There are few varieties of dishes, and the prices are more expensive than similar restaurants. There is not much seafood and it is not fresh. When we went to have dinner, many areas were not lit, making the room dim. I don't recommend it.

We were satisfied. There's everything your heart desires and more than enough of everything. It's always busy. Drinks are distributed in coolers. Water is available from a dispenser. Only the high price shocked us. But it's partly understandable when you see what some people send back to be lasered and then thrown away.

It was a lovely evening. Buffet food and non-alcoholic drinks included. What more could you want? They even prepared a barbecue based on our individual preferences. It was really good.

We went out to eat as a family. Two adults and two children, aged 10 and 9. Our table number was 96, by the play area/restrooms. We were the first guests that day and probably got the worst seat in the restaurant. We had to spend the whole evening watching a member of staff folding napkins in the dining room, throwing away all the other guests' leftovers, and we felt like we were in a canteen where people were constantly heading to the restrooms. I would have understood if it had been the only table left, but if you pay over €100 and are the first guest, I can't seat guests there, like in our case. There were plenty of tables free in other areas. The food was OK. But when I go to eat there, I also want to be able to enjoy the ambience. That wasn't the case at all. It was very disappointing this time.

The all-you-can-eat buffet...there was enough for a weekday restaurant visit, but it will certainly be more extensive at weekends, especially with meat and fresh vegetables that you can put together and prepared live. It was enough for me; I was satisfied, and the subtle music was just right.

From gourmet temple to mass-production... It's incredible how the Gourmet Palace has changed in just a few years! The quality of the food is nowhere near what it once was – quantity instead of quality. I used to be enthusiastic about sushi, selection, and the entire concept. Today at the lunch buffet: substandard, unloving sushi, no freshness or quality, hardly any vegetarian options, instead cheap fried Asian fast food. At least: The service staff clears up quickly and friendly – when they're not smoking outside at the entrance and on their phones. The stench in the women's restroom is unbearable. And the dessert? Sad and artificial in taste.

Of course, it depends on the day and time of year... you should check the prices beforehand. It's cheapest at lunchtime during the week. Huge selection, always fresh and always restocked. Very clean and delicious, and of course, coffee, juice, and soft drinks are included in the price.

Truly delicious – if it weren't for the sticky floor, the filthy toilets, and the generally run-down condition. Worst of all: completely filthy children's toys, torn pillows with stuffing oozing out – absolutely disgusting. The pungent toilet smell permeates the dining room. The washroom was right next to the toilet, clearly visible – I'd rather spare you that sight. The health department should really intervene immediately.

I went to an Asian buffet restaurant with friends a few days ago, and we really enjoyed it. Food: The buffet selection was huge – sushi, fried noodles, rice dishes, various meat and vegetable dishes, and a wide selection of sauces. Everything was fresh and regularly replenished. I particularly enjoyed the crispy chicken in sweet and sour sauce. The desserts, such as baked bananas and crème brulee, were also delicious. Service: The staff was friendly and quick. Empty plates were cleared away immediately. Despite the full restaurant, everything seemed well organized. Atmosphere: The restaurant had a modern interior, with pleasant lighting and a clean ambiance. It was a bit noisy, but that's normal for a busy buffet. Overall, a very pleasant lunch with delicious food at a fair price. I would gladly return.

We ate there with friends. The price is obviously crazy (36 euros), but there's a huge selection. Some of the food is already prepared, but you can also have it cooked or fried. There are six different sauces, lots of different meats (including zebra), several vegetables, sushi, seaweed salad, ice cream, a variety of desserts (including Creme Brulee), and lots of cold drinks (Bluna, Afri Cola). The tables are cleared really quickly, and the staff are very friendly. I just think the food doesn't change much, and I wouldn't go back soon enough. Once or twice a year, I'd be happy to.

Our experience at Gopalast was outstanding. From fish to fries to zebra meat, there was a huge selection to satisfy both small and very large appetites. The ambiance is first-class and beautifully decorated. The quality of the food was very good, but you shouldn't expect premium quality here, as the emphasis is more on quantity than quality. All in all, we were very satisfied and would definitely come back.

Preis ist hoch, für Bier und Diesel muss man jetzt 3,50 Euro bezahle und bekommt nur noch 0.3 Liter statt 0,5 Lieter. Es geht auch schneller als Früher, man wartet nicht mehr so lange, wenn etwas auf dem Mongolen-Grill zubereitet wird. Unsere Favorit bleibt das Glücksboot, wo wird 10 Mal mehr hin gehen. Als Großfamilie mit sehr vielen Personen sind wir da sehr gerne gesehen, wie bei unseren Griechen.

Well yea, lot of items were removed from the menu. Last time I visited was in 2023, it was awesome then. Now, mehh very limited options for the lunch buffet.

It's great for birthday parties and the like. It's easily accessible by public transport, and you can also charge your electric car at the public utility company, but be sure not to overstay your welcome, or it'll get expensive.

Complete disappointment – ​​never again! I've rarely had such a disastrous experience in a restaurant as I did here. The unpleasant, musty smell was noticeable as soon as I entered – and that was just the beginning. The entire dining room seemed unkempt and dirty, as if it hadn't been properly cleaned in weeks. The icing on the cake, however, was the condition of the restrooms: a nauseating stench, dirty floors, smeared mirrors – simply disgusting. The food? An absolute disaster. Everything arrived lukewarm to cold, dripping with fat, and tasted awful. The meat was tough, dry, and had a strange aftertaste – almost unbearable. There was no trace of freshness or quality. The hygienic conditions in the kitchen are also hard to imagine, judging by the dining room. The service was inattentive and seemingly completely overwhelmed. And all of this at completely exorbitant prices – an absolute disgrace for what's offered (or rather, expected) here. This restaurant is a disgrace on every level. I strongly advise against eating here. An evening filled with disgust, disappointment, and anger – definitely never again!

Okay, I was with my family today for a birthday. What I liked: great service. There is help and cleaning +- every 15 minutes. There are not many dishes, but I want to note that you should not eat sushi there, but everything else is quite tasty. Some people in the family simply had a bloated stomach (it was from 2-3 pieces of sushi). It's quite strange. Unfortunately, there are cracked plates and flies flying. Because the door to the street is open, they fly into the hall. Sit down to eat, etc. It's also very hot. I give 3 stars, purely because of the very nice staff.

We were there on a Saturday, when admission is €36. Admittedly, that sounds like a lot at first. But when you consider everything included in that price, it quickly becomes more reasonable. GoPalast also offers different prices depending on the time of day, day of the week, and the age of the children. This means you can dine there more affordably depending on the situation. We were there from 6 p.m. and had a generous time slot until 10:30 p.m. During this time, you can help yourself to as much as you like from the buffet. All non-alcoholic drinks are included in the price, including tea. And the best part: there are no cheap products, just a decent selection of brand-name drinks. There are hot dishes in all variations, from classic Asian dishes to salads and various desserts. There's even a chocolate fountain. If you like, you can also choose fresh, raw meat, hand it over to the kitchen, and then relax and sit down at your table. The food is served directly to you, a nice service, even if it didn't work quite smoothly that evening. The restaurant itself is very large and offers seating of varying sizes, from cozy tables for four to long tables for larger groups. The atmosphere is accordingly lively, but also loud. Especially during busy times, you should be aware that there will be a certain amount of background noise. There's a small play area with a ball pit for children, which is ideal for family visits. What struck me that evening: Some of the service staff seemed quite new and obviously hadn't quite gotten used to their new surroundings yet. Das Angebot hat leider nachgelassen. Ich erinnere mich noch gut an die Anfänge des Restaurants. Leider stimmen Preis/Leistung nicht mehr. Wir waren an einem Freitag Mittag da. Für 19,50 kann man sicher eine Menge essen, sofern man vor allem frittiertes und öliges Essen mag. Frisches sucht man hier, außer ein paar neutral schmeckenden Tomaten und Gurken, leider vergeblich. Das Sushi ist vor allem vegetarisch, ab und an verirrt sich ein Stück Lachs. Die Gefäße für die Sojasoße waren teilweise verschmutzt. Das Personal an den Tischen ist aber sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Once and never again!!! Deceived by the "good" reviews, we chose this restaurant. It was a complete disaster! It was dirty, with food scraps everywhere on the sides and on the serving carts. The food was cold and poorly presented. We generally felt unclean. The presentation and food containers were messy. The white chocolate fountain looked anything but white chocolate (gray/brown). It's not recommended for vegetarians at all. There's no vegetarian sushi, nor any vegetarian dishes (unless you're content with noodles and rice for €35). To top it all off, the vegetarian vegetables are grilled directly alongside the meat and fish in the same oil. This is also more than unsuitable for people with fish allergies. If we hadn't had to pay at the entrance, we would have turned around and left immediately. For that price, it's pure mass processing. Without love for food, but purely for the love of one's own (owner's) wallet!

The offer is varied, there is something for every taste. Many thanks to the staff, who, among other things, clears away the used dishes, provides the buffet and drinks, prepares the food at reception or works in all other areas. The only drawback is the cleanliness of the toilets, which have almost always been unclean. This should be improved.

Huge, loud, full of people. We came from further away hoping to experience something different. In the end, it's like almost all other Asian buffets. The only advantage are the non-stop drinks (included in the price). Unfortunately, the freshly prepared one was the bigger disappointment. It's clear to me that not everything goes well with so much mass, but it's basically just raw pieces of meat or fish/seafood fried, no spices. Some of the fish was even seared too much (just before black). Only the previously marinated skewers were really great. All in all, it's still quite appealing for people nearby. If you live further away, you can also go to the buffet around the corner, in my opinion. Overall we found it quite ok, but unfortunately nothing more.

Let's just say it had had quite an exciting life… Possibly in the trunk of an old, rusty van in the blazing sun. At least the vegetables were crunchy. But that was probably only because they were cut so thickly that they couldn't be fried. The selection was clear – and by "clear," I mean that even a sandwich offers more variety. The sauces were a gamble: one tasted like liquid boredom, the other like an accident in the cleaning supplies aisle...an exciting experience: everything from "Indefinable" to "Why does it burn without spice?" was there. If you want to treat your stomach to a tough boot camp, this is definitely the place... If you want to put your taste buds to the test and experience an exciting night on the toilet, you should definitely stop by. There are those restaurants where you walk out and think, "Wow, that was worth every cent!" – yes, and then there's this place. 34 euros per person for a buffet that sounds like someone at the supermarket just randomly threw things from the frozen food aisle into the pan. Our group arrived hungry and full of anticipation – and left with broken hearts and a deep hole in their wallets. You won't see us again.

The atmosphere was good, but unfortunately a bit loud. I was disappointed that all the meat dishes, including the pork, are cooked on the same grill. So, if you don't eat pork, you'd rather have your own meat grilled in a separate area! I found it particularly annoying that no cutlery was provided at the buffet, and we had to ask for it every time. That really could have been better organized. The restrooms weren't clean either. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. Never again!

At first glance the selection of drinks seems quite large, but upon closer inspection there are only 5 types and unfortunately most of the fridges were empty. Regarding the buffet: loveless mass production that doesn't exactly taste good. You can get the sushi at the discount store around the corner, the duck/chicken had the consistency of a shoe sole, but my absolute highlight was the sweet and sour sauce and the Peking soup. A “flavor explosion” of ketchup topped with vinegar and/or cucumber water (that’s how I tasted it). The soup was exactly the same, served with far too much salt. The whole fun cost us 36 euros per person. Congratulations!

The Go Palast in Leipzig is a solid mid-range all-you-can-eat restaurant. The selection is extensive, with Asian classics and Mongolian grill. The quality of the food is OK, but not outstanding. The ambience is typical of a buffet restaurant: large, a bit noisy, but clean. The price-performance ratio is reasonable for a quick, uncomplicated meal.

The treatment wasn't that okay and the prices are extremely expensive.

Extensive and great variety. The grill station could be better. Meat and fish are often fried to death. The ready meals at the buffet are quite tasty. Likewise the dessert department
