The service is always very friendly. The waiter even speaks Spanish. I think the dishes are delicious! I can highly recommend the Linguine al Tartufo. - That's outstanding.

We have been guests at Da Nico from the very beginning. Lately we've been getting more pizzas, which are really good. But what we experienced last Saturday was incredible. We had reserved a table because experience has shown that there is always a lot going on on the weekend. We arrived at 6:30 p.m. and were able to order fairly quickly. The first two starters came less than 15 minutes later - we had to request the other two starters after another 20 minutes. They came a good 30 minutes later. We had to request bread for the soup separately - it came when the soup was almost cold. Afterwards we waited for an hour without anyone informing us about the status of the order. Guests who arrived after us received their main courses. Others already had their dessert. A third table that came with us was occupied and served several times during this time. We didn't see any waiters anymore - you couldn't even wave because no eye contact was made. So I went to the counter to ask about our main courses and was brushed off. He would come to the table. Another 10 minutes later the waiter came and said he had called for the main course as soon as the starter was ready. Then we got the main course. Pasta with porcini mushrooms - visually unappealing and not good in taste either. Porcini mushrooms soggy and totally overcooked. Saltimbocca pale and also not visually appealing. Pizza very good as usual. Pasta with scallops and prawns without scallops. After we complained about the missing scallop, we were told that it had been cut into small pieces. Who does something like that? It belongs on top as a highlight. We also didn't find any chopped scallops. It's a shame... so after almost 3 hours and over 180 EUR we went home lighter and will only get pizza in the future.

Wir waren geschäftlich hier und haben uns sehr über das sehr gute Essen gefreut. Eine Reservierung ist sehr zu empfehlen, da das Restaurant auch unter der Woche sehr gut besucht Bar. Einziger Minuspunkt: der Pizzaofen ist in der Nähe des Sitzbereichs, weshalb wir alle noch ein paar Tage später etwas vom Geruch hatten.

We have been coming here to eat here several times on vacation for many years and have never been disappointed. There is a weekly changing lunch menu with delicious dishes for little money.

We have been vacationing on Lake Constance for many years and every time we come to “DaNico”, which was initially really top class, but has since deteriorated, especially when it comes to service. Orders are forgotten, served at long intervals, and requests for garlic oil, salt/pepper, etc. are ignored. It's a shame, because that was better. However, the food is still good to very good.

Wir waren während unseres Urlaubs in Kressbronn hier. Telefonisch einen Tag zuvor einen Tisch reserviert…. Bei der Ankunft war der Tisch im überfüllten, schlecht belüfteten Restaurant noch belegt. Die Gäste an „ unserem Tisch“ wurden gebeten zu gehen….peinlich wenn man so knapp belegt!! Das Essen war mittelmäßig und nach der ersten Getränkelieferung geht die Aufmerksamkeit des Personals auf „0“ zurück…..entweder man stellt dem Kellner ein Bein oder man verdurstet (ich dachte immer, ein Gastronom verdient sein Geld an Getränken - dem ist wohl beim Italiener nicht so!) am Nachbartisch wurde ebenfalls zum Aufstehen aufgefordert weil bereits neue Gäste da waren…..nicht freundlich, sondern barsch……geht gar nicht! Im vergangenen Jahr waren wir ebenfalls in Kressbronn und auch hier - das gleiche Theater…..das ist wohl hier Standard - leider….. ich kann leider nur vom Besuch dieses „Restaurants“ abraten…..die Qualität entspricht der einer guten Pommes-Bude aber für diese Preise bekommt man in und um Kressbronn herum deutlich bessere Qualität UND nettes Personal. Leider ist dieser Italiener eine Schande seiner Zunft. Frank Lautenbach

Unfortunately my meal was only half a portion, and even the pizza bread I ordered was served after my main course. I then took this with me, which was given to me stacked in aluminum foil without a pizza box.

We had dinner there on Sunday evening. The food was good. The service staff friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had to wait more than an hour for our pizzas. Our impression was that the pizzas were preferred to go. A lot of pizzas were made to go. Unfortunately, we were only told at the end that this happens often. If we had known we would have to wait over 1 hour we would have gone somewhere else.

On the way back from Bregenz to Birnau we wanted to have an Italian dinner and consulted TripAdvisor. We came across da Nico. We weren't impressed by the occasional bad reviews and that was a good thing. It was busy, but no guests were turned away. The nice waiters had the perfect overview of when a table would be available again. The atmosphere under the large awning was very pleasant and the waiters had a lot to do, but were in a good mood and attentive. The drinks were served quickly and we didn't have to wait long for the pizzas either. Nice and big and crispy! Both special requests for the surface were taken into account. The icing on the cake was the best espresso I've had in a long time. Many thanks to the da Nico team!

Auf dem Rückweg von Bregenz nach Birnau wollten wir italienisch zu Abend essen und haben den TripAdvisor konsultiert. Dabei sind wir auf da Nico gestoßen. Von den vereinzelten schlechten Bewertungen haben wir uns nicht beeindrucken lassen und das war gut so. Es herrschte Hochbetrieb, aber kein Gast wurde weggeschickt. Die netten Kellner hatten den perfekten Überblick, wann gleich wieder ein Tisch frei würde. Die Atmosphäre unter der großen en Markise war sehr angenehm und die Kellner hatten viel zu tun, waren dabei aber gut gelaunt und aufmerksam. Die Getränke waren schnell serviert und auch auf die Pizzen mussten wir nicht lange warten. Schön groß und knusprig! Beide Sonderwünsche für den Belag wurden berücksichtigt. Die Krönung war dann der beste Espresso, den ich seit langem getrunken habe. Herzlichen Dank an das Team von da Nico!

Quite okay. The service was good, the lunch business is probably not that important. Spaghetti with garlic and oil like pizza bread shouldn't be witchcraft, apparently it is. The lid of the pepper shaker was not screwed on, here too - unfortunately my bad luck. No matter, Italians are a dime a dozen, then we'll try the next one. Too bad about the money.

The food is of good quality. However, what is very disturbing is that the service takes your plate away from under your nose when you are just eating your last piece. And while your table partner is still eating.

Salad, pizza and pasta were very tasty. You should get there early as the pizzria is very popular - or make a reservation!! The covered outdoor spaces are very popular in summer. Parking spaces only limited! We'll definitely be back 👌🏼😋

Very bad pizza and even worse pasta dishes, totally unfriendly service. Salad was so bottom drawer. At €6.50 I expect a bit of salad and not just a few carrot strips thrown on lettuce. This store is incredibly reserved. Was 7:30 p.m. Pasta dishes arrived at 8:45 p.m. These were almost eaten. Then only the pizza came up with clues. There was no answer as to whether you could get parmesan with it. Bread for salad (usual at Italians) didn't come either. Price-performance doesn't match either. We were disappointed in our vacation and will never go there again.

Today we had dinner with 10 people, including 3 children. The food was great. Unfortunately, one of the children's dish was forgotten. This can happen in a fully occupied restaurant. More than half an hour later the spaghetti carbonara was served. It's a shame that there was no apology from the waitress and only a ball of ice cream for the child in question when asked as compensation. We weren't even asked if we would like something else to drink, even though all the glasses had been empty on the table for a long time. In summary: food great, service underground.

I'm sorry to say that our visit was disappointing. The restaurant advertises “quality and hospitality,” but unfortunately we didn’t get to experience much of that during our visit. The pizza was below average. The pizza crust was so dry and tough that you couldn't eat it. The salad was an equally big disappointment. No dressing, few boring ingredients and an “Italian hard cheese” (not even parmesan) that burned on the train. There was a couple sitting at the next table who got their dishes 15 minutes apart. The whole experience was garnished by a waiter who always displayed a slight arrogance. Nobody asked if we enjoyed it, which seems to be assumed and completes the distorted self-perception of this restaurant. I was surprised that it was so full and that a lot of people actually picked up food. However, my conclusion remains: absolutely not recommended and FAR away from authentic Italian pizza and cuisine. I'm so sorry.

Lots of free tables today, pizza was very tasty, little slip-up with the STEIN MUSHROOM risotto, the waiter told us that the porcini mushrooms were out and we were getting chanterelles instead. At first it wasn't too bad, but they charged a whopping extra 3 euros for the chanterelles! Without prior information when ordering, you would definitely have chosen a different dish. Won't be eating there again anytime soon. What a pity.....

Very good restaurant where we ate together with 22 business partners and customers. I didn't receive any negative feedback from others and my meal was very good - as we shared, among other things, octopus, bruschetta and a pizza. We can definitely recommend it!

After all the years that I have been visiting Ristoranre, I can only say that the pizzas, salad, pasta dishes and dessert are always worth a visit. In summer, however, you should reserve a table when the weather is nice.

We have been regular guests for over a decade. The pizza is still tasty, the people are friendly. However, it has to be mentioned that the prices have risen considerably and at the same time the pizzas have obviously become smaller. It's a shame that the focus seems to be even more on tourists who willingly accept this. Fortunately, there are now very good pizzerias in the hinterland where the price-performance ratio is more attractive.

We had dinner with 15 people at dinner time. Very, very good Italian cuisine. Quality more than good. f friendly and very nice staff. Conclusion: Highly recommended restaurant, we would recommend it again and again.

We were at the Iriswiese campsite and ordered pizza to go from Da Nico. The pizzas were excellent. By the way, I had a gluten-free pizza and the crust was extremely crispy. I can definitely recommend it. As is always the case with gluten-free pizzas, they become soggy as they cool down. Just put it in the pan, put the lid on and it tastes like it just came out of the oven.

A wonderful restaurant with super nice service and really good food! We felt very comfortable as guests and can only warmly recommend this restaurant. This restaurant is highly recommended for lovers of Italian cuisine... Molto bene!! 🥰

The restruaurent is there since long time. And food is really good. And the prices are also reasonable.

Unfortunately, appetizers are talked out of by the waiter when ordering ("too difficult... lots of take-away orders... takes time"). The main course was served to us individually with a time delay of 10 minutes, so that it was not possible to eat together. The canelloni are not recommended (as some others have written here). A group of musicians disrupt the meal and obtrusively hold their hats in each guest's face until money is thrown in.

An absolutely tasteful restaurant. Not only was the furnishings remarkably high-quality and modern with a great fully glazed wine warehouse, the pizza was available for around 11 euros, but also high-quality grilled fish for 30... the pizza was incredibly tasty, for me the best in Germany. So far!!!the service has been professional and friendly. Visit this restaurant, you'll probably be as excited as we are. Reservation is recommended, especially at peak times...

The German food there is not good at all, we had a steak with porcini mushrooms and potatoes, the porcini mushrooms were frozen beforehand and not edible and the steak was not good. The waiter was very helpful and gave us two drinks for it. The Italian food was very good

It already started that the waiter and the appetizer talked it out because there was a lot going on......OK, then no appetizer. 4 orders placed at the same time.....first one came..... About 15 minutes later the second one, 10 minutes later the other 2. The one meal for 25 euros was a children's portion, then the mushrooms were watery, as was the bit of meat (it was disgusting), we then said au then the boss said "the menu says frozen mushrooms then that would be the taste" The menu said “with porcini mushrooms” 😕 Then we went to McDonald's. The waiter was very friendly and we were given 2 drinks (Spezi). Never again !

We were there yesterday. Very tasty pizza and super friendly staff.

From the beginning: We wanted to eat something in the evening, so we both decided on Canneloni Bolognese. I called and was dealt with very rudely. After I ordered the canelloni, I received an unmotivated, mumbled answer: "I have to ask if that's even available." When I asked, she stopped responding. She then answered the phone again and said 15 minutes. Then we drove there, when I came in I didn't know where to go, I asked and was told "at the back of the counter". I got there, the waitress was sitting at the table, was already doing the billing (it wasn't close yet) and didn't respond, and the waiter also completely ignored me. After I looked around impatiently, someone came who put down a crate of drinks and signaled to the waitress. She nodded briefly and calmly finished her billing... I felt like I was being disturbed... Then she stood up, no hello, just "the cannelloni" and when I wanted to pay by card, she called me to come. Afterwards just a curt “bon appetit”; I wasn’t even looked at the entire time. When we got home, we found 2(!) half-filled (!) canneloni rolls, with spinach filling, no Bolognese! It tasted okay but we paid a total of €23 for a total of 4 half-filled rolls with spinach filling and some bechamel sauce and minimal cheese. Ergo: Service was extremely "not in the mood", food was way too small and we got the wrong thing, tasted ok. We won't be coming back.

I recently enjoyed the Risotto Verde at Da Nico Restaurant and was impressed by the variety of flavors. The dish was deliciously prepared and the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant. However, there was a small incident with the service. Our dessert was forgotten and we had to wait a while for it. This marred the overall positive experience a little. Overall, the visit to Da Nico was still nice, but there is still room for improvement in the service area.

Sehr leckere italienische Küche kann ich nur empfehlen.nur wenn man hin geht jetzt im Winter muss man meistens reservieren im Sommer geht es außer man kommt mit mehreren Personen (abends). Ich kann es nür empfehlen da essen zu gehen Personal ist immer freundlich.

Es war viel los, daher hat man für ein paar sachen noch Verständnis. Mussten erst mal 20 Minuten drinnen rumstehen bis wir trotz Reservierung einen Tisch bekamen. Dann ging es ewig bis wir unsere Getränke und später unser Essen hatten. Die Vorspeisen Salate wurden dabei komplett vergessen. Getränke Nachbestellung kam nicht an. Wenn keine frischen Brotstücke vorhanden sind, werden Reste aus Brotkörbchen die bereits bei anderen Leuten standen, zusammengeschüttet (angerissene Stücke aussortiert) und finden dann den weg zum nächsten Tisch. Ich weiß das Umbestellungen mehr kosten können, Meine Freundin wollte anstatt Spaghetti, Gnocchi haben, aber dann doch bitte nicht 2€ für höchstens 10 Stück. Und vorallem Nachdem so viel schief gegangen ist, und wir mehr als Geduldig waren, trotzallem über 5 euro Trinkgeld gaben, "keinerlei kleine Wiedergutmachung" in Form eines Likörs, oder das wenigstens einer der von uns bestellten Espresso aufs Haus geht, ist schon sehr schwach finde ich!.

Wir waren seid längerer Zeit mal wieder hier zum Essen.Wir wurden freundlich zu unserem reservierten Tisch begleitet, die Bestellung incl. Getränke wurden schnell aufgenommen. Beim Salat fehlte die Pfeffermühle, Brot wurde uns erst nach einer Nachfrage serviert, Penne Arrabiata wurde ohne Käse serviert und die Portionen zu früher deutlich kleiner, ja Schade nicht mehr das Da Nico von früher!?

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und hatten Lust auf Pizza. Wir hatten hier eine sehr leckere Pizza mit Getränk zum fairen Preis vom Mittagsangebot bekommen. Service war nett und schnell. Genau richtig für die Mittagspause.

.... guter Italiener. Freundlich, engagiert. Warum man Oregano als Trockenpulver auf eine Pizza macht und nicht in die Sauce einarbeitet o.ä. bleibt wohl der Küche vorenthalten.
