Restaurant fiftynine in Hamm

I had reserved a table for March 19, 2025, in February. There were 12 people. On March 19, 2025, we all found the door locked. No cancellation, nothing. I had to immediately arrange for a replacement at another restaurant. We went there once and loved the food. Now we're definitely not going back, and neither are the rest of us. Even though no one had been there before.

We had booked 2 weeks in advance for March 19th. Reserved a table for an event with around a dozen people. On the evening of March 19th We then stood with the assembled team in front of a closed door. There was just a note in the window saying that the restaurant would be closed for the week. Nobody from the restaurant canceled the appointment or otherwise contacted us beforehand. This is very bad treatment of guests.

I recently went to this “restaurant” for a buffet meal with my colleagues! The first and last time!! I can't remember a time when I've eaten such BAD food!! Frozen goods and ready-made sauces are very important here!! The schnitzels were made from pressed meat! The vegetables were hard! The old, completely brown lettuce was covered by an inedible dressing. I didn't even eat this to avoid germs! The fries were rock hard! The bag of champion cream sauce was “refined” with a kilo of salt that tasted like it did for me! Complete garlic cloves were simply mixed into the pasta casserole made with chewy cheese! Unbelievable!! For that price I could have ordered a delicious fillet of beef with delicious side dishes á la carte! Even today, when I think about that disaster meal, I feel a sickness that I had that evening anyway!! Unfortunately, in order to submit this review I have to give it one star, which is in no way justified!

We have always been satisfied customers, but something always went wrong the last few times. The food is sometimes tasty and sometimes not at all, the fried potatoes are always a surprise, unfortunately only the last 4 times were not good at all, not seasoned, no bacon, no onions and recently with peel. The schnitzel was okay, but the special request was not taken into account. The pasta in cream sauce was in cream, but without any real sauce. And unfortunately they were rather tasteless. The fries were good. We were always loyal customers but now you have the feeling that you have to be lucky which chef is there at the time. It's a shame about the nice money. Unfortunately we will not be ordering any more.

Food arrived warm, but our extras were not taken into account. There really wasn't enough sauce in the dishes and both pasta and fried potatoes had no spices. Just cooked and packed. It's a shame, it was much better in the beginning.

We celebrated a great birthday today at fifty nine. It was delicious and we would love to come back!!

Everything was fine. Very friendly staff, good kitchen. We had time to spare and looked for a restaurant that was open before 5 p.m. We would be warmly welcomed and served. Price performance was great. Highly recommended.

We were there for the buffet today on the 2nd Christmas holiday. First of all, thank you very much again for being able to get a table for 8 people at such short notice because another restaurant moved us. The food tasted really good and was delicious. It was refilled quickly and nothing was overcooked or dry. The service was also very courteous, quick and, above all, EVERYONE was very, very friendly. You felt very welcome. We will be happy to come back. Keep it up!!!

Christmas buffet didn't look tasty. Not a big selection. 1 salad, no soup and meat that was definitely cold. And for such a price

A bit hidden, but in a very nice location! Huge selection! Everything freshly prepared and no frozen! I'm totally thrilled! Topped again today for Christmas! A big compliment to the kitchen and the great service! No wish was left unconsidered! I think we have found a new local after a long search!

Our Christmas party at FiftyNine was simply lovely, the staff put a lot of effort into it, I felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back

We had food delivered from the restaurant for the first time today. We are really impressed with the quality and taste. We had 2 schnitzels (Fiftynine + Hollandais) each with fried potatoes. The price is absolutely reasonable. The taste is really great.

We could look directly into the tennis hall from our table. Since there wasn't much going on, the service was probably a bit bored and was at the table more often than necessary. The food was really good. We'll be back.

We ordered food via delivery today. We were more than disappointed. My husband had a colorful salad with strips of beef. The portion was as big as a side salad and the beef strips were full of tendons that you could hardly chew, but you paid a whopping 15 euros for it. I had a schnitzel with hollandaise, the portion size was good, however the sauce is not supplied separately, so the schnitzel was very soggy. The Cowl Slaw Salad that was included unfortunately leaked in the bag and didn't make unpacking it a pleasant experience. The taste of it wasn't good either. Delivery time for 2 simple dishes took 80 minutes, which is already a long time. It's a shame, we won't be ordering there anymore.

Lonely peak 🤩 We wanted to try something new and came across this restaurant via Lieferando. So I ordered straight away, but in order to get to know the place I didn't have it delivered but ordered it for collection. When we arrived at the spa park we were already expected. A very pleasant atmosphere made the 3 minute waiting time in the outdoor area fly by. It is very commendable to mention that we were invited for a drink on the house. After a short and friendly conversation with the staff, the food was ready in no time. When we got home, our expectations were of course correspondingly high. What should we say? Expectations were absolutely exceeded. The schnitzels were not frozen goods but fresh and tasted simply great 👍🏻 The side dishes (fried potatoes and rice) were perfect and the hollandaise sauce and the salad were also very good. The quantity is also outstanding. All in all, we will dine there more often from now on, including directly on site. There is a small playground there that also offers all sorts of things for children.

The food was really incredibly tasty and of really good quality. Had an average delivery time of approximately one hour. The food arrived still warm. After calling about an incorrect side dish, we were immediately met in a very friendly manner, prepared the correct one for us and delivered it within 10 minutes. Friendly staff, friendly boss and polite/sympathetic approach to customers. Gladly again 🙌🏼

An excellent restaurant with beautiful decor, attractive aesthetics, friendly staff and even good delivery service! The selection of dishes is fantastic and very good in terms of quality and taste. We ordered via Lieferando, the delivery was very quick and according to the specified time. The taste was also absolutely great. I can't say anything about the ambience since we didn't eat there. But we would be happy to order again.

I recently had the opportunity to try out the takeaway and overall I was very pleased! Although the wait was a little longer, it was definitely worth the wait. The food was excellent and the value for money was unbeatable. Particularly noteworthy are the fresh ingredients and the careful preparation of the dishes, which tasted really delicious and authentic. Another big plus is the snack bar's delivery service. Despite the long wait, the food was delivered hot and fresh. The delivery service is a great option if you want to bridge the waiting time at home. The friendly service and excellent service round off the positive experience. I can highly recommend this snack bar to anyone who appreciates delicious food at fair prices and is willing to be patient. I will definitely order again!

Was here for the first time and I will come again.

We went there for the first time today to eat schnitzel. The food was very good, the salad was crispy and had a good dressing. There were two schnitzels on the plate, the fries on another plate, which I thought was good. The waitress was very nice and asked if he should pack up the rest.

We ordered there last week and it was a failure. After we reported the defects, the boss called us directly the next day and asked for a second chance, which we accepted and didn't regret. This time the schnitzels were great, the side dish was great. Everything is still super warm! Sauces almost hot. Just for reporting and standing up for it, I take my hat off! See you next time! Had the schnitzel hollandaise (chicken 2 pieces) and got both almost completely raw. Very annoying if you wait 2.5 hours. In addition, the food was completely cold, my husband's Champion sauce was like water, and all the oil had leaked out of the fried potatoes. The last time for us!

I ordered for the first time today and will order again. The food was delivered on time at the stated delivery time. 1 star deducted because the fries were limp but I think the fries taste crispy on site sometimes that's the case when you get fries delivered. The schnitzel was super tasty and the sauce was just amazing, really fresh and tasty, and there was also a salad. I will happily order here again.

Great service and some good offers

Despite the full house, we were offered a clean table in a very short time. The drinks were at the table in no time and the predicted wait time for the food was beaten. The quality is top and the taste is in no way inferior. The staff is friendly and attentive. A clear recommendation for us.

Sehr schön, im Grünen, nah dem Kanal, gelegenes Vereins-Lokal; für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich. Günstige Speisen und Getränke in gepflegter Atmosphäre im Lokal oder auf der Aussenterrasse mit Blick auf die Tennisplätze. Sehr freundliches Personal und eine angenehme, familiäre Atmosphäre. Die Speisekarte ist nicht überfrachtet und macht einen guten Eindruck. Wir haben bisher aber nur etwas getrunken; Update: Inzwischen mehrmals hervorragend gegessen. Es gilt weiterhin die kleine, aber feine, gut gefächerte Speisekarte. Interessant gewählte Vorspeisen, Kleinigkeiten, Hauptspeisen und Desserts zu absolut angemessenen Preisen. Aktuell trotz personellem 'Totalausfall' und gut besuchter Gaststätte, super 'gerockt'. Wartezeiten waren nicht zu lang und der Service herzlich und professionell. Echt Empfehlenswert.

We were here for the first time for the Christmas buffet and were not disappointed. Without exception, everyone was warm and accommodating. The food was the best we've had in a long time. Roast pork and beef, fish, shredded poultry, mashed potatoes, dumplings, rice, red cabbage. Everything was cooked with a lot of love and not just warmed up from any bag. And the sauce for the roast, simply heavenly. This is what I call Christmas dinner. It was like being at home. For dessert there was pudding, cake and someone else was there baking fresh waffles. An absolutely successful Christmas buffet. Many thanks to the chef who conjured this up and to everyone who made our Christmas Eve so much sweeter. We are guaranteed to come back and would love to.

Moin, wir haben hier in größerer Runde gefeiert. Das Essen war in Ordnung ...nachdem es kam. Leider gab es KEINEN Rotwein, Eiswürfelknappheit herrschte den ganzen Abend. Die Servicekräfte waren nett, jedoch mit den Getränkebestellungen [Essen gab es in Buffetform] häufig überfordert. Der Raum ist jedoch zum Feiern sehr geeignet und Parkplätze gab es genug.

Die Speisekarte hält mehr als sie verspricht. Wir hatten letzten Sonntag das Paprikaschnitzel gewählt und wurden sehr positiv überrascht. Große Portionen (2 Schnitzel auf jedem Teller), leckerer Salatteller, schmackhafte Bratkartoffeln und super Pommes. Sollte man auf jeden Fall probieren. Wir sind gleich wieder vor Ort.

War dort mit meiner Freundin zum ersten Mal essen, schon der erste Eindruck des Ladens lädt ein um sich wohl zu fühlen, das Essen war erste klasse, Sie hatte Lachs und Gambas und ich Bruscetta und Pasta. Beides war mehr als Tadellos. dort Essen immer wieder gern ❤️

Ein ganz großartiges Lokal - hier passt einfach alles! Die Besitzer und Servicekräfte sind unfassbar nett und zuvorkommend und heißen einen direkt Willkommen. Das Essen ist wirklich fantastisch. Wir haben sowohl Schnitzel, als auch Nudeln und Vorspeisen gegessen. Es war alles frisch und unfassbar lecker! Bei gutem Wetter gibt es eine schöne Terrasse. Ich kann das Restaurant nur jedem empfehlen der in der Nähe ist!

Essen sehr lecker, ich war 2 mal dort zum Essen und habe dasselbe bestellt, aber es hat total unterschiedlich geschmeckt. Fand ich etwas komisch, einmal hat es super geschmeckt und einmal so naja könnte besser sein.

War enttäuscht, Kaffee war lau warm und auf ein Bier habe ich eine halbe Stunde gewartet. Und um Null Uhr war unsere Feier beendet, weil wir gehen mussten. Man könnte meinen die wollten kein Geld verdienen. 😡

Waren gestern zum 1.Mal dort . Ist schön gelegen, war nicht total überlaufen. Junges, neues, Unternehmen. Anfänglich wurde kurz "vergessen " die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Essen war aber absolut in Ordnung. Einen Ramazzotti gab es als Wiedergutmachung. Ich würde auf alle Fälle nochmal dort einkehren.

Really great atmosphere, service and people! Very friendly. We stumbled upon this place while on a holiday trip, and we really enjoyed having dinner here with 6 people. Menu / cart was good, lots of Italian options. Can recommend the antipasti platter as well as the spaghetti gamba for those who like spicy pastas.

Ein sehr schöne Anlage, mit tollen Gastgeber. Das Restaurant wird mit viel Liebe von Micha und seine Familie geführt. Der Service ist wirklich sehr gut und ist ein absoluter Geheimtip in Hamm. Nicht nur für Tennisspieler - wer gerne ein leckeres Schnitzel essen mag ist hier richtig.

Wir waren hier zum Weihnachtsbuffet. Dies bestand aus traditioneller deutscher Küche mit italienischen Vorspeisen. Das Essen war 1A, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man bot uns sogar an, extra zu kochen, falls wir mit unseren Allergien nicht zurechtkämen. Die Gaststätte ist neu renoviert, hell und geräumig, dazu behindertengerecht mit Rampe und Behindertentoilette. Bei schönem Wetter kann man auch gut draußen sitzen. Ich bin absolut begeistert und werde gerne wiederkommen.
