I was in the restaurant again today and luckily a table was reserved because it was packed... And why? … rightly so! ... Great cozy atmosphere... Every dish (now at least 20 different ones) tastes simply delicious and SERVICE is written in CAPITAL :) ... I've been a regular guest for 6 years and will continue to be one.

We have been coming regularly for 4 years. We absolutely love being here, no other Greek can make the Gigantes as fantastically tasty (I tried it, several times😄), the dishes are unique. Big compliments to the kitchen. The service is exceptional, very friendly, absolutely attentive.... long waiting... none here. Here you can linger for a long time in the restaurant. The warm white light and the wood in the restaurant make you feel very comfortable and you can escape from everyday life. A little culinary journey directly in Bernau. For me, for us, the best Greek in the area. ⭐️🫶

Food good. Different beers also good. I was allowed to sit outside a little earlier before opening time because there were five of us. Service nice and friendly. There is not too much traffic in the place and there is some privacy from the street.

We were here at the invitation of the family, the atmosphere was truly Greek, the service was very nice and helpful in choosing dishes from the menu. Very good treatment of children and smiling all the time The dishes we ordered from the menu for PLN 27,40,50 were very good. And a glass of homemade ouzo before and after serving the dishes. We are from Gryfino in Poland, but we will probably visit ATHOS in Bernau I highly recommend this restaurant

I recently had two lovely experiences at this restaurant. The summery evening weather was fantastic and it was wonderful to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. The staff were friendly and hospitable and remembered me from this first time. The food was very homely and tasty. I would definitely visit again on a future visit to Bernau.

Like everywhere else, the prices are pretty high. I don't order extra tzatziki for €6 anymore. Otherwise, the food is delicious... and the staff are always friendly, even in stressful situations.

My family has been coming here since it opened many, many years ago. We celebrated our youth ordination here, my wedding and we always enjoy coming here with colleagues. It is a house of Greek hospitality, which is still practiced here and every guest is warmly welcomed.

I ordered a gyro plate to take away, I was able to take it with me quickly and it tasted good.

We went there spontaneously to eat. The waiters were friendly and on the ball. Our orders were taken quickly and the food was ready quickly. It tasted good too. So basically there was nothing to burn👍 Ouzu as a welcome and also for the bill free of charge. Great👍

A Greek through and through, just the way you want it if you want to go out for a delicious Greek meal. We even do our regular rounds there now, so that should give the best impression in terms of hospitality.

Unfortunately, our visit there was not so pleasant. It started with us reserving a table and then getting a seat next to the toilet. Upon request we received a new table. My cocktail, a swimming pool, was unfortunately missing coconut milk/cream, which was a shame. The starter salad was poor. Very small and the carrots had seen better days. Our starter was okay. Tzaziki and garlic bread, although the bread was unfortunately not crispy but rather soft. For the main course I had chicken breast with Metaxa sauce and Athos potatoes. The potatoes were supposed to be gratinated with a cheese sauce, but they tasted more like a hollondaise and were unfortunately very dark in some places. Unfortunately, the potatoes weren't crispy again but were very wobbly/smooth and possibly a bit burnt. By the way, our garlic potatoes were cold. Of course we made our displeasure clear to the staff. Friendly but critical. We got a curt response that wasn't very friendly. We were also not offered to "fix" the food as you would expect when something is cold. We had to pay full price. The 5 ouzo that we got in 1 hour should be positively mentioned. That's why there's 1 star. We will not visit this Greek again. Once and never again.

We had dinner here today, service and food were good. What was annoying was that the door to the tent annex was opened and all the cigarette smoke came in. Unfortunately, I thought it was a shame that no attention was paid to this, especially since there were a lot of children in the restaurant. I won't come again under the circumstances.

It's a bit crowded in the restaurant. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Price performance is right. The food is as you would expect in a German Greek tavern. Well, the free ouzo isn't something to sneeze at either.

Vor dem Kinoabend noch ein kleinen Abstecher zu unserem lieblings Griechen zum Essen gemacht. Wurden wieder sehr herzlich von den Personal empfangen, als wäre man ein Familienmitglied was man lange nicht mehr gesehen hat😊. Das Essen, der Service und das Ambiente war wieder richtig super..

Nach langer Zeit mal wieder zu Besuch in diesem Restaurant, war es echt enttäuscht. Die Teller sehr lieblos angerichtet. Gegrilltes Hähnchenfilet, 4 Kroketten, Zaziki und ein großes Blatt vom Eisbergsalat. Geschmacklich war es gut! Ich hatte das Gefühl,das man schnell abgefertigt wird. Personal war überwiegend freundlich.

Wir waren mit der Familie dort und waren begeistert. Das Ambiente ist ur Gemütlich und der Service freundliche Griechische Gastlichkeit. Das Essen war bei uns allen sehr schnell auf dem Tisch und hat vor allem sehr gut geschmeckt. Preis Leistung ist hier überdurchschnittlich gut und wir kommen gerne wieder. 👍

Wir kennen das Restaurant von Anfang an und waren jetzt sehr froh, dass es nach einem Durchhänger vor ein paar Jahren jetzt wieder fast so nett und lecker ist wie früher! Bisschen zu teuer und ein bisschen zu wenig raffiniert und Geld für die DoggyBagteller sorgen aber für 1 Stern Abzug.

Endlich mal ein echtes und authentisches griechisches Restaurant mit echten Griechen. Und nicht ein so ein pseudo Grieche wie man sie öfters findet. Hier schmeckt es sehr gut. Sehr nette und freundliche Bedienung. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Leider können wir die super guten Bewertungen nicht teilen. Der Service war ziemlich chaotisch und nur ok. Das Essen war geschmacklos, lieblos angerichtet und dafür nicht einmal günstig. Kein Grund hinzugehen.

Freundliche nette Bedienung, die Preise sind in den letzten Jahren schon arg gestiegen, und die Kellner + Chef sind sehr oft mit der Flasche Ouzo gekommen ;-) jetzt nicht mehr Mhh schade. Ist wohl nicht mehr nötig. Ach ja. dass Essen ist aber immer noch gut.

Ich war auf der "Durchreise" und dachte mir griechisch - also kulinarisch - wäre mal ne gute Idee. Google hat mich dann in dieses gemütliche Restaurant geführt. Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn. Essen war top, Service war top, es ging wirklich zügig und das Ambiente hat echt gestimmt. Da kehre ich bei Gelegenheit wieder ein.

Ich persönlich verbringe dort seeeeeehr gern gemütliche Stunden. Und auch sehr oft. Ich fühle mich immer wohl und das Essen ist soooo lecker. Man wird immer zuvorkommend bedient und das Personal hat immer einen lockeren Spruch auf den Lippen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Athos ist eine Institution in Bernau, es ist immer lecker und sehr reichlich, der Service ist spitze !

Leider stimmt für uns das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis hier überhaupt nicht. Für ein gewöhnliches Hefeweizen sind fast 5€ fällig und alle weiteren Speisen und Getränke sind in unseren Augen in Anbetracht der Qualität absolut überteuert. Was Sonderwünsche angeht ist man hier nicht flexibel. Eine halbe Portion wird mengenmäßig halbiert, jedoch klappt es hier beim Preis nicht, diesen zu halbieren. Merkwürdig.. Dieses Restaurant ist in unseren Augen nicht für Vegetarier geeignet! Das ist wirklich nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder.

Nice location Bernau downtown. They offer a huge area for sitting outside. The Menu is quite big but the food came fast. Everything was very delicious and fresh. Free Ouzo was severed frequently. The restaurant is an absolute recommendation
