If there were any negative stars, I would give them. The Rissani plate I ordered came on a small plate, which was probably intended to make the portion look larger. Unfortunately, this only resulted in bits constantly falling off the plate while eating. Halloumi and falafel aren't freshly made, but simply heated in the deep fryer. This was different under the previous owner, and you can taste it. The spicy sauce was more of a mildly spicy cream, only the garlic cream lived up to its name. Otherwise, a huge pile of carrots, a little parsley, and meat. I couldn't get to the hummus; all the vegetables were on it. Somewhat disappointed, I wanted to pay and said so. Since the owner? Waiter? was standing bored next to the counter and didn't respond, I repeated myself. He looked at me and said in a completely arrogant manner: "Well then, come up here." I think the look on my face was priceless.

The very friendly Palestinian owner cooks authentically, just like at home. The food is divine and very reasonably priced. After today's experience, we've decided to definitely come back. Unfortunately, things are getting worse and worse there. We had a Rissani plate. The meat was cold. Also, some of it was cut very thickly. The garlic sauce also tastes just awful. It tastes like store-bought. It's a shame; it used to be better there. Can't recommend it!

I really reccomend this place, the atmosphere Is very nice and characteristic. The owner Is an amazing person who really embrace arabic culture and manners. We ordered the big plate for two people and It was flavorful and abundant. On top of that, I had the best falafal of my life.

My daughter always enjoyed the vegetarian falafel with hummus and her favorite tabbouleh. The atmosphere is pleasant, the decor is pretty, and it was a quiet time. The order was delivered quickly. We'll definitely be back.

Update 06/01/25 I went there again after a long time and immediately had a negative impression. The oil looked very old with residue, the salad was practically empty and didn't taste fresh. The sauces were kind of weird, and the waitress kept saying something I couldn't understand. This wasn't the place I remembered. Too bad, because I can't recommend it anymore! -------- The best falafel we've ever eaten. Homemade and fresh, too. Cozy atmosphere and friendly salespeople.

The shop initially seemed inconspicuous to me from the outside, but the first impression was deceptive. I was more than positively surprised by the quality of the food as not only was it all freshly prepared, but it was also very cheap. The service is very friendly and you don't have to wait too long for your food. The store also has a very nice atmosphere and you just feel comfortable. Even though it took me a little longer to get there, it definitely wasn't the last time I ate at Rissani.

And it really makes me sad. The carrot salad was no longer good. taste musty and the consistency is very soft. Spoiled from our point of view. When there was a piece of metal in the food, we were outraged. And it's not just that it's dangerous. Something like that simply shouldn't happen.

Cozy Arabian Gem in Bernau I recently visited Rissani, an Arabian restaurant in and I find it fantastic! The ambiance, is cozy and inviting, perfect for a comfortable dining experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in recommending dishes. We ordered shawarma, falafel, fries, and lentil soup. The shawarma and falafel, in particular, were highlights, and the fries were excellent too! We also had some nutty sweets for dessert. The Prices are reasonable, making it an ideal spot for a quick, satisfying meal. Highly recommended for anyone in the area!

Actually, there's not really anything inviting inside, there are bits and bobs lying around everywhere and it's dark and depressing. But they make an effort, it's nice and friendly and everything I've eaten there so far has been tasty and sufficient. Simply make the store a little more modern and tidy.

Der Rissani-Imbiss hat sich bei TooGoodToGo angemeldet und fühlt sich nicht an sein Angebot gebunden.So fährt man abends nach 22:00 Uhr zum Imbiss und wird ohne Entschuldigung weggeschickt. Der Betreiber wolle nicht bei TGTG mitmachen wird einem mitgeteilt. Nachdem der Betreiber wechselte hat der Schawarma schon geschmacklich nachgelassen. Mit dem aktuellen Service gibt es nun keinen Grund mehr dort einzukehren

Whoever gave this shawarma 5 stars has no idea what a shawarma even is. What is offered there as “shawarma” is just too offensive, carrots, for example, have no place in a shawarma and it simply doesn’t taste good. The meat is inferior. Selling something like that as shawarma should be a criminal offense, even in Traiffzone C!

We have been going to Bernau specifically to eat shawarma there for years. However, that was the last time. The counter looked bad, the food didn't taste good at all. There was hair in the shawarma. The bread was old. It's a shame that the new owners are ruining the shop and its previous very good reputation.

Great little snack bar in downtown Bernau. Easy to reach on foot, even from public transport, but finding a parking space is a bit difficult. We always pick up locally and take it home - freshly prepared and great service. I find both the shawarma and falafel very tasty. The breads traditionally contain hummus - also very tasty! For me, by far the best shawarma in the Berlin area (and Berlin too, but I haven't tried it extensively yet). Important - cash payment only. Prices are super affordable (2024 - 5€ shawarma or falafel bag). Clear recommendation if you are in the city center.

Immer gutes leckeres Essen! Leider kommen sie immer wieder bei Bestellungen durcheinander wenn man telefonisch bestellt und dann wird es auch erst zubereitet wenn man vor Ort ist. Lieber gleich hinfahren und dort bestellen. Essen ist lecker und preiswert!

Today I was here for the first time after the change of ownership and I have to say - EVERYTHING was great. Yes, the sauces taste different but not bad and the portions are still good! A schwarma and falafel plate was ordered.

Although a new operator has apparently taken over the snack bar, the halloumi kebab (especially the halloumi kebab ;-)) still tastes very tasty...everything was freshly prepared and I was served politely. The atmosphere could use some freshening up!

Unfortunately I can confirm the problem after the change of ownership. The food is no longer the same. Per: - Staff very nice - Portion more than generous Cons: - The in-house seasoning of the raw vegetable salads is missing, so it's just run of the mill. I'm sorry for everyone who never got to taste them - the sauces were always homemade, but are now from the retort - Falafel are pre-produced, if you're lucky you'll get fresh and warm ones - Meat was too coarse and not well seasoned I was a fan from the first few hours and now, disappointed, I won't be coming back.
