Risa Chicken in Berlin

Hey, that chicken was a real joke. Half raw inside, somehow warmed up on the outside, and the marinade—wow, tasted like nothing. The salad was just decoration, forget it. And then they want extra money for every little thing. Nah, I'm definitely not going there again.

Seriously, their food is inedible. The chicken was half raw, as if it was quickly heated, and the seasoning was indescribably bad. The salad also tasted bad, with no taste or appearance. And the worst thing is that they charge you for everything separately! From experience, I wouldn't recommend anyone going there.

The food was unfortunately disappointing. The chicken wasn't cooked properly and seemed to have just been reheated. It was tasteless and unappetizing, and it didn't look fresh either. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

Terrible experience. The grilled chicken was undercooked and tasted as if it had just been reheated. The marination was the worst I've ever had-bland, uneven, and unpleasant. Even the salad offered no relief. Add to that the constant extra charges for every little thing, and it's simply not worth the visit.

Unfortunately, it has become very bad. The chicken is so rancid that you feel it was too much the day before and then they put it back in the fridge again.

The chicken and burgers here are tasty, halal, and served at a price that’s hard to beat. If you want a quick, filling meal without spending much, this spot delivers.

Along with the chicken pieces, you get a free Koran in the bag, what more could you want!

5 stars for the half chicken option. That is very good, juicy and flavourful. 2 stars to all the other options (wings, fliets, etc). They serve their purpose if your are hungry but "good" means something else. I never need a toilet right after eating a chicken burger in other restaurants.

It's a shame that the crispy fillets have become so expensive and so much smaller. And sometimes they're cold, too. Unfortunately, I wasn't full and will probably come less often in the future. What a pity!

I treated myself to half a chicken with fries and two chicken pieces – everything was great: juicy, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. Exactly what you want when hunger strikes. Unfortunately, the flatbread wasn't quite convincing. It had a strange aftertaste, as if it had already had a long day. Otherwise, it was really delicious – I'd gladly come back (maybe just without the bread next time 😉).

The guys there are really nice, and the food is delicious. Very nice atmosphere and fast service. Sonnenalle 26 guys make it a great place, even at 11 p.m.

My boyfriend ended up in the hospital because he had food poisoning after eating a bad chicken wing. And he left his review and they deleted it. I guess because they don’t want to look bad, but it’s actually dangerous.

Great lebanese (?) chicken diner in the vibrant Neukölln area. Cyclic charcoal rotisserie. Mostly packed, but worth the wait or take-away visit. Hard to find a parking space. Accessible for disabled. Strictly non smokers.

Risa Chicken in Berlin is super delicious and reminds me of the famous chicken chain. If you like good halal chicken, you should definitely stop by here!

We were here at 23:50 in neukolln so one side says go to the other ones and the others go to the other side i dont know if they were like joking or something so while were talking another employe comes speaking another language to another colleague wearing a white cap i dont is like it every time when you close up like this you joke around with all you’re guests

It's 1 hour until closing, the employee says we're closed and leaves us without an order, also known as Mrg Risa, the employees look on.

I really enjoy eating at Risa, but the branch on Sonnenallee is a real disaster, which is a real shame. It's a world of difference compared to the Tempelhof location. Some employees think they're at a barbecue, and the way they treat the guests is truly a disaster. Something urgently needs to change soon. I hope the boss reads this and does something.

My rating: I visited the restaurant. The service was good and the food was OK, but unfortunately the atmosphere was not pleasant. Today I was there with friends, the chicken was not cooked. We were not happy.

When me and my family came into the shops it was very full, we ordered fries, chicken, rice and salad, they said it would only take 15 minutes, after these 15 minutes the food finally came, I expected more, the chicken was raw and red, my whole family had a stomach ache afterwards, when we wanted to give the chicken back they just took it away without saying anything, the bread wasn't fresh either, just old, it didn't taste good at all, I wouldn't recommend the restaurant, I'd rather eat somewhere else go! (I would actually give 0 stars.)

The roasted chicken has a terrible smell, when i claimed it they were very aggressive, they exchange the plate but smell was still terrible and seems expired. I can never go back there again.

Very good alternative in contrast to other chicken houses that don't offer Helal

I ordered 14 wings, 6 of the wings had a single bone and were raw. Even though I showed it to your staff they said they couldn't make a change. It wasn't cooked and they didn't replace the flour. I know this because I worked at KFC for years. Since your staff isn't helping me, I'm taking the wings home and cooking them a bit more.

I just wanted half a chicken with the usual side dish, like pickled cucumber, toum, flatbread. The employee didn't listen and just added 6 small toums and 1 whole bag of flatbread. I looked at the price at the till and it suddenly said 10.20€ instead of 5.20€ :D. Then I told him I didn't want 6 small toums or a whole pack of flatbread, then he deducted 2€ from the 6 small toums and 1 euro from the bread and strangely enough it was still 7.20€ instead of 5.20€. And then after a good 5 minutes of wasting time I saw that the pickles weren't even there, so I went up to the front and asked and was told they cost extra :D then he got an extra 1.50€ from the 7.20€ :D and suddenly it was 8.70€ in the end. He didn't give me the receipt for the prices either, he gave me another piece of paper with a "call number" as a distraction. In the past when I said half a chicken: side dish 1 flatbread, several small tomatoes and pickles. Cost 5.20€, as it still says on the menu. The atmosphere was also unprofessional, someone who was hard of hearing had their hands on the volume control and made it so loud that the speakers scratched. The boss needs to think about it and make sure his employees don't spoil the place, it used to be much better there.

Yummy. I don't eat all the breaded stuff, but the charcoal grilled chicken is great. Unfortunately the price is very high, 2 half chickens and 1 small/large coleslaw each for over 18 euros to take away are really steep for a snack. Although the shop seems to be a family restaurant for the Palestinian community, unfortunately there are often annoying guests: mostly aggressive young men of the talahon type who appear argumentative and demanding. Pushing forward, can't go fast enough for them and constantly complain when they think there isn't enough olive oil on the hummus etc.

Unfortunately, the new Risa Chicken Sonnenallee, which still grills with the old charcoal, does not meet expectations. The management also seems overwhelmed - especially when there are a lot of guests there are too few chickens on the grill, and when there are no guests there are too many. There are not enough professional staff who can grill like before. You would have to use statistics to determine how many guests are to be expected. You can tell that the processes are not well organized. There is simply a lack of experience and sensitivity here that the team of previous charcoal grill masters had when the grill was still the same. I've been coming here for 15 years and have been disappointed at least five times in the new branch - that's why I won't be going there again.
