Very friendly staff and the food is fresh and tastes very good

A really great Italian restaurant! The pizza is crispy and well topped, the pasta tastes fresh and homemade. The service is attentive and friendly. What was particularly nice: At the end there was an espresso on the house. We'd love to come back!

We had a delicious meal here between Christmas and New Year's Eve with a group of four adults, a child and a dog. Really super friendly people, nice atmosphere and delicious food.

Very surprised at an Italian who really cooks in a typically Italian way. And that in a tourist hotspot like the old town of Düsseldorf! Delicious starters, in my case liver on rocket and parmesan slices and delicious pizzas and good open red wine 🍷

Arrogantly pointed to a table upon arrival. You could see exactly what the people before us had eaten. Tables were sticky, drinking glasses still had lipstick on them. Ordered drinks and food, didn't get a glass from the waiter, when I asked for it the waiter pointed to the glass next to me that I had previously drunk from (lipstick was still on it) The staff was enjoying their drinks (which was also noticeable because I was sitting at the bar). Then the chef came out of the kitchen drunk and knocked over all the glasses on the bar. When paying, we, like other guests, chose not to leave a tip. To this the waiter then gave an aggressive and rude attitude. All in all, the food is good to eat, but I don't recommend it for the atmosphere and service.

We stopped here spontaneously, the service was nice and quick. We had the Italia salad, which was very rich and - Yippieh - simply with balsamic oil dressing. The spaghetti aglio e olio pepperoncino and the penne al'arrabiata were on point, fresh and very tasty. We would absolutely come back for that.

Absolutely not recommended!! Real tourist rip-off! Truly the worst pasta I've ever eaten. The spaghetti was nowhere near al dente. Salt and pepper were missing and weren't on the table either. The portion looks large, but we were both totally surprised that the portion was so extremely small. The cheese in the carbonara tasted like it came from a bag mixed with water. On some tables the guests were given bread, but we were not. Neither of us was full and now we have to go somewhere else to eat.

Arrived just after 9pm without a reservation. Still busy but several tables free and it was no problem to get something to eat. Good food, good atmosphere. A nice experience up to the bill. There the waiter RUGGED to get a tip. Because of the way we refused and the waiter suddenly became very arrogant. Too bad this man ruined it for the rest, because otherwise this would have been a wonderful experience!

Food was great. Evening was ruined when the waiter got angry at us for not leaving a tip, saying I “should leave a tip” since he did the effort of letting us still stay and eat when we entered the restaurant at 21:30. Ridiculous childish behavior from the waiter, but the kitchen did an amazing job on the delicious food.

We spontaneously went to the restaurant. We got seats straight away... but the service staff were very unfriendly and there was no trace of motivation. You couldn't really have a conversation with them either. The salad was definitely from a ready-made package... the Spaghetti Aglio e Olio was extremely spicy, which unfortunately ruined the whole dish. It's really a shame, because you could certainly do a lot with the restaurant. We're definitely not coming back!

We ordered pizza for two people, but we had to leave it half way through. And we couldn't eat it even though we were incredibly hungry. Unfortunately, we did not like the taste. We've had much better pizzas for this price. The environment and service were nice. The restaurant is also in a very nice location.

Tube-like restaurant, which, viewed from the outside, promises an Italian flair but unfortunately cannot deliver in any way. Outside the restaurant there is a freshly written sign advertising fish dishes, understandably opposite there is a very busy fish restaurant. Now to the main part, the food. The two of us in the restaurant ordered homemade tagliatelle with salmon and shrimp in tomato cream sauce and once the salmon steak in pepper cream sauce with daily side dishes. As a starter from the house there was baguette bread from the bakery (freshly picked up in the morning) from a drawer in the sideboard, with a tasteless cream. The good Italian usually bakes fresh or warms up homemade giabatta. Our ordered food was quickly brought to the table. The tagliatelle is definitely not homemade, but quite good overall. The salmon steak, a 2 finger-wide Lidl salmon (frozen), was unfortunately only sent briefly through the pan so that it was not only not cooked through, but had just thawed. As a side dish there were 4 potato slices and a vegetable variation consisting of a broccoli floret, three diagonally sliced ​​carrots and a cauliflower floret, all unseasoned. Long story short, in order to be able to keep up with quality in a hospitality industry on a Saturday evening in Düsseldorf, you should perhaps be able/need to rethink your concept here. Even a dropped pepper shaker that had lost a lot of grains when it fell was simply put back on the table without having to be cleaned up. I'm really sorry to have to write everything down and report it, but fortunately you have the opportunity to do exactly that here. I'll still take another look, maybe the kitchen and the service and the baker had a bad day...

At least seafood in the pasta wasn't fresh. Almost all of the clam shells in the noodles were empty. Not recommended. Never again.

Eating takes longer than the average football match

On the way through we stayed overnight in Düsseldorf and of course wanted to test the longest bar in the world in the evening. No problem, we ended up at “La Grappa” for dinner and were quite satisfied in the end. A pizza for 12.50 euros, you can't say anything against that today, especially since the pizza was very tasty and well baked. A pasta dish for 15.90 euros was also okay, it was homemade taglierini with fillet tips and fresh mushrooms, so the price is understandable. The service was friendly if a little slow. But with a little “tutoring” everything worked out. Conclusion: La Grappa is a good Italian with a little room for improvement.

We have been here several times and have been very satisfied so far. The day before yesterday we were disillusioned: our favorite waiter wasn't there. We had a place outside. You could tell from the service that it was very busy: the table was not clean (tablecloth with lots of stains and crumbs from the previous guest), the dishes were mixed up so that one person had to wait longer, we had to remember the extra parmesan, The waiter spilled some red wine on our companion's pants and there was no more digestive on the house. Also, the portions seem to have shrunk. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio no longer fits. A pity!

Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Wochenkarte war saisonal. Die Tische welche Pasta bestellt haben, haben ihr Essen zügig bekommen, bei Fleischgerichten war die Wartezeit etwas länger aber noch ok (Bei uns über 30 Minuten). Medium rare bestellt, Medium bekommen. Die Bratkartoffeln waren scheinbar in der Pfanne geschwänkte nur teils angebratene halbierte kleine Kartöffelchen. Spagetti Cabonara war gut. Im großen und ganzen hat es ganz gut geschmeckt.

Mâncarea excelenta, am mâncat cea mai buna supa de legume si cele mai bune paste.

Prima eten, snelle service en vriendelijk personeel. Op de pasta zat veel kaas. Voor mij geen probleem, maar ik kan mij voorstellen dat er mensen zijn die dit niet lekker vinden.

Service - Mussten 15 Minuten auf unseren Platz warten, was in Ordnung ist, Leider bekommt man dann später mit, dass Gäste die persönlich bekannt sind, deutlich schneller einen Platz bekommen.(im benachbarten Restaurant?) Meine Bestellung wurde verwechselt, kam somit verspätet, als mein Getränk bereits Leer war habe ich mehrfach probiert ein neues zu bestellen, leider vergeblich. Das Essen war Gut der Preis für die Lage vermutlich i.O. Alles in Allem halbwegs in Ordnung, aber nicht zufriedenstellend, keine Empfehlung.

Heerlijk gegeten. Snelle en nette bediening. Prijzen zijn heel vriendelijk en de keuze op de menu kaart meer dan voldoende ook voor vegetariërs. Lekkere drankjes en aan het eind mag een limoncello niet ontbreken.

Best atmosphere in Dusseldorf, in warm sunny days promenade occurs to be vibe'y place for pairs, family and friend groups. Good for a walk and to eat. La grappa is an Italian restaurant which doesn't seems to be exclusive but in matter of food - it pretty much is. If you're looking for a chill - that one in summer is cool one.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, absolut empfehlenswert und der Preis stimmt. Die Karte bietet genügend Auswahl, sodass für jeden etwas dabei sein sollte. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben Fisch gegessen, der Fisch war perfekt zubereitet. Qualität war hervorragend und sehr große Portion beim Fisch plus Beilagen.

Wir waren dort nach einem Opernbesuch zu etwas späterer Stunde. Wir wurden vom Personal aufgefordert, uns in den vorderen Bereich des Restaurants zu setzen, neben die offene Tür, um wohl den Anschein zu erwecken, das Restaurant sei noch gut besucht. Die Wünsche des Gastes wurden ignoriert. Die Karte ist mMn viel zu umfangreich, es gibt keine Tages- oder Wochenkarten. Dh für mich, es wird nicht saisonal gekocht. Wir bestellten eine Portion Pasta und eine Pizza. Die Pizza war labberig und die Beläge von unterdurchschnittlicher Qualität. Wie zu erahnen war, war die Pasta nicht hausgemacht und wurde zu weich gekocht. Die Soße war passabel. Einen Tiefpunkt erreichte das Abendessen beim Wein, der derart fade ankam, dass man fast argwöhnen könnte, er sei mit Wasser gestreckt. Auf den Deko-Gegenständen liegt der Staub der Jahrhunderte und auch sonst macht das Restaurant nicht den Eindruck, es sei mit Liebe geführt. Einzig positiv kann ich bemerken, dass die Preise für ein Altstadt-Restaurant noch in Ordnung waren. Aber ein zweites Mal wird es uns dorthin nicht verschlagen.

Eher lieblos das ganze, Pizza war heiß aber weniger als gut.. Sucht euch ein anderen Italiener in Gladbeck. Meiner Meinung nach eine 5-

Incredibly rude staff! Please find yourself another Italian restaurant. Told us to come back in an hour, promising us a table, but after coming back they gave the table to other people. They make promises but do not keep them. The waiter even made rude signs to us to go away. Eventually got a table but the waiter refused to look at us. Will not come here again.

Nice place but not that tasty. Bruschetta not toasted, rucola instead of basil, no salt or pepper, too bitter olive oil. Fish plate was tasty but could need a hint of more butter. The food is all in all more “plain” but not bad. Location is amazing. Love it

We've had the spaghetti al amatriciana and spaghetti aglio olio e peperonchino at lunchtime. It was ultimately Italiano!! Very good value for the money 😍

Penne Alforno was a bit tasteless but Spagetti carbonara was delicious.

Die Carbonara hier ist der Hammer. Traditionell nur mit Ei und Speck. Das Personal ist ein bisschen kurz ab, aber trotzdem höflich.

Alles ok , aber natürlich keine Spitzeleistung. Draußen sitzen in diesem Teil der Altstadt absolut ok. Das Brot nicht warm , eher trocken und kalt. Die Vorspeise ( Mini Calamaris mit Aioli ) nicht extrem gut. Die Hauptspeise lecker und gut. ( siehe Fotos) Insgesamt 3-4 Sterne.
