I highly recommend the Rhodos. The restaurant and kitchen staff are exclusively Greek. (I've been to Italian restaurants before, where I've been served by people of other nationalities.) I much prefer that, as I'm eating in a Greek restaurant. Vasili and his staff are very accommodating and very friendly. You feel very comfortable and a bit transported to Greece. Thumbs up.

I'm a little disappointed! I made a reservation for the terrace three weeks in advance (8 people/company) and had to sit inside. 🤨 And at the end of the evening, we were really chased away and had to choke down our drinks! It's a shame, we always loved coming here!

The food was delicious. I thought it was of very good quality. The service and location are excellent, and we will definitely eat there again.

The food was good...except for the pork fillet, which was very dry. The portion was good. The price/value ratio was OK. The salad could have been improved; it was a budget version with half a slice of tomato and the rest just iceberg lettuce...zero Greek character, not even an olive. The service wasn't particularly interested in us, and we only got a second drink when we asked for it. The biggest surprise was that this was the first time I've eaten Greek food (in about 45 years) that there was no liquor on the house. A real shame.

For me, this is my favorite Greek restaurant for miles around. Unfortunately, it's gotten a bit more expensive, but the food is still very good. And if you order takeout, you get huge portions 😁

I can only recommend the Rhodos restaurant; very friendly service and delicious, fresh food are a given. Ouzo afterwards is normal here.

The food was not good the second time. Giro's meat was completely dry, the edges were dark and it was inedible, horrible at first glance. The restaurant is no better than before, thank you, never again!

The food wasn't good, the meat was dry, the edges of the meat were dark and dried out, it was hard and inedible. I know this restaurant from before but it's not comparable, the service was also asleep and had no interest in anything. I can't recommend this restaurant. I will never come back, I don't deserve a second sentence!

An absolute DISASTER and NOT recommended! We were greeted without even a word of greeting by the very disinterested and bored waiter who came to take our order. The meal itself consisted of a lackluster side salad, and the meat had the consistency of a sole. Absolutely NOT justified for the price. So, the service and food are 0/5 stars. We definitely won't be coming back!

Highly recommended. Delicious food at fair prices! Even though the entire beer garden was packed and there was a constant coming and going, we received our food extremely quickly, in under 15 minutes. We were very satisfied with everything!

We had the grill platter for two. The food was enough for four people and was very tasty. Very friendly service. Definitely one of the better Greek restaurants. Highly recommended. Parking is available across the street under the bridge for a fee, except on weekends.

Overall, the restaurant is highly recommended. There were four of us dining at the restaurant. We were seated on the terrace in front of the restaurant. The service was okay, but we had to wait an hour for our food. One of our group spoke Greek and chatted with the server. Of course, the server spoke German and informed us that our food would take a while. All four of us received our orders at the same time. It's also worth mentioning that the restaurant was completely full when we placed our orders. The food was very tasty, the staff friendly, and the prices reasonable.

We have been coming to Rhodes for a long time and have never been disappointed. Very tasty Greek specialties, friendly, courteous service and short waiting times. Aperitif is on the house. Always worth a visit.

For those with limited mobility, there are about 10 steps to climb before reaching the entrance, so it's not suitable for wheelchair users unless you have a strong helper to carry the wheelchair with you.

We were there on 09/20/24. for lunch at the Greek Restaurant Rhodes in Passau. We have been there several times to test the quality. The service was very accommodating and this time we sat in the restaurant, everything was very clean, including the toilets 👍. The ambience is very harmonious but there is still a bit of room for improvement. Something is missing, maybe tablecloths or something🤷‍♀️ for a restaurant, the back wall is very nice with Greek relics, but the front is a bit cold, but very clean. We ordered a beer and a white wine, the lunch menu was gyros and sheep's cheese gratinated with pita bread. Drinks arrived quickly, a Greek white wine, it wasn't bad, but there are better ones Price. The beer was nice and cold and a local beer from the region for €4.80 half the measure🤷‍♀️. The food didn't take long to arrive, the gyros lunch menu, I ordered it with French fries, the meat was very good and juicy and spicy, the tzatziki was also very good, just a little more please. Otherwise nothing major to complain about. The gratinated goat cheese looked very nice and tasted very good too. See photo. It can actually be ordered on the menu as an appetizer. The pita bread was ok. Overall the food was good. Having visited the restaurant frequently, we can easily recommend the restaurant. Decent, clean restaurant with friendly service and good cuisine🙏❤️ Good price, close to the pedestrian zone, parking spaces and the happenings of Passau. We were there for dinner last night. The garden was full and despite all the work, the service staff were very, very nice. The food was excellent. We would love to come back and anyone who wants to have really good Greek food is in good hands here.

The food has been a dream for over 20 years 😋 The only drawback: as soon as you get your food, no waiter comes and asks if you would like something more to drink. Unfortunately, empty glasses are ignored.

Frozen goods (children's schnitzel) were fried and served carelessly by a bored staff at a completely overpriced price and the Suvlaki wasn't much better...all of this probably under the guise of high energy and personnel costs. Sorry for something like that, but hey, people are into it and will pay for it, so keep it up, just not with us anymore ;-)

We have been coming to Rhodes for many years. This was my parents' favorite restaurant. The quality of the food remains very good - always beautifully prepared. Plus top staff and a great terrace.

Quantity instead of quality and horrendous prices. A small pizza bread with the tzatziki €3.50 extra. Not even dressing for the unimaginative green leaf salad.

Ein Mittag- oder Abendessen im Rhodos ist absolut empfehlenswert. Qualitativ hochwertige Speisen, schneller und freundlicher Service und ein angemessenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sind schon seit Jahren gegeben. Außerdem bekommt man auch einen gratis Ouzo oder Likör, was früher öfter in Lokalen der Fall war, aber hier Seltenheitswert hat. Nachdem jetzt Hochwasser-bedingt eine Weile Pause war, freue ich mich wieder auf regelmäßig schöne und angenehme Abende im Freundeskreis.

By the way: As one of the few restaurants, the tax increase (VAT) was NOT passed on to the customers. One more reason to enjoy Greek hospitality in Passau more often! Welcome to Greece. With Vasili and his family you really feel like you are in Greece. Plus the best Greek food far and wide. We love it. Of course this also includes a small Ouzo or Metaxa. Really highly recommended! 👍

First of all, the food was good and sufficient, a MUST at these prices. But if a children's portion costs €16, it was the first and last time in this restaurant, is it still possible? I find the noise level in the restaurant to be extremely high and the staff's mood to be quite stressed, which really bothered me as a guest. In short, it's mass processing for which you have to dig deep into your pockets once and never again.

The staff is not friendly, the chef is arrogant, we will never come to this establishment again!!!!

Hallo,wir waren,wollten um 17.30Uhr ins Rhodos um Kaffee,Tee und Pommes für Kinder zu bestellen. Das war anscheinend zu wenig und wir sollten gehen weil alles reserviert ist und die Gäste bald kommen,der Versuch das wir nur 30Minuten bleiben weil wir eine Schifffahrt machen war egal,um 18.00Uhr kommen alle Gäste und alle Tische sind dann voll,obwohl draußen wie drinnen noch nichts los war. Finde es unmöglich,hochnäßig und anstandslos wenn man so des Platzes verwiesen wird. Vielleicht war es auch zu anstrengend weil wir unsere 3Kinder dabei hatten. Wir hätten dem Restaurant keinen Gast weggenommen Weilheim einem ReserviertenTisch wären wir sicher aufgestanden. Egal,nicht weit weg war auch ein Restaurant die haben sich gefreut das wir da waren,wenn auch nur kurz.

If you're in the mood for Greek cuisine, you're in good hands here. The meat was okay and with fries as a side dish you can't go wrong as a host. The side salad would have benefited from a little less dressing. It looked very pleasant on the terrace. However, it was very loud inside. The service was friendly and quick.

After entering the restaurant, you should be aware that, according to the owner, you MUST consume there and the table that was offered to you must also be occupied. The free decision to stay there or go is met with astonishment on the part of the operator! An unparalleled impudence... oh yes, and going to the toilet costs €2 extra, but you get a dirty and run-down toilet. THANK YOU, NEVER AGAIN!
