L'Osteria in Frankfurt am Main

The first thing that comes to mind when I think about the visit is "loud," and much too loud. Also, the tables are really small and the pizzas are way too big. But the food and service were great.

We ate at L'Osteria at Westhafen and were very satisfied overall. The food was delicious and, as usual, of good quality – the portions were large and the flavor was excellent. What really made the visit special, however, was the service: Several waiters were exceptionally friendly and attentive, something that unfortunately isn't a given these days. A special shout-out goes to our waiter, Kristyan, who truly enhanced our evening with his friendly, warm manner and attentive service. You could tell he enjoys his job – it added to the whole experience. Many thanks to the entire team – we'll be back!

Gabriel, the best man! We haven't been here for a long time because the service was simply disastrous and extremely unfriendly. We always waited for hours until someone came; it was hectic without end. Our family and friends had the same experience, which is why we stopped gathering here. We were very pleasantly surprised when Gabriel served us! Even though it was a Saturday, he did everything in a flash - like a machine & very attentive and super sweet and friendly!!! We'll definitely be coming back more often and will tell others about him. 👍🏼 Top!!!

Solid system catering, i.e. the food is good and you can somehow rely on what you get at every L'Osteria. The pasta was well made, al dente and the sauce wasn't too heavy. The service was attentive and friendly and everything worked well despite the busy lunch time.

The location is truly beautiful. The food (pizza) was also good, albeit expensive for Frankfurt. The service, however, left a lot to be desired... rude and unfriendly (e.g., when taking your order, they always bluntly said "move on" for the next order... not a friendly tone). Then, sometimes drinks took forever. Serving was also impossible... they were passed across the table, even though there was plenty of space around it. It was handed right in front of someone's face, etc.... definitely not recommended!

One of my favourite restaurants We’ve visited multiple branches but the one on the Main is top. Service, food, vibe and location are all perfect….especially in the summer. Last time we went our server Gabriel was amazing and really patient with our big group.

I was recently at L’Osteria and was lucky enough to be served by Yaren – just great! Super friendly and super attentive. Even though there was a lot going on, she took her time and organized everything perfectly. The food was also really tasty, the pizza was huge and super fresh. Food has been very delicious, both appetizer (burrata) and main course (spaghetti bolognese house made). Service excellent - fast delivery, attentive to requests. Only a bit loud in the restaurant, but acceptable.

L'Osteria is a system restaurant for Italian cuisine. The quality of the food and service varies from location to location. The ambience is always great, very well maintained and clean. L'Osteria in Frankfurt/Main does it quite well. The Capricciosa pizza was medium warm when it came to the table and had probably been under the lamp for a while. The service responded to my complaint in a bad mood, but then offered to make improvements. It wasn't a great match for everyone involved...

The food was of the usual L'Osteria quality, but the service was disappointing. We had to wait almost 30 minutes to pay, despite asking multiple times. The cashier referred us back to our waiter. In addition, the staff seemed dissatisfied and some tables outside remained untidy even though they were free. The overall atmosphere was mediocre.

Wow, probably the fastest service I live. We only had to wait a few minutes for our food. The service is absolutely on point, always friendly and professional. That's how it should be. The atmosphere is up to date, clean and very cozy. Unfortunately the store is sometimes quite tight. Pizza is delicious and very big. Actually, it's an exaggeration, since almost no one eats the whole pizza and so a lot of food is thrown away. Too bad. Our cola was slightly less carbonated. Whatever... I'd love to come back.

Offers a very beautiful setting, especially in the outdoor area and directly opposite the West Tower. It is beautifully located directly at the Westhafen am Main. The menu offers a wide selection. In summer I recommend pre-registration, especially for the heavily frequented outdoor area.

La pizza era más grande de lo esperado, pero era absolutamente precioso! Sabor increíble! Mi madre tiene el risotto de hongos y dijo que sabía muy bien también! Sin duda volveremos aquí de nuevo cuando volvamos! E incluso los asientos eran buenos, w elección de dentro o fuera y el exterior era hermoso agradable y caliente!

Wir waren an einem Mittwochabend bereits gegen 17 Uhr vor Ort. Anfangs war es noch etwas leerer, aber je länger wir dort saßen umso mehr füllte sich das Lokal. Das Restaurant ist sehr langgezogen und bietet viel Platz für Gäste. Zuerst erhielten wir nur die Standardkarte, so vermisste ich die monatlichen Angebote (07.01.-03.03.). Aber als der freundliche Service die Getränke aufnahm, reichte er auch die Extra-Karte. Ich wählte eine 1/2 Pizza Parmigiana (Normalpreis 15,75 Euro) von der Standardkarte sowie eine 1/2 Pizza Gorgonzola E Spinaci (Normalpreis 13,95 Euro) von der Monatskarte. Knapp 15 Minuten später wurden die riesigen Pizzen bereits serviert. Bei der Parmigiana befinden sich neben der Aubergine, Mozzarella, Oregano und Hartkäse auf der Pizza. Auf der anderen Hälfte lagen Edamer, Gorgonzola, Kirschtomaten, Spinat, Birne und Knoblauchöl auf der Tomatensauce. Leider war die Birne noch zu fest und damit wenig Geschmacksintensiv. Auch merkte ich von dem Gorgonzola leider nichts. Die Tomaten und Spinat waren genau richtig dosiert. Die Aubergine hätte noch etwas mehr geröstet und damit weicher sein können. Bei meiner Konstellation mit zwei unterschiedlichen Belägen wird die teurere Pizza am Ende berechnet. Der Service war den ganzen Abend sehr nett und aufmerksam. Als wir zahlen wollten, war es bereits sehr voll und es dauerte etwas länger. Bezahlt wird mit Gerät am Tisch, Rechnung wird keine übergeben.

Food was OK. Arrived warm - the last slices of pizza were already cold. Service was friendly on Valentine's Day but unfortunately had a slight touch of mass processing. Table carelessly set with a tea light. The table for two is definitely too small for two pizzas, 1 bottle of water with glasses and 1 bottle of wine with two glasses. Price/performance ratio is completely fine

In the middle of Frankfurt, this charming Italian restaurant offers authentic cuisine, freshly prepared pasta and delicious pizzas in a cozy atmosphere. An ideal place to spend the evening relaxing and enjoying yourself.

The pizzas were huge, but also very thin and one of them was very dark and rock hard like bread chips. Complaining afterwards doesn't help, just say something beforehand and send the pizza back! I had left a lot on the plate and on the subject of burnt pizza, she said it happens sometimes. But that was it. Otherwise friendly and fast service.

Yes definitely. Five of us went here for lunch on a Saturday (family reunion!). Table was reserved (and it was necessary - even if I wouldn't have guessed it) and we got a nice round table. It was my first time in a restaurant from the L'Osteria chain (Westhafen). The pizzas are absolutely great - 40cm and delicious with toppings (approx. 15 euros). The pasta dishes (including lasagne, tortelloni, etc.) were of normal size compared to the pizza. Everything was very tasty and well seasoned. With a small starter and 2x dessert we paid around 150 for drinks. When paying by card, a fixed tip of 10% or more can be given.

... the pizza was quite good except for the size of about 60 centimeters, so 3 to 4 people can eat it. I had to throw away half of it... why keep getting bigger, why not about 30 cm again... I don't think that's good...

The overall rating is too low. The food was totally correct and perfect "osteria" quality. After all one should not expect white table cloths and Michelin service in an Osteria. The vitello tonnato was beautifully presented with exactly the right quantity of tuna sauce and capers, the veal was thinly sliced, perfectly pink and a perfect starter. The presentation and taste was as good as i've had anywhere( and i always order this dish at every Italian restaurant i go btw). For the main I ordered penne arrabiata. This is a very uncomplicated peasant dish- penne, tomato sauce and pepperoncino. What could wrong? As it turns out quite a bit but not at L'Osteria. Pasta was al dente with the perfect amount of spice. The Brunello by the glass was complimentary to both dishes with low acidity, perfect temperature(Italian reds can be served 'hot' if not stored properly)and appropriate ml by the glass(and very reasonable at €5.50 per). I regret not returning for a second night while dining alone on business in Frankfurt.

Restaurante muy ocupado, tardamos un poco en pedir una bebida y más en pedir comida, teníamos la intención de tener entrantes un verdadero y luego principal, el camarero nos dijo que todo llegaría al mismo tiempo! No se molestó en pedir entrantes y como que estropeó la experiencia. No creo que cenaría allí de nuevo si esta es la política.

There was mouse droppings on the floor, in the facilities and on pizza boxes. A mouse ran through the pizza kitchen. An odor of mouse droppings was detected throughout the facility. This is what was found during an inspection by the official food control authorities. Therefore, I will avoid all L'Osteria branches in the future if the chain clearly cannot guarantee that its franchisees maintain a minimum level of operational hygiene.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything is great! The pasta was incredibly delicious – perfectly cooked and with a wonderfully aromatic sauce. The staff was super friendly and the service was quick. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I'll definitely come back, absolute recommendation!
