Cozy Arabian Gem in Bernau I recently visited Rissani, an Arabian restaurant in and I find it fantastic! The ambiance, is cozy and inviting, perfect for a comfortable dining experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in recommending dishes. We ordered shawarma, falafel, fries, and lentil soup. The shawarma and falafel, in particular, were highlights, and the fries were excellent too! We also had some nutty sweets for dessert. The Prices are reasonable, making it an ideal spot for a quick, satisfying meal. Highly recommended for anyone in the area!

Actually, there's not really anything inviting inside, there are bits and bobs lying around everywhere and it's dark and depressing. But they make an effort, it's nice and friendly and everything I've eaten there so far has been tasty and sufficient. Simply make the store a little more modern and tidy.

Der Rissani-Imbiss hat sich bei TooGoodToGo angemeldet und fühlt sich nicht an sein Angebot gebunden.So fährt man abends nach 22:00 Uhr zum Imbiss und wird ohne Entschuldigung weggeschickt. Der Betreiber wolle nicht bei TGTG mitmachen wird einem mitgeteilt. Nachdem der Betreiber wechselte hat der Schawarma schon geschmacklich nachgelassen. Mit dem aktuellen Service gibt es nun keinen Grund mehr dort einzukehren

Whoever gave this shawarma 5 stars has no idea what a shawarma even is. What is offered there as “shawarma” is just too offensive, carrots, for example, have no place in a shawarma and it simply doesn’t taste good. The meat is inferior. Selling something like that as shawarma should be a criminal offense, even in Traiffzone C!

We have been going to Bernau specifically to eat shawarma there for years. However, that was the last time. The counter looked bad, the food didn't taste good at all. There was hair in the shawarma. The bread was old. It's a shame that the new owners are ruining the shop and its previous very good reputation.

Great little snack bar in downtown Bernau. Easy to reach on foot, even from public transport, but finding a parking space is a bit difficult. We always pick up locally and take it home - freshly prepared and great service. I find both the shawarma and falafel very tasty. The breads traditionally contain hummus - also very tasty! For me, by far the best shawarma in the Berlin area (and Berlin too, but I haven't tried it extensively yet). Important - cash payment only. Prices are super affordable (2024 - 5€ shawarma or falafel bag). Clear recommendation if you are in the city center.

Ordered a Halumi in bread for €5. Unfortunately, the bread was cold and the halumi cheese (thinly sliced ​​to 2mm!) was only lukewarm. Terrible, not worth €5. A pity...

After the change of ownership, the portions for the party buffet are only half portions. Whenever I get a little hungry, I order the party buffet.🫣 If you want to feed 20 people, it's better to order 20 shawarma. We are disappointed and have learned from it.

Unfortunately, it deteriorated significantly after the change of ownership. Meat is often already cut off and sits in the collecting area for ages, so it then has to be heated in the microwave. Hummus is no longer homemade, but comes from a bucket. A pity!

The saying “customer is king” is taken very seriously here, very friendly staff and the food is great, you definitely can’t complain!!!

Immer gutes leckeres Essen! Leider kommen sie immer wieder bei Bestellungen durcheinander wenn man telefonisch bestellt und dann wird es auch erst zubereitet wenn man vor Ort ist. Lieber gleich hinfahren und dort bestellen. Essen ist lecker und preiswert!

Today I was here for the first time after the change of ownership and I have to say - EVERYTHING was great. Yes, the sauces taste different but not bad and the portions are still good! A schwarma and falafel plate was ordered.

Although a new operator has apparently taken over the snack bar, the halloumi kebab (especially the halloumi kebab ;-)) still tastes very tasty...everything was freshly prepared and I was served politely. The atmosphere could use some freshening up!

Unfortunately I can confirm the problem after the change of ownership. The food is no longer the same. Per: - Staff very nice - Portion more than generous Cons: - The in-house seasoning of the raw vegetable salads is missing, so it's just run of the mill. I'm sorry for everyone who never got to taste them - the sauces were always homemade, but are now from the retort - Falafel are pre-produced, if you're lucky you'll get fresh and warm ones - Meat was too coarse and not well seasoned I was a fan from the first few hours and now, disappointed, I won't be coming back.

Just had an extremely good shawarma here. Far better than 90 percent of Berlin stores. In addition, the employees are incredibly friendly, open and focused on the guest. Definitely coming back!!

It hurts my heart, but the new operators are unable to maintain the old, very good standard. I've been there 4 times since the change and the quality has steadily declined. The falafel are just dry, the sauces no longer taste good, and I had what felt like stale bread. After so many years of wonderful food, Rissani has now unfortunately failed due to new managers who probably wanted to increase profits.

Hey guys, you should definitely stop by Rissani. They have really delicious shawarmas and much more. The meat is juicy and well seasoned, the sauces are super tasty. The atmosphere there is very pleasant and the staff is very friendly. A great place for anyone who loves shawarma!

I ordered a shawarma (which costs €5). It was the worst shawarma I have ever eaten. Dry old bread, tasteless dry vegetables. I threw everything away. Not only was the food terrible, but the chef was cooking with dirty hands that he had just used to hold his cell phone and mind his own business. I will never go to this restaurant again. I don't understand why this place has a 4.7 rating.

I've eaten there again for a while and find the food from the new operators very tasty. They cook with the same recipes and it has the same charm. Delicious!

It was my absolute favorite shop in Bernau, unfortunately the quality and taste decreased significantly after only a short time after the change of ownership. The sauces have clearly lost quality and appear to be purchased ready-made sauces. The shawarma is only half full and is now served cold... Otherwise, special requests are responded to in a very friendly manner and a very friendly relationship is maintained. The owner seems visibly overwhelmed with larger orders; orders are asked for 2-3 times during preparation. I still think it's nice that someone has been found to continue running the store. However, it must be made clear that he is currently only drawing on the very good reputation of the past 20 years. I hope we can still get things going here, the shop only survives through its regular customers. If you scare them away through cost-cutting measures or financial optimization (no longer making your own sauce, etc.), it will be difficult without walk-in customers in Bernau.

Ich habe viel im Leben gegessen doch solche unglaubliche Gerichte selten gekostet ich empfehle es wirklich weiter der neue Inhaber Adnan Saleh hat mir eine Art Gastfreundlichkeit gezeigt die ich selten sehe ich war komplett überwältigt es war der wunderschönste Restaurant Besuch den ich je hatten WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

Super authentisch und richtig lecker!

In diesem Restaurant erlebte ich nicht nur eine vielfältige und köstliche Auswahl an Gerichten, sondern auch einen herausragenden Service. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Qualität der Speisen überzeugte durch Frische und sorgfältige Zubereitung. Ein kulinarisches Highlight, das ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann!

Ich hörte gutes über den Laden und bin deswegen einfach mal unvoreingenommen rein gegangen. Der Laden wirkt schlicht und allgemein nicht modern, was auch nicht weiter schlimm ist. Ich wurde sofort gut bedient und die Küche war schön sauber. Gemüse, Soße, Fleisch und Brot werden alle frisch zubereitet. Ich bestellte also zum Einstieg einen Shawarma mit Alles. Der für 5€ echt ein solides Gewicht hatte. Der Shawarma war schön warm und alles harmonierte. Geschmacklich wirklich eine Empfehlung wert. Der Service war sehr nett und ging neben dem Zubereiten auch noch auf andere Kunden ein. Zusammengefasst kann man sagen, dass man den Laden echt mal besuchen sollte. Ich werde auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder vorbeischauen.

Wir haben jetzt mal nach dem Wechsel den neuen Besitzer getestet und sind sehr zufrieden gewesen! Lecker arabische Küche!!!

Ich habe von der neuen Bewirtschaftung des Rissani-Imbiss gehört und mir heute selbst ein Bild gemacht. Ich bin positiv überrascht. Die Salate super frisch und knackig, Fleisch super Qualität und die Saucen sind keine Fertigproduktion, wie manch woanders. Alles im Allen super stimmig. Die neuen Inhaber sind sehr nett und man merkt die Mühe und Liebe, die sie dort reinstecken. Alles Gute weiterhin!

Leckeres Essen. Mal was anderes zu den Standard Restaurants in der Umgebung. Nettes Personal.

Shawarma: Brot ungetoastet und labrig. Verhältnis von Fleisch zu Salat extrem schlecht. Zuerst nur Karotten und 1-2 Salatgurkenscheiben und viel zu viel Soße und dann nur Fleisch, bei diesem aber Knorpel bei war...extrem ekelig! Alles in allem sehr schlecht und nicht zu empfehlen! Der Namoura Kuchen war gut, allerdings keine Ahnung ob er selbst gemacht ist, sah gekauft aus.

Gutes Restaurant (Die Shisha in der ecke am Fenster macht es aus)

Auch nach Eigentümerwechsel immer noch sehr lecker. Der Sohn der ehemaligen Eigentümer soll wohl weiterhin dort arbeiten. Auch das Team, das bei den Vorbereitungen hilft, bleibt gleich. Der neue Eigentümer war sehr freundlich. Ich freue mich, dass der Rissani -Imbiss in Bernau erhalten bleibt und wünsche dem Ehepaar Tiba einen schönen Ruhestand.

Nach Eigentümerwechsel nun leider deutlich schlechter. Falafel werden nicht mehr frisch gemacht und sind trocken und nur halb warm. Soßen schmecken bis auf die Knoblauchsoße nicht mehr. Vor allem die scharfe Soße ist plötzlich auf einer Art Curryketchupbasis. Das Fleisch auf dem Rissaniteller war kalt und alles schmeckte wie ungewürzt. Ich hoffe das die neuen Eigentümer versuchen den alten Standard wieder herzustellen.

Waren jetzt zum 2. Mal dort die Rissani-Platte holen. Ein ausgiebiges Mahl, sehr lecker und mit dem besten der libanesischen Küche, wie ich es in Deutschland kenne ;-) Schawarma, Halloumi, Humus und Falaffel..Eine wirklich herzhafte und ausgewogene Kombination!

Laßt euch von dem Aussehen des Ladens nicht täuschen, das Essen dort ist fantastisch. Ich persönlich kann das Schawarma mit Hummus empfehlen, immer frisch, immer lecker. Für private Partys werden große Platten angeboten mit einer bunten Mischung. Kann ich ebenfalls nur empfehlen. :)

Ich weiß nicht ob ich in Berlin einen besseren Falafel kenne. Alleine dafür lohnt sich ein Besuch in Bernau :) Dazu richtig nette Menschen. Gerne wieder.

Zdecydowanie polecam. Jedzenie podane szybko i bardzo ciepłe. Shawarma dobrze doprawiona i duża porcja. Bardzo miła i kulturalna obsługa. Blisko dworca i centrum Z pewnością będę wracał Grüße aus Polen :)

Ein Traum seid Jahren Gutes Schwarma und andere essen. Es ist sehr zu empfehlen und man merkt auch wieviel liebe hier in der Zubereitung steckt Soßen sind top und Salat ist immer frisch. Auch die frischen Säfte sind der Wahnsinn. Ein echter Tipp für alle mit Geschmack.
