A truly excellent location! Great menu, the AOP with octopus was superb!!

The food was great, the restaurant was busy that evening and a bit chaotic... But overall, it was very good....

We were here once last winter (with our dog!!) and really enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and service. When we recently tried to return after an event at the Böhler grounds, we unfortunately had a disappointing experience in a completely empty restaurant (it was already quite late). My husband arrived first and asked for a table. I followed a few minutes later with our very small dog. The very friendly server explained that they no longer allowed dogs because too many were unruly and they had "already been threatened with legal action"... Aside from the fact that a general ban is about as likely as one rowdy customer leading to a restaurant refusing entry, I consider the threat of legal action to be fictional – there is no regulation prohibiting dogs in restaurants. The decision rests solely with the owner. Being told to put our exceptionally well-behaved and extremely quiet dog in the car made it easy for us to choose somewhere else. Remember: the bad behavior of a few people should not result in the punishment of the many who behave considerately and politely.

We went outside of trade fair season. We were extremely satisfied with the service and the food! Much better than expected. I think the criticisms in the other reviews only arise when the restaurant is overcrowded during trade fair season. Definitely go!

The restaurant isn't significantly different from many others. We had a good seat and the food was okay, but not a highlight. The price/performance ratio is a bit disproportionate in my opinion, but the service was very friendly.

A birthday group of well over 10 people came out to dinner at the end of April on a weekend. Our tiny, restaurant-savvy dog ​​wasn't allowed in, even in a bag. The reasons given, including in the reviews, are sad. Others manage it, too. The food: okay to good, but not something I'd remember. But what definitely stuck in my mind was the grumpy, sarcastic service from the female server that evening. Inflexible, cheeky, every course seemed too tiring for the opportunity to earn big credits and tips. I've rarely experienced such a bored, "I don't need it" attitude. But looking around here, it seems to be a common problem, which is a shame given the location. And the other regular colleague (lots of tattoos, very nice, different day) shows that things can be done differently!

A super nice ambiance, very friendly service, and excellent food, although we waited an incredibly long time for our food. Almost 60 minutes for the starter (which was just a salad) and then another 45 minutes for the main course. As good as the food was, the wait was unbearable.

You don't need much to prepare a decent pasta dish. The orecchiette with salmon and Romanesco wasn't orecchiette in the first place, but rather shell-shaped pasta. The sauce? was grilled salmon and pieces of precooked grilled Romanesco. No butter, oil, herbs, or other vegetables. It lacked salt, pepper, garlic—everything! It was like eating a piece of wafer. The salads were also a disappointment, and the dessert, chocolate mousse with raspberry sauce, was a kind of must with a kind of jam, quite solid, no sauce. It's always the same with the so-called Italian cuisine in Germany: a tragedy!

Last night left me speechless. Service that had nothing to do with serving. Unenthusiastic staff, dressed in completely shabby clothes, showed no flexibility in allocating seating. Let alone creating a hospitable atmosphere. The two of us arrived early without a reservation, and the restaurant was almost empty. Since it was too windy outside on the terrace, we wanted a table inside. However, there was only one "cat spot" by the window on those horrible industrial stools, because apparently all the seats were reserved. The pasta dishes were very good—but that's the only positive point. When we finished our meal (about 1.5 hours later), about a third of the regular tables were still free. When we asked if we could have coffee outside, we were told no, as all the seats were taken, even though half of the terrace was free. They told us with a sour smile and in an arrogant tone that they couldn't handle it. Well, not then. Paid and out! A hefty price: pasta with prawns and a glass of wine spritzer for €31. Be that as it may: this place is definitely not recommended, given the abysmal service.

We visited this restaurant for the first time thanks to a friend's recommendation. Thank you so much for everything. We'll definitely be back soon.

⭐☆☆☆☆ A disappointing human treatment – and an experience that leaves you speechless. My parents – both in their late 70s – were at Rigatoni & Riesling today, full of anticipation for a shared lunch. At that age, such outings are rare highlights of everyday life. It's not primarily about food, but about company, participation, and a bit of normalcy. But that's exactly what they were denied. Because they had their small dog with them, they weren't even given the opportunity to eat inside. No questions asked, no conversation, no flexibility – they were categorically relegated to the terrace, as if there were no alternative. My father's health is already visibly affected – that didn't matter either. And when it started to rain, they sat outside – alone, while everything inside was packed. No staff came, no questions asked, no attempt to accommodate them in any way. A scene that was difficult for me, as a son, to bear. The fact that my mother described the food as "very good" is unfortunately irrelevant in this context. Because it's not just about good food. It's about hospitality. And that's not reflected on the plate, but in the way we interact with people – especially when circumstances require a certain degree of tact. What happened here was not only inflexible, but in my view, humanly unacceptable. An experience that leaves us with a very bitter aftertaste.

Starter / bread salad & wild herb salad - was excellent Main course / truffle pasta - unfortunately, there was far too little truffle flavor and too little sauce for the amount of pasta. The wine was recommended to us - three times the retail price was a bit pricey, but we should have asked for the price ourselves (we learned from that), but the taste was okay. Service was excellent at the beginning - later, we were given something to drink upon request, and we also paid on request - they could have made more money with better service. Overall - the starter was great, the ambiance was great, but we weren't impressed with the value for money at €175 for three people.

Not suitable for allergy sufferers - inflexible and very arrogant - dogs are not allowed - I can get the same food at home - a shame, the location is very nice

Ordered three pasta dishes, including the Rigatoni Verdi. All three dishes lacked a distinctive flavor. The sauce was completely watery, and the taste was utterly lacking. High expectations without justification. A shame. Not recommended.

Full five, rightly truffles and pasta were wonderfully integrated in a light sauce. Very good wine selection + fruit brandies from Ziegler.

I don't normally write reviews - especially negative ones. But today's experience keeps me going, which is why I would like to share it: My girlfriend and I spontaneously wanted to go out for something to eat around 7:30 p.m. today. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. There were several free tables outside, only one of which had a reserved sign. When we asked where we could sit, a young waitress explained to us that unfortunately this was not possible because the meal would take too long. We emphasized that we had time and that it wasn't a problem - but we weren't allowed to stay. We moved on somewhat irritated, but after a short while we decided to try it again and eat there in peace. On the second attempt we were intercepted at the entrance by a young waiter who told us again that we couldn't stay. We also told him that we were happy to wait and were under no time pressure - but that didn't matter either. Despite there being 4-6 free tables, we were not allowed to sit down. When we asked why, there was no comprehensible explanation. Empty tables but guests are being sent away? That really disappointed us. In our opinion, something like this has nothing to do with professionalism. We felt very stupid, two women who just wanted to eat something after work but were simply not allowed in for no reason. Sad.

As always outstanding: delicious food, wonderful wines, perfect service, very attentive and warm crew, deeply relaxed atmosphere, beautiful location. It couldn't be better. Cheers, dear Michael! We were there spontaneously, there were a few people sitting outside and drinking wine. The tables inside were reserved, but no one wanted to serve food outside. The reason: "it's too cold for the warm plates" (March 16 degrees). We are happy for everyone who can afford to go without young people, but I would have been happy if I had read this beforehand, then I would have saved myself the trip, so I am now informing you about the experience. Very nice service, food good, all in all good but very quick process. After an hour we were out. The aperitif was still on the table when the main course arrived. There's a bit of a feel-good atmosphere missing.

Unfortunately, dogs are not welcome at Rigatoni & Riesling and are not allowed into the restaurant. A note on the website or in social media would be helpful, then you can save yourself the journey there.

We were there with a larger group from work. The food tasted really good, but the timing wasn't particularly good. There were also some communication difficulties. Therefore a star deduction.

We went there for dinner with 4 work colleagues in the evening, just great! First of all, the location on the old Böhler site, I love this industrial romance. The decor is rustic but hip, with a vintage feel. The menu is short and sweet, we had the handmade pasta with beef fillet or prawns. It was super delicious!😋 Wine lovers will absolutely get their money's worth, the wine list is so extensive that everyone will find what they are looking for. I immediately found my favorite holiday wine from South Tyrol. The service is super nice, always attentive and you feel very comfortable as a guest. Absolute recommendation! My tip: be sure to reserve a table in advance, the shop is always very busy 😁👍

Rigatoni & Riesling is a real hit for pasta lovers! The homemade pasta is an absolute delight - fresh, tasteful and prepared with a lot of love. There is a large selection of good wines and the atmosphere is super "hygge". The service is attentive and friendly. A place we will definitely visit again and again! Highly recommended!

I thought for a long time whether I should comment on this and have now decided to do so. We had a dinner date at the weekend and both the food and wine were good. What caused irritation at the end was the bill with an ominous amount of €30. When we asked what this unmarked item on the bill was supposed to be, we were told that this was the corkage fee... you take this because you are a wine bar... We didn't notice this on the map (it might be written somewhere) nor was it said so (I would have wished)! So a bottle of wine costs €49 instead of €34…. I know corkage differently, so it irritated me a lot and unfortunately left a bad aftertaste on the evening...

We had to wait two hours for our food and when we asked about it, we were answered very harshly that it was being prepared. The service was really incredibly bad and unfriendly. Not recommendable.

The atmosphere was ok, the service was great, the prices were rather expensive. Cappuccino 4.20, double Espresso machiatto 5.20. I think that the next time I come, I will take a look at the price list.

A restaurant with a nice atmosphere, but very inflexible.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere is cosy, romantic, intimate and classy. The food is extremely high quality and absolutely delicious. Me and my partner have been twice in the last few months and absolutely loved it. The first time I had the ox belly risotto and he had the squid ink tagliatelle. Most recently I had the truffle tagliatelle which one of the best pastas I have ever eaten, so rich and creamy. They also have a huge selection of gorgeous wines which, suitable for any budget. Absolutely worth a try if you’re in the Meerbusch area.

The food was tasty but it could have been presented a little nicer (Caesar salad was just a heap of lettuce and then there was far too little sauce spread around the mountain). The service was fine and nice. Overall too expensive for what you get. Note on the answer from the restaurant: A bit passive aggressive, right? The food just lacked passion. It's not about where the ingredients come from or how expensive they are. I think it's a shame when criticism is responded to like this. Everything has its price and here it was too high for me compared to the performance. And if you are given simple baked baguettes in advance then that is simply not justified.

I had the great pleasure of visiting this restaurant and I must say the service was simply outstanding. As soon as we entered we felt like long-time friends of the owner. The personal and courteous manner in which we were welcomed and served is rare to find these days. The food was of the highest quality and incredibly delicious. Each dish was carefully prepared and made from fresh, high quality ingredients. You can immediately tell that great emphasis is placed on details and taste. Overall, an experience that I can recommend to everyone. Hospitality is still very important here and you leave the restaurant not only full, but also with a smile on your face. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Today the event is “Art ex works” with a relatively large number of people. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food because we didn't even get a seat even though there were free tables. We were told "they couldn't accept us, they would immediately expect a group of 20 people." It's a shame, then my money goes to the nice and fast pizzeria "La Strada", which is only a few meters away.

Arrogance or incompetence? Wanted to eat something in this restaurant at the weekend during ART. The lady on site explained to us that the restaurant wouldn't open for another 45 minutes. When we returned about 40 minutes later, some tables were already occupied but many were still free. This time there was a gentleman on site who explained to us that of course we couldn't take a seat somewhere because everything was occupied. We should come back in 45 minutes and maybe something would be free for us then. When I asked if I could reserve a table for this time, the answer was of course not that you couldn't make a reservation at the restaurant. Aha.

After we got a place outside, I wanted to go to the toilet when Mr. Kuchenbecker stood in my way in all his glory and asked where? I answered: To the toilet. Mr. Kuchenbecker then moved aside and I was allowed through. That seemed strange to me. But maybe. he thought that I just wanted to go to the toilet and he didn't like these people who just wanted to go to the toilet (although that wouldn't be a good way to do it). When I was going to the toilet, someone suddenly screamed so loudly and hit the door with full force. I couldn't place it at all. I opened the direct toilet door and then the door from the anteroom (I accidentally closed it intuitively because the key was in it). When I opened this door, Mr. Kuchenbecker stood in front of me again in all his glory and shouted at me why I had opened this door would have closed. I was so shocked. I immediately apologized but he continued to yell. The lady behind him was also completely shocked. I apologized again. However, Mr. Kuchenbecker couldn't calm down at all. I have never experienced such antisocial and uncontrolled behavior. This helpless attempt at explanation when I returned to my partner was based on him telling me not to speak. Multiple. But there was no reason to freak out like that. I feel sorry for the owner Mr. Piepenbrink. Because he and his pasta are well known and appreciated in Düsseldorf. But his employee's behavior is damaging to business. The shouting and banging on the door could be heard all the way to the terrace. Some guests asked us about it afterwards. By the way, I'm just 1.60 m, weigh 57 kg and am 53 years old. And Mr. Kuchenbecker puffs himself up so much with a woman like that. Incredible. I never want to meet this person again. Because Mr. Kuchenbecker scared me very much. Therefore I cannot recommend the restaurant. Update: No. I am not Markus but the woman that Mr. Kuchenbecker approached. It is not an insult but an assessment of your behavior Mr. Kuchenbecker. “It went stupid” is unfortunately a silly and inappropriate expression. But of course this kind of apology completes the impression of you as a person.

I really need to get something off my chest here. We are still shocked and stunned. We actually wanted to eat and drink something in a relaxed atmosphere on the restaurant's terrace. When my partner went to the toilet before ordering, she came back to our seat completely shocked. The owner took such a massive approach to it. When my partner accidentally locked the access toilet door instead of just her toilet door and the owner noticed this, he banged on the toilet door so hard with his full aggressiveness that my partner was completely shocked at first. When he then stood in front of her with his physical mass and attacked her in such an extreme way, she was totally shocked. She apologized several times, but he still remained firm in his statements. When he realized that she was a guest and was sitting next to me, he came up to her again and wanted to explain himself. My partner didn't want to allow any more explanations. Everything was said on his part and he behaved completely anti-socially. We then got up straight away and left. Nobody has to go through that. This owner has shown his true, anti-social and completely out of the question face. And that too in front of his other guests. Absolutely NO GO.

I had lunch in this pearl of Lörick/Heerdter gastronomy twice within a short period of time and I was thrilled every time. Exceptional pasta creations in a charming environment with fast, dedicated service - what more could you want. And the fact that the pasta on the daily menu was available for EUR 9.50 - a blast. We'll see each other more often from now on!

Horror food. Stingy portions. They give you bread with a salty butter cream as an appetizer, and the bread breaks your teeth and the insides of your mouth. I ordered pasta with truffle, and I got four leaves of truffle and noodles with milk cream. 25 euros. For what? It's not about the money, it's about having the decency to serve this food at all for the price. And we are talking about a place that is not city central, it's on the edge of the Düsseldorf world. I am disappointed that you sell this as "Italian food". Maybe you can sell it to Germans, but no one else. The waiters were polite and kind. The ambiance is nice when it is nice weather, but of course the chairs are hard and uncomfortable because God forbid they invest in pillows for chairs.

I can't rate the food, unfortunately it didn't get that far. I asked about the menu with our two children. The appearance of the service let us know that the family was not welcome. Personal impression of mine, sure. Free! In my opinion, you won't be happy with lively children here... And since the establishment has already spoken, here are a few words about the seeing: 3 guests, two more in the process of looking for a place. My two “rascals” didn’t dance their name or anything else, but were even relatively quiet. As I said: everything is a personal opinion! Again: If you come with children under 10, you can feel for yourself and then rate it here. I think families with children are simply not the target group here and that's okay. We are in Düsseldorf and in addition to the Hosen concerts there is also the Kö... and of course the Böhler area, which is more part of the Kö team... 😊

We were there by chance as we were visiting a trade fair that wasn't open yet. To pass the time, we had lunch there. The pasta was surprisingly good, really good. I haven't eaten much better in Italy. The service is attentive and friendly. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the sun outside. Absolute recommendation for anyone who likes Italian food.

We had dinner there with friends. The fish dish turned out to be no fish cubes of approx. 5x5 cm, plus a mountain of pasta and the spinach mentioned in the menu consisted of only 3 leaves. It took more than an hour to eat, and other guests also complained about this. The quality of the other food also left a lot to be desired - we definitely won't eat there again!

Simply an absolute top team in Rigatoni & Riesling!! We had dinner before our event - and it was simply incredibly tasty with very nice advice on the right wine to pair with the meal. The quality was definitely convincing. In addition, we were there again after the event to toast and were welcomed with such warmth that we will definitely stop by there whenever we are in the area!! The food, service and ambience were wonderful, which led me to reserve the room for a private birthday party. Unfortunately the reservation communication was disappointing. Despite a confirmed reservation, I received a rejection for an additional order with no explanation. I later learned that the boss has unpredictable veto rights over reservations. This almost caused a disaster for my birthday party. While the restaurant is generally recommended, the owner's social skills were disappointing.

Nice place. Area is kind of old industrial. Guests covering the hipster alternative audience but also business people show up. Wine was good. food was yummy. Riesling and Pasta. Cool kombo. Will definitely come back soon.

Quietly located restaurant in the entrance area of ​​the Böhler area with a very limited number of seats. The atmosphere is very cozy and romantic. The service is open and friendly and sometimes jokes. This relaxes the atmosphere even more and contributes to the coziness. The selection of wine is enormous. There is something to be had in every price range. The selection of dishes is much smaller, but sufficient. The fresh pasta here tastes sensational and is really recommended.

Super Ambiente und Hammer Service.

Besuch nach dem Weihnachtsmarkt nebenan Die warme Beleuchtung von innen zog us an. Tolles Ambiente Mischung aus Trattoria und Bistro passende Bestuhlung . Der Service war sehr freundlich mit gewissen Längen, obwohl das Lokal nicht voll war. Das Essen war lecker und reichlich, was für Oberkassel nicht üblich ist. Der Wein überzeugte weniger, Chardonnay und Grauburgunder waren kein ausgesprochener Mainstream. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant mit Charme.

Die Pasta schmecken sensationell gut, ebenso die Vorspeisen. Das Ambiente erwarte ich so im Areal Böhler und will es auch nicht anders haben (Industriecharme). Auch die Weine sind sehr gut und vor allem bezahlbar. Immer wieder gerne. Wir haben uns total wohl gefüllt und waren nachher "Pappensatt".

Nudeln waren top auf den Punkt gekocht, Salsiccia war leider völlig überwürzt und viel zu salzig. Kalbsbolo war leider auch nicht überragend aber ganz ok. Für den Preis hatten wir mehr erwartet, aber vielleicht hatte der Koch nur einen schlechten Tag.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe im Rahmen unserer standesamtlichen Hochzeit im Oktober da. Wir hatten ein tolles Mittagessen und einen wundervollen Service, der sich sehr toll um uns gekümmert hat. Das Essen war wie immer sehr, sehr lecker. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr toll ( wir waren im abgetrennten Raum nebenan). Lieben Dank an das gesamte Team Rigatoni &Riesling, unseren Tag so wunderschön gemacht zu haben! Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt bei euch!! 100% Empfehlung.

Gemütliches und schön gestaltetes Restaurant im Bistro-Stil innerhalb des Böhler-Areals. Neben einer überschaubaren Karte gibt es noch eine Karte mit weiteren saisonalen Gerichten. Die Auswahl an offenen Weinen ist nicht allzu groß, aber noch in Ordnung. Dagegen ist die Flaschenauswahl recht groß. Während die Paccheri mit Salsiccia und Pfifferlingen lecker waren, hätte die Portion Trüffelspaghetti auf Carpaccio für den Preis etwas größer sein dürfen. Weder auf der Karte, noch bei der Bestellung wurde erwähnt, dass die Kalbsbolognese mit einer weißen Soße serviert wird – das hätten wir uns noch gewünscht. Freundliche Bedienung und akzeptable Preise für die gebotene Qualität.

Ein großes Dankeschön an Guido und das gesamte Team. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Authentische Gastherzlichkeit und gelebte Leidenschaft für gutes Essen und tolle Weine machen das Rigatoni & Riesling zu einer klaren Empfehlung. So geht Gastronomie heute!

Schockverliebt! Endlich mal wieder ein Laden wo Nette Begrüssung und gutes Essen im Einklang stehen ! Muss man selber erleben, machen ist wollen, nur krasser 🙏danke

Kinder sind hier leider nicht willkommen, es sei denn, sie sagen nichts und machen keine Geräusche. Wir wurden schnell gebeten, dass die spielenden Kinder ruhig sind. Das Personal macht keinen freundlichen Eindruck. Alles in allem wirkt das Geschäft trotz schönem Ambiente unpersönlich. Das Essen für vier Personen war bei einer Person kalt, obwohl der Laden sehr klein und überschaubar ist. Das Essen ist lecker, an anderen Stellen in Oberkassel (und nicht in Heerdt) für gleiche Qualität aber signifikant günstiger. Da Kinder ganz zentral zur Gesellschaft gehören und die Zukunft, auch für dieses Restaurant, sind, kann ich bei so einem unfreundlichen Verhalten maximal 2 Sterne geben - schade.

Schöner Laden, gemütliches Ambiente. Essen fantastisch. Das beste Nudelgericht, das ich in Düsseldorf hatte.
