary terms. Although there was no cream on the dish, everything else was really sublime. Pasta overcooked, cheapest bacon, the egg completely set and flaked. No spice or flavor to the whole dish. So unfortunately that was really bad. Service was very quick and friendly. But I left there very disappointed. Seemed more like a tourist Italian with mass rather than class. A pity. Unfortunately I can't understand the high reviews here.

I ate there for the first time on March 10, 2024 as I was in Koblenz for 2 nights. The pizzeria is beautifully located on a square in the city center with lots of outdoor seating, definitely great when the weather is right. I was happy to get a seat inside. The decor is cozy, the staff is very friendly. The menu shows typical Italian cuisine, other dishes and there is also a page with recommendations. Bruschetta beforehand was great. The Tortellini Alla Panna were very tasty and the bread that was served with it was also delicious. Whatever food you could see that was served at neighboring tables looked very tasty. A clear recommendation from me, the Pizzeria la mamma in Koblenz is definitely worth a visit, and why only one if you live there... Thanks to the team, thumbs up and keep it up…👍

Tonight I have a lasagna al formo with spinach Brought to go. However, I paid the full ticket price of 14.90 euros for a smaller portion than in house, even though out-of-house dishes are only subject to 7% VAT. Pretty much downgraded the delicious lasagna

Absolute disaster!!! After ordering a bottle of wine we were given a glass of wine placed on the table. So far so good, it can happen. When we pointed it out to the waitress in question, the answer was: “Ok, then I’ll take it back with me and bring a bottle.” We asked: “Leave it here before it’s thrown away.” The waitress replied: “The next person gets the glass!” The wine is often ordered here anyway!” Please?! After objections on our part, the coronation came. “I’ll pour it back into the bottle and then it’ll be served to the next person!” We then left the store completely horrified and disbelieving. Who knows how many people have already had their food on their table before you get it. Absolutely disgusting and extremely dangerous for your health!!!

I have been traveling to the Koblenz area on business for over 24 years and have eaten here around 30 times and have always been 100% satisfied. !!!! But today I was literally turned away as a single guest. In the second attempt I was asked to wait about 10 - 15 minutes, okay so far. But during this time and another 20 minutes, couples and smaller groups were warmly welcomed into the restaurant. At the age of almost 60, I stood in front of the door like a "beggar or an uninvited bum" and now I went to the hotel without dinner. Believe me, I have had my own company for over 23 years and have experienced many ups and downs, including you!!!! will be grateful for every single guest in the near future. All the best for you

We ordered pizza, unfortunately the dough wasn't good. I think the dough was frozen, we didn't like the pizza.

Underground would have boasted: We entered the restaurant with 4 people. It was busy. A friendly waiter asked us to wait; A table will be available soon. We waited in the restaurant near the exit. There was enough space; Even the most corpulent sumo wrestler could have easily left the restaurant past us. Then the boss appeared and asked us in a harsh tone to leave the restaurant immediately and “if you would” wait outside. All of this in a tone that I would never use to speak to a customer, even under extreme stress. In this way, I visited the restaurant twice in one stay, namely the first and the last time. The whole thing is simply underground. We then found another Italian restaurant beyond the Liebfrauenkirche where all the staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious.

Meine Erfahrungen in diesem Restaurant: Mir hat die Pizza sehr gut geschmeckt, Durchmesser ca 30 cm und ausreichend belegt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Leider war in dem Gericht Combinazione zu wenig Nudeln enthalten (sehr übersichtlich), jenes wurde auch der Bedienung gegenüber aufgezeigt. Dies wurde freundlich zur Kenntnis genommen.

Haben hier sehr lecker gegessen! Der Service war wirklich 👍 gut. Da kann man schön italienisch essen gehen. Wenn wir wieder in Koblenz sind gehen wir sicher nochmal hier essen. Preise waren auch in Ordnung.

Schönes Restaurant! Die Salamipizza ist sehr lecker. Auch das Bier hat gut geschmeckt, nicht schlecht! Whiskey ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Insgesamt eine gute Einrichtung. Es ist ratsam, in dieses Restaurant anzurufen, da gegen 18:00 Uhr fast alle Plätze im Inneren besetzt sind. Es gibt ein paar Tische draußen, die man ohne Reservierung nutzen kann. Insgesamt ein gutes Lokal. Empfehlenswert! 👍👍

Naja…..umgeben von den besten Lokalen in Koblenz, sollte sich La Mamma etwas einfallen lassen um mithalten zu können und um in Zukunft nicht nur vom „Einmal“ Touristen leben zu wollen!

Klassiker. Seit Viertel vor Ewig in Koblenz etabliert, ist La Mamma womöglich das älteste italienische Restaurant in der Stadt. Wie kommt es, dass ein Restaurant sich so lange hält und es immer proppevoll ist? Wird was mit Qualität zu tun haben.

Ambiente ist einfach gehalten. Jedoch heben sich Service und das Essen positiv ab. Die Pizza war sehr lecker, das Bier war kalt 👍🏻

Beim ersten Besuch vor 1 Jahr waren wir sehr begeistert. Heute hat leider alles etwas nachgelassen. Die Pizza war arg "knusprig" und spärlich belegt, der Schinken sah wie Pressschinken aus, wir mussten ewig aufs Essen warten, und auf der Toilette gab es weder Seife noch Papier. Die Location war natürlich auch weiterhin sehr gut und das Personal freundlich.

Nettes italienisches Lokal. Ich würde behaupten, es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas Vorhanden. Antipasti, Suppen, Salate, Pasta und Pizza, aber auch Fisch und Fleischgerichte! Der Service war nett und zuvorkommend. Kinderstühle sind verfügt! Einzig und allein das Kopfsteinpflaster ist etwas schwierig zu Händeln, da die Stühle und Tische nicht immer gut ausgerichtet sind und man durch aus Mehrfach den Stuhl sowie auch den Tisch Justieren muss!!!Alles in allem ist es aber ein wirklich angenehmes Ambiente mit wirklich gutem Essen!!!

Ich komme hier immer hin, wenn ich Hunger habe und keine Ahnung was ich kochen soll und ich bestelle IMMER Penne Spinaci AL FORNO mit der fruchtigsten Tomatensauce, die man sich vorstellen kann. Aber Vorsicht: HEISS. Am besten Lambrusco dazu und erstmal am Drink nippen bevor man sich den Mund verbrennt! Service wird hier übrigens noch GROSS geschrieben. Klare Empfehlung für einen unvergesslichen Restaurantbesuch in Koblenz City.

Waren dort mit 4 Personen essen. Hatten Vorspeise Hauptgericht und Nachtisch. Wurden nett und schnell bedient. Alle Gerichte waren sehr lecker und der Service ausgezeichnet.

Sehr gutes Essen und top Service in einer schönen location.

Tolles Essen. Schmackhaft und lecker. Nette, freundliche Bedienung. Die etwas gehobenen Preise sind auf Grund der guten Qualität gerechtfertigt. Man kann draußen sitzen an einer nicht all zu befahrenen Straße. Beschränkte Parkmöglichkeiten mit Parkuhr.

Es macht immer wieder Freude, diese Klasse Pizza 🍕 zu essen.

Waren hier 2 mal im Urlaub zum Essen. Jedes mal grandios. Man sitzt hier sehr schön draußen am Platz. Das Essen ist lecker, der Pizzateig vegan. Wartezeit ohne Reservierung kann aber schon mal bis zu 20 min sein - ist es aber wert.

Ventilatoren wären vielleicht ganz gut bei 33+ Grad
