Delicious dishes, coffee and cake, top.

After visiting the Röntgen Museum, I happened upon this restaurant and decided to stop in. The food was really delicious for a reasonable price, and they offer a special type of beer (König Preussen Pils).

Great place to stop with seating outside. Ideal for a break after a bike ride. The Hawaiian toast was solid. The service was good. Payment is accepted by credit card/Apple Pay. We'd be happy to come back.

Was there with my wife! The cordon bleu was super delicious. 👍 And freshly made. 😋

From schnitzel to waffles, everything in a good atmosphere, always delicious :)

I've been visiting this restaurant regularly for three years. In the end, it's always a gamble as to what's in stock and what isn't. The atmosphere is nice, the staff friendly and good, the food delicious (when it's there). Quite often, I've found myself with the door closed because of a private party, and I don't know how many times I've heard: we're not having it today, the kitchen isn't hot today, or the kitchen doesn't open until ... o'clock. First, no card payments, then card payments with a tip, then without a tip, now only starting at €15. But you only find out about that when you read the menu. When you order from the cake counter with a coffee, you don't find out about it... All in all, when available, it's tasty and good. But ultimately, it's simply unreliable for walk-ins.

I ordered the Bergische Kaffeetafel for 4 people at relatively short notice. It was pointed out to me that it was already on There would be a lot of reservations for the Bergische Kaffeetafel on Saturday afternoon and it would take some time, but it would still be possible. It was really busy, but our table was reserved and beautifully set and the waiting time was quite short. Then the coffee table came and it was exactly the same as I have known for decades, but which I have only gotten elsewhere in a slimmed-down form, but at a fairly high price. Simply great and really, as they say in Bergisch, “with all the bells and whistles”. My guests were very enthusiastic and will definitely come back to Lennep from outside. It's really worth it! Keep it up, word gets around!

I celebrated my 40th birthday there last week and ordered a Bergische coffee table for 20 people. Coordination in advance via email worked wonderfully. None of us knew this restaurant - since we don't come from the area - but we were all very pleasantly surprised. Waffles, rice pudding, cherries and cold cuts, all very tasty. There was a fixed price for the coffee table, the prices for additional drinks were completely reasonable. And the ambience is really nice. Furnished with love, bright, modern and with old decorative elements.

Nicely located in the old town of Lennep, but the breakfast didn't blow our minds... -The raisin mare was probably a little older, i.e. very dry - Plum jam had a very firm consistency and tasted a bit bland -You don't expect baked rolls for the price -Service was friendly - the dosage form on the cake stands was pretty Unfortunately for us it won't be a repeat case.

We ordered a Bergische coffee table for four people. After a charming introduction, we enjoyed the diverse products. Everything was very good. Everything was right and I can definitely recommend it all.

I invited a guest from out of town for a traditional Bergisch coffee. Everything was fresh, delicious, and plentiful.

A pleasant, home-style restaurant with hearty, down-to-earth dishes. Bavarian beer (Mittenwalder) is served on tap. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

Nice coffee restaurant. Were there for breakfast. It was just good. Located directly on the market square in Lennep's old town. Only parking is a little difficult. But coffee can't do that.

Delicious food and friendly service.

Very nice and beautifully located in the middle of Lennep's old town. Service is very friendly. Delicious cakes and down-to-earth food with a small menu. The only drawback is that if you advertise “breakfast around the clock”, then you have to have bread rolls in stock. Unfortunately, it has happened to us several times now that they were out at 1 p.m. As an idea, freeze and bake? The women's toilet is really well designed, with a really great changing area and attention to detail, big praise for that. The toilet cubicles are difficult because they are extremely narrow. I would improve that! It's possible, the space is there. But! It's super clean!

We would not have expected to find a rich cake counter in this location. Good cappuccino prepared with love. The walnut caramel cake was to die for.

Cozy like in the living room, lovingly furnished. My small order was also served in a friendly and quick manner. There is a large selection for breakfast, down-to-earth cuisine, delicious cakes - if you would like to try the famous Bergische Kaffeetafel, you can do so by pre-ordering. Pilgrims on the Way of St. James receive a stamp here.

Very tasty breakfast in the middle of the old town

Breakfast at the old market in Lennep with the family. The location is ideal for a breakfast in the sun. The service is attentive, quick and warm. The pot of coffee comes from a high-quality coffee machine and tastes like it. The rolls were fresh from the bakery. There is a star deduction for the side dishes. That could be better, but overall the price-performance ratio is right.

We recently took a break and ate cake in the "King of Prussia" during a hike through the snow-covered Bergisches Land. I was also delighted to discover that there was Mittenwalder on tap. :-) The staff was very accommodating and friendly, the food and drink was delicious and the atmosphere was also very nice. We'd love to come by again. In addition, the owner recently (over)fulfilled a special wish of mine in a completely uncomplicated manner. There was great joy about it. Thank you for that! :-)

Aufgrund einer Weihnachtsshow nach langer Zeit mal wieder da gewesen. Ich bin total begeistert. Die Show wie erwartet top. Superleckeres Cordon Bleu mit Mettwurst gefüllt. Knusprige Bratkartoffeln. Leckeres Pils dazu. Ein Espresso der den Namen verdient als Nachtisch. Meine Frau fand die Käsespätzle ausgezeichnet.Trotz Hochbetrieb freundliches und professionelles Personal. Hierhin gehe ich sehr gerne wieder.

Waren gestern zum Schnitzel essen dort. Hat uns hervorragend geschmeckt. Der Preis war dafür sehr angemessen. Sehr nettes Personal. Ein tolles Lokal in einem tollen Lennep . Kommen auf jedenfall wieder.

Nette Bedienung und süßes Ambiente aber das Essen nur akzeptabel. Pommes haben nur nach dem Frittierfett geschmeckt und die Curry Wurst zu leicht gebraten. Bratkartoffeln geschmacklich gut aber auch nicht genug angebraten. Lange Wartezeiten zu Beginn aber nach Bestellung sehr schnell. Insgesamt eine nicht enttäuschende aber auch keine begeisternde Erfahrung. Der Kuchen ist wahrscheinlich besser, jedenfalls optisch.

Fast 10 Euro wurde uns zu viel abgehalten. - Nach der Klärung gab es keine Entschuldigung. Freundlichkeit ist dort leider ein Fremdwort.

Ein schöner Ort, an dem man verweilen und die Zeit vergessen kann. Wir kommen sehr gerne zum späten Frühstück und jedes Mal fühlt es sich wie ein Moment Kurzurlaub an. Perfekt um kreativen Gedanken freien Lauf zu lassen. Vorallem im Sommer, draußen. 🌷🌺☀️

Wir waren schon mehrfach hier zum Frühstück und alles war perfekt, aber bei unserem letzten Besuch zum Frühstück gab es leider nur Aufbackbrötchen, wie man sie vom Discounter kennt. Der Service topp, der Kaffee topp, das Frühstück, abgesehen von den Brötchen auch topp, aber solche "Brötchen" würde ich nicht einmal zu Hause essen.

Sehr liebevoll umgesetztes Café. Wir haben es durch Zufall auf der Radtour entdeckt. SpargelPfannkuchen lecker, der Kuchen war herausragend. Service super freundlich. #WirKommenWieder

Toll gelegen, mit Blick auf Kirche und Altstadt. Personal sehr freundlich. Essenstechnisch sind hier Schnitzel und Pfannkuchen Fans gut aufgehoben. Beides schmeckt in allen Varianten. Auch Kuchen und Waffeln gibt es. Preise sehr zivil, Leistung stimmt.

Sehr gemütlich mit schönem Blick auf die Altstadt, leider kein freies WLAN vorhanden ( bei meiner Suche nach freiem WLAN stand: König von Preußen free), auf Nachfrage konnte nicht beantwortet werden, warum kein freies WLAN und ob und wann wieder vorhanden, Schade 😕

Leckeres Kaffeetrinken mit tollen Torten und gutem Service

Freunde hatten das bergische Frühstück - sah sehr gut aus und schmeckte ihnen. Ich als Frühstücksmuffel hatte nur Milchkaffee, was überhaupt kein Problem war.Bedienung nett und flott, wir sassen sehr schön draußen und konnten „Leute gucken“!

Wir waren zur bergischen Kaffeetafel, wir haben spontan angerufen und konnten schon 1 Stunde später spontan vorbei kommen. Wir haben sehr lecker gegessen und trotz dass wir mit 2 kleinen Kindern da waren waren wir absolut willkommen und sowohl die Besitzer als auch das Service Personal waren absolut kinderlieb und haben Späße mit den kleinen gemacht. Als wir dann allerdings auch noch gesehen haben wie gut sie dort für Kinder und Babys eingerichtet sind waren wir absolut begeistert. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder hingehen.

Man sollte nicht nur Kaffee trinken, sondern sich auch mal ein Preußen-Pils gönnen.
