Rheinischer Hafen in Hamburg

A well-attended restaurant on the Hamburg Fleet Islands. The food is delicious, but unfortunately the prices are relatively high.

We were very excited about the restaurant! Super organized even though it was completely overcrowded. We got the tickets and our food straight away and the food was really excellent. Can only be highly recommended!

Kölsch is not my first GoTo beer, but the 0.2 concept with subsequent delivery without an explicit order is somehow pleasant and yet also tasty 😉. Kale, knuckle, sauerbraten, schnitzel - everything perfect, plentiful and tasty and also reasonably priced. Service very friendly, funny and attentive. Since I was also invited - nice😇

I can't even bring a currywurst to the table within 30 minutes. The lunch break was over 😢

It's always nice and friendly there, and you can quickly get into conversation with other guests if you're not so shy. The employees and the owners are always open to a nice conversation, I'm often there when I pick up my wife from work because we then meet there for a coffee or two 😊🥰 a little togetherness 😉😇 I can also heartily recommend the daily changing menu. The best seller is the huge one Currywurst fries or a nice, tasty salad, no matter which one, they all taste very good 👍 👌 Kind regards to them entire workforce.

I had a spontaneous meal there with my girlfriend on Saturday evening and it was very good. I had the chicken cordon bleu and it was very tasty, perhaps there could have been a little more sauce. The atmosphere was very pleasant and our drinks and food arrived quickly.

I had dinner there with my friend. We got a table without a reservation. The service was very good and the waiters were all very friendly. Since I'm a vegetarian, there wasn't a huge selection for me. The only option: a baked potato with a vegetable plate (hence only 3 out of 5 stars for the food). But the dish itself was really tasty and came quickly. My friend also thought the cordon bleu was really tasty and the croquettes were simply excellent. For dessert we had the chocolate ice cream sundae and the Viennese apple strudel. Both were also very tasty. The price was also very fair for an inn of this type. Overall: very tasty, fair prices, friendly staff, BUT not enough vegetarian selection (one dish isn't enough!!)

Das Ambiente war wie immer schön. Allerdings war das Abendessen enttäuschend. Der Matjes war sehr salzig, die Soße mit Äpfeln und Zwiebeln zu dünn und die Pellkartoffeln trocken. Das Wildschweinrückensteak auf Kürbispuree war durchgegart mit wenig Püree und zwei trockenen Karottenstreifen. Da wir das nicht aufessen konnten, sind wir danach noch in ein anderes Restaurant eingekehrt.

Were here for the first time yesterday. Food delicious! Service very poor, not very attentive, was kicked out at 10.30pm even though opening hours are until 11pm. At 10 p.m. we couldn't order dessert anymore... It's a shame. Didn't expect something like that on a Friday evening in Hamburg. As the icing on the cake, there was a mouse running around the restaurant...

A great restaurant with fair prices and very tasty food in the middle of Hamburg. The service is first class. Despite a full house (every seat is occupied), the team has an eye on all guests and no one has to wait long.

Hospitable and delicious. One of the most beautiful and largest terraces in downtown Hamburg. Right in the middle and yet very quiet. Había una serie de bares restaurantes justo cerca de nuestro hotel y una vez que abrieron los comensales se agolparon en la plaza. Rheinischer Hafen parecía muy popular, así que entramos en un restaurante muy grande, ruidoso y alegre con asientos dentro y fuera, arriba y abajo. Rápidamente nos sentamos dentro y pedimos nuestra idea de comida típica local que incluía sopa de patata y crutones, schnitzel de ternera con patatas fritas, filete marinado, col roja y albóndigas de patata junto con un poco de vino Riesling y Gruner Veltliner para complementar la muy buena comida. Las raciones fueron generosas, así como la amabilidad del personal. Fue una experiencia muy agradable y los precios eran razonables.

It is a restaurant that I simply have to recommend. The staff is professional and nice. Dad's food and drinks were wonderful. The place just lets people enjoy the evening and the pleasant wind.

We waren net in Hamburg aangekomen, hadden honger en geen zin om lang rond te lopen. Er zaten wat mensen op het terras en daarom besloten om er te gaan eten. Het was eenvoudig (schnitzel) maar goed.

Iryna is simply the best waitress. She always makes you drunk because she asks so often if you order more, I think it would be great if she did that on Instagram too. Loading is great but Iryna is just an 18/10

I'm here every now and then. Everything as expected. No disappointments, but no outstanding highlights either. Which isn't a bad thing. Always a good place to meet up with friends.

After 15 minutes and asking the waiter twice, I still couldn't place an order and left while the waiter scrolled on his cell phone or greeted his friends

We visited this restaurant during the UEFA championship - this was perhaps a mistake. Only a few (3 or 4?) waiters for dozens of tables inside and outside and very little action from the kitchen. We waited 90 minutes for our food - which tasted okay but was nothing special. However, our waiter was outstanding, not harassed and apologetically explained the problem - the 'system was down.' Why the restaurant has so many tables and so few staff, seems a mystery.

The food is very good and can be designed flexibly. The service is friendly and helpful. The location is very pleasant, especially if you can sit outside, as is currently the case.

I was hoping for more, there are better schnitzels in Hamburg.

The food was good. The service, however, leaves a lot to be desired. Our waitress was either having a very bad day or didn't feel like working. She was very unfriendly and snippy.

Definitely recommended for the enjoyment of the Rhenish way of life! With the new Kölsch when the glass is empty it doesn't really work, but the food was very tasty: portion of asparagus was perfectly prepared, it couldn't be better!

Highly recommended during your visit to Hamburg, very good snitzels. Perfect and very friendly service. Despite the terrace being completely full, we were served very quickly and smoothly.

Very nicely located restaurant with an outdoor area. (Formerly StäV) We were here on the harbor birthday to switch off and refresh. The food is very tasty and really recommended, fair prices. Service attentive. What I complain about (unfortunately) is that the Kölsch is not automatically delivered - as is usual in the Rhineland and noted on a board in the dining room. Even though I even asked them to bring me a new one straight away. (0.2 quickly becomes empty). You still need to practice a bit, please! Therefore only 4 stars. Otherwise the service was really nice and attentive. Recommendation!

During a week in Hamburg I was here several times. The service was always attentive, friendly and quick. The food and the Kölsch were delicious. A beautiful piece of Cologne in the far north. Super.

It was okay, both the burger and the apple strudel were too small and not seasoned enough for the price in my opinion. The chairs outside are extremely uncomfortable on both the seat and the back. Otherwise it was nice :)

A little old, but that's part of the charm. Food is very good and tasty. Service is very friendly and attentive.

The food is ok, but that doesn't help if it doesn't come. Inattentive service, asked 3 times, they first forgot the food and then still didn't bring it. Drinks are also hard to come by. With the alternatives available, I will never have to go here again.

Our absolute favorite restaurant when we are in Hamburg. Everything is relaxed here. Everything is clean and we received attentive and friendly service. The food is very good. It's also nice to sit outside. Price/performance fits! Conclusion: Absolutely recommended!

A classic office worker's lunch

We were here on a Tuesday to simply drink a Kölsch at lunchtime. The shop was empty, only 2-3 other tables were occupied. The Kölsch was good so far, but what really bothers me is that, firstly, a new round simply arrives without asking (in an empty restaurant with at least 4 people in service, I expect people to ask). It cannot be assumed that the notice above the door that if you don't put a beer mat on the glass, a new one will automatically come, will be read. When taking the order, you should simply point this out and not try to find the fault with the guest. And secondly, and this is the real NO GO, the shop was just dingy. In the service corner, in the middle of the restaurant, at the stairs to the toilet, everything was full of crumbs and grease stains on the wall, and the shop had only just opened. An employee then started preparing something to eat without removing the obviously old dirt first. We and other guests also saw a mouse running around in the store. When this was brought to the attention of the service, they just shrugged and laughed. The kitchen door was open the whole time, a welcome invitation for mice. I realize that it is likely that uninvited guests will find their way in right next to the water, but there doesn't seem to be a pest policy here or the employees don't know anything about it. People also prefer to stand around and chat rather than take advantage of the low visitor density and simply pick up a rag. Quite apart from the fact that the vegetarian/vegan selection here is very poor, I will definitely never eat here and cannot recommend it.

Das Restaurant hat ein tolles Ambiente und das Essen war sehr lecker. Wir kommen hier häufiger in der Mittagspause hin. Es gibt eine tolle Auswahl an Gerichten wo wirklich jeder etwas findet. Im Sommer kann man schön draußen sitzen.

Location in brewery style. It was very well filled and the food and drink selection was very good. Friendly staff. However, very loud. Conversations are not that easy.

Great restaurant with Rhenish flair. The food is always good and sufficient without exception. I can highly recommend the “Bundesdeutsche Currywurst” and the “quick plate”. Unfortunately, it is sometimes unnecessarily loud because the employees throw the cutlery one by one into the boxes when polishing is done again. That would be really quieter and just annoying. Unfortunately, such things can no longer be said openly in today's world.

Lecker Kölsch, gutes und auch sehr weitreichendes Essensangebot: rheinische Klassiker wie Himmel un Äd neben Black Angus Burger oder Wiener Schitzel und Apfelstrudel oder Flammkuchen oder, oder. Wir hatten den Sauerbraten und Himmel un Äd. Beide Gerichte waren sehr lecker und die Portionen nicht zu groß. Das Ambiente war für einen Donnerstagabend wie erwartet bei vollem Haus entspannt.
