In the middle of the holiday season, at 1 p.m., the place was packed, and there was exactly one condition that was on rotation. We left after 10 minutes because we hadn't even received a menu.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ By far the best way to end an evening in Meppen! The drinks are excellent – ​​creatively mixed and delicious. The service is super warm and attentive. A truly lovely atmosphere to relax in. A definite 5 stars!

Unfortunately only 2 stars can be given and only for the serving staff, who were courteous. Otherwise, I have never experienced anything like this before. I ordered a salad from the menu, without cheese but with onions and yogurt dressing. Came as shown on the menu, with cheese. It was so late that my companions had already finished their food. Complaining about the wrong salad can happen. I was promised that I would prepare it again and quickly. What came very late again was the same salad, cheese tried to be fumbled down and yoghurt was poured over the vinegar-oil dressing. This was then complained about with some displeasure to the boss who happened to be passing by. A lot of blah blah blah and I'm sorry, after another fifteen minutes then salad attempt number 3. Finally they've done it, my thought and also that of my companions. But what can I say... In a salad at a lower level, not even containing cucumber or tomatoes, pure discount product, which was praised as a fresh tuna salad, there is rancid meat with pea and carrot residues attached. Called the boss again to refuse to pay for something like that. Our first and definitely last visit to the store under new management. Under the old management, it was THE place to eat really good tiled meat and fried potatoes.

An old, well-preserved building. The actual town hall is further away. The town hall cellar offers plenty of space outside. Dining is also available indoors. The food was delicious. The service is very attentive.

I've never written a review before but I just have to get it out of my mind. Yesterday at lunchtime I wanted to eat something with my son in the Resto Bar and they said that everything upstairs was full. Maybe just outside, everything was free, ok. Thinking outside with my son, 12 degrees with no wind, we sit outside. My son let us know inside and the answer was no, we don't have time. Sorry, but I've never heard that before. Then we went somewhere else to eat. It was wonderful and they had time

It's easy to sit here because it's right in the middle of the city center in front of/in the historic town hall. Prices are okay and the employees have always been very nice. I haven't eaten here yet, but it looked good on the plates at the neighboring tables.

We ate very well here and were completely full. We sat outside with a great view of the pedestrian zone. Food and drinks are available here at fair prices.

Super delicious, really tasty food!

Nice location in the middle of the town. You enter through a kind of basement and take the stairs to the 1st floor for the restaurant area. Little choice for lunch and dinner. We ordered lunch. The flammkuchen was very tasty! Ofenkartoffel also fine, add plenty of dip. In short, great for lunch, but don't expect an extensive menu.

Nice restaurant with large terrace in the German town of Meppen. The staff are friendly and attentive. It is also nice that you can pay by card here. That is not possible everywhere in Germany, but it is here!

Mooi gesitueerd midden op het plein. De gepofte aardappel met pulled pork was wat over prijst.

Sehr leckeres Essen, welches sich auch mal vom Einheitsbrei abhebt. Aug die Getränke sind vielfältig. Dazu in einer top Lage.

Kuchen in Ordnung, Service ok, Kundenzufriedenheit niedrig. Bitte aufpassen: Gültige Gutscheine werden von dieser Gastronomie nicht angenommen! Vor der Bezahlung haben wir einen gültigen Gutschein der Restobar abgegeben, uns wurde mitgeteilt das dieser nach der Bestellung nicht mehr angenommen werden kann, da das Essen bereits in der Kasse verbucht ist und das Finanzamt eine Stornierung des Kuchens nicht gutheißen würde. Dieses Argument ist leider nicht glaubhaft, da unser Tisch ja noch „offen“ und garnicht abgerechnet war, und der Restobar ja als Beleg auch der Gutschein vorliegt. Wir wurden auch unfreundlich darauf hingewiesen, der Gutschein hätte bei Bestellung schon abgegeben werden müssen. Gerne hätten wir auch noch einige Getränke bestellt, aber die Kellner waren leider wenig aufmerksam, was wir auch an den Nebentischen bemerkten. Schade, so werden wir die Restobar als Meppener in schlechter Erinnerung behalten und zukünftig dort nicht mehr Speisen!

Sehr gutes Essen mit feiner Auswahl und auch besondere Getränke im Angebot. Umfangreiche Cocktailkarte und äußerst freundliches Personal. Und all das in super schönem Ambiente! Wir kommen wieder. PS: Auch das Frühstück war super gut!

Ein schönes Ambiente, nette Atmosphäre und freundliche Bedienung. Wir haben dort gefrühstückt und es war alles super hergerichtet, leckere, große Brötchen von einer kleinen Bäckerei aus Meppen. Der Clou, das Frühstück kann man sich selbst, anhand einer Liste zusammenstellen, so bekommt jeder was er wirklich mag und es wird kaum Essen entsorgt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall weiterhin die Resto-Bar aufsuchen.

Freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service. Dazu eine recht umfangreiche Getränkeauswahl. Biertipp: das gestachelte Bier, welches ein echter Genuss und Hingucker ist! Das alles in einer schönen, historischen Kulisse.
