Well yea, lot of items were removed from the menu. Last time I visited was in 2023, it was awesome then. Now, mehh very limited options for the lunch buffet.

It's great for birthday parties and the like. It's easily accessible by public transport, and you can also charge your electric car at the public utility company, but be sure not to overstay your welcome, or it'll get expensive.

Restrooms were clean But the sinks in the women's restrooms were absolutely filthy

Complete disappointment – ​​never again! I've rarely had such a disastrous experience in a restaurant as I did here. The unpleasant, musty smell was noticeable as soon as I entered – and that was just the beginning. The entire dining room seemed unkempt and dirty, as if it hadn't been properly cleaned in weeks. The icing on the cake, however, was the condition of the restrooms: a nauseating stench, dirty floors, smeared mirrors – simply disgusting. The food? An absolute disaster. Everything arrived lukewarm to cold, dripping with fat, and tasted awful. The meat was tough, dry, and had a strange aftertaste – almost unbearable. There was no trace of freshness or quality. The hygienic conditions in the kitchen are also hard to imagine, judging by the dining room. The service was inattentive and seemingly completely overwhelmed. And all of this at completely exorbitant prices – an absolute disgrace for what's offered (or rather, expected) here. This restaurant is a disgrace on every level. I strongly advise against eating here. An evening filled with disgust, disappointment, and anger – definitely never again!

Okay, I was with my family today for a birthday. What I liked: great service. There is help and cleaning +- every 15 minutes. There are not many dishes, but I want to note that you should not eat sushi there, but everything else is quite tasty. Some people in the family simply had a bloated stomach (it was from 2-3 pieces of sushi). It's quite strange. Unfortunately, there are cracked plates and flies flying. Because the door to the street is open, they fly into the hall. Sit down to eat, etc. It's also very hot. I give 3 stars, purely because of the very nice staff.

We were there for the lunch buffet. Even without the BBQ, there was a huge selection, and we tried a lot of it. We enjoyed all of the food, without exception. Soft drinks and coffee were included in the price of €19.50 per person. This made it very good value for money. Although it's self-service, the service was very quick and friendly. Empty plates and bottles were cleared away in record time. We'd be happy to come back.

We visited the Go Palast from Baden-Württemberg. The welcome was very friendly, and we were shown to our seats. The friendly gentleman explained everything to us in detail. The selection is huge, whether it's food, drinks, or desserts. We were very satisfied and can highly recommend the Go Palast.

When I heard we'd be going to GoPalast again, I was really excited. I'd been there once before and knew what to expect. An experience for all the senses. We were there on a Saturday, when admission is €36. Admittedly, that sounds like a lot at first. But when you consider everything included in that price, it quickly becomes more reasonable. GoPalast also offers different prices depending on the time of day, day of the week, and the age of the children. This means you can dine there more affordably depending on the situation. We were there from 6 p.m. and had a generous time slot until 10:30 p.m. During this time, you can help yourself to as much as you like from the buffet. All non-alcoholic drinks are included in the price, including tea. And the best part: there are no cheap products, just a decent selection of brand-name drinks. There are hot dishes in all variations, from classic Asian dishes to salads and various desserts. There's even a chocolate fountain. If you like, you can also choose fresh, raw meat, hand it over to the kitchen, and then relax and sit down at your table. The food is served directly to you, a nice service, even if it didn't work quite smoothly that evening. The restaurant itself is very large and offers seating of varying sizes, from cozy tables for four to long tables for larger groups. The atmosphere is accordingly lively, but also loud. Especially during busy times, you should be aware that there will be a certain amount of background noise. There's a small play area with a ball pit for children, which is ideal for family visits. What struck me that evening: Some of the service staff seemed quite new and obviously hadn't quite gotten used to their new surroundings yet. Plates were delivered to the wrong table several times, but that didn't bother us. In another corner, several plates, sometimes entire stacks, fell loudly to the floor at least three or four times that evening. There was also one employee who gave the impression that he had perhaps spent his break a little too "relaxed." He seemed clearly out of it and was barely approachable. A nice end to the visit: As you leave, you can take a fortune cookie from the tin. A small gesture with great charm that rounds off the evening pleasantly. In conclusion: If you love good food, appreciate a wide selection, and can overlook a certain background noise, you'll definitely get your money's worth here. The GoPalast isn't a place for quiet togetherness, but rather for convivial evenings where enjoyment, variety, and satisfying food are the focus.

Das Angebot hat leider nachgelassen. Ich erinnere mich noch gut an die Anfänge des Restaurants. Leider stimmen Preis/Leistung nicht mehr. Wir waren an einem Freitag Mittag da. Für 19,50 kann man sicher eine Menge essen, sofern man vor allem frittiertes und öliges Essen mag. Frisches sucht man hier, außer ein paar neutral schmeckenden Tomaten und Gurken, leider vergeblich. Das Sushi ist vor allem vegetarisch, ab und an verirrt sich ein Stück Lachs. Die Gefäße für die Sojasoße waren teilweise verschmutzt. Das Personal an den Tischen ist aber sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Yes, it's busy on a Saturday afternoon. The price may seem high at first, but when you think about it, for such a variety of food AND drinks included, it's unbeatable!

Once and never again!!! Deceived by the "good" reviews, we chose this restaurant. It was a complete disaster! It was dirty, with food scraps everywhere on the sides and on the serving carts. The food was cold and poorly presented. We generally felt unclean. The presentation and food containers were messy. The white chocolate fountain looked anything but white chocolate (gray/brown). It's not recommended for vegetarians at all. There's no vegetarian sushi, nor any vegetarian dishes (unless you're content with noodles and rice for €35). To top it all off, the vegetarian vegetables are grilled directly alongside the meat and fish in the same oil. This is also more than unsuitable for people with fish allergies. If we hadn't had to pay at the entrance, we would have turned around and left immediately. For that price, it's pure mass processing. Without love for food, but purely for the love of one's own (owner's) wallet!

Absolutely great, the shop will definitely be back, price/performance ratio top, there were frog legs you can eat but you won't get full from them, so I stuck to the zebra and kangaroo

A chic all-you-can-eat restaurant with room for quite a few guests. Even though you had to wait a bit, it moved quickly. You're greeted warmly and shown to your reserved table. If you've never been there before, you'll be given a "tour" of the restaurant. There's a wide selection of food and drinks, with non-alcoholic drinks (juice, soda, water) included in the price. From shark, zebra, sushi, fries, salads to crème brûlée, chocolate fountain, etc., there was simply everything. Due to the large number of hungry people, refills of some popular dishes were slow. Despite everything, it's a good restaurant with friendly staff. I'd be happy to come back.

We were there for the first time, the price was 36€ per person. I was a bit surprised, but you really get a very large selection including drinks. The food was very tasty, there were also unusual things such as: B. Kangaroo or zebra. I think the selection of drinks and the fact that you can take as much as you want at any time is great. The service is very friendly and quick. You should be very hungry to be able to try everything. We will definitely come back.

Since everything is self-service, including drinks, I can't really judge the service myself: and I miss the ambience, the typical Chinese that I know from a smaller restaurant, just because that's how I know it. But otherwise it's really great here and I really enjoy being here

So far we have always been very satisfied and come to the Gopalast. It is something different than just sitting down, being served and leaving again. The offer is varied, there is something for every taste. Many thanks to the staff, who, among other things, clears away the used dishes, provides the buffet and drinks, prepares the food at reception or works in all other areas. The only drawback is the cleanliness of the toilets, which have almost always been unclean. This should be improved.

Great buffet restaurant! There is something for every taste. You can have your desired ingredients freshly prepared or enjoy ready-made dishes. All very tasty. Only the selection of vegetables isn't that big, so I would have liked a little more choice. The desserts are very tasty and the selection of drinks is sufficient. We'll be back.

Huge, loud, full of people. We came from further away hoping to experience something different. In the end, it's like almost all other Asian buffets. The only advantage are the non-stop drinks (included in the price). Unfortunately, the freshly prepared one was the bigger disappointment. It's clear to me that not everything goes well with so much mass, but it's basically just raw pieces of meat or fish/seafood fried, no spices. Some of the fish was even seared too much (just before black). Only the previously marinated skewers were really great. All in all, it's still quite appealing for people nearby. If you live further away, you can also go to the buffet around the corner, in my opinion. Overall we found it quite ok, but unfortunately nothing more.

The selection was so limited that I briefly thought I'd accidentally picked the children's buffet. But no – that was it. If you've ever wanted to know what it feels like to make a spontaneous survival trip through your own digestion – then head to this temple of culinary despair! The quality of the meat? Let's put it this way: I didn't know beef could have the consistency of eraser. The chicken was so dry that even a desert seemed juicy in comparison. And the fish? Let's just say it had had quite an exciting life… Possibly in the trunk of an old, rusty van in the blazing sun. At least the vegetables were crunchy. But that was probably only because they were cut so thickly that they couldn't be fried. The selection was clear – and by "clear," I mean that even a sandwich offers more variety. The sauces were a gamble: one tasted like liquid boredom, the other like an accident in the cleaning supplies aisle...an exciting experience: everything from "Indefinable" to "Why does it burn without spice?" was there. If you want to treat your stomach to a tough boot camp, this is definitely the place... If you want to put your taste buds to the test and experience an exciting night on the toilet, you should definitely stop by. There are those restaurants where you walk out and think, "Wow, that was worth every cent!" – yes, and then there's this place. 34 euros per person for a buffet that sounds like someone at the supermarket just randomly threw things from the frozen food aisle into the pan. Our group arrived hungry and full of anticipation – and left with broken hearts and a deep hole in their wallets. You won't see us again.

I was there today and was actually looking forward to the food. It was generally delicious, and I came all the way from another city to try it. However, I expected more for the price. The atmosphere was good, but unfortunately a bit loud. I was disappointed that all the meat dishes, including the pork, are cooked on the same grill. So, if you don't eat pork, you'd rather have your own meat grilled in a separate area! I found it particularly annoying that no cutlery was provided at the buffet, and we had to ask for it every time. That really could have been better organized. The restrooms weren't clean either. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. Never again!

I went there for the very first time! Conclusion: once and never again! At first glance the selection of drinks seems quite large, but upon closer inspection there are only 5 types and unfortunately most of the fridges were empty. Regarding the buffet: loveless mass production that doesn't exactly taste good. You can get the sushi at the discount store around the corner, the duck/chicken had the consistency of a shoe sole, but my absolute highlight was the sweet and sour sauce and the Peking soup. A “flavor explosion” of ketchup topped with vinegar and/or cucumber water (that’s how I tasted it). The soup was exactly the same, served with far too much salt. The whole fun cost us 36 euros per person. Congratulations!

The ambience is typical of a buffet restaurant: large, a bit noisy, but clean. The price-performance ratio is reasonable for a quick, uncomplicated meal.

We had arranged to meet another couple and wanted to enjoy the child-free evening. So we also noted when making the reservation that we didn't want to sit in the children's area. We arrived and got a table near the war zone (children's area). All the children screamed constantly, making conversation almost impossible. Now it's mass processing and you feel like you're on a super bad all-inclusive Egypt vacation. You can safely save yourself! Better go to a real restaurant.

Unfortunately I/we were very disappointed. Our table was dirty and sticky, as were the refrigerators, where one or two drinks spilled and not just that evening. Glasses and plates weren't really clean either. The service was soberly unfriendly, turned its back on me completely and only talked to my male companion, not even looking at me when she explained to us how things worked in the restaurant. She was very unfriendly and monotone. There was NO vegetarian offer, although this was specifically requested when making the reservation. You could only have side dishes fried. For meat lovers, I would say it's ok, but not outstanding. Due to the sometimes really dirty atmosphere, the unfriendly service and the mediocre food, we were unfortunately very disappointed and would not recommend it to others. Thank you anyway and hopefully you will treat other people a little more kindly than you treat us.

Eating was a dream again, everything was great except the masses of people and the noise. Unfortunately, that really took us out of the habit. I might try it again during the week, but if it's so crowded and noisy again I won't come back.

Were here on Saturday evening, never again. Totally loud. All you could see were bunches of people lining up to get some food. Meter-long queues for grills or ice cream. Only the waiters and waitresses were quick on their feet as always and diligently cleared the tables.

You have to try the food, it was top of the line.

When you come to eat at 8:15 p.m., there are sometimes no desserts left. Employees stand or sit bored on their cell phones, the selection of sushi was a joke! Chicken, duck and fries/wedges from the warm things were absolutely no longer edible. Freshly fried chicken and kangaroo were great, beef was unfortunately rubbery and tough. Basically a rest ramp at full price 👍🏼 And for 68€ for two, absolute extortion! At 9:15 p.m. the service was already stressed because a few plates had to be cleared from the table. What an underground way at these prices! First and definitely last visit there.

Once and never again! All the food is cold or just lukewarm, which gave us stomach problems the next day. My husband had diarrhea and vomiting that it got so bad that he had to go to the hospital. This company doesn't know that the food must be at least 60 degrees. Everything else leaves a lot to be desired, tables sticky, very dirty plate trolleys, pushy staff when clearing the tables, the toilets a disaster. The 2 stars are for the selection of drinks and the buffet, only the food must be prepared properly.

Purely from All You Can Eat, the selection was really great. Only the meat was too mixed for me personally. Even the chicken. And I'm not a big fan of the clamping procedure (for hygiene reasons). Especially since we got a plate back with meat on it that we didn't put together. Unfortunately, the toilets were near disaster. And for me personally there were just far too many people. You had to wait in line for a really long time for sushi. When it came to sushi, I thought it was a shame that there was only a vegetarian alternative. And due to the large number of people, it took forever until our table was cleared. All in all it was okay, but we won't be coming back.

In short: The Gopalast is the ideal place to sweeten your day with a dash of humor and a portion of culinary luxury. What the formal statement is in the German language: Ladies and Gentlemen I often visit your restaurant during the day with my family. There are nine of us and I usually only eat shrimp and banana juice there. However, I recently saw employees handling fruits without gloves and also preparing tiramisu with bare hands without following proper hygiene measures. This raises serious questions about compliance with hygiene regulations. Since I saw this, I no longer eat all of my meals. I request that you resolve this issue as hygiene and food safety are of utmost importance to guests. I would be very happy if last year's chocolate biscuits could be made again - they were really delicious! It would also be great if there was something with seafood for lunch since we don't eat meat. Were there on a Saturday with a reservation. The line was extremely long but you got in after a good 10 minutes. The selection of food and drink is plentiful and well labeled. The food that was brought to the kitchen to be roasted only arrived after 30-45 minutes, during which time we were already hungry and helped ourselves to dessert and brought another plate to roast. The table was cleared well at the beginning, at some point the empty bottles and plates piled up. You have to say, it was of course well filled but the neighboring tables were cleared again and again. The parking space was very limited because most people were already there early and you couldn't get anything directly in front of the store. There was still parking outside on the street. But for the first visit it was okay. :)
