Great Italian restaurant with really delicious food.

I can absolutely recommend this restaurant. Very authentic and very tasty

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner with our children. We didn't have a table reservation, but we were lucky enough to be able to eat here. The service was excellent, and the children were also catered to. The food was sensational. We were just passing through, but the restaurant impressed us so much that we will eat here again on our next visit. Thank you very much for the lovely evening.

Small, quaint restaurant with noticeably friendly staff (family business). The senior boss was really nice to our children and the service couldn't have been better. The dishes - 3 pizzas, 1x gnocchi with mushrooms - were ready very quickly despite being busy and tasted very good. Totally recommended. :-)

Great restaurant! Classic Italian. Good cuisine with a large weekly menu, delicious house wine and good service. Were there with our kids. People joked around with them and it's no drama when they run around a bit. Our little one was able to take a look into the kitchen.

I don’t understand the 4,4 rating. It’s the worst salami pizza and carbonara I’ve ever had in my life. Carbonara with bacon and the sauce had no Parmesan. The salami pizza super bland in taste.

From a restaurant I expect to eat really testy plates in a nice ambience served in a relaxed but fully professional way. La famiglia and his team has all that. Respect. Next time in hamburg I will visit the place again.

Excellent welcome, as usual Italian cuisine influenced by the country and clientele. Spaghetti with garlic, oil and chili pepper not bad.

Unfortunately very poor service and extremely long waiting times. We were here on a Tuesday evening and it wasn't too crowded. Nevertheless, there was a wait of over 70 minutes for the food and it was still quite small and didn't taste good. Some even only lukewarm.

Wir sind noch nie so enttäuscht worden. Bei dem Preisniveau muss man von außergewöhnlich guten Speisen ausgehen können. Der Weißwein, meiner Frau, war ungenießbar. Begrüßung und Service mangelhaft. Die Reklamation vom Wein wurde erhört, aber ignoriert. Eine dürftig belegte Pizza für 17,50€, welche geschmacklich fragwürdig ist, schließt das Gesamtpaket ab. In meiner Lieblings Pizzeria zahle ich weniger als die Hälfte bei hervorragendem Geschmack und Service. Leider können wir dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

I ordered spaghetti with bolognese. The food had hardly any taste, only tasted like warm tomatoes and that for €15.50. This can never be Italian!

I really had very rare and good meals like there. Everything is made by hand on foot, great service, cozy atmosphere, taste and appearance of the food 10 out of 10. No ready-made mush!!! We all had starters, main courses, desserts and selected wines. Huge praise, you can't do it better, especially the quality of the individual components is incredible.

Bei jeden Besuch in Hamburg ein Pflichtbesuch. Egal was man bestellt einfach nur lecker. Der Service ist authentisch und mit Freude bei der Sache.

Unfortunately, the prices that are on the board and shown to the guest are not current. Pulpo on the board for €29.50, but later on the bill for €32.50. Unfortunately I only saw this at home.

Unfortunately I can't share the good reviews. It doesn't seem nicely decorated and loud for my taste. I ordered a pizza calzone and searched here beforehand: Calzone was rated well. The pizza came *very* quickly (when I finished eating, the YouTube video I started when I placed the order was at 1:30 p.m.…) and unfortunately it was neither rich nor particularly tasty. The dough was a bit dry and there was really very little content in the calzone. I think 15€ is a lot. I couldn't get enough of it. Where I can't complain is with the service. Friendly, quick and attentive. I wouldn't come back, but that's mainly because of the food. I'm now going to the Lidl around the corner for a second helping, unfortunately I don't trust the dessert.

A very cozy, beautifully designed restaurant. The food was very good, nicely presented and good portions. Middle price segment. It was very crowded and therefore very loud and warm. Anyone who loves original Italian cuisine is in good hands here. The service was also very good, quick and very friendly. We went to Ristorante La Famiglia with the whole family this evening and absolutely loved it! The warm service immediately made us feel like we were part of a big Italian family. What should be particularly highlighted is how child-friendly the team was - our children were lovingly cared for, which made the evening even more relaxing for us parents. I had the veal liver in butter and sage, and it was simply delicious - perfectly cooked and wonderfully flavorful. The other dishes were also first class and the quality of the ingredients was impressive. The ambience is cozy and inviting, ideal for a nice evening with the family. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for this great evening – a real piece of Italy in Hamburg!

Very good little Italian. Great food.

Auf der Suche nach einem Abendessen während unserer Hamburgreise haben wir dieses Lokal entdeckt und ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen. Ca. 20 saisonale Gerichte wurden zusätzlich zu denen von der Speisekarte auf einer Tafel präsentiert, das hat uns fast ein bisschen überfordert... ;-) Der Kellner war freundlich, die Getränke kamen schnell. Das Ambiente war typisch italienisch mit Steinfußboden und südländischen Gemälden an der Wand, Weinflaschen als Deko. Der Beilagensalat war frisch, eine ordntliche Portion und kam mit einer Menagerie zum Selbst-Anmachen. Die Calzone-Pizza meiner Begleitung war lecker, genauso wie meine Tortellini (von der Tafel) in Gorgonzolasoße mit Kürbisstückchen und Walnüssen. Auch das Dessert, Panna Cotta, hat gut geschmeckt. Die Preise sind gehoben, aber noch in Ordnung. Wenn wir mal wieder in der Gegend sind, würde ich wieder dort hingehen.

Die Tageskarte ist gut das Essen eher „ganz gut“ die Pizza ist nicht kross die Zutaten sind alle gut aber bei der Zubereitung einfach nicht unsere Erwartungen erfüllt Spagetti carbonara war nicht authentisch ich tippe auf Sahne in der Soße als Beispiel

This restaurant is an absolute insider tip! Authentic Italian cuisine that you can only find in Italy. The family that runs it is incredibly warm and creates an atmosphere that simply makes you feel good. The food? Incredibly delicious and always fresh. There are also fair prices and a charming ambience that gives you the feeling of being a guest of good friends. A real piece of Italy in the middle of the neighborhood - I even often speak Italian to them! If you are looking for real enjoyment and Italian warmth, you have come to the right place.

A little hidden away, La Famiglia is a good Italian restaurant. There is a fixed menu with various dishes. There is also a table with changing specialties. I had pasta with truffles, which tasted good. Seating is indoors.

On our trip to Hamburg we were looking for food the first evening and stumbled across this cute little family restaurant. After that we were there every evening. Every time the gentlemen spontaneously made it possible for the four of us to sit outside and enjoy the really, really good food! Thin, tasty pizza, delicious and well-seasoned pasta and heavenly dessert!

Everything is right here. I always come and leave very satisfied.👍🏼 It has its price, but there is also a lunch special.😉 Unfortunately it is now closed on Mondays. I was always nearby on Mondays. 😢

Italian food with heart in the middle of Hamburg.

The food was very tasty and good value for money. Reservation worked and the drinks and food arrived promptly. The service staff was very friendly and willing to have a lot of fun. It was a bit tight for us, hence one star less.

We arrived in Hamburg late in the evening (9 p.m.) and then had to eat something. We couldn't order at most restaurants that late. I called there and they told me, come by. The employees are very warm and you immediately feel as if you have known each other for a long time. A bright interior a la Italia with really really great dishes on the menu and additional menu. My son had the spaghetti bolognese, I had the linguine with crayfish and lobster sauce. Both dishes were very tasty, mine was a little spicier, large portions and really great value for money. The restaurant is located a bit off the main road and is easy to reach on foot from our hotel.

Such a warm restaurant. At 50 years old, one of the oldest in Hamburg. The owner built and created everything by hand. Food super tasty.

Das Restaurant hat relativ gute Bewertungen und war um die Ecke des Hotels in welchem ich untergebracht war. Meiner Meinung nach wird es den Beurteilungen nicht gerecht. Der bestellte Rosé wie auch das stille Wasser wurden in der falschen Menge, oder als Sprudelwasser gebracht, obgleich nicht besonders viel los war. Die Vorspeise (Caprese) war lieblos und auch nicht besonders schmackhaft. Die Spaghetti aglio e olio waren bestenfalls mittelmäßig. Würde das Restaurant sicher nicht mehr besuchen wenn in Hamburg.

At the entrance I was very coolly asked by gentlemen to put my umbrella in the quiver provided. He didn't even look at me. A waiter led me around the room and showed me without words where I could sit. I had bruscetta and pasta seafood. Bruschetta was ok. Nothing special. Seafood paste was actually made with seafood. In many places you can get these with salmon. Often there are no mussels. Here the chef has an understanding of the ingredients, unfortunately less so for quality. The menu promises fresh seafood. It wasn't fresh. The quality is reflected in the taste. The waiters also look like they work as sinks in the kitchen. So unkempt. A pity. You can put more effort into the prices.

An Italian gem in Hamburg! Wide menu, good "homemade" Italian food served by the family. Good simple wine. If there are more than two of you, you should book a table.

We had dinner here today. Although we had reserved a table here, we (two women) were left standing without giving any reasons. After we found a place in the far corner, we were given the menu. The written board with other dishes was placed in front of us about 10 minutes later without any explanation. We ordered a small antipasti plate together as a starter. This was presented to us carelessly and after we politely asked if we could get some bread with it, the answer we received was: Good woman, I've been working here for ages and of course I know that antipasti also includes bread!!!!! A normal answer would actually have been enough for us. The taste of the antipasta plate was nothing special. The pizza was a normal pizza and for 16.50 euros it didn't really have the usual toppings. We actually know it differently. Taste ok. All in all we wouldn't go here again. The service here would first have to work on being friendly with customers.

The food was really delicious and fresh, but unfortunately there was actually no service at all. In fact, you were only asked what you wanted to drink at the beginning, and then not again for the entire evening (2.5 hours). But maybe you don't want to make money with drinks🤷It's a shame, but that really brought the overall impression down.

The food here was super delicious. Prices top. Waiter great. Really cozy here. We'd love to come back!
