Akropolis Athen in Passau

I went to this restaurant for dinner today, and it was a very pleasant experience. The interior is cozy and quiet, with soft music playing in the background, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing evening. I ordered a vegetable dish and a glass of wine; the food was fresh and delicious, and the wine was of high quality. It was served with fresh, warm bread. The prices are reasonable for the quality, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The service was quick, and I didn't have to wait long. If you're looking for a delicious dinner in a relaxed atmosphere, this restaurant is an excellent choice.

A piece of Greece in Passau. If you love Greek cuisine, this is the place for you! As soon as you enter the restaurant, you'll feel like you're on vacation: The authentic Greek decor creates an immediate feel-good atmosphere. But what impressed us most was the team. The staff is incredibly attentive and extremely friendly, making the visit a thoroughly pleasant experience. And last but not least: the most important thing: the food. Every dish was very well prepared and incredibly tasty. You can tell that quality is important here. Conclusion: A successful break that we will definitely repeat. We'd love to come back!

The soup portions were small and the wait time for the food was long. They gave me watered down soda as a drink. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice, but if you're looking for quality, I wouldn't recommend it.

The Acropolis salad was terrible! The calamari was too salty, and the pepperoni and olives weren't tasty. The dish was misunderstood. When it was clarified, the service was only moderately pleasant.

I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

The restaurant is (in my opinion) perhaps a bit out of the way, but that's no criticism, as the staff is more attuned to their guests. Speaking of the staff: they were very attentive and were able to answer questions about the dishes precisely. Furthermore, the team there exuded harmony and friendliness, so a visit to the restaurant is already firmly planned for my next vacation. Finally, my gastronomic tip: the fish platter topped pretty much everything I've eaten with fish in recent years. The starter wasn't bad either. So, folks, head to the Acropolis Athens and enjoy some truly good food.

Chef Christos and his team warmly welcome you as soon as you enter. I've almost always enjoyed the food. For me, this is the best Greek restaurant in Passau.

The food was excellent. We all enjoyed it. We ate from the lunch menu, with main courses around the 10 € mark. Nice place. Professional staff. Quick service. Very reasonable prices for the srea.

The Apollon plate itself is really very successful. The Suflaki skewers are really awesome. The gyro was a bit too dry in my opinion. But all in all great.

Food was very good and everything was freshly prepared. It's been a long time since I've had calamari as good as there. The gyro was also crispy and well seasoned. Service was very quick and friendly. The only thing that always bothers me is the noise in there, you don't feel very comfortable and you feel a bit busy. Our visit to the restaurant lasted a maximum of 1 hour. That's why we prefer to sit outside in the summer 😌

The boss is always there to make sure everything is right. A door is stuck in the ladies' room. It should be repaired. The toilets are very clean. We'd love to come back. A restaurant that can be recommended.

We were there just before closing time at 2 p.m. We got something to eat without any problem. The food was great, the waiters were friendly. I know the Greek restaurant, I've been there every now and then for years and I always notice that it has maintained its high quality, at very good prices.👍👍👍👍

We really enjoyed it once again. We always come back here and we are always very satisfied.

It was just perfect. I was at Akropolis with my 3 year old daughter and my mother and what can I say, gyros gratinated in Metaxa sauce with fried potatoes were simply perfect, children's schnitzel with fried potatoes was simply a huge portion and for €10 and it was really a perfect chicken schnitzel There was also salad, fried potatoes and tzatziki as a side dish, but the cellar immediately brought us ketchup without asking. My mom had the village plate and she was thrilled. My mom also liked the wine and the ice cream with fruit for €3.50 was simply great, waffle, fruit and 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream. If I could give 100 stars I would do it in a heartbeat. The service was also top notch and the waiters always gave my daughter lollipops, which was really sweet and she was really happy. We will be back! Thank you

Lunch menu at very reasonable prices!!! On top of that, a tasty meal in sufficient quantities! Very good "fried potatoes" (fried), unfortunately you have to order a salad as well. Clear at the price! But recommended at any time. Insider tip for those who like it: the grilled liver. I don't eat anywhere else anymore.

Very cool Greek furnishings, good service even with Metaxa at the beginning. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that tasty. Mixed salad was green salad with 1 olive, lots of onion and coleslaw from the jar. We had a lamb plate and an Apollo plate. Lamb skewer very tough, gyros and suvlaki as well. The latter hardly seasoned. “Roast potatoes” are fried potato slices, rice was overcooked and seasoned with a lot of tomato paste. Tzatziki with hardly any cucumber. Service and ambience were nice, but we won't be coming back for food because it's very expensive compared to the service.

You can go here if you want good Greek food. The portions are relatively large. The prices are still reasonable, but they are not cheap (Apollon plate, for example, 18.50 euros). There is a lot of seating there. You can also make a reservation there at short notice. The staff is very nice. On a positive note, the restaurant is very child-friendly. If small children run around a bit, it doesn't bother them. Very sympathic. There is enough parking space on site. All in all we can recommend the restaurant.
