L'Osteria in Frankfurt am Main

Es war sehr lecker und die Bedienungen waren nett. Auch das Essen kam sehr schnell und somit wurde unser Hunger schnell gestillt.

I now know the Osteria Stuttgart, Mannheim and Munich and now also the one in Frankfurt. Here you have a very nice location close to the Main. There is little activity at around 5 p.m. I am seated by a waiter. A little later he takes my order. A small beer and the spaghetti bolognese. The beer is placed on the table in front of me by a server without saying a word or making eye contact. Later the spaghetti comes with a “bon appetit” without a smile or eye contact. Good service can be different!! Even though there isn't much going on. The spaghetti is not lukewarm, but not as hot as I know it from other Osteria restaurants. It tastes equally good everywhere. Another waiter then collects the money. At least he thanks you.

I can only recommend it. The food is really delicious. The pizzas are huge (45cm diameter). Despite the stress, the staff was super accommodating and friendly. The menu is clear and you won't be overwhelmed by dishes. The food came super quickly. Really only recommended.

I personally didn't like the food because I know the difference from Oldenburg, where the dish I ordered was much better. The orecchiette were also not cooked properly. The service was top and the drinks were also very well made. I personally didn't like the atmosphere, it was very loud and the chairs were very uncomfortable. This encouraged us to go home earlier than planned.

We celebrated a birthday there yesterday and were warmly welcomed. Markus served us and he was very, very personable. Had a fun evening there.

It was once again super tasty. I now know L'Osteria from 4 or 5 different cities in Germany - it's just a great tip where you can't go wrong

I took the pizza. The dough tastes like lavash; the toppings are not enough; it’s dry.

The restaurant has a good ambience, although it is very noisy, due of course to the large number of guests, but it is a large open space and could have been solved better. More importantly, the food is rather mediocre compared to other restaurants in this price range. The portion of spaghetti for just under €15 must be significantly larger and not give the impression of canteen food. The staff, on the other hand, is very friendly and accommodating.

Unfortunately the pasta portions are too small. The pizzas 🍕 too big and too thin. But everything was very tasty and the location and view were very nice

I was surprised at the size of the pizza. Moreover, people in Germany eat one pizza per person. By the way, we shared one pizza and one plate of pasta and couldn't finish it (there were 3 guys).

Great ambience, located directly on the Main. There are different seating options. Nice service, who was always very present, got the drinks quickly and the pizza just as quickly, even though it was well filled.

Huge portions and a very nice, pleasant atmosphere!

Although it was packed in the evening, we (two people) received excellent service. The food was there immediately and the waitress regularly asked us whether everything was OK. The pizza tastes excellent!

Nice outdoor patio with excellent noodles and pasta. As you might imagine, the pizza dough is nothing to write home about, but why are you wasting time eating pizza in Germany?

The food and the location speak for themselves, but unfortunately the service is not necessarily great. If you order food after 3 times, I'll be there soon, then the food will be served but you can point out to the employee that it is not complete. First pizza comes, then salad when asked where it is, and the ordered side dish of bread is brought last. After you have eaten everything, you wait in vain for the dessert you ordered at the beginning. This too is only served after three requests. I think we can still do better.

Losteria food is typically good. Ambiance was nice, unfortunately it was very warm. We sat at the end of the restaurant and unfortunately were often no longer seen by the service, which left our mouths dry, otherwise good!

Really very tasty pizza with an extra thin base and huge size. Price performance is really great. If you can't do everything, you can take the rest with you. There's pizza half and half if you can't decide!

Big pizzas, big portions of pasta. The food came to the table quickly. I ate Tiramisu as a second course, which tasted very good.

Delicious, very large pizza right on the Main, enough for 2. The salad, on the other hand, was tiny. Dressing was extra, balsamic and delicious. We took the pizza to the Main and made ourselves comfortable there and enjoyed the fireworks. Always recommended for a small picnic.

Close to the Main and therefore easily accessible. The pizzas were huge and delicious. The pasta portions are significantly smaller, which is just right for me. Unfortunately, the tortellini were not cooked and while other tables were partly decorated with fresh flowers, there was no such decoration for our anniversary. However, it wasn't a problem that more guests came than announced and so we had a good time. Thank you!

Food was delicious, service was very nice! We ordered spaghetti carbonara for our two kids but half the portion, only €2 was deducted from the normal price of €14.50 from the full amount. I found that very bitter! Therefore a star deduction!

I question, if most of the positive reviews here are bots/automated and fake? While the restaurant is near empty, you have to find seating your self, get a menu from another table… no one to come to your table and ask how is the food or an opportunity to upsell for the business to offer drinks or additional items? Above that I had to find and fetch a staff to pay the bill, Staff members are eating left right and centre in common areas, not professional. texting near customers, talking on the phone on speakers phones? Definitely do not recommend. The food below average and the beef was very overcooked and chewy.

The food was just bad. Tortellini were completely uncooked. The menu says risotto, but in reality it's just porridge, which has nothing to do with risotto. It's not even made from risotto rice. But it tasted normal, like a porridge. I made comments about tortellini and the waitress said she would pass it on to Chef. But no further reaction... Location and house lemonade are nice.

Even one star is too many. After waiting for over an hour, the waitress came and asked about the last round. We hadn't received any food at the time (despite asking beforehand). With what feels like 20 cellars and a half-full restaurant, you really have to wonder what they're spending all their time doing (writing boards shouldn't normally take two hours). There was no apology. We canceled the food and left. The waitress didn't care - good staff seems to be really hard to find these days.

We spontaneously dined here on a Sunday evening. It was quite busy, but our order, both drinks and food, were brought quickly. The service was quick and friendly. Pizza is very thin, very very big and crispy, very tasty. However, there is a deduction in the B grade because the coating is rather low. Or to put it another way, the pizza clearly stands out the edge of the plate - the topping would probably not look so lost on a smaller pizza. We were able to take the leftovers with us without any problem and pizza boxes were provided. Prices are OK for Frankfurt, right on the banks of the Main.

Staff friendly. Very small room, mini bathroom with transparent glass door. Air conditioner. Quite loud at night even with the windows closed. Okay for one night.

The saddest and most tasteless carbonara I ever ate. I'm pretty sure there was cream in there and not one gram of pecorino. The staff was kind and unrstood my disappointment when I told them the pasta was far from a carbonara. The pizzas at the other tables looked quite big, I can't tell if they were good.

Spontaneously went for lunch 7/24, friendly service greeted us, we were able to sit wherever we wanted. Ordered drinks and food. Large bar, the toilets are 1 floor below and accessible by stairs, everything was clean and smelled good, my pasta was very tasty with pesto and pine nuts and the dessert "Panna Cotta with raspberry sauce" was also very tasty.
