Ristorante Pizzeria La Casetta in Hamm

Over the weekend, we had a rather unusual experience on the phone. Our polite request to add one more person to our existing table reservation for five was flatly refused due to lack of space. Instead, we were told to call back within five minutes to confirm whether we would be a party of five or not at all. On our first attempt to let them know we would remain at five, no one answered. On our second attempt, we were curtly informed that the table had been given to someone else because we hadn't adhered to the allotted time. All of this was delivered in an extremely rude, not to say outrageous, tone. Well, it seems the current business climate is such that a few more or less guests don't really matter. Let's hope, for the owners' sake, that it stays that way. In any case, we discovered a lovely Italian restaurant in a nearby town that we will now be visiting more often.

The food was good, but unfortunately we had to wait almost two hours for it.

The first time we ordered and picked up food, we were told we could pick it up in 30 minutes. We were there, waited another 30 minutes until the food was ready, and a whole dish was missing. Second attempt to have food delivered to our home took an hour. We were told on the phone after 1 hour and 15 minutes when we called that there was no food yet because he was already on the street. We were told the street wasn't big, okay. 40 minutes later we called again, he'd be there soon, okay. 5 minutes later he was there and told us he couldn't leave because of the rain, so he hadn't even left when we called. So there's no third attempt when you're lied to and ripped off. No, thank you, and the drive was a 5-minute drive, and we're probably not the only ones this has happened to. It's stated further down, and it's no exaggeration. THERE WAS A LIAR. The driver himself said he had just left and wasn't at the place where we called the first time.

Mr. Alsabi recommended the restaurant to me, saying it was "the best Italian restaurant in Hamm." So I decided to invite my girlfriend there for dinner. I highly recommend it. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. It was a warm, humid summer day, though. The restaurant was busy, but service was quick. I particularly liked the waiter; I haven't had such a nice waiter in a long time. I'll definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Super delicious food. I ate there for the very first time a few days ago, on the recommendation of a colleague (Mr. Alsabi, a delivery driver there). It's an absolute insider tip for me here in Hamm. The servers were incredibly attentive and polite, the food was delicious, and the restaurant itself had such a pleasant atmosphere. I immediately recommended the restaurant to my family and friends. You'll definitely see me there more often!

We ate delicious salads and pizzas. Even though it was busy, we were constantly asked about drinks and other requests. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.

The dishes on the daily menu are also highly recommended

The restaurant's ambiance is truly beautiful and inviting – you immediately feel at home. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating, which made our stay very pleasant. We had the bruschetta for starters. It tasted good, but the bread slices were a bit too thick and therefore unfortunately quite dry. The pizza for the main course, on the other hand, was excellent – ​​crispy base, fresh and high-quality ingredients, really delicious! One major drawback, however, was the long wait: almost an hour for the main course is definitely too long, especially when you're hungry. Overall, though, it's a recommended place – with some optimization of the kitchen processes, it would be almost perfect.

Highly recommended. Very good and fresh food, very friendly staff, and very clean. Both the interior and, especially, the spacious outdoor area are beautifully designed and invite you to linger.

Now that's some pizza dough. Crunchy, not too dry, Crispy, not too crumbly ...and still airy and: Delicious! Pizza toppings? Nothing to complain about here either. Absolutely well-filled (numbers 49 and 50). Service was super friendly and attentive. We really should stop by here more often. Why haven't we been here in so long?

We recently had a small family celebration with 10 people... our order, several party pizzas arrived on time, all the hot dishes were still very hot, the salads were fresh and crunchy, the pizza rolls and the aioli were more than enough for everyone. Tasty and plentiful as always, all guests were very satisfied...

The outdoor area invites you to linger, the service is courteous, polite and works quickly. The food remains world class. For me it is the best, real Italian restaurant in Hamm, and not just because of its proximity to the restaurant.

All in all, I was pleasantly surprised during my visit to the Pizzeria La Casetta. The food was consistently good and the portions were absolutely sufficient. I particularly liked the appetizer platters with their successful selection. There was nothing wrong with the taste of the main courses either. In retrospect, I have to say that my expectations were perhaps a bit too high considering the really low prices. But solid and tasty food was offered. So if you're looking for an inexpensive and good meal, Pizzeria La Casetta is in good hands.

A small, fine shop. The staff was friendly and competent and the food was very good.

The ambience was very nice now before Christmas, but the service was not good, wrong wine, the other wine would be forgotten... the steak was very good, unfortunately the pizzas were not. We had ham once...unfortunately it was very tasteless. No spice, absolutely bland. But dough was good. The other pizza was with sucuk, there were so many pickled peppers on the pizza that it just tasted sour. When the complaint was made there was only a shrug of the shoulders...no attempt to explain to the guests why the evening went so wrong. It's a shame...there won't be another visit.

We spontaneously came to the restaurant while passing through to a concert. Unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked. Nevertheless, a table for 5 was quickly prepared for us and we quickly received a very tasty starter and our pizza. The food tasted delicious. We are very grateful for the great service.

Nah, we somehow managed to burn the takeaway pizza and when I opened it the cheese stuck to the lid of the pizza box. There were only 2 of the pizza rolls...

The food was delicious. Unfortunately, the Bolognese sauce on the pizza was much too liquid. You could also look for the minced meat. Unfortunately, the service in the beer garden isn't great, it takes a long time to ask if you want something else to drink. Then it is not brought, forgotten, that can happen, but after a while employees walk by and no one cares. A pity.....

Unfortunately the food just doesn't taste enough for my/our taste. Pizza, pasta, steak, no matter what, unfortunately it just lacks that certain spice. All in all the food is okay but nothing more. Rosemary potatoes were like they had been warmed up and tasted like nothing. It was a shame. We won't be coming back after trying it several times.

Waitress took order incorrectly. A new one was then made without apology. When we paid, they suddenly asked for 9 euros because we supposedly ordered incorrectly. Since we weren't willing to pay this, the owner came and shouted insults at us, telling us that we had ordered wrong and that his waitress didn't make any mistakes. We will never enter the restaurant again, even though we were regular customers

We were looking for a good change from the slightly thicker, typically "German" pizza... Here we found a very, very tasty and, above all, thinner pizza. We'll try the noodles next time. Looking forward to it!

Cozy, small restaurant at the eco center in Heessen. When the weather is nice you can definitely sit outside. Delicious pasta dishes, there were three of us and we each had a different one. Friendly service, good parking in the evenings.

The two of us ate pizza here. There was a free appetizer beforehand and a Marsala after the meal. The pizzas tasted good and the service was very nice. Overall, it was a bit cramped inside and at our table and there was a relatively high level of noise. But we will come back.

On the phone they say to pick up, arrived a good half hour after 40 minutes, the food is far from ready, you hear it's still taking a while! I think it's a disgrace that after more than an hour the food wasn't ready to be picked up even though it was said to be a good half hour. We enjoyed eating and getting food there often and it was a shame! If you say over an hour from the beginning then that's something different... This is how you scare away good customers...

Nach früheren positiven Erfahrungen wollten wir mal wieder hierhin. Das erste Mal geschluckt haben wir beim Preis von 0,5 l Cola für 6 €. Die schwarzen Oliven beim Gruß aus der Küche waren leider gefärbt. Das Focaccia war eine ultradünne Pizza und die Tomatensauce auf den Nudeln war nichtssagend und auch sehr wenig. Der Parmesan sah aus wie aus der Tüte. Es tut mir sehr leid, aber das werden wir nicht wiederholen.

Wir gehen schon seit ca.10 Jahren nach La Casetta essen ...waren noch nie enttäuscht, es ist unser Lieblings Lokal. Was ich mir wünschen würde als Desser ist Tiramisu, den leider auf der Karte nicht gibt.

Klare Empfehlung! Wir waren bereits zwei mal dort essen und beide Male war es top.
