Rice Tree in Leipzig

I eat at various Chinese restaurants in Leipzig two or three times a week. The quality is top-notch. By comparison, you normally pay between €7 and €15 for chicken fried rice. Here, it's €5.90 for a large portion.

Very good place for a quick bite on the way or a fast take away. The quality is not amazingly high but the prices are rather low for what you get. A small tip - to avoid communication problems just write down the number of the dish you want to have.

The prices here are very, very fair, and if you know what to expect, you also know what you're getting. The shop isn't particularly fancy, which may bother some, but not so much for others. Some people wrote that the owner is unfriendly; that's not true. He's friendly, he just doesn't speak German very well, which seems to be a misconception for some people. I'm always happy when I get my food here.

We ordered tom ka gai (No. 5) and they brought us a microscopic portion. It's not even a child's portion... we always order this soup in other Vietnamese cafes, there they always have twice as much for the same price. But the soup was delicious)

Food comes quickly, price is good, food is rather boring.

The food tasted very good, but I felt some of the dishes lacked vegetables. That was manageable.

A great little Asian takeaway spot offering delicious and budget-friendly meals. Their crispy duck fried rice is absolutely worth trying. Just be aware it's cash-only, so come prepared. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the lack of card payment option.

Delicious Pho, cheap, nice - for me one of the best shops in the area!

First impression unfortunately disappointing We spontaneously wanted to eat something in this restaurant, but were disappointed as soon as we entered. The unpleasant smell of old grease was immediately noticeable, which greatly spoiled the first impression. The interior of the restaurant also left a lot to be desired: The furniture was dusty and partly covered with a greasy film, which we have never experienced in a restaurant of this type. Overall, it seemed poorly maintained and not particularly inviting. When we asked whether card payment was possible, the staff responded with a clear shake of the head, which gave us the feeling that such requests were rather unwelcome here. This reaction gave us another reason why we decided to leave the restaurant and eat somewhere else. 🔍 Conclusion: Although we didn't try the food ourselves, the overall impression of the restaurant was unfortunately not convincing. The unpleasant atmosphere and the less than hospitable reception prevented us from visiting. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

Delicious food and great prices. Ambience a bit sparse, but half as wild. I can recommend. I absolutely cannot understand the other reviews on the subject of unfriendly bosses etc.

The food has always been quite good so far. There are better alternatives in Plagwitz, though. The service is really unfriendly. A few days ago, I wanted to order spring rolls, and after three back-and-forths because he didn't understand "spring rolls," I was told "no" and disappeared back in the back. That's unacceptable. No alternatives were offered, nor was I asked if I wanted anything else. And this isn't the first rude encounter in that place. It's a good thing there are plenty of other places. Unfortunately, I won't go there anymore.

Very good Asian snack. Mega tasty and at a low price.

The food is really delicious, I don't prefer to eat inside, I buy it more and eat it at home. The inside is not very large or beautiful. In terms of service, the gentleman used to be more sullen, but now he smiles more, which is positive. The prices are the most affordable I have ever eaten.

Simply authentic. We also ate the Pho in Vietnam, super delicious!

The food is really good, if you make absolute compromises in terms of ambience and seating, then it's completely fine for the money. The price-performance ratio is right! The service could be a bit friendlier, but the food tastes good!

More snack bar with seating, less restaurant. The quality of the dishes always fluctuates from very tasty to, well. Fried noodles were a bit mushy. I prefer rice here. Vegetables always a little small, cut large and drowned in soy. Price performance according to OK.

Good quality and everything freshly prepared. The guest room is simple and a bit small. Very crowded around lunchtime during the week. Also many self-collectors. The food is above average for a snack bar.👍

Ab und zu gibt es Verständigungsprobleme, aber das Essen ist immer top! Das Personal ist auch freundlich!

Personal ist nicht das freundlichste und es gibt schon die ein oder andere Sprachbariere. Da wird der Typ Wütend weil ER nicht versteht was ich sage (auf mich). Where is the logic? Das Essen ist aber ganz gut.👍

Ich bewerte hiermit Nr. 15 (Ente mit Nudeln, Ei und Gemüse) Es war alles so 9 von 10 durchgebraten. Ansonsten gab es etwas wenig Gemüse. Die Ente war angenehm zu kauen, das Ei wertete das ganze Gericht etwas auf. Preislich geht es voll klar.

Leckeres Essen, sympathische Bedienung, guter "Standard"-Asiate, bei dem ich mein Hühnchen in Erdnusssauce bekomme.

Ok der Besitzer ist ne Nummer für sich, (ich finde seine Unfreundlichkeit fast schon etwas ulkig) aber dafür ist das Essen und der Preis echt super ☺️👍🏼

Leckeres Essen, super günstig, gute Lage, schnelle Zubereitung. Auch vor Ort kann man problemlos essen, wenn es auch ziemlich klein ist. Das Personal ist leider nicht allzu freundlich und der Raum Recht kalt für den Verzehr vor Ort.

Feierlichster Laden und das mit Abstand beste Pho in Plagwitz. Auch die restlichen Spezialitäten sind klasse und preiswert; wären da nicht die deutschen mit ihrer unsäglich bornierten Vorliebe für "Chinanudeln mit Hähnchen" oder "Ente Kross" (Nr. 7-14). Herrlich wie hier alle auf das Personal haten; klar, ich wurde auch schon drei mal rausgeschmissen weil der Küchenchef meinte, um 19 Uhr Feierabend zu machen oder Gericht xy auf GAAAR keinen Fall mit Tofu statt Huhn zubereiten konnte. Gerade das macht es ja spannend und unabsehbar. Wer weniger Realness möchte, kann ja die Strassenseite wechseln, Auswahl gibt's genug in klein Chinatown ;)

Von mir leider nur 2 Sterne, das das personal einfach unmöglich ist. Ich kam rein, und musste mindestens 10min warten bis ich angesprochen wurde und das auch noch total unfreundlich. Sorry egal wie gut es schmeckt aber etwas Freundlichkeit muss sein.

Typisches Ostasiatisches Essen. Grösse der Portionen ist sehr ausreichend, Preis auch top. Bonus sind die vietnamesischen Spezialitäten!

Tastes ok but the shopkeeper was a little bit grumpy

Dieser laden ist sowas von Kontrovers. Das Essen ist geil, deswegen die zwei Sterne. Der typ ist aber so dermaßen unfreundlich, dafür das man in seinem Laden echt viel Kohle lässt. Die Preise wurden schon mehrmals angehoben, dafür nimmt der Service gleichzeitig ab. Tja würde gerne öfters hingehen aber es bleibt eher eine Seltenheit.

Er versteht zwar schlecht deutsch, aber irgendwie kann man sich dann doch verständigen. Aber das Essen ist total gut, immer(!), sehr authentisch in Richtung Thailänder und Vietnamesisch.

Essen schmeckt lecker, gehen hier sehr gern zum Mittag. Freundlich und fix!

Besser kann man seinen Besuch in Dresden nicht starten!

Essen ist ok, etwas fettig. Interieur ist sehr kühl.

Essen schmeckt, aber äußerst einsilbige und unfreundliche bis sogar abweisende Bedienung. Daher meide ich das Restaurant mittlerweile, obwohl mir meine Lieblingssuppe Pho Bo Thai echt fehlt...

Man bekommt sein gewünschtes Essen 🍴 und kann in ruhe essen 🍴. Die Straßenbahn 🚊 Haltestelle 🚉 ist gleich in der Nähe.

Tip top Essen....im asiatischen Chumumi-Restaurant ....knusprige Ente mit ganz toll schmeckender Mangosoße

Hat leider nachgelassen. War früher besser. Fleisch im Pho hatte die Konsistenz einer Schuhsohle.

Sehr gutes Essen für einen AsiaImbiss. Es gibt großartige Suppen und leckere (Frühlings)Rollen in Reispapier. I like !!!

Lecker Essen. Sehr reichlich und schnell zubereitet. Es ist ein Schnellimbiss. Manko sind lediglich die Gerüche, welche dich in der Kleidung festsetzen.
