Price, performance are right, fast, good service and the food is tasty.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is simply amazing 🔨. I can only say one thing about the staff: "You're fantastic." I'd love to come back.

Since nothing in the city center appealed to us, we ended up at Don Camillo. We were greeted warmly and served quickly. We ordered spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti aglio olio as well as crème brûlée for dessert. Everything was delicious, the prices were absolutely right and the service was great. There is even a boat dock 😅.

TOP Italian in TOP ambience with TOP cuisine!!! Very nice Italian restaurant where, first of all, the fresh fish of the day is presented and introduced to you on a tray. That's really classy! Then the waiters in a slightly Mafiosi-inspired outfit...sensational! There is also great Italian cuisine. We haven't felt so welcome in a restaurant for a long time. Keep it up...when we're back in the area we'll be back with you!

After a tiring day we decided to eat here. We didn't regret it! The food was fantastic, the dessert was heavenly, the service was friendly and cheerful and the location by the water was great. If we were to come to this area again, Don Camillo would definitely be our first stop for a great evening. Thanks :)

Top Italiener in TOP Ambiente mit Top Küche!!! Sehr netter Italiener, in dem eine zu allererste der tagesfrische Fisch auf Tablett präsentiert und vorgestellt wird. Das hat schon mal Klasse! Dann die Kellner in einem leicht Mafiosi-angehauchten Outfit...sensationell! Dazu dann eine ganz tolle italienische Küche. Wir haben uns schon lange nicht mehr in einem Restaurant willkommen gefühlt. Weiter so...sind wir wieder in der Gegend sind wir sich wieder bei euch!

A friend and I accidentally ended up at this great Italian restaurant during a short vacation. We immediately felt very comfortable there. The food was really good and tasty and what should be highlighted is the perfect service, which unfortunately is rarely available anymore. Always approachable, very attentive, super friendly and all without being intrusive. The credo “all guests are treated equally well, regardless of whether they are holidaymakers (like us) or regular guests” is really implemented there. We loved it so much that we went there again on the second evening. Unreservedly recommended!

From my point of view: The dishes can be recommended without exception! Price for a 0.4 7up of €5.60 is quite expensive. My negative experiences were: It was very cold outside on the terrace and the electric heaters were ALL broken, as were all around our table. ( one direction our table worked was not sufficient) The waiter seemed listless and I experienced for the first time on a Saturday in a restaurant before 8 p.m. with 4 supermarkets within easy reach that an oil ran out and they were even cheeky enough to put the empty bottle down with the comment... A few drops still came out "Oof". Take a look at the toilets more regularly... Yes, it's the customers (M) who can't hit the bowl... Don Camillo would be turning in his grave if that had happened to him in Peppone's Restaurant. Conclusion: We were unlucky and wish you bon appetite and better luck

Let our first day of short vacation come to an end here this evening. First of all, the positive aspects: We were warmly escorted to a table and given a friendly welcome. The ambience: very nice with a great view of the lake & variations on the menu are also possible (for me the types of cheese can be swapped). As you can see from the pictures later, we had 3 starters (vegetarian antipasti, carpaccio & mozarella focaccia), as well as a pizza each (Parma & Vegetaria). The focaccia was a pizza bread - but delicious. The other two starters were also good - but we would have to compare the price and performance of many other restaurants, unfortunately better. Big pro: I often eat antipasti but here for the first time a pickled onion :-)! Now to the deduction point... the pizzas... I have rarely seen such a carelessly topped pizza that unfortunately (my taste) doesn't taste like an Italian pizza. Unfortunately, it was noticed that the service became more overwhelmed as the number of visitors increased and drinks also took longer... Hence ultimately the service deduction, as well as the taste-price-performance deduction. Overall a good restaurant - but honestly rated particularly good for the ambience :-). It's definitely worth it!

The waiter completely ignored us after we wanted to look through the menu before we ordered, so never managed to order. After 15 minutes of waiting where we could not get in touch with some of the waiters, we left our table.

I was there for lunch on 12/25/24, with two children and another 2 adults. And I have to say, great! The food was sufficient, but not too much and very tasty. It took maybe 10 minutes from ordering to eating. I've never had a meal so quickly. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the service. It was also packed. I can really recommend it.

Definitely recommended!!! Today, on New Year's Day, we got a table for two (plus a dog) without a reservation. The service is incredibly fast and very friendly. We waited less than 10 minutes for the drinks and the starter salad. The main course also came quickly after the starter had been cleared away. The steak was medium rare and very juicy. And the penne with spinach and walnuts was a huge portion. Tiramisu for dessert was also excellent. If you're ever in the area, you should definitely spend an evening there.

Wir haben als vierköpfige Familie unseren Silvesterabend hier verbracht und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich und schön beleuchtet mit viel indirektem Licht. Die Antipasti, der Seeteufel und die Schweinemedaillons haben uns gut geschmeckt. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, kinderfreundlich und auf Zack, obwohl das Restaurant sehr voll war. 2018: Good food in a nice atmosphere 2023: When we are on the way to Malchow, we stop here. In addition to the incomparably good food, the service is also simply top notch. The food is worth the money in every way. We've already devoured wonderful steak, heavenly pasta and homemade ice cream. The best Italian we know. And since all sorts of celebrities have dined here, word has gotten around that they use the best ingredients here and that everything is just right. 2024, December, another incomparable meal. We are always thrilled.

The food was super tasty. If there are 2 people at the table it would be nicer to bring 2 menus and not just one. There is a stark difference between joking and disrespect, it sounds like one of the waiters unfortunately doesn't know that. Otherwise everyone else who served us was really nice and friendly.

Incredibly nice people, really good food. The beef fillet - crispy grilled on the outside, juicy pink on the inside! The preparation is hard to beat - all taste buds are engaged - simply delicious! The fish dishes are also great! Deduction for the ambience because the leather chairs are uncomfortable - good wooden bistro chairs would top it off here. Everything is harmonious - it's fun to stay there!

On the way to the beautiful Müritz we became hungry. Some favorites where we have eaten many times were closed. Now it was time to go to Don Camillo. The restaurant is very lovingly furnished and cozy. Service very friendly and quick. Unfortunately the food wasn't great. We were 4 people. 2 people had the 152 El Gaucho plate for 28.80 euros. The other two had the pasta carbonara and a pepperoni pizza. The El Gaucho plate consisted of 4 small pieces of meat with some herb butter and fries. First a small salad. Meat was very bland and fries were at the lowest price. Salad was good with homemade dressing. I wouldn't spend so much money on it again. Unfortunately the carbonara wasn't original like the Italian one. An Italian doesn't use cream for the sauce. It only consists of eggs, bacon and peccorino. Add some cooking water from the spaghetti and fresh black pepper. Pizza was good but you can get it better. Conclusion, it's a shame actually. Because the ambience is very nice and makes you expect more.

Good morning, my wife and I have been going here for years. I always eat the baby squid grilled with spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncini. The fact that the portions are getting smaller and smaller during this time is a gift. But today I got 2 tablespoons of something scraped out of the pan, way too salty. There was no calamari to be seen. Neither grilled nor tasty nor sufficient. And no pepperoncini in the spaghetti. The waitress recommended my wife an open wine for 11 euros a glass. I have never written a bad review. It's really hard for me to describe my disappointment.

The best Italian restaurant! If I could give it 20 stars or more I would. I fell in love with the Spaghetti Carbonara, the pizzas with the perfect dough and the tiramisu 😍😍 spectacular. The waiters are very friendly at all times. It is definitely a place I want to return to a thousand times more.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the region! Everything we have tried so far has been delicious, the service has always been friendly and funny and the atmosphere is great. What we particularly like here is the pizza pizza, we had never eaten it before and if a dessert is suitable, of course the tiramisu!
