Ristorante La Famiglia in Hamburg

Auf der Suche nach einem Abendessen während unserer Hamburgreise haben wir dieses Lokal entdeckt und ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen. Ca. 20 saisonale Gerichte wurden zusätzlich zu denen von der Speisekarte auf einer Tafel präsentiert, das hat uns fast ein bisschen überfordert... ;-) Der Kellner war freundlich, die Getränke kamen schnell. Das Ambiente war typisch italienisch mit Steinfußboden und südländischen Gemälden an der Wand, Weinflaschen als Deko. Der Beilagensalat war frisch, eine ordntliche Portion und kam mit einer Menagerie zum Selbst-Anmachen. Die Calzone-Pizza meiner Begleitung war lecker, genauso wie meine Tortellini (von der Tafel) in Gorgonzolasoße mit Kürbisstückchen und Walnüssen. Auch das Dessert, Panna Cotta, hat gut geschmeckt. Die Preise sind gehoben, aber noch in Ordnung. Wenn wir mal wieder in der Gegend sind, würde ich wieder dort hingehen.

Die Tageskarte ist gut das Essen eher „ganz gut“ die Pizza ist nicht kross die Zutaten sind alle gut aber bei der Zubereitung einfach nicht unsere Erwartungen erfüllt Spagetti carbonara war nicht authentisch ich tippe auf Sahne in der Soße als Beispiel

This restaurant is an absolute insider tip! Authentic Italian cuisine that you can only find in Italy. The family that runs it is incredibly warm and creates an atmosphere that simply makes you feel good. The food? Incredibly delicious and always fresh. There are also fair prices and a charming ambience that gives you the feeling of being a guest of good friends. A real piece of Italy in the middle of the neighborhood - I even often speak Italian to them! If you are looking for real enjoyment and Italian warmth, you have come to the right place.

Very tasty, have been here twice and the staff was very nice and accommodating. Food was great. Definitely again next time in Hamburg.

A little hidden away, La Famiglia is a good Italian restaurant. There is a fixed menu with various dishes. There is also a table with changing specialties. I had pasta with truffles, which tasted good. Seating is indoors.

Super friendly. Original Italian. Great food. There is always a daily menu on a board that the boss presents. The pizza is gigantic and so is the meat and fish. Clear recommendation for a visit to Hamburg.

On our trip to Hamburg we were looking for food the first evening and stumbled across this cute little family restaurant. After that we were there every evening. Every time the gentlemen spontaneously made it possible for the four of us to sit outside and enjoy the really, really good food! Thin, tasty pizza, delicious and well-seasoned pasta and heavenly dessert!

Italian food with heart in the middle of Hamburg.

The food was very tasty and good value for money. Reservation worked and the drinks and food arrived promptly. The service staff was very friendly and willing to have a lot of fun. It was a bit tight for us, hence one star less.

We arrived in Hamburg late in the evening (9 p.m.) and then had to eat something. We couldn't order at most restaurants that late. I called there and they told me, come by. The employees are very warm and you immediately feel as if you have known each other for a long time. A bright interior a la Italia with really really great dishes on the menu and additional menu. My son had the spaghetti bolognese, I had the linguine with crayfish and lobster sauce. Both dishes were very tasty, mine was a little spicier, large portions and really great value for money. The restaurant is located a bit off the main road and is easy to reach on foot from our hotel.

Such a warm restaurant. At 50 years old, one of the oldest in Hamburg. The owner built and created everything by hand. Food super tasty.

At the entrance I was very coolly asked by gentlemen to put my umbrella in the quiver provided. He didn't even look at me. A waiter led me around the room and showed me without words where I could sit. I had bruscetta and pasta seafood. Bruschetta was ok. Nothing special. Seafood paste was actually made with seafood. In many places you can get these with salmon. Often there are no mussels. Here the chef has an understanding of the ingredients, unfortunately less so for quality. The menu promises fresh seafood. It wasn't fresh. The quality is reflected in the taste. The waiters also look like they work as sinks in the kitchen. So unkempt. A pity. You can put more effort into the prices.

Das Restaurant hat relativ gute Bewertungen und war um die Ecke des Hotels in welchem ich untergebracht war. Meiner Meinung nach wird es den Beurteilungen nicht gerecht. Der bestellte Rosé wie auch das stille Wasser wurden in der falschen Menge, oder als Sprudelwasser gebracht, obgleich nicht besonders viel los war. Die Vorspeise (Caprese) war lieblos und auch nicht besonders schmackhaft. Die Spaghetti aglio e olio waren bestenfalls mittelmäßig. Würde das Restaurant sicher nicht mehr besuchen wenn in Hamburg.

An Italian gem in Hamburg! Wide menu, good "homemade" Italian food served by the family. Good simple wine. If there are more than two of you, you should book a table.

We had dinner here today. Although we had reserved a table here, we (two women) were left standing without giving any reasons. After we found a place in the far corner, we were given the menu. The written board with other dishes was placed in front of us about 10 minutes later without any explanation. We ordered a small antipasti plate together as a starter. This was presented to us carelessly and after we politely asked if we could get some bread with it, the answer we received was: Good woman, I've been working here for ages and of course I know that antipasti also includes bread!!!!! A normal answer would actually have been enough for us. The taste of the antipasta plate was nothing special. The pizza was a normal pizza and for 16.50 euros it didn't really have the usual toppings. We actually know it differently. Taste ok. All in all we wouldn't go here again. The service here would first have to work on being friendly with customers.

Italian at a high level. Delicious food. Incredibly good service, we were 2 couples who had a pleasant evening

The food was really delicious and fresh, but unfortunately there was actually no service at all. In fact, you were only asked what you wanted to drink at the beginning, and then not again for the entire evening (2.5 hours). But maybe you don't want to make money with drinks🤷It's a shame, but that really brought the overall impression down.

The food here was super delicious. Prices top. Waiter great. Really cozy here. We'd love to come back!

Siamo stati in questo ristorante per la cena pre gara Ironman, per cui la valutazione è basata su un fuori menu costituito da spaghetti con olio e parmiggiano (buona cottura) delle buone fettine di tacchino ai ferri con patate al forno. Personale gentile, locale non facile da trovare nel mezzo di un quartiere mussulmano. Costi nella media abbiamo speso sui 30€ ( non abbiamo bevuto alcolici ma solo Acqua che costa ben 7€ al litro)

I have to say that the food actually tastes relatively good, but in my opinion it is a bit overpriced. Service quite good but very small portions.

Picked up pizza, made it quickly, friendly staff and super tasty.

I didn't like it, lasagna didn't taste like anything, no spices or herbs in the sauce, just tomatoes and mozzarella. You also had to look for the minced meat, that's how it was supposed to be and my tiramisu didn't look like it did in the pictures, just a narrow strip for it €7.50. The cream was without mascarpone, it was somehow just cream and egg white, I don't know that. Maybe I should have ordered something else, can't share the good reviews but they were very friendly.

We made a reservation for a small group with 2 dogs and were warmly welcomed. The small, separate adjoining room meant we had a nice, undisturbed gathering. The food came quite quickly, even though the restaurant was busy. We were all very satisfied with the food and would eat here again at any time. La Famiglia... a no-frills Italian restaurant, just as it should be.

Food was okay, but I've had better pizza. Unfortunately the food is extremely overpriced. In some cases it can be compared with prices from Switzerland (half of the pizzas and pastas almost €20). Tap water costs €3. The service is nice but has a very unique style. Apparently instructive towards female guests.

I had a delicious and reasonably priced Italian dinner last night. The staff were courteous and kind, the food was hot, fresh and tasty! I recommend trying one of the many specials like I did. The portion sizes are great and you won't leave hungry! I was also thrilled that the sorbetto limone was legit, and presented perfectly in the peel of the fruit itself! Grazie molto!!

The food was very tasty. The pizza has plenty of toppings and is wonderfully crispy. The tiramisu was excellent and light and airy. The service staff were absolutely courteous and consistently friendly and pleasant.

De kommer daterende med et skilt med flere af “dagens retter” Forretten er en sløj omgang af kolde retter men indeholder dog en ganske udemærket vitello tornado. Da vores hovedret kommer, medfølger også en grim lugt af en blanding mellem våd hund og for gammel oksekød. Mens vi prøver at nyde maden oplever vi også et par både klage over deres mad samt gå, men personalet virker vel upåvirket. Ikke et sted at anbefalede for 700kr

Good food, but the young waiter's fundamental debate about whether I ordered an espresso or a cappuccino was quite unworthy.

Pure and authentic Italy! We liked it. Pizza and tomato soup is recommended. Unfortunately it was very loud, but this was not due to La Famiglia, but rather to the next table or the guests.

We took a short trip to Hamburg and stayed overnight in a hotel near the restaurant. We have two small children and were warmly welcomed into the restaurant. The waiters are super fond of children. Finally a restaurant where you feel welcome as a family and children are not perceived as a disruptive factor. The mentality of the waiters and the ambience radiate coziness and convey a little bit of a holiday feeling, like in the south. The food was very tasty. I had a pizza with truffles which I highly recommend. There are also extra portions for children, they also tasted delicious and of course that makes parents happy too. We will definitely come back when we are in Hamburg.

Today I ordered a pizza with truffles and a mixed salad to take away. I was very disappointed - the price-performance ratio wasn't right for me. Given the price I would have expected better quality - a shame!

Pasta war gut gibt sicherlich aber auch bessere irgendwo. Ambiente etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Preis Leistung in Ordnung.

A real insider tip - unless you're from St. Georg. The restaurant has been a “safe bank” for good Italian food in the district for decades. The service is warm and the kitchen crew does a great job. The menu is seasonally adjusted and brought to the table on a large board and everything we tried (pizza, pasta and dessert) was perfectly prepared. Many thanks to the entire team!

During our city trip we were looking for a restaurant and came across La Famiglia. We reserved a table for 4 people (2 adults and 2 teens). We were warmly welcomed in the evening. It is a small, tastefully decorated restaurant. They offer dishes from the classic menu, but also a special menu on a large board. The food was simply excellent. We were completely impressed by the fresh ingredients and great combinations. The warm treatment also persuaded us to spend our last evening there. And here again we were not disappointed. Just the pizza with rocket: where you get a whole ball of mozzarella presented like that on a pizza. The shell was firm and everything inside was wonderfully creamy. We can fully recommend Ristorante La Famiglia and would be happy to come back on our next visit to Hamburg. Finally, a warm “grazie mille” for the two wonderful evenings. Everyone stay healthy and continue to be warm and cheerful.

Wow, what a delicious pizza. I had the Bufalla pizza with arugula. Rarely have I eaten something so delicious. My wife had linguine with crab meat and loved it too. The ambience probably hasn't changed for many years, I suspect.

My wife and I went to eat there because of the many good reviews and were not disappointed in any way. Despite no reservations and a busy house, we still managed to get a table. The welcome was warm and the service was courteous and friendly throughout. The food tasted very good and the drinks were at the right temperature. Extra requests were fulfilled in no time. The ambience is also very successful even though it doesn't seem like it from the outside. When you open the door you suddenly find yourself somewhere else. It is reminiscent of a small vaulted cellar in which we immediately felt very comfortable. We would love to eat there again and again.

We were in a larger group and ate here. I ate pasta filled with pears and nuts and unfortunately I only had 10 pastas on my plate for €20... so I wasn't full at all when I left. This has never happened to me at an Italian restaurant. The other portions looked enough but I was very disappointed.

We were there for dinner, service was perfectly fine. The atmosphere is rustic, but it wasn't really comfortable because we were sitting right on the aisle. The food was also good, but nothing special. We were also a bit disappointed that not all of the pasta seemed to be homemade (contrary to what you would expect from the description on the website: “homemade pasta simply tastes better”). Gnocchi with ricotta filling also tasted very sour. Overall it was ok but nothing special - hence 3 stars
