I went for a classic Currywurst, titled the “Kanzler Filet – Schröder Art” (Chancellor Filet – Schröder Style) at Rheinischer Hafen in Hamburg, and it was honestly one of the best Currywursts I’ve ever had in my life! I also had the strawberry tiramisu, which was yummy and a sweet way to end the meal and the evening. Service was good, the food came out super quick, and staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was fine – comfortable enough, but nothing that really stood out. Overall, definitely worth a visit if you’re craving top-notch Currywurst.

We were there for a business lunch with clients. The pan-fried fish was delicious. We liked the photos of the interior. Service was friendly, even in English, since our guests didn't speak German.

The food was great, but I had an unpleasant experience when asking for the bill. After the waiter presented me the POS with the total, I asked him to put 10% tip. He said it's already included in the total shown and when I asked why it's already included without me saying so, he said it was "automatic" but also showed he could remove it. Not a great practice as it should be my choice, not something added by default without notice. The staff would probably benefit from updated training to avoid situations like this.

A quaint restaurant, very friendly, even water for the dog. Fast service, fast food. Unfortunately, they completely omitted the salt from all the dishes. Adding salt at the table doesn't taste as good as it does when cooked or fried. Otherwise, I'd go back anytime.

Great spot right by the harbor with a lovely terrace! The retro political-themed decor is quirky and gives it real character. Had the schnitzel which was perfectly cooked and generous portion. Nice selection of German standards on the menu. Service was friendly and the waterside location is perfect for a relaxed dinner. Prices are reasonable for the location at around €25 per person. Would definitely come back when in Hamburg!

We happened to pass by this restaurant and had a currywurst with fries 🍟. The server was in a good mood and we had a good laugh, which is always good. Ordering was quick, and I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture of the delicious food. The seating outside is comfortable and quiet. Definitely recommended.

Highly recommended. Especially during the day, the walk in the light to see the magnificent surroundings, the Fleet Islands. A day to take guests who aren't familiar with Hamburg and end up at the R.H. Once inside, nothing can go wrong—great cuisine.

Not a culinary highlight, but solid German cuisine, and you'll definitely be full here. The chicken cordon bleu was good, but the fish was too salty and the potatoes weren't cooked all the way through :( The staff, while friendly, seemed rather uninterested. We were taken here by our friends from Ahrensburg after a long but enjoyable day, yomping along the banks of the River Elbe. It was lovely to have a heart plateful of currywurst to replace all of those lost calories (and then some) washed down with a glass or two of red, when really and here’s a good tip, it ideally needed a litre or two of Pilsner. As you’ll see from the platefuls involved, it was quite the challenge! If you want to spend a pleasant evening with Kölsch beer and good food, this is the place to be. You'll be served quickly and (as is customary) you'll be given a new Kölsch glass without asking. The tarte flambée is highly recommended, and the currywurst was also very good. Special requests were also accommodated.

Great atmosphere with lots of memorable political posters and pictures. The schnitzel was very tasty and quite large. However, it arrived a bit too quickly for me. The service staff were very attentive.

We spent a lovely evening here last Saturday. The outdoor area is perfect for lingering. The food and cocktails were delicious. My husband's fried potatoes were a bit burnt, but after pointing this out to the waitress, he immediately brought a new portion. That's how it should be. Chefs are only human, too. The service was generally top-notch. I'd like to see it like that everywhere. Not constantly asking if everything was okay and not ignoring people. Instead, they responded immediately to a little hint and were always friendly. The restrooms were also super clean. We'd be happy to come back.

Siamo entrati senza prenotazione la domenica sera alle 21.30 dopo aver fatto l'Iron Man, affamati e distrutti, il cameriere ci ha accolti nonostante la cucina avrebbe chiuso entro 30 minuti, abbiamo ordinato due wiener schnitzel, 2 hamburger pool the beef , da bere acqua e birra, e devo dire che siamo rimasti piacevolmente soddisfatti. Abbiamo chiesto al cameriere se ci poteva prenotare un taxi e senza esitare ci ha accontentati.

We entered without a reservation on Sunday evening at 9:30 pm after having done the Iron Man, hungry and exhausted, the waiter welcomed us even though the kitchen would close in 30 minutes, we ordered two wiener schnitzels, 2 pool the beef hamburgers, water and beer to drink, and I must say that we were pleasantly satisfied. We asked the waiter if he could book us a taxi and without hesitation he obliged us.

You can tell they put a lot of care into their food. We sat outside, and the view of the canal was just beautiful. Peaceful and scenic, it made for a perfect spot to enjoy our meal. During a week in Hamburg I was here several times. The service was always attentive, friendly and quick. The food and the Kölsch were delicious. A beautiful piece of Cologne in the far north. Super.

While the food at this restaurant was quite good, the service was absolutely unacceptable. The waiter was rude, inattentive, and unprofessional from the start. When he brought the bill, he demanded a tip — despite giving poor service — and when I refused, he became aggressive. He started intimidating me and even interrogated me about where I was from. This behavior was completely out of line, made me feel unsafe, and has no place in any hospitality setting. I strongly urge the management to take this seriously and take appropriate action, including firing this individual. No customer should ever be treated this way.

Friendly, prompt, and attentive service. There's indoor and outdoor seating under umbrellas. There's a wide selection of hot and cold drinks and food. There are also snacks for those with a light appetite, such as Metthäppchen (meat snacks). Very tasty! We felt at home here and would gladly come back.

Were there again today after 2 years. The sauce for the schnitzel was very runny. The number of champions is very clear. Ordered 2 Altbier - got 2 Alster. Read this back because we wanted Altbier - then got 2 Kölsch with the note that Altbier was also Kölsch. What a rip off for guests who come from near Cologne. Our conclusion: We definitely won't bother you again. The food is not worth the money

Die Portionen sind sehr üppig, die Schnitzel echt lecker und die Steakhouspommes klasse. Die Kindergerichte sind für 8 Euro echt groß, vor allem gibt's noch einen Salat dazu. Alles in allem echt sehr zu empfehlen, obwohl es ja nicht typisch hamburgerisch ist.

There were 8 of us and it was really tasty. Plus a few wreaths of Kölsch. At first there was some very annoying music upstairs and a guy with a gong. Luckily it didn't last long, so we were able to have a good chat.

Wir sind gerne und oft in Köln und dann natürlich im Brauhaus. Was uns in Hamburg im Rheinischen Hafen geboten wurde , geht gar nicht und hat mit Brauhauskultur überhaupt nichts zu tun. Gestresstes Personal - das Restaurant war nur mäßig besucht- nahm die Bestellung auf. Nach knapp 5 Minuten kam das Essen, immerhin für 6 Personen. Dieses war teilweise nur lauwarm und die Portionen sehr klein. Krosse Haxe geht einfach anders - die Mikrowelle lässt grüßen.Preis- Leistung und der Service stimmen überhaupt nicht. Schade!

Attention, this is not a "Rhineland" restaurant, but a flawless "Kölsches" restaurant that has nothing to do with the rest of the Rhineland, especially Düsseldorf. Despite the great ambience, the (overpriced) kitchen was disappointing: the schnitzels were flattened to a millimeter height and consisted of 2/3 of partially hard breading, but had survived their stay in the microwave - just like the advertised "cream sauce" - that was a thin soup in a tiny pot. It's a shame, we had expected more from the people of Cologne.

Perfect central location, nice and comfortable to sit outside, delicious selection of food. Was there once at midday (lunch) and also in the evening. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and you can see their motivation, which is rare these days. That makes the atmosphere even more pleasant :-) The food itself is very tasty and exceptional (lunch menu very varied). It’s always on the “to visit” list whenever Hamburg arrives.

Gestresstes Personal, das spüren die Gäste. Nebenbei essen die Kollegen Flammkuchen, sollte man nicht unbedingt sehen, es sei denn die Essmanieren sind okay. Das Essen für 6 Personen kam nach sage und schreibe 5 Minuten, tlw. nur noch warm. Die Qualität entsprach in keiner Weise dem geforderten Preis. Das Ganze hier hat nichts mit der hervorragenden Kölschen Brauhauskultur zu tun.

Location on the Fleetinsel in Hamburg is basically cool. Interior is very reminiscent of the establishments of the permanent representation (offshoots?) or typical breweries and can be described as rather rustic. Service is friendly, but could be much more proactive. You had to make yourself noticed several times. Food, the classic currywurst/fries, was only ok considering the price-performance ratio, lukewarm fries and a currywurst that was also only lukewarm, albeit large. Sauce very tasty. Overall, you can definitely stop here for a quick beer or simple dishes in a rustic location. However, I wouldn't expect anything big or more...

The food was really good and the service was nice. Me and my friends took this sunday lunch as a fast typical meal in hamburg and we get basically what we wanted. Flammenkuchen, curry wurst, schnitzel, kartoffelsuppe and goat’s cheese something that i didn’t like so much, just as the fact that it’s price was 18,50€ and for me wasn’t enough for a meal but I understood my mistake in choosing a wrong plate.

…aber nur fast. Aus Ständiger Vertretung wurde Rheinischer Hafen. Es hat etwas von Kölle aber nur etwas. Ja, es hat den Brauhaus-Charme mit Bestuhlung und den typischen Tischen. Die Gerichte sind soweit okay und Sion ist nicht meine erste Wahl aber man trinkt, was man bekommen kann. Womit ich mich einfach nicht anfreunden kann sin 0,3l-Gläser; sorry, die bekomme ich in Köln auch, aber niemals in einer typischen kölschen Gaststätte. Aber für ein FC Spiel in Hamburg war es die perfekte Location. Komme ich wieder? Ich denke schon.

Wir hatten eine bestätigte Tischreservierung für 14 Personen für ein Weihnachtsessen. Die Lage des/der Tische im Restaurant wurde Monate im Vorwege besprochen. Beim Erscheinen wurde Knall auf Fall die Tischreservierung bez. der Lage verändert. Es wurde mit 20 statt mit 14 Personen gerechnet, die Reservierung somit nicht fehlerfrei durchgesteuert. Die Speisequalität war o.k., die Bestellungen aber leider nicht zeitgerecht an den Tisch gebracht. Das Restaurent rappelvoll, sehr laut ... das Personal war bemüht mit der "Fülle" fertig zu werden.

It's always nice and friendly there, and you can quickly get into conversation with other guests if you're not so shy. The employees and the owners are always open to a nice conversation, I'm often there when I pick up my wife from work because we then meet there for a coffee or two 😊🥰 a little togetherness 😉😇 I can also heartily recommend the daily changing menu. The best seller is the huge one Currywurst fries or a nice, tasty salad, no matter which one, they all taste very good 👍 👌 Kind regards to them entire workforce.

I had a spontaneous meal there with my girlfriend on Saturday evening and it was very good. I had the chicken cordon bleu and it was very tasty, perhaps there could have been a little more sauce. The atmosphere was very pleasant and our drinks and food arrived quickly.

I had dinner there with my friend. We got a table without a reservation. The service was very good and the waiters were all very friendly. Since I'm a vegetarian, there wasn't a huge selection for me. The only option: a baked potato with a vegetable plate (hence only 3 out of 5 stars for the food). But the dish itself was really tasty and came quickly. My friend also thought the cordon bleu was really tasty and the croquettes were simply excellent. For dessert we had the chocolate ice cream sundae and the Viennese apple strudel. Both were also very tasty. The price was also very fair for an inn of this type. Overall: very tasty, fair prices, friendly staff, BUT not enough vegetarian selection (one dish isn't enough!!)

Das Ambiente war wie immer schön. Allerdings war das Abendessen enttäuschend. Der Matjes war sehr salzig, die Soße mit Äpfeln und Zwiebeln zu dünn und die Pellkartoffeln trocken. Das Wildschweinrückensteak auf Kürbispuree war durchgegart mit wenig Püree und zwei trockenen Karottenstreifen. Da wir das nicht aufessen konnten, sind wir danach noch in ein anderes Restaurant eingekehrt.

At 10 p.m. we couldn't order dessert anymore... It's a shame. Didn't expect something like that on a Friday evening in Hamburg.
