Rigg's Burger in Ravensburg

I was at lunch with you today on January 30, 2025. First the good: nice atmosphere and top staff. Unfortunately the burger was the worst I've eaten in years. It tasted like old fat. My companion had another burger that had exactly the same problem. The fries were also worse than any big burger joint.

Drank delicious elderberry lemonade.

Unfortunately we cannot recommend Rigg’s Burger Restaurant Ravensburg. The service was extremely disorganized - we had to wait forever for anyone to even take our order. When our starter finally came, it wasn't what we ordered. After a complaint, the starter was taken back, but then we received the main course straight away - and it was a disaster. The meat had a rotten taste, the cheese was old and hard. It was simply inedible. To our surprise, after the main course, we only received the starter we had originally ordered - but it also had a strange, unpleasant taste. The worst came afterwards: none of us felt well after eating, and one person in our group even vomited. We have never had an experience like this in a restaurant. We strongly advise against eating here.

Nice atmosphere, but unfortunately that's it. Went there at the end of lunchtime and had the New York Style Burger and the Loaded Garlic Fries. In terms of taste and consistency, the patty was industrial frozen food and not exactly the highest quality. Also, when I got the burger, the lower part of the bun was already so soggy that I could no longer grip the burger and had to resort to a knife and fork. Unfortunately, the fries were also poorly fried and soggy. You didn't really notice any of the garlic in the garlic sauce. Even though the ambience is good and the service was friendly, for me it was a very disappointing visit with very poor value for money.

Was there for the first time and was so impressed with the food. Large portion too. Because it was so tasty I ordered something to take away. The ambience was also nice and inviting. I'd love to come back when I'm in the area.

32 euros for two burgers without fries? That was the last time. If I had known that they were just burgers I wouldn't have given a tip. It's a shame that there isn't a star. Underground. Thank you never again.

Pure disappointment! Six of us went to the Riggs burger shop in Ravensburg today. We were only able to order drinks after 30 minutes when asked (btw that was the only thing that worked that evening). The service employee was totally overwhelmed. When another half hour passed, two people at our table received food from the next table. When we asked where our side dish was, the service employee noticed that he was serving us the food from the next table. He then took the plate from our table and gave it DIRECTLY to the other table, an absolute no go!!!! When we asked again where the side dishes were, he brought a plate, took down the fries and then served them to us and the burger to the neighboring table. When the rest of us were served their food after another half hour, the side dishes and dips were also swapped or not available. When I asked the service employee, they said: “I don’t know how we do it now.” Quality of the food: - Visually, every McDonald's burger looks more appetizing - Some burgers were served lukewarm - Fries were unsalted and cold - Bread was soggy - Burger patty tasted like old and rancid fat All in all, an evening we could have done without. Really very disappointing for the price. We'll definitely only go to Qmuh!!!

Good burger restaurant. Service friendly and quick. In the afternoon when there wasn't much crowd, the food was there pretty quickly. Athena and New York style burgers were delicious. One star deducted because one bun lid was already burned. It was just edible, if you were more sensitive you probably would have returned it. It wasn't too warm there. If there is probably more going on, it should be fine. Would love to come back.

Nice facility, really good food.

I can't rate the food, service etc. That won't change after today. I was driving my car on a priority road in town and the driver of Riggs Burger almost took the right of way from me. If I hadn't slammed on the brakes, he would have crashed right into my side. Then I have to let him honk at me and he drives so close to me that if I had to brake, he was hanging in my trunk. Then I drove to the store with him behind me and complained. According to him, I was driving at least 70 in town and he wouldn't have followed me that closely. He would then have braked to give me the right of way and would have only honked because I was going so fast. In the middle of town on a sharp curve... The colleague at reception was super nice and understanding, unfortunately the driver showed no insight at all and continued to blame me. I don't want to support a store like that if I have to worry that the driver will kill someone while delivering my food.

If you like burgers, this is the place for you

The salad bowls are a dream. Unfortunately, the fries were a bit bland, the burgers were good. Service friendly, could be a little quicker.

Food tasty, ambience, very nice, not too loud even despite the full house. The only weak point… The waiting time for the food! We sat for a solid hour! When we asked, we were told the food would be coming soon and another 15 minutes passed. Something like that really shouldn't be allowed to happen. Guests who arrived after us received their food faster. After a complaint, drinks were on the house. Once and never again.

It was much better here. Restaurant could use an upgrade.

It takes a while until someone comes to serve you. Food is good, there is still room for improvement.

It's not what it used to be. The grilled vegetables didn't taste good and they weren't fresh either. I strongly suspect that the grill pettis are frozen goods, the taste, well for me a burger restaurant has to make fresh burgers.

The RIGG'S Burger Restaurant is a nice little restaurant in Ravensburg. It is somewhat remote in an industrial area. Food and service is ok, nothing more but nothing less either.

Unfortunately, as has often been written, the food is not particularly good. The burgers and meat should definitely be adjusted. Meat tastes more like chewing gum and not like minced meat. It's better to avoid the gummy bear at the end and place more value on the products. Conditions were very friendly

Ordered food to be delivered. My veggie burger was worth half if anything, the side salad was tasteless except for the dressing and partly dried out. Unfortunately, the corn on the cob was also warmed up as before. It's always been great so far, but unfortunately the quality has declined. The delivery staff is always very friendly!!

I am very excited. Unfortunately it took over 1 hour. But as an apology there was 1 coke and 1 donut. I will order again. Great food and great service. Thanks so much

Very friendly, burgers and fries were very tasty. Large selection! It's a snack, but you can still sit comfortably while you eat! Nicely decorated! Absolutely recommended! Happy to come back!

We used to go to Riggs often and it was always delicious. Unfortunately the quality has deteriorated significantly. Instead of breaded chicken, they now have the wholesale crispy chicken patty, and the beef patties are smaller and drier than before. The buns also no longer have grains but are “empty” at the top. But the best was brought out of the given ingredients. Iced tea is very sweet but nicely decorated. For the price I was hoping for a little more. Positive: Friendly staff & food is delivered quickly.

Very disappointing food I didn't expect a similar dish at all the place is very nice but the food doesn't match the place it is... my dish was completely flavored with grill and only tasted like burnt grill, please take more care of the kitchen because since it is a meat-only restaurant the meat must be taken care of and cooked on a clean basis so as not to give off a smell or bad taste to the meat or dish.

Fries were lame and the burger wasn't worth the money. Had the Italia. Sat at the table for 15 minutes before I was even served. (3 tables were occupied) so the shop was almost empty.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is great, you almost feel like you are in America, delicious food, super friendly staff!

The ambience is really well done. There's really nothing you can say against that, but it was way too hot in the restaurant. The employees were nice. The food was nothing special. I've eaten better things. The portions are quite large. Overall it was ok.

The burgers were nothing special. Found it for almost €50 with a side dish, it tasted like something from the metro that had just been warmed up quickly. My lettuce on the burger came out a lot and was quite brown. The cheese didn't even run a bit because the rösti was quite cool. The sauce was a blob in the middle. We used to go there often, but after the last visit that was it.

It used to be better. The quality of the meat has noticeably declined. On the last visit the burger was served in the "Bäckerwecken" (but of course everything was fancy regional). When you eat in an American restaurant, I also want a real bun and not a wake-up call from the bakery around the corner. The service was friendly. The great ambience has remained, but unfortunately the quality of the food has not.

It used to be a pleasure, but today it's bad. Recently ordered and I can't say what happened to Riggs. Used to be the best burger place around. Today only cheap meat with bits of cartilage/bone in it that I almost broke a piece of my tooth. Taken out 7 pieces in a burger. In addition, the burger is so full of glutamate/flavor enhancers that the burger simply tasted over-seasoned. Stop this damn profit maximization and stick with what it used to be and maintain the quality. That's why I was a customer. Now you 5 have already lost. There is absolutely no point in trying to maximize profits all the time. And employees, customers and quality fall by the wayside. We don't eat here anymore (no more orders either)

The last time I ordered here... I ordered a vegan burger with gluten-free buns. For a price of 13.40 euros I received a carelessly warmed piece of tofu and grilled vegetables (90% zucchini). Feels like: It's vegan, that's enough. Very unfortunate

Stopover in Ravensburg, stopped here for lunch and I have to say we were really impressed with the service and food. Keep it up!!!!

In recent years I have often been a guest at Riggs in Ravensburg and in Friedrichshafen. So far I've actually always been satisfied, but in the last 1 to 2 months in Ravensburg I noticed that the quality of the meat in particular has deteriorated drastically. Unfortunately, my recent visit to Friedrichshafen confirmed our experience once again. In addition to the patties, which ruined the taste of the entire burger, the fries were also undercooked and poorly seasoned. I'll probably have to look for another burger restaurant in the future.

Ich war die letzten Jahre öfter Gast bei Riggs in Ravensburg als auch in Friedrichshafen. Bisher war ich eigentlich immer zufrieden, allerdings ist mir die letzten 1 bis 2 Monate in Ravensburg sehr negativ aufgefallen, dass insbesondere die Fleischqualität sich drastisch verschlechtert hat. Mein Besuch letztens in Friedrichshafen hat uns in der Erfahrung leider nochmals bestätigt. Neben den Pattys, die den ganzen Burger geschmacklich versauen, waren auch die Pommes nicht durch und schlecht gewürzt. Für die Zukunft werde ich mir nun wohl ein anderes Burgerrestaurant suchen müssen.

Horrible staff! Wait forever until the drinking started, and even more so until the drinking came! The restaurant was almost empty! Mozzarella sticks that I ordered didn't arrive! Unfriendly and irresponsible staff, especially the service staff, they are terrible! Empty plates were not cleared away and no questions were asked about what the food was like. There's McDonald's, more child-friendly and the food tastes better and is significantly cheaper! I definitely won't come here to eat as a guest again!!

We wanted to order something home and were told on the phone after we ordered that there was a minimum order value for delivery. The minimum order value was 50 euros. OK, then we ordered 2 drinks and corn on the cob. However, no one told us that there was an additional song fee of 3.50 euros. Unfortunately 1 star for poor service. The food had arrived, unfortunately not tasty either. The meat in the burgers was frozen and not homemade. There was also coleslaw salad, which was store-bought and not good either. The corn on the cob was a hefty price and was the only thing we finished eating. It's a real shame, never again in that case.

Riggs used to be really good. Now he has slacked off so much. After yesterday's meal, I won't be entering this store again. My fries with the chili cheese sauce were absolutely amazing….not. After trying a few, I realized something wasn't right. Somehow some of it is cold, some of it is good and some of it is not done. I had my husband try it and he confirmed that some of it wasn't done. Of course I told the waiter this when she got the plates back. She apologized for it and that was it. When I got home, I noticed that my stomach wasn't feeling well. I got chills, felt nauseous and just felt really, really bad. Until I threw up and the fries I had eaten all came out nicely. Afterwards I immediately felt better again. Dear Riggs team, I'm sorry, but that's not possible. You have lost me as a customer.

This burger restaurant is just excellent. From the staff to the food... It's always a very pleasant experience to go there. I recommend the chicken wings with the hot sauce!

Top. If the prices weren't raised like everywhere else or if you got less, this restaurant would be my first choice. But that is probably the sign of the times. I just hope that the guests don't stay away and this very good restaurant has to be closed.

Great food, good service and a suitable ambience

The burgers used to be pretty good, but they've gotten really bad now. The sauce doesn't taste as good anymore. I don't understand why people make new sauces even though the old ones worked very, very well. Fries were very bad.

Nice ambience. A lot of effort was put into the decoration. The service was also very friendly. There are also gluten-free buns, which I find very positive. However, I didn't find the burger very special. The ingredients were all good except for the bullet. It tasted like it had been frozen and not fresh.

Today I visited Riggs for the first time. I was skeptical when I ordered because I wasn't sure if I was in a burger restaurant. I couldn't decide on a burger and asked the waitress about the weight of the patty. Unfortunately, the waitress couldn't give me a clear answer, and I couldn't find any information on the menu either. So I opted for a double cheeseburger with a small side salad and fries. The cheeseburger was served quite quickly, but the disappointment was great. The cheeseburger was small and consisted of frozen meat, disappointing in taste. It's a shame that in a grill and burger restaurant the patties aren't homemade. Luckily I had also ordered the salad. Overall I was very disappointed. The price was okay and the staff was friendly but not particularly outstanding. Personally I wouldn't come here again.

The burger was super tasty, the service was very friendly and we didn't have to wait long for the food. We were there with five people. Everything perfect and gladly again!

Location was very nice and the service staff tried hard. Unfortunately the food was below average. Starting with an incorrectly recorded order. Instead of the cole slaw there was cheese fries, the coleslaw was then reordered and it came quickly. But this was inedible and, like the fries dripping with cheese sauce, was left standing. Unfortunately, the main courses couldn't compensate for the sides either, as they were carelessly prepared and didn't impress in terms of taste.

We used to go to Riggs a lot and order regularly. Over time you could actually taste how things were getting worse and worse. The meat is bland and dry. The frozen burger patties are gray and solid. Buns are mushy and limp. 2* because the frozen onion rings are OK. Edit: Given another chance, but big failure... Everything TK, advertise with handmade… would you like to clarify what is supposed to be handmade? Tastes worse than McDonalds :) It's a shame that stores like this rely on the USA flair

Appetizers were great, but half of the order was taken incorrectly, some of the patties were cold, cheese wasn't melted but just slapped on cold, meat had a strange taste, salad was much too voluminous and was very disruptive to the meal. You get the impression that the burger is not prepared in the kitchen, but that everything is prepared and, like at McDonald's, component by component is assembled industrially. I had actually planned to give the store another chance after a long time, but I've been disappointed time after time, like this time again. No recommendation!!

Das Restaurant ist auf jedenfall schön in im Amerikanischen Stil eingerichtet. Ich habe einen Burger mit Pommes gegessen was geschmacklich Oke war aber wie ich finde für den Preis nicht gut genug. Zudem müssten wir fast eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten und mein bestelltes Wasser machte eher den Anschein eines Leitungswassers weil es nicht richtig gekühlt war. Ich war schon ein paar Mal bei euch essen mal ist der Burger besser oder weniger gut was schade ist.

Sehr viele Plätze. Auch guter Lieferservice. Burger sehr lecker und Preis-Leistung passt sehr gut. Auch Beilagen und Dips sehr gut. 9/10 Murica

Riggs ist ein gutes Restaurant. Die Beilagen, sowie die Vielfalt an Burgervariation sind sehr gut. Die Burger sind dank ihrer Vielfalt gut, nur leider ist das Burgerfleisch im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz nicht so gut. Es wirkt gefroren und das schmeckt man auch. Es ist ein grauer Fleischkreis. Mit gutem frischen Burgerfleisch wären die Burger die Perfektion.

Sehr enttäuschend. Bis dato zumindest immer solide gewesen . Schnitzel mit Salat für gut 14 Euro. Ein kleines Schnitzel (sonst waren es immerhin zwei) ... Kriegt man in jedem Restaurant für diesen Preis wesentlich mehr. Salat okay. Pommes dazubestellt. Menge okay, jedoch absolut laetschig. Schade ...

Super leckere Burger, super nettes Personal, sauber und schönes Lokal mit angenehmen Ambiente! Und es läuft immer die passende Musik! Kommen immer wieder gern!

Sehr gemütlicher Laden, netter Service, sehr leckeres Essen und Getränke, es gibt auch einen Lieferservice. Preis-Leistung passt, Essen ist jeden Cent Wert, sehr empfehlenswert

Das kleine Restaurant ist nett eingerichtet, lädt allerdings nicht zum langen verweilen ein und hat nur ein Paar Plätze. Wenn viel Online bestellt wurde, muss man lange auf sein Essen warten. Frisch zubereitet schmeckt es gut, allerdings bei Bestellung kommen die Speißen oft lauwarm an. Chicken Wings sind nicht mehr knusprig sondern aufgeweicht und das Burgerbrötchen ist ebenso aufgeweicht und weit von knusprig entfernt. Was mich am meisten ärgert, dass bei Bestellung Zeiten angegeben werden, die immer deutlich überschritten werden. Wir haben nun oft die Chance gegeben eine gute Leistung zu empfangen, die Preis sind nun auch nicht gerade ein Schnäppchen, leider wurden wir immer enttäuscht. Damit hat Rigg´s Burger einen gut zahlenden Kunden verloren.

Nach paar Jahren war ich wieder da Soweit war alles gut ,bis auf Service Da war ich leider sehr enttäuscht und am Ende ziemlich sauer Da ich selber aus Gastro komme Habe ich null Verständnis wenn man am Tisch mit leeren Gläsern und Tellern hockt und niemand kommt Weil beide Bedienungen sich einfach unterhalten statt um Kundschaft zu kümmern Einfach Respektlos und unerfahren Nie wieder .

Sehr begeistert. Eine schönes Lokal. Nette Bedienungen. Schnelle das Essen bekommen. Saubere Toiletten. Rundum zufrieden.
