Rhodos in Passau - Telefonnummer, Reservierungen, Bewertungen

Ein Mittag- oder Abendessen im Rhodos ist absolut empfehlenswert. Qualitativ hochwertige Speisen, schneller und freundlicher Service und ein angemessenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sind schon seit Jahren gegeben. Außerdem bekommt man auch einen gratis Ouzo oder Likör, was früher öfter in Lokalen der Fall war, aber hier Seltenheitswert hat. Nachdem jetzt Hochwasser-bedingt eine Weile Pause war, freue ich mich wieder auf regelmäßig schöne und angenehme Abende im Freundeskreis.

Hallo,wir waren,wollten um 17.30Uhr ins Rhodos um Kaffee,Tee und Pommes für Kinder zu bestellen. Das war anscheinend zu wenig und wir sollten gehen weil alles reserviert ist und die Gäste bald kommen,der Versuch das wir nur 30Minuten bleiben weil wir eine Schifffahrt machen war egal,um 18.00Uhr kommen alle Gäste und alle Tische sind dann voll,obwohl draußen wie drinnen noch nichts los war. Finde es unmöglich,hochnäßig und anstandslos wenn man so des Platzes verwiesen wird. Vielleicht war es auch zu anstrengend weil wir unsere 3Kinder dabei hatten. Wir hätten dem Restaurant keinen Gast weggenommen Weilheim einem ReserviertenTisch wären wir sicher aufgestanden. Egal,nicht weit weg war auch ein Restaurant die haben sich gefreut das wir da waren,wenn auch nur kurz.

The food was very delicious. I found it to be of very good quality. The service and the place are excellent and without a doubt we will eat there again.

We ate here for the first time last night. And what should we say? The food: We had eggplant as a starter (very tasty!) and then a fish platter for two people (overwhelming!). We both go fishing ourselves and enjoy eating fish frequently in a variety of restaurants or preparing it in a variety of ways. The fish platter at Rhodes was one of the best fish dishes we have ever had (the last time it was so good was on holiday in the Lake District in the specialist upscale fish restaurant)! Our two Chihuahuas were also warmly welcomed and we were given a quieter table at the edge so that the two of them could have peace and quiet. The service was more than friendly and we felt very comfortable. Also mentioned at the end: the sanitary facilities are also nice and noticeably clean! This was certainly not our last visit to Rhodes!

Update: Big praise to the restaurant, as one of the few restaurants here the tax increase (VAT) was NOT passed on to the customers. One more reason to enjoy Greek hospitality in Passau more often! Welcome to Greece. With Vasili and his family you really feel like you are in Greece. Plus the best Greek food far and wide. We love it. Of course this also includes a small Ouzo or Metaxa. Really highly recommended! 👍

Great ambience and great food, not only are the pictures on the menu beautiful, the service is also very attractive. Is and remains the best Greek restaurant in the region.

Very authentic Greek restaurant

Service and ambience good. Unfortunately, some of the meat was burnt and had been on the grill for too long and was therefore dry. Simple potato chips, offered as fried potatoes, came out of the bag, the kind you get frozen everywhere. Average Greek food.

Very friendly staff. Food came relatively quickly. Portion sufficient. The liver was very well fried, as was the gyros. However, the side dishes were pretty lame. Fries unsalted, the noodle rice also bland. The liver could have used a little love too. Some kind of thyme or/garlic. Everything is a bit meaningless. Salad only has vinegar and oil, all a bit bland. The espresso was very small. The mocha bag is only half full. Conclusion: you get full, but nothing more. The place is clean and tidy, relatively large. In summer you can also sit outside.

Great island with beautiful beaches

Waren heute nach langer Zeit mal wieder im Rhodos, Qualität hat deutlich nachgelassen, Leber war zäh, das Gyros nur lauwarm, die Pita Massenware aus dem Großhandel und total ausgetrocknet.

Wir waren am Samstag Abend (Feiertag) dort Haben ohne Reservierung einen Platz für zwei Personen bekommen Es war zwar viel los, aber dennoch war das Personal nicht gestresst und sehr freundlich Das essen war sehr lecker Wir hatten einmal Gyros mit Nudelreis und einmal überbackenes Gyros Dazu zwei Pita Der Nudelreis war etwas kalt, aber sonst war alles ok

Hervorragender Service, köstliche Speisen und großzügige Portionen. Unsere Erfahrung war durchweg positiv, und wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Sehr lecker, für mich der beste Grieche in Passau und Umgebung Edit: leider muss ich meine Bewertung verschlechtern. Wir wollten jetzt schon mehrmals etwas to go bestellen. Telefonisch ist das Restaurant nicht mehr zu erreichen. Es läutet ewig und keiner geht ran. Ich verstehe wenn viel los ist, aber wäre schön das auch zu kommunizieren oder dann das to go einfach nicht mehr anzubieten

War komplett voll,das Personal sehr freundlich hat uns kurz gebeten an der Bar zu warten, war eine kurze Wartezeit, super Tisch bekommen, Essen exzellent.

Das Essen war sehr gut und trotz eines voll gefüllten Lokals mussten wir auch nicht lange warten. Die Preise sind allerdings schon sehr hoch.

Da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Immer Portionen ok und Geschmack ok. Freundlichkeit stets vorhanden.

Das Lammkotelette war zäh, das Hack verbrannt, die Bohnen aus der Dose, das restliche Fleisch trocken, die Bratkartoffeln labbrig und ungewürzt und der Beilagensalat nur Blattsalat mit Essig und Öl. Es kam keiner und hat gefragt, ob ich noch etwas trinken möchte und obwohl es kalt war, wurde ich direkt neben der Tür platziert, wahrscheinlich weil ich alleine war. Das Hefe hat dafür 4,50 (!!!!) gekostet. Alles in allem ein sehr enttäuschendes Erlebnis.

Im Lokal ist es sehr laut, wenn es voll besetzt ist.

Restaurante con mucho ambiente. Servicio rápido. Los camareros muy amables. La zona esta rodeada de aparcamientos, por lo que es ideal para ir a comer o cenar y darte despues una vuelta por la ciudad. Recomendable.

Greek restaurant near the Donau. Good atmosphere, rather busy. Fresh food.

Obwohl wir Sonntag Abend zum Essen dort waren, haben wir (obwohl das Restaurant voll war) sehr schnell unsere Gerichte bekommen. Der Service war super, die Kellner sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das essen schmeckt hervorragend, die Portionsgröße ist überdurchschnittlich. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Essen war lecker, leider waren die Kellner ein wenig gestresst.

Essen wie immer TOP, der Service freundlich und schnell, Getränke wurden schnell serviert und auch auf das Essen mussten wir nicht lange warten. Die Portionen sind sehr reichlich. Auch heute wieder 5 Sterne- zu Recht....

Absolut empfehlenswert ist der gegrillte Oktopus und auch das Mussaka. Köstlich! Dazu schönes Ambiente und nettes Personal!

Leckeres Essen, trotz sehr vollem Lokal, bekamen wir nen Platz, wurden auch vom Keller gewarnt vorab, dass das Essen bis zu 45min dauernd könnte,was auch zugetroffen hatte,aber hat sich gelohnt, war lecker..

Ein sehr gepflegtes Restaurant mit Außenterrasse und einer umfangreichen Karte. Die Speisen waren lecker und absolut reichlich. Preislich top. 👍 Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren spontan um 17Uhr dort. Die Speisen kamen zügig und waren sehr lecker bei mehr als ausreichend großen Portionen. Vermutlich wird es in dem Laden unangenehm laut, wenn er voll besetzt ist. Dennoch entweder draußen oder zu früherer Stunde eine sehr gute Adresse in zentraler Lage

Hallo das war jetzt wirklich das letzte mal das wir ins Rhodos gegangen sind. Meine Frau und ich haben uns vor 40 Jahren im Alten Rhodos ( Ortsspitze) kennen gelernt da war der Service noch super. Jetzt kommen wir so 2 x im Jahr aus Straubing runter nun nicht mehr. Am Donnerstag 24.08.2023 so gegen 17.30 Uhr waren wir im Lokal. Bestellten wie immer Gyros- Kalamari Salat war grenzwertig und die Extraportion Zaiziki hätten wir uns sparen können da schmeckt der Becher von Kaufland Eigenmarke besser und ist um einiges billiger. Auf die Frage vom Kellner ob das Essen geschmeckt hat sagte ich früher war es besser ja meinte Er der Koch ist noch derselbe. Auf unsere Frage wo den Vasilie sei sagte er in Urlaub und sein Sohn auch. Und mit dem Koch hat er uns auch angelogen weil nämlich Christina ( Vasilies Frau ) normaler weise das Zepter in der Küche schwingt. Apropos die Kellner sind wirklich die allerletzten unhöflich bis geht nicht mehr. Wie gesagt NIE mehr. Ps: 2x Gyros Kalamari Extraportion Zaiziki und 1 Wasser & 1 Apfelschorle stolze 51,60 Euros.

Das Personal ist wahrscheinlich nur zu Stammgästen freundlich. Die warmen Vorspeisen sind lächerlich. Ich hatte Schafskäse vom Backofen mit Tomaten, Paprika, Zwiebeln und Peperoni. Bekommen habe ich 2 Tomatenscheiben, die geteilt waren, also 4 Stückchen, 2 kleine grüne Peperoni, 3 dünne Scheibchen Schafskäse, und ein paar Stückchen grünen Paprika oben drauf. Preis € 9,00. Die Tzatziki-Portion für € 4,00 besteht mengenmäßig aus 2 Eßlöffeln. Das Restaurant ist auf reine Abfertigung ausgelegt: Essen, zahlen und dann bitte schnell das Lokal verlassen, damit neue Kundschaft Platz hat. Es gibt bessere Restaurants.

This Greek rest is one of the best I have ever visited, Greece included. The decor was upscale and the food superb. The Dolmades were fresh, tender and seasoned with just the right amount of lemon. My wife had the Moussaka and she described it as delicious. I had a farmers platter with pork chops, gyro and souvlaki. The meats were not over cooked and well seasoned.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local resident as being very good. When we arrived without a reservation it was packed. We were very fortunate to get a table. The decor is typical of a Greek restaurant, providing an enjoyable ambience. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We shared grilled octopus as a starter, which was quite expensive and slightly rubbery together with taramasalata and pitta bread, which were both enjoyable. This was followed by a fish platter for two which would have been to much for four!!!! We were overwhelmed, nevertheless the food was very enjoyable, the fish included calamari rings, zander, salmon and butterfly king prawns, with a lot of fried potatoes and and enjoyable pasta rice. There was far to much for two of us which rather spoiled our dinner because we were overwhelmed by the quantity. The ouzo was enjoyable but the rose wine not so. We would visit this restaurant again but order smaller or single portions!

The restaurant looks nice and clean The food is very regular also the basic gyros no tasty Don t order a pizza who they offer it’s terrible and better forget it. It s on the menus card like normal food but than they tell u is only por kids and here is a Greek rest. The personal very bad handling of clients

We went to Restaurant Rhodos the first night of our family vacation, and we've been truly happy! The service is great, the waiters are kind, caring and precise to explain some details about the dishes. The portions are really big, and the food is very good. Definitely recommended.

Either you like greek food or not this place its going to be your favorite.Quality is on top level,food is delicious and portions are big.Highly recommended.

The restaurant, only a short stroll from Passau´s pedestrian zone, is nicely decorated in Greek style. We were there with a group of 8 and were served quickly. The staff is very friendly, the portions are generous and food is very tasty. After lunch all of us were presented with OUZO for free. We will be back. Definetly.

Outstanding Greek food portions are huge and they’re delicious and services equally good but take your time enjoy. Very can Vignon to the Danube River and downtown activities don’t forget to get your baklava after dinner

We arrived with large group and no reservation, but were able to be seated inside. However, the terrace looked very nice also. I had the Epidaurus-platte that seemed to have a little of many different things. It was excellent and way more than I needed to eat, but hard to stop! Of course we had to try the Baklava; very tasty! A round of Ouzo and we had a wonderful time here. Staff was definitely from Greece and were helpful and attentive.

Nice and friendly, service was quick, a little rushed at fist but as we don't speak German it took some figuring out, then the waiter brought us an English menu, after that it was all good. Even got a free shot of ouzo each at the end of the meal. Great atmosphere. Good food Good price.

We were seated; the waiter swiftly brought us English menus, we ordered two beers and one platter for two. The drinks arrived quickly, and then we started waiting. Our waiter served everyone near us (all locals) passing us at least a half a dozen times. After noticing that people that ordered after us got their food and we did not, I signed to the waiter “what’s happening”, he did not come to us but a few minutes later another waiter arrived with menu’s saying they do not have our order. Mistakes do happen, but after waiting for so long we expected that our waiter would at least come to apologize. Not doing so, we decided to leave without eating, after sitting for nearly one hour. If you at not a local, I strongly suggest not visiting this restaurant.
