Delicious pizza. Decent portion

Food good, but not child friendly. I asked for a handful of cooked gnocchi without salt for my 11 month old baby. I got incredibly salty gnocchi with vegetable broth that cost 13.90 euros (for a baby!?). Those were the most expensive 5 gnocchis (that's all a baby can eat) of my life... In addition, part of the belt on the high chair (which was very dirty, but I understand that) was missing, so you couldn't strap the baby in. There was no way to change the baby, not even a fold-out changing table in the washrooms (there wouldn't be enough space...). The food was otherwise good. Rolls would be nice with the salads or lasagna. Service OK. Ambience a bit loud, but otherwise okay. Unfortunately, based on my experience with a baby, I probably wouldn't come again. Too bad.

The starters are placed on the table together with the main course - rather than being served. The vitello tonnato is a disgrace to anyone who loves the dish. Gambias for €13 that couldn't be peeled - fresh?? The atmosphere inside is really beautiful and the shop has a lot of potential - unfortunately the service is not only not good at their job and also unfriendly. Okay for a quick snack (also not good but portable) but if you want to enjoy Italian cuisine in a seriously relaxed manner, this is the wrong place.

We were in a rush and the waiters were kind enough to accommodate us anyways.

Unfortunately there were a few things to complain about yesterday, first I was given a table (for 5 people as ordered) that wasn't cleared away, then it took 10 minutes for her to clear away the glasses from the previous person and only after repeated requests was it taken passed over the rag. Then it took over half an hour until we were able to order, the main course came before the starter and much more. Yesterday there was chaos there. Maybe I'll give it another chance, I'm still thinking about it

We usually enjoy eating here often, but today we had a very bad experience in terms of service. The waitress, who initially ignored us for 20 minutes, took our order after we called her over. Another waiter brought the pizza and we immediately noticed that it wasn't the pizza we had ordered. He responded very friendly and took the pizza inside. A few minutes later the waitress who took our order incorrectly came storming out again with the wrong pizza and wanted to intimidate us and blame us for her mistake. Unfortunately we had to leave because we cannot accept such treatment. We think it's a shame that she couldn't just ask us politely what went wrong, but instead became really rude and almost aggressive.

We had a separate room with glass windows at the back for our group of girls. It's nice to sit there but the room needs more ventilation, it got really stuffy after a short time - but it wasn't as loud as the surrounding area. The employee with dark, long braided hair was really very friendly and took nice photos of us when we asked, thank you very much for that 🫶🏻 The food and drink was very tasty for each of us. My pizza primo amore was really so delicious 😍

At the beginning of our stay everything was great. Our food also came quickly, but the spaghetti carbonara was way too salty and unfortunately we couldn't eat it at all. When we mentioned this to the waiter, he didn't understand what we meant and called his boss. But he didn't speak to us very nicely and said that it wasn't the kitchen's fault. We understand that spaghetti carbonara is a little saltier than other dishes, but it wasn't edible at all :/ The food and the atmosphere were good but the service wasn't so good :(

Unfortunately, the Cabonara was more than just too salty. The response to the criticism was very negative and rude. I can't recommend it

We were in a large group and the restaurant was busy and yet our food and drink requests were quickly accommodated and delivered just as quickly. I have been a customer several times and the food is delicious, slightly above average. However, the service is a complete disaster. Little competence, don't answer the phone and often had the impression that you were treated very unfriendly on the phone. Nevertheless, it is enough to be able to eat the pizza deliciously.

Pizza with prawns for €16.50. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio is no longer right. The quality of the food has deteriorated extremely. But unfortunately the worst thing is the service. You wait a really long time for your drinks and are cleverly ignored when the glasses are empty. You feel anything but welcome. It's a shame, we used to enjoy being there, but unfortunately not anymore.

Stale beer, frozen mushrooms as an ingredient that were unprofessionally prepared and therefore too spongy and tough, carbonara not real carbonara (cream in it), high prices, staff untrained and unprofessional (couldn't give us any information about ingredients and allergen information), ONE ONLY vegan dish (normal standard salad), not receptive to legitimate criticism. Overall, more than disappointing and I absolutely don't understand where all the good reviews come from.

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. The waiting times were extremely long, even though we had reserved, after half an hour of waiting we left. We were held off for a long time, and at some point it became too long for us. It's a shame that you can't rely on getting a table despite having a reservation.

I actually didn't want to write this review, but I can't let something like that sit there. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait at the door for 35 minutes. With our group of 19 people, we had to wait far too long for our food and drinks. The pizzas were soggy and no longer warm. Our visit was a complete disappointment!

Secure! Here is a humorous but bad review for the Remus restaurant in Koblenz: A culinary adventure of a special kind Oh, Remus in Koblenz, what an experience! If I had to compare it to an adventure, it would be like riding a roller coaster and realizing you're not wearing a seatbelt and the car has no brakes. First about the ambience: you immediately feel like you are in a time machine that has catapulted you into the 80s. The decoration has probably already seen the fall of the Berlin Wall, and the chairs creak so much that you think they could fall apart at any time. The service was… well, let’s say “innovative”. Our waiter was either in a competition to see who could walk the slowest or was secretly a ninja who kept disappearing. Drinks arrived with a delay usually only seen in German public transport, and food came sometime after we were already busy eating the table decorations.

Unfortunately, nothing is right in this “restaurant”, service is subpar. We have reserved a table. You are put off and you only have to wait 2 minutes. After waiting for countless minutes in the cold wind of the Koblenz night, we knew that unfortunately we wouldn't be able to eat anything else here that evening. Impossible!

Where do we go when the most basic rules of the service are no longer adhered to? What happens if you base your entire evening on the fact that a certain table is available at a certain time?....here in this restaurant you are completely let down in this regard....unfortunately, 1 star is still too much.

Reserved a table and just didn't get it

My salmon and shrimp salad was delicious and fresh. Unfortunately the sauce wasn't homemade. The dessert was good, but too expensive for the portion.

The food was very tasty, unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. We waited over 10 minutes for a menu and then for the bill. Food could have been a little warmer.

I actually liked the Remos on my previous visit, everything was great even though there was a lot going on, I can't confirm that on my visit today, there was relatively little going on but the service staff were probably more busy with other things than with the guests. We had to point out several times that we would like to have tickets and also that we would like to order, sometimes the service was very clear when we drew attention to ourselves, which I personally find unacceptable.

Had something to eat during the lunch break. The service was quick and friendly. The pizzas are very tasty, original Italian Neapolitan pizza, and huge. I took half home with me. Put it in the oven for a moment. My husband was happy 🥰 I can only recommend it and we would love to come back.

Nicely decorated restaurant with lots of choice! There could be a few more vegetarian pasta dishes but I can still highly recommend the Linguine al Pesto! The pizzas are huge and reasonably priced for the size!

The food was okay. The drinking wasn't so good. Wildberry Lilet was almost exclusively alcoholic. And there was alcohol in the non-alcoholic banana wheat. The conditions constantly ignored you.

Went here with 9 colleagues. There was room. And man, what large and delicious pizzas. I understand why my colleagues make a detour for this every time.

We ate pizza, tasted very good, huge size, thin base. Onions additionally for €1.50. Staff friendly. Because it was full, the volume was a bit high. But we'll definitely be back.

Very large pizzas for a fair price. Unfortunately, however, there is very, very little coating. I had a vegetarian pizza with baked vegetables, but there were maybe 5 pieces of vegetables and the rest was arugula. So there is more dough than topping, which I think is a shame because the taste is excellent.

Never again. The service was super bad. We waited a solid 15 minutes before we were even noticed. Waiters often pass us by. The card was carelessly thrown away and time passed again before you could order. Pure disaster. The food, yes what can I say, I can eat it at home too! Ambience terrible. Far too loud and where we wanted to sit we were chased away and not in a nice tone. So never again for me! Not worth a single star for me.

The food was OK, but nothing exceptional. However, the service was subpar. Waited 20 minutes for a drink and then got the wrong one, then waited another 15 minutes for the new one. Unfortunately this drink was warm. You would want a little bread with the salad, but it wasn't available here. But what there were were completely exorbitant prices. But the service alone was enough to make us not come back

Actually always satisfied, I ordered a beer, 20 minutes later my friends were brought food. Told the waiter that I had been waiting for my beer for a while. He just looked at me and left. 10 minutes later there was still no drink. I then had to tell a third waitress again that I had been waiting 30 minutes for a beer. There wasn't that much going on.

I was there at 12pm. In front of the restaurant there are many tables for 2 people and 4 people. The young staff was very nice and quickly at my table. I ordered a Pizza Imperiale from the extensive menu. The food is prepared in the restaurant and you can watch. There were many guests in attendance and many orders to take home. The pizza was very large. She reached over the edge. The pizza tasted excellent and the beef strips were nice and medium. A fresh beer on tap. Very good. For me the best pizza I've had in a long time. An insider tip.

Wir kennen das Restaurant und holen dort öfters Essen ab. An dem Tag wollten wir draußen essen und setzten uns. Es dauerte lange, bis ein Kellner kam. Als dann jemand kam, entschlossen wir uns, das Essen zum Mitnehmen zu bestellen, da es doch zu frisch draußen war. Wir bestellten, die Kellnerin kassierte auch gleich ab, und leider gab ich direkt 4€ Trinkgeld. Wir warteten und warteten und warteten, die Kellner kamen zusammen raus und hielten ein Schwätzchen, sahen uns auch, ohne Essen, aber reagierten nicht. Als wir dann reingingen um zu fragen, stellte sich heraus, dass das Essen schon lange fertig war! Und fast kalt. Keine schöne Erfahrung. Das Essen war dann gut, nachdem wir es aufgewärmt hatten.

Very disappointing experience here. The pizza I had was delicious and massive! But the service was not great, and coming from a hospitality background myself I was unimpressed. We asked if we could pay separately but were told we couldn’t - that’s fine however we saw them let a group of 8 women all pay separately just before us! - and there were only 3 of us. After I ordered, I immediately changed my mind and went after the waitress who said it was too late to change my order which given the speed at which I told her felt a bit unfair. I could understand both of these incidents if the restaurant had been super busy, but it wasn’t at all. Great food but shame about the staff and atmosphere, really put a downer on us and made us feel unwelcome. We thought maybe because we were foreigners they treated us like that? I don’t know!

Remos Review Koblenz, Germany I ate here on the 26 Apr 2024 for dinner with my wife, her son, and his girlfriend. Remos is located at Bahnhofplatz 5, 56068 Koblenz (Gegenüber des Hbf. Koblenz). Remos has 4 other locations: Frankfurt, Köln, Wiesbaden, and Westerwald. + We were greeted as we entered the Restaurant and directed to our reserved table. Waiting time to be seated was 0 minutes. - Waiting time to order: 10 minutes. Because it took about 5 minutes before we had the menu. +/- Restaurant staff was OK but not really friendly. +/-- We ordered and it took only about 15 minutes before our food arrived. However, while the drinks came before the rest, the rest came all at once. -- The pizza bread, our salad, and our Entrées. Normally, one should serve the cold salad first and then the hot Entrées, so that the Entrées don’t get cold while one is eating the salad. Plus, there was no room for all the plates on the table at the same time. It made it difficult to eat with all the dishes on the table at once. - The lights hung down very low and not always over tables and often between the tables requiring one to bend way over in order not to hit the light with their head while sliding into ones seat. + Lemon slice in water glass ++ Paper Straw in long drink + On the table before the food arrived were olive oil, basilikum, salt and pepper. + Staff had uniforms and looked professional + Order taker did not introduce himself. - Menu was different than on their Internet Page. - Menu items are not numbered, which could make it difficult for non-German speakers coming by train to place an order (especially for a restaurant located across from the train station). - This Restaurant has two drink menus, which is confusing. There is an abridged version of the drink menu on the table as we arrived but the complete drink menu was on the back of the food menu, which we didn’t receive right away and had to ask for. - My wife and I shared a salad. - Salad did not come before the Entrée but at the same time as the Entrées and pizza bread. +/- I received a knife, fork and a paper napkin (+ I prefer paper over cloth napkins) but no spoon. - One would think when ordering pasta that one would automatically receive a spoon, but I had to ask for one. I had to ask for a lot that wasn’t provided the first time. + My order was served as ordered. We ordered a big bottle of water and 4 glasses, it came as ordered. - Menu: We ordered a salad with chicken to share and I ordered the lasagna. The salad and lasagna were delicious, but portions were smaller compared to the price. - Prices are a little higher than normal compared to the portions. For 4 persons we gave out about 40 Euro more than at other Italian Restaurants, I have been at recently. + Hygiene: Restaurant was clean. - If you order a pizza, it comes on a plate that is smaller than the pizza. This may be trendy, but unpractical since it makes it hard to cut and eat the pizza. - Parking: This restaurant has no parking lot. Parking is limited to spaces on the street. If you cannot find a parking space on the street then tough luck. If you do find a parking space you will have to pay to park. I saw only one disabled parking spaces but it was about 50 meters away. + Also, since this restaurant is on the ground floor, it is possible for the disabled to access the restaurant. - However, some of the aisles between the tables are tight especially for a wheelchair. Every time I just reached in my pocket, my elbow was stuck by one of the waiters / waitresses or a passerby each time. +/- The Bathrooms: Did not use and cannot report on. +/- Wi-Fi: Did not use and cannot report on. + Environment: Here I did receive ice and a slice lemon in my drink. ++ My partner received a paper straw in her drink. -- Too Loud! Inside the restaurant it was so loud that I could hardly hear what anyone at my table said. It is too bad that the Restaurant doesn’t have a hanging ceiling with acoustic tiles to absorb the noise. - Internet Site: When I searched for Remos Koblenz, I found the Remos Internet Site and then had to choose Koblenz again and then when I wanted to see the Menu, I again have to choose Koblenz to get to the Menu. - The Food Menu is not modular. That means one cannot pick any pasta and then any sauce. E.g. Spaghetti comes either with agloi e olio, Carbonara Sauce, or Frutti di Mar, not Tomato Sauce or Bolognese. Salads come with fruits but the fruits are not listed on the menu and when if I want a fruit salad, I would order a fruit salad! - No Drink Menu posted. - Remos Internet page is completely in German only. Not in English or any other language, so for foreigners coming to Koblenz by train and want to eat at Remos, ordering might be difficult (especially for a restaurant located across from the train station). - I found the prices too high compared to the portions, the restaurant too loud to enjoy any conversation and that the order was served in the wrong order and all at once, most likely we will not be back again.

Booked a table in the separate room for a business meeting on Friday at 7 p.m. When we arrived there were other people sitting there and the waitress wanted to show us to a table in the middle. A young waiter came over and said it was his fault but didn't apologize. No solution was offered and we were left without a table for a business lunch at 7pm on Friday evening.

I decided to have lunch here, waiting for my train at the station opposite. I enjoyed the spaghetti fruit de mare,without garlic and chocolate volcano cake.I had a diet coke and the bill came to €20.30.

A great pizzeria where you can get a very large pizza for a good price. The staff always tries to remain friendly despite all the stress, which some succeed more and others less. The pasta could have used a little more noodles, but the taste was very good. The toilets were very clean and friendly. All in all, this pizzaria is highly recommended

Description of a somewhat strange experience. I get a table and a card and 10 seconds later service wants to take my order. Strict look after I ask for more time. Order “Pizza Tonno” and ask for extra capers and anchovies. Service looks at me confused and asks again. I repeat slowly. Service takes order. 2 minutes later, second service, asks again with apology what extra I would like on my Tonno. I repeat again slowly and twice. Guess what came - Tonno without any extras. I eat what I get and am surprised that you either don't know what capers and anchovies are, even though other pizzas have them on them, or you can't order any extras - why no information?

The fact that the oversized pizzas don't fit on the plates always makes eating very awkward. Nice atmosphere and it always tastes good. You only ever get one drink and then there is no service. The fact that you have to wait at least half an hour or more every time to be able to pay is the reason to give fewer points now, because that's really annoying. The reservations on the phone are generally made by people who only understand limited German and you never know whether the reservation went well.

Service nimmt Bestellung auf. 2 Minuten später, zweite Service, fragt nochmals mit Entschuldigung was ich auf meine Tonno extra haben möchte. Ich wiederhole wieder langsam und zweimal. Ratet mal was kam - Tonno ohne Extras. Ich esse was ich bekomme und bin überrascht, dass man entweder nicht weiß was Kapern und Sardellen sind, obwohl bei anderer Pizza drauf, oder man kann keine Extras bestellen -warum keine Info?

Very decent portions and fair prices. Unfortunately, there is currently no vegan cheese alternative, so vegan food is only possible to a limited extent. But the pizza, topped with vegetables but without cheese, was also very decent!

Remos is known for its sumptuous pizzas. But I like the pasta dishes here even more. Linguine al pesto, my favorite. And a homemade elderberry mint lemonade. Perfect! :)

Came with low expectations, as with any Italian restaurants outside Italy. Ordered two pizzas. They are HUGE. One pizza can be for 3 people! They are also VERY VERY delicious Italian pizzas—about 50cm in diameter. Didn’t pay attention to the menu lol. The prize is unjustifiable: how come pizza that big and delicious is only at a price of McDonalds meals in some European countries.

If you want to eat comfortably and in peace, you shouldn't come here. It was not possible to have a conversation with the other person. Ambience of the station hall. I actually wanted to eat a pizza because of the positive reviews, but after I saw the black remains cut off at the next table, I lost the desire. So I ordered pasta with chicken and porcini mushrooms. The sauce tasted good, the porcini mushrooms were thawed and watery. The quantity overall was rather modest, so we weren't full. We wouldn't come back.

My little sister slipped on a lemon that was lying on the floor and after several comments from us it was not removed but ignored.
