We celebrated a fantastic 80th birthday here - many thanks to the wonderful team! The meal was enjoyed very much: a special recommendation is the veal with the Primitivo. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back!

5 stars – an unforgettable experience! The Fontana restaurant in Berlin Zehlenford completely convinced me. From the first moment you feel extremely comfortable in the upscale, yet cozy atmosphere. The atmosphere is elegant but not too intrusive at the same time, which rounds off the dining experience perfectly. The food is of exceptional quality - every ingredient is fresh and prepared with great attention to detail. I was particularly impressed by the variety of flavors and the creative presentation of the dishes. You immediately notice that high standards are placed on the kitchen here. Yes, the prices are higher, but the quality and taste of the dishes justify the price in every way. The staff is very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The service rounds off the entire experience and leaves nothing to be desired. Overall, an absolute highlight for everyone who appreciates excellent cuisine and a stylish ambience. I'll definitely be back!

Simply great! The service was excellent - the staff were attentive, friendly and really went out of their way to make our evening perfect. The food was an absolute delight: fresh, creative and full of flavor. Of particular note were the steak and desserts, which were simply fantastic. We will definitely come back and can only recommend this restaurant!

Christmas dinner with the family. We were welcomed and served very nicely, even if something was missing twice for 10 people, it was quickly supplied.

The atmosphere was okay, the food was okay, and the staff was okay, but the service was very slow. Even though the restaurant was nearly empty—just a couple of tables occupied.

The food was served cold, no one asked if the meat should be medium rare, it tasted like an old leather bag, it couldn't be cut, the food was returned. We waited forever for service, a good 20 minutes and 3 reminders later our drink arrived

So far we have always been happy here. However, there was a fiasco on our literal last visit here. We had booked a table there for a party on the terrace long in advance for a festive occasion. When we arrived, however, there were long waiting times and a hectic atmosphere broke out because our table was simply given to other guests who had spontaneously increased their size. Instead of our original table, we had to sit at tables that had been spontaneously put together. For us and our guests, some of whom had come specifically, it was a failed lunch and we as hosts did not leave a good impression. How the restaurant treated its guests in this case is absolutely unacceptable. The child-friendliness of some waiters is also questionable.

Such an amazing place! The restaurant has a special room where you can celebrate in a large group and select music. My friend celebrated her civil wedding here and we were all blown away. A special kind of service and warm friendliness... always happy

After several regular visits to the restaurant at La Fontana, which were always very nice, we now held a big celebration there. The preliminary discussion was competent, the food was very good - and above all the service was very professional and very personable at the same time. This impression was shared by all guests. The Fontana is a wonderful restaurant to have a good meal in a friendly atmosphere.

UPDATE: The portions of the truffle pasta have been drastically reduced, but the price has been increased significantly. Of course inflation goes back and forth, but if I can't even get enough anymore because they're so small, that's worrying. Everything else still remained the same. Great restaurant with an upscale ambience, pleasant atmosphere and entrance suitable for disabled people. The staff is always nice and accommodating, and reservations are also possible without any problems. The quality of the food is very good and has remained the same over the years. The size of the dishes is very good.

Great quality of the food, the skin of the pike perch is fried until crispy, the vegetables are on point and very well seasoned, the creme brulee is very tasty. Attentive service, nice ambience inside and out.

Unfortunately, it sucks. Expecting a nice evening, you make a reservation for seven people and get a table for 6. You spend the whole evening chasing after the inattentive waiters. Cutlery is missing, glasses are missing...food is a disaster, pasta of the day with seafood that has been cooked to death...desserts don't include ice cream for the children and it takes 30 minutes and 5 requests for it to be delivered. It's a similar game with the bill, only the head waiter then becomes rude. Instead of apologizing for waiting times and inattention, he blames us, the guest...once and never again

Below average Kosovo Albanian with embarrassing accent! The salads drowned in balsamic sunflower oil have nothing to do with Italian cuisine, nor does the tough, inferior meat on them. This used to be a great Greek restaurant.

Very good and quiet location in Berlin. The owners and staff are extremely hospitable and funny, so you can spend a pleasant time in peace with friends or family.

We have been living in Zehlendorf Süd for a good 10 years and the Fontana has always been our place to go. Recently (specifically the last 3 times) we have been very unpleasantly pestered upon arrival with the offer of aperitifs and water bottles that we will no longer come. We don't want to order water bottles or an aperitif! Whenever we politely declined with thanks, we were subsequently served less friendly and felt like we were left behind. I don't care whether the waitress gets a bonus on drinks or whether the margin on the water is high. That's not the way for me. If I order water for two people, I don't want the waitress to respond with "I'll bring a bottle of water." It's nice when things are offered, but anyone who asks has to be able to live with the answer: Thank you, NO water bottle and NO, we don't want Prosecco or aperitif. Not this time and not after. If we want that, we say so. PLEASE, dear Fontana team, refrain from this intrusive drink sale.

What a great Italian! I was there during the week and was lucky to get a nice spot on the terrace. Wow, what a beautiful terrace! There was such delicious linguini with shrimps and a hearty pizza for my companion. This won't be the last time. Really good cuisine, bravo. The restaurant is really very nice, large and tastefully decorated; This extends to the sanitary facilities. I really like it when everything is always nice and clean. There is also a separate lounge for special occasions. I really want to try it out, it looks really great. Well done! Thank you very much.

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Abend draußen verbracht. Gepflegte Atmosphäre, super freundliche Bedienung, sehr leckeres Essen (ich habe die Tagesempfehlung genommen, Schwerfisch), leckerer Wein (Gavi di Gavi). Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen von auswärts. Ansonsten würde das unser Stammrestaurant werden!

We waited about 40 minutes for the starter. The food came after 1h10min. Meat was delicious and so was the wine. Pasta wasn't cooked properly. We paid 26.50 for a small steak and broccoli.

Had a wedding reception here and rented an extra room and were thrilled by the friendliness of the staff. They decorated beautifully and provided us with the best Italian delicacies. Great starter platter with vitello tornato, freshly grilled vegetables, ruccula and much more. Excellent food, authentic, freshly prepared and there was also a selection of seasonal dishes. The staff is very helpful, friendly and humorous. We'll definitely come back :)

Attentive, fast service, the food was very tasty (spaghetti with asparagus). Bread and oil in advance. Would have liked a little more asparagus; but of course it is also expensive. Overall, it's a bit expensive. Nice, big terrace. Card payment possible; Unfortunately, tips are only possible in cash.
