Absolutely wonderful set up, design and food.

It took less than 7 minutes and the pizza was ready. It was delicious, highly recommended.

The service is so bad, waiters being rude and they are ignoring the whole time. i waited for 40 minutes just for pasta. And it wasn’t that nice … i loved only the restaurant

We spontaneously dropped in last night. The atmosphere in the courtyard and the food itself were really good and highly recommended. Unfortunately, the service wasn't up to par. The staff weren't generally unfriendly, but they were genuinely unmotivated. You got the feeling they just wanted all the guests to leave quickly and call it a night.

Lovely atmospheric and authentic restaurant in the centre of Berlin… despite the fact that we were a group of 12 people we got fast and personal service! The atmosphere was really very good because it is located on a closed square with an almost Italian atmosphere! Definitely recommended if you want good Italian food in Berlin!

The restaurant is located in a quiet courtyard of the renovated Hekman Courtyards, and there is also outdoor seating. The pizza was perfectly cooked and made with fresh ingredients. The service was very attentive.

The food was okay, but the service was awful and arrogant. We waited 30 minutes for the bill, and the waiter didn't even bother to apologize. Save your money elsewhere; there are nicer Italian restaurants in the area.

Friendly welcome, okay food—moderate portions for the price. A very nice atmosphere, unfortunately ruined by the waiter who brought the food and emptied it. The salad I ordered nearby never arrived, and when asked to pay with a card, they said, "Come in!" and not "please come for etc." A shame.

The pasta is very rich, authentic Italian food and exceptional service.

We were a table of 6 people and shared every dish to have a taste. Pizza and pasta were pretty good. Lasagna was the worst that I have ever eaten; obviously a ready made with almost no meat. Carpaccio and bruschetta were less then avarage. There is not a cheap house wine option. The cheapest wine bottle is 36,99 which is a lot for a house wine.

The ambiance is breathtaking—we discovered it by chance and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food was truly delicious, and the service was extremely attentive and courteous.

A great idea suggested by the Routard Guide. A restaurant located in a pleasant, leafy interior courtyard, sheltered from street noise. The terrace atmosphere is very pleasant, and with this excellent Italian cuisine menu, you'd almost think you were in Tuscany. Original and delicious!

Good food, fast service and the restaurant is in a nice place! We found €7 for a bottle of water expensive and if you don't tip, the staff suddenly becomes less friendly. We personally found that a shame. Otherwise great!

A very atmospheric place with polite service. Unfortunately, the food was average. Pizza ok. But my Lasagne was dry and cold inside. After additional heating (instead of giving me a new one), it was literally baked hard.

Went to Berlin last weekend and had an early dinner here. It's a beautiful place. In a kind of courtyard. We were 10 people and it went great. We were in a bit of a hurry because we had to go to a concert, so it was quite exciting to see if everything would turn out well, but it went great. The pizzas were delicious, the starter was also delicious, a few planks with Italian meats, olives, etc. delicious. Finally, coffee with limoncello. Recommended for anyone who wants to eat Italian in Berlin :-)

The Ristorante Garda is located in a beautiful courtyard. Here you can forget for a moment that you are in a big city in a cozy atmosphere. Pasta and vino were a delight, the service was very nice. Even though there was a lot going on, everything went really quickly.

Wir sind durch das Viertel und die diversen Höfe geschlendert und haben dabei diese Pizzeria entdeckt. Spontan einen Platz bekommen und dann einfach nur genießen. Die Wartezeit auf die frischen Pizzen vergeht schnell und lohnt sich. Die Pizzen waren einsame Spitze. Der Service sehr gut. Die Preise sind etwas höher aber für diese Qualität passend

The pizza was good, solidly made and tasty, but not a culinary highlight. The service was average, friendly but rather reserved. Overall, a nice place for a relaxing evening but you can certainly find something more interesting in the area.

The restaurant has real Italian food to the same standard as you would get in Italy. The service is also very good, they were patient with us. And the overall atmosphere was very nice, it's in a nice spot with a pretty view outside. Tip: the Tiramisu was really good

A really great place to enjoy Italian cuisine. The food tastes very good and the staff is attentive and very friendly. A more friendly relationship with the waiter makes a visit to a restaurant something special. So you can taste the good quality of the food as well as the love that goes into it. It's really very pleasant on the terrace, a hidden courtyard in the heart of Berlin. Really very beautiful. And so close to all the great places in Berlin. The farm is also perfect for families, the children can play in peace while we can enjoy the beautiful atmosphere and the great food. Thank you very much for the evening, I will definitely come back.

I'm not an expert on Italian food, but I had the best lasagna here and the pizzas were very good. Everything else was equally very good.

I really like the Garda restaurant! I love the friendly and attentive staff, and the dishes are simply incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and every visit leaves only positive impressions. I'll definitely be back!

The very nice and cozy place in a square in the Mitte neighborhood. Very good Italian food. One day we got a pizza to take away and the next day we had dinner there and everything was great. Also very nice, kind and friendly. Place that we will remember.

I spent a lovely evening in the busy Ristorante Garda. The two of us sat at the window next to a group of over 20 people - it got loud, but not unpleasant. After briefly asking, we were able to easily exchange the deep patio chairs on which we initially sat for standard upholstered chairs in order to sit more comfortably at the table. And the most important thing: My Pizza Napoletana "Palermo" with a soft, thin base, high edges, anchovies and red onions was really, really tasty. It's a beautiful location - I imagine the terrace is particularly beautiful in summer! I'll definitely be back in the summer!

Pizza Palermo, about 15 euros: Well, maybe this dish was "authentic", and I have no idea what you get when you order pizza in Sicily. For my wife and I, the pizza was very disappointing: within a thick bead of dough, a very, very thin dough, which was also sparingly topped. The dough should probably be thin, but you could probably see through it. And as a result, this thin center of dough on the plate, which was probably not preheated, got cold pretty quickly.

We went to this restaurant yesterday afternoon to have something to eat. We ordered carpaccio and a tuna pizza. The carpaccio was OK, but I wasn't happy with the pizza dough; the dough was soft and not tasty. The location of the restaurant is nice and the place was clean. However, I have to say that the employees seemed very uninterested. Although the restaurant was empty, the service could have been better.

Bruschetta was very delicious, bread and ingredients were very fresh. I chose salami as pizza, but I was not satisfied with the dough. Lasagna was also pretty runny, I've had better ones, but the atmosphere was very cute.

Wow wow wow Were visiting Berlin and were looking for a pasta restaurant. As if it were fate, we came to Pizzaria Garda. An absolute experience from reception to payment! Every waiter is personable, humorous and incredibly friendly! The pasta, the tastiest thing I have ever eaten in my life!!! During the 10 minutes while I was eating, I can't count on eight hands how many times I said "wow"! I had a Pinot Grigio with it, a unique taste experience! The waiting time was incredibly surprisingly short! The drinks arrived about 4 minutes later and the food arrived relatively shortly afterwards. So you definitely won't stay hungry for long! The Tagliolini Garda, an absolute masterpiece Just like the Pizza Funghi! A little more hidden, but both in front of the restaurant and inside, an absolute oasis of well-being. Especially the fairy lights in the yard immediately give you a super safe and cozy feeling! The restaurant makes you feel like you are actually in a beautiful side street in Italy. On the whole, if it weren't almost 400km away from home I would be an absolute permanent guest! So an ABSOLUTE insider tip for a wonderful Italian experience!!!! An absolute recommendation with heart and soul!

We were guests as part of a BPA trip. I liked the ambience and the friendly welcome. Unfortunately, the food didn't convince me because it didn't suit my taste. There was penne in a bland vegetable sauce. All the meat eaters in the group were hoping for a nice bolognese or lasagne and were bitterly disappointed. The dessert wasn't any better either. A scoop of vanilla ice cream without anything, served in a cheap plastic cup. Sorry Team Garda, unfortunately that was nothing. The stars are for the still very nice service.

Difficult path, great restaurant! We were very surprised to spontaneously get a table. The pizza was incredibly tasty and very classic. You would have loved to eat more of them. Really highly recommended! The service was very present, you could have passed on your concerns directly. The only unfortunate thing is the way there. As a village tramp, the city is already "exciting" but we initially went up and down the street several times because we couldn't find the entrance to the inner courtyard. Unfortunately, Google Maps didn't even begin to help us except for the tram stop. Ultimately we had to call the restaurant again and ask for directions because an oncoming police officer didn't want to answer our stupid question. The gentleman from the restaurant explained it to us very well, we finally arrived and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere around the restaurant. Everything is very comfortable, from now on you know where to go
