The price/performance ratio is good, but paying usually takes a little longer in restaurants. Everything was wonderful, whether there or when ordering. The waiter was friendly, especially the younger gentleman.

To be consistently good over the years is a great achievement 😀 The food was fantastic, the wine recommendation was excellent, and the service was warm and welcoming. Thank you.

I don't recommend this place for the following reasons: - Poor quality pizza, questionable, oily dough. Despite the menu listing mozzarella, it was conspicuously absent. - Inattentive service. Despite the restaurant being literally empty at the time of my visit, it took a long time to deliver the menu and take my order. Even when paying the bill, they weren't attentive or friendly. Not recommended restaurant.

I ordered a salami pizza. I really didn't like it; I don't know who would like that kind of pizza. The pizza was very oily, and the cheese on it was bad. I still had a bad aftertaste a few hours later. The crust and salami were still okay.

A very nice restaurant - much more spacious and cozy inside than it looks from the outside. The interior is tastefully decorated. The food was delicious and served in generous portions. The prices were a pleasant surprise - everything is quite affordable. I would like to separately mention the staff: the service was warm and friendly, perhaps the friendliest of all the places we were in Germany this weekend. Thanks to the whole team for a pleasant evening!

Ristorante Pizzeria Da Cimino – Absolute recommendation! I recently ate at Da Cimino and I loved it! I ordered a pizza and an Italian salad - both were simply excellent. The pizza was perfectly prepared, with fresh ingredients and a crispy base that you rarely find. You immediately notice that the pizza master is a real professional - an older gentleman with a lot of experience who knows his craft! The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very pleasant. I would particularly like to highlight the friendly service staff - attentive, warm and always with a smile. A great experience that I would happily recommend. I'll definitely be back!

We only took takeaway so I didn't care about the service or ambience and the pizza wasn't that good. I probably had wrong expectations because the da cimini at the Bockenheimer waite is more than 5 stars. And for the lousy quality, the price is really cheeky, so 3 stars is very generous.

Pizza and Chianti were good, but the price was a bit too high. Also tried pasta today, all three dishes were very tasty.

We have tried this store several times now. Today was so unfriendly that today was definitely the last time. The previous customers don't tip a cent and are greeted effusively by the owner. We tip well and say goodbye politely and are looked at and ignored. If you don't need it, there is enough choice in Frankfurt and I'd rather go to Gentorellis and treat myself to a nice experience with a bit of warmth.

I agree with some of the previous speakers. The staff seems very annoyed and cold towards the guests. Also very arrogant and unprofessional. As a result, we won't be coming anymore!

Non acceptable food, bad service, no flexibility

Open all day before most home games, mandatory attendance. Tagliatelle with truffles or pizza anchovies and onions.

Delicious food, prices are ok. But the whole staff was really very unfriendly, whether on the phone or on site. “Hello” is very difficult to get out of your mouth. When handing over the food, no “bon appetit” or “bye”. In addition, there are never napkins included. Therefore always consistently tip €0.

I was there with my family and we were all more than satisfied! The food came quickly and was really delicious. A salami pizza, mushroom tagliatelle and gnocchi pomodoro were ordered, everything was very tasty and freshly prepared. The service staff was also very nice and attentive. The only point of criticism was the slightly loud pop music, but this depends on where you sit. Still a clear recommendation!

My wife and I received a gift voucher. For the Pizzeria Da Cimino. The reservation was easy to make over the phone, there are tables and chairs in front of the restaurant so you can also sit outside in the summer. When we entered the restaurant, we walked past the pizza counter, which was of course an eye-catcher. The waitress was absolutely fine and kept making eye contact and asking if we needed anything else. When we wanted to order, the waitress said to us that there was a 3 euro surcharge almost everywhere on the menu except for a few pizzas and salads. Due to the current situation, that was somewhat understandable for us, but it wasn't stated on the menu the old prices can still be found. When the food came, I came to the nice conditions and asked if I could have a small portion of sauce? Then the pizza maker suddenly intervened and said to me, "What do you think you are here?" Dozens and then misunderstood the tone, good thing we didn't spend any money on it but had our voucher for the restaurant, of course we did The lady received a tip from us and sincerely apologized for what had happened.

The dishes used to be of the best quality. Nowadays you adapt to the others. But you keep the expensive prices. 24 euros for a normal pizza and a pasta dish? No thanks, you've lost a regular guest.

Had dinner there before the Eintracht game. Attentive service, quick and here it comes. Food super. One pasta with salmon and one with truffle. Veal fillet with porcini mushrooms and a decent pizza at a more than fair price. Keep it up. Would love to come back. LG

Sweet Italian, typical Sicilian cuisine, with pretty good pizza. It's a bit hidden in a not so nice backyard, but once you're inside you quickly forget that.

Very nice service and good food! We've been there as a large group of 20 people and the service was excellent. Large selection of starters – recommended!

Unfortunately none of the dishes were good, the pizza was dry, the lasagna was 70% pasta, the tiramisu was almost only cream and very probably frozen. It's a real shame, the atmosphere was very nice.

Check your bill before you pay. Unfortunately, I paid first and then checked the bill. We were charged a pizza for 11 euros even though we had ordered pizza bread. My son ordered extra broccoli. So there was cooked broccoli on the pizza bread. So we had the extra broccoli for 1.50 euros and a broccoli pizza for 11 euros on the bill. I complained about it, but the waiter said we had ordered a pizza without cheese. What a disgrace. I got 1.50 back for the broccoli and nothing more. By the way, that wasn't the first time that the calculation wasn't correct. What upsets me most is that I gave a generous tip. We'll never go there again.

Delicious food at reasonable prices.

I've been out to eat a few times, but last time I was a bit dissatisfied with the medium rare steak I ordered, at least at first. Unfortunately, it was almost burned out. But after a short notice, I immediately received a new one, just as ordered. This situation also showed what a good host can achieve. I would love to come back.

Not recommended! At least not anymore. It's a shame because we always enjoyed eating there before when I still lived in Niederrad. About 2 weeks ago we had dinner for my birthday and I had never experienced such poor service. The lady with long, dark hair who served us may have had a bad day, but that was extremely unprofessional. She was very annoyed right from the start. We were there around 6:15 p.m. and ordered quite quickly. I was pretty hungry and was really looking forward to eating, but the food didn't come for a really long time. Only after asking several times did it come (a short explanation would have been enough) and then it was already 7:20 p.m. We ate for maybe 20 minutes and then left. It's a real shame, it was never like that before :(

Really the best pizza in Frankfurt

Unfortunately pizza is not very good. Don't understand how you can call yourself an Italian restaurant and the pizza is standardly served with some cheap cheese instead of mozzarella? I would have expected more, there are so many better pizzas in Frankfurt.

Very tasty pizzas! The only thing that bothers me is that when you call there, no one answers the phone. It's a shame but then you have to order somewhere else...

We spontaneously decided to eat a little more. We had beef carpaccio, homemade ravioli with chanterelles and tagliatelle with salmon. The carpaccio was very good, as was the tagliatelle with the salmon. The homemade ravioli were just a little too few, but still delicious. For dessert there was tiramisu and a scoop of ice cream. The tiramisu was okay... Too much mascarpone unfortunately. The service was super nice and always friendly. All in all, we would like to come back and would happily recommend it.

Ich war mit meinen Arbeitskollegen im Restaurant Essen. Ich habe mir Nudeln bestellt(Alforno). In dem Essen war ein Haar . Dies habe ich dem Kellner mitgeteilt. Der Kellner behauptete das es meins wäre. Wobei mann sieht das es Haar mit Käse Überbacken und kleine Käse stellen hat. Und meine 3 Arbeitskollegen haben hast auch gesehen. Der Mitarbeiter heißt Blenden der da Kellnert. Note 6 für deine Menschlichkeit und dein Service. Nicht empfehlenswert! Sowas habe ich noch nicht erlebt.!

Very nice restaurant, great location, the outdoor area is also great. There are enough parking spaces available. Attractively priced, nice service. Unfortunately we didn't like the pizza and the starter was too salty. We won't be coming back.

This has nothing to do with the original Italian cuisine - a pizza dough as thick as….

For the pizza, the dough is very below average and comparable to a pizza from the supermarket. The toppings and ingredients taste very cheap and a cheaper cheese is used instead of mozzarella. Unfortunately, not enough performance for a restaurant that bills itself as an Italian restaurant.

The lasagne was extremely vinegar-heavy, the waitress(s), all male, were arrogant and indifferent. When someone pointed out that the faucet in the men's toilet was connected incorrectly and that they had scalded their hands with hot water in the belief that they had turned on the cold water, they were only followed by a shrug of the shoulders, a smug grin and the advice that they should be more careful ... Never again!

Unfriendly and arrogant to mocking service. Food itself is meaningless, seasoning is recommended. When I washed my hands, I scalded my left hand because the hot and cold water were connected the wrong way round and weren't color-coded. As usual, you turn the tap to “cold” (right) and scald your hand with water that is far too hot, almost boiling. When this was pointed out, the waitress said that we had to be a little careful (with a mocking grin on her face). What looks like a chic Italian restaurant from the outside turns out to be more of a bar due to the "service". Never again! My recommendation: Different restaurant!

I hadn't been there for a long time because the quality of the food had deteriorated significantly, got a second chance and it was the same as before, the service is great there, very very friendly and accommodating, something could happen with the atmosphere. No online ordering possible, only by phone. Conclusion: very good food, ambience could be improved, service excellent

In my opinion, Da Cimino in Niederrad has been convincing for years with good quality, delicious food, friendly service and very fair prices. Even after the general increase in costs, the prices for starters, as well as pasta and pizza, are affordable, and the quality and quantity are still great! The pizzas are super delicious, and besides these Italian classics, my absolute favorite on the menu is the steak with Gorgonzola. The steak is juicy and buttery soft, and with the Gorgonzola on top it creates an incredibly delicious dish. There are also small potatoes and some vegetables. Simply sensational, even if the price is significantly higher than the other dishes on the menu. I remember that once the "presentation" of the dish was better, and the steak was simply "standing" in a thin layer of gorgonzola - and the side dish was served on a separate plate. I liked this even better because there was no gorgonzola on the steak itself and it was easier to ration. Nevertheless, an absolute recommendation at Da Cimino, and if you don't like Gorgonzola, you should definitely treat yourself to the pizzas!

A classic Italian pizzeria with a wood oven and a large restaurant and garden. The card leaves nothing to be desired and the quality is top. Always happy again, just like an evening in Italy.

I love this Pizzeria, its close to my home and the wood fired italian pizza here is tasty. Has short wait time and can be customized based on my preference. Most importantly the adjust the spice level with chilli ol as needed

The pizzeria has already spoken to us from the outside. The beautiful decor and the stairs to the gallery immediately invited you. The service was very friendly and accommodating. You could really tell that the waiters enjoyed their work. We were surprised with fresh antipasti from our own counter as a starter. The pizza on the menu, from the wood-fired oven, was great. The dish from the current season menu was particularly impressive. The restaurant is highly recommended.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit wirklich guten Speisen. Ein kleiner Punktabzug gibt es für das relativ lange Warten, wenn man etwas nachbestellen möchte....es müsste etwas mehr Personal da sein. Das Personal an sich war aber sehr nett.

Pizza ganz ok, die Carbonara war nicht lecker! Service nur ein Stern, weil ein Essen vergessen worden ist, Parmesan wurde auch nicht gebracht bzw. auch wieder vergessen. Hier besteht kein Wiederholungsbedarf…

Pizza mit Champignons aus der Dose….ernsthaft?

Hier schmecken sowohl Nudeln als auch Pizza, die Weine sind auch nicht zu verachten. Der Service ist stets freundlich und aufmerksam, das Restaurant ist sehr sauber, sowohl drinnen als auch draussen. Als ich noch in Niederrad wohnte waren wir regelmässig dort, das werden wir jetzt wieder machen.

Essen hat sehr stark nachgelassen, man wird am Telefon gefragt welche Soße man für seinen Salat haben möchte, wiederholt diese mehrfach und trotzdem bekommt man die falsche Soße (Cocktailsoße). Pasta al Forno mit Fleichsauce und Sahne, vergebens suche ich die Sauce + Sahne, sehr trocken ist dieses Gericht. Pizza Margherita ist auch ein trockener Lappen, sowohl Käse als auch die Soße ist durch zu langes verweilen im Ofen trocken. Schade, wir sind sehr gerne hier her gegangen.

Gutes Essen, aber für den fünften Stern fehlt das gewisse etwas. Service war sehr gut, Ambiente hat meinen Geschmack nicht ganz getroffen, aber das ist ja Ansichtssache. Wer solides italienisches Essen sucht ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Das Essen ist in Ordnung, das Restaurant hat aber eher Hinterhofcharakter. Ausserdem muss man nach bestellten Getränken und Essen Nachfragen um es zu bekommen.

Zu teuer und die Bedienung soll viel besser sein

Es schmeckt noch genau so gut wie früher, wenn nicht sogar besser, das Pizza rot Spezial ist einfach mega lecker und der kleine Salat riesig und sehr frisch! Die Pizza und Pasta ebenfalls, sehr zu empfehlen!
