We are at the campsite behind the hotel and often eat cake there on Sundays. The cake is super tasty and a good portion. The staff is mostly young but very friendly and also tries hard when it's really busy at peak times! We have never waited longer than 15 minutes, even when it was busy.

We were here for breakfast on Sunday with a small group. The breakfast was great, coffee was on the tables. Unfortunately you had to order tea, cocoa etc. so it took a while. But the drinks were included in the price. Unfortunately, this was not communicated beforehand. Otherwise the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately it was really cold in the restaurant. This doesn't make it particularly comfortable.

Got brutal food poisoning with multiple hospital stays.

It was a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Heidegrund. The only unfortunate thing was that there weren't enough loungers in the sauna area and we had to wait 1.5 hours for dinner to eat a burger and a schnitzel. Of course, I understand that there might be a slightly longer wait when there are a lot of customers, but the tables around us got the same dishes after just 30 minutes and we didn't. I don't understand that and the excuse that there's a lot to do doesn't work when more than half of the tables are empty. All in all, we would like to visit the hotel again, but I'm not sure whether we would eat in the restaurant or eat out.
