Restauration in Remscheid

The pizza was too soft in the middle and too dry on the outside. For the high price it was also poorly occupied. The drink prices are a bit too expensive. The service was friendly. However, there were long waiting times, even with 50 percent occupancy.

We've been here three times already, mostly we walk from Haddenbach towards Diepmannsbach, it's just beautiful there, it always reminds me of my youth. Food, service we have always been satisfied. Just a nice, quiet spot in the middle of Remscheid :)

Very chic restaurant. The food tastes really good and you can tell that there are experienced staff working in the kitchen and that they approach their work with heart. Very nice and courteous owners, thank you again for the lovely evening. Even when the weather was nice, we had the great opportunity to enjoy our drinks in the garden. We will definitely come back.

The furnishings are good, the service is very nice. Unfortunately the food wasn't, the pizza was way too cross and had little taste. The noodle consistency was questionable and no taste.

The food was delicious, but unfortunately the only point I have to deduct is for the service. But that was because it felt like there was only one waitress. She was very friendly. But she was stressed.

We were at the hunting lodge today with a large group and felt very comfortable. The food was delicious and the service was very accommodating! The rooms are furnished with great attention to detail and are very hygienic. It certainly wasn't the last visit for us!

We experienced our large family celebration in the romantic Art Nouveau hunting lodge. It seemed to us like a journey back in time to a summer resort of happy childhood days... From the great personal advice in advance to the absolutely successful execution, we and our guests were really completely satisfied. The committed young team was always there to help us unobtrusively, individual requests were easily fulfilled, and the menu was plentiful and very tasty! We will have fond memories of our celebration! Thank you again and all the best for your special restaurant!

Super happy with the delivery service. I was shocked at the price at first, but wanted to try the pizza. And was absolutely positively surprised. Size and quality were super good. Very lovingly prepared despite delivery. Delivery was very quick within Lennep. Very satisfied, gladly again.

Great ambience including a fireplace on a cool autumn evening. Stopped in for a spontaneous meal with friends. Nice service, great, very tasty pizza. Everything was fine. We'd love to come back.

Very nice service and an idyllic location! The building still has a lot of potential for improvement! Otherwise the food was edible (but not tasty), toilets were dirty including the doors... Conclusion: “OK” for mini golf and after hikes It's a shame, our expectations were probably too high

We played mini golf in the Diepmannbachtal when we were children and it fills us with great joy that this traditional place in Remscheid has been brought back to life. It's great what the operators have created here. We were particularly impressed by the warm hospitality, the inviting ambience and the delicious food. Our unreserved recommendation!

That such a gem still exists! We ate and drank deliciously! Our regulars' table group was definitely not there for the last time!

We went there today with our children to eat pizza and play mini golf, not forgetting that we were also with the chickens ☺️ the children felt very comfortable, the service was a 10/10, very child-friendly and nice, the atmosphere is very inviting and cozy. The pizzas taste great, the employees are very friendly, very helpful and very accommodating! The ambience of the interior exudes something special from old times, the outdoor area with the mini golf course is simply great! The visit is worth it in every respect and we will definitely come here again and again from Wuppertal!

We were very happy when we recently found out that the beautiful hunting lodge in the Diepmannsbachtal is once again a restaurant. Today my husband and I played mini golf in wonderful weather and were then able to enjoy a delicious pizza and salad outside under the beautiful awning. The staff is very friendly. We would love to come back! Thank you for being there ❤️

We have been here several times since the restaurant opened. The pizzas taste excellent and the owners and service staff are always very friendly and try to respond to the guests' wishes. Today we tried the classic breakfast, very tasty with eggs from “Jagschloß’s own” chickens. It couldn't be more regional :-) The mini golf course, which is also available, invites young and old to enjoy a subsequent round of mini golf. We will definitely come more often!

There were three of us and we were happy that the hunting lodge was busy again. So we drove to Diepmannsbachtal full of anticipation and took a seat on the beautiful terrace. We sat there for half an hour. The waitress walked past us several times. No greeting, no order was taken. The terrace wasn't even half full. The waitress took the order for a table and disappeared for minutes until she came back with a full tray. During that time you could have easily served another table instead of waiting inside for the drinks. And even if the waitress is alone, I expect at least a greeting and a brief note that you are about to be served. After thirty minutes we got up again disappointed and drove to another restaurant. A pity!

Great, old restaurant. Lovingly restored. With a small menu. Very tasty, huge pizza and salad. Cold and hot drinks. Either inside in the taproom or outside in the beer garden next to the mini golf course. This is getting old, but you can have fun playing the game. We'd love to come back.

I'm completely satisfied. The hunting lodge has been wonderfully restored. In the outdoor area there are rustic benches and tables with a roof; very inviting to linger. An ideal destination for walkers and hikers. In a quiet location and surrounded by nature.

When opening a new restaurant you should be a little more lenient, but unfortunately I fear that this restaurant won't last long. A pity. Very uncomfortably arranged tables, musty smell, very dark, toilet smell, no decorations on the table except a tea light, which you had to light yourself, drinks are served from plastic bottles, candlesticks without candles, cables hanging out of the wall, the menu is very clear, none Pasta dishes, incorrectly formatted, no euro symbols on the prices, simple Word document, waiter nice and attentive but room for improvement, unfortunately the pizza was lukewarm to cold, but still tasty. This should be completely reworked. Too bad, it won't work.

An unforgettable experience in the Diepmannsbach hunting lodge On May 12, 2024 we were very lucky to take part in the opening of the Diepmannsbach hunting lodge. As a group of six “young people” we were impressed from the start by the warm and familiar atmosphere. As soon as we arrived we felt like part of the large hunting lodge family. The leisure activities were an absolute hit - playing mini golf in the picturesque surroundings of the castle was particularly fun. Another highlight was the culinary offering: the homemade pizza, prepared by a real pizza maker from Venice, was simply heavenly. We were really impressed by the taste, the fresh ingredients and the skill of the pizza maker. Finally, there was the incomparable apple strudel, a true masterpiece that you can only enjoy here. We would like to thank the team at the Diepmannsbach hunting lodge for this wonderful day. The combination of a hospitable welcome, excellent food and an idyllic location made our visit unforgettable. We will definitely be back and can't wait to see what the future holds for this enchanting castle.

Rarely have I had such a delicious pizza! Nice ambience and great atmosphere. The hunting lodge is worth a trip.

How nice that the Wild family has brought the old hunting lodge in Diepmannsbach back to life after so many years and that day trippers are once again offered a beautiful “rest stop” including a nostalgic journey through time in the middle of nature. Who doesn't have a story to tell?! The menu is currently quite clear... 7 pizzas, salad, cakes and on Sunday there is a small breakfast offer. We tried the pizza. The Rheinische Post reported on Neapolitan pizza, but the classic Roman pizza was served. Maybe a misunderstanding or no suitable pizza maker has been found yet?! Unfortunately I didn't ask. Our pizzas were definitely well topped, the base was nice and thin and well baked in the middle. For us, the tomato sauce could have used a little more seasoning. But okay, you are at the very beginning and it is very positive to note that you are very interested in honest feedback. I drank a solid Pinot Gris without a designation of origin, 0.15 l for a sporty €6. For me, the new-fangled serving size suits fine dining better, but not pizza. Very friendly and open-minded service...the owner's son and a young man who clearly enjoys his job. And now dear Remscheiders…..head to Diepmannsbach and enjoy the pizza. Anyone who knows the restaurant from the past will certainly be pleasantly surprised. Sure, there's still something to do here and there, but after all, Rome wasn't built in a day and, in my opinion, you're never finished with a property like this. This takes a lot of passion! 4 stars + 1 nostalgia star = 5 stars!

Beautiful old hunting lodge. You could go out to eat there. As far as I know, an apartment has now been made out of there. But you can still play mini golf.
