We received a very friendly welcome and were served very kindly. The antipasti de la casa were delicious. The pizza was disappointing, and the shandy tasted like it had been made with water instead of fizzy drink powder. My husband's spaghetti was good. I would go there again, but I wouldn't order pizza again.

The best Italian restaurant in Westerstede. Everything was perfect...the ambiance...the food and the service. You can also sit outside when the weather is nice. It's best to make a reservation in advance, though...otherwise, it looks bad. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely stop by. Thanks for the delicious food. Everything was top-notch.👍

We ate there with the family [6 adults and 1 baby]. The staff and the chef were very friendly. The food was fantastic. I haven't had such good pasta with salmon in a long time. The pizzas and lasagna were also very popular. We'll definitely be back.

I'm a little torn. The pizza here is okay, the base and sauce were good. In a tonno pizza, they unfortunately skimped on the tuna, but they were very generous with the onions, which unfortunately dominated the entire flavor. But it was okay so far. Unfortunately, the Bolognese was a complete failure. The carrot cubes were cut much too large. That had nothing to do with soffritto. Overall, the sauce was far too salty and tomato-heavy. My colleague had spaghetti carbonara. This had nothing to do with carbonara; it was a creamy mush. Nothing with pancetta, guanciale, or peccorino. I couldn't taste any pepper either. The staff, however, was positive. Requests for things like the Bolognese with tagliatelle were accommodated without any problems. The service was otherwise very attentive. Friends had a different pasta dish, which tasted okay. However, I am disappointed that the classic Italian dishes were absolutely abysmal here.

The food deserves a star. Unfortunately, the service was anything but excellent. Everything was just rushed, and we didn't feel welcome, more like we were just being fobbed off. After asking if they also served a nightcap at the end, since the tables around us were also getting one, we were just told off that there was nothing on the house and that the nightcap had to be paid for, just like in any other restaurant. I don't see it that way, but they should know for themselves. Even though the food was delicious, it was clearly a minus point in terms of hospitality.

Man findet ein typisches italienisches Restaurant vor. Die Bedienung war freundlich, aber aufgrund der Vielzahl an Gästen und dem aktuellen Personalstand ziemlich unter Stress. Die Speisen waren teilweise anders zubereitet als wir es kannten (z.B. Bruschetta), aber alles hat geschmeckt.

Yes and no. The food was really good, but the way we were greeted was terrible. We were hungry and had our dogs with us on our way to vacation. The lady at the reception was incredibly annoyed, just because we asked very politely if we could eat outside because of the dogs, since we could have brought them outside ourselves. The feeling that we weren't welcome persisted the entire time. As I said, the food was good.

The food is typically Italian: thin-crust pizza with cheese on the bottom and high-quality ingredients. The service is very friendly and attentive, and you feel very well looked after! Prices are reasonable. The food and service are full marks. Since I'm not a fan of white walls, I'll only give it 3 stars for the ambiance – but there's a stylish pizza oven right in the middle of the dining room! I'd love to come back ;-)

Het pizzabroodje als voorgerecht bleek een complete pizza, zonder beleg te zijn. Toen zaten we al bijna vol. De pizza diabolo was heerlijk. Je kunt hier voor weinig geld lekker eten.

Yes! We went there for dinner with a small group! Friendly service, drinks were served without a long wait. The food was very tasty based on special requests was responded courteously. Personally, I would have liked to have had more on my plate, but I'm also a hungry guy. Even when we were the last guests, no one was rude. Gladly again

There's a real Italian pizza here, not the usual cheesecake from the kebab shop around the corner. The pasta dishes are also great. The staff is always very friendly and you don't have to wait long. Parking options directly at the house or within walking distance. Recommendation: Pizza Pane Bruschetta as a starter for two and Tagliatelle Marcello as a main course.

I've been to this pizzeria twice now and have been completely satisfied every time! The food is simply fantastic - the pizza is crispy, the ingredients are fresh, and everything tastes really delicious. The prices are absolutely fair and make the visit even more pleasant. I would particularly like to praise the friendly and attentive staff, who always make sure you feel comfortable. Everything is perfect here: great food, good prices and great service. A clear recommendation for me - and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

It's nice to sit outside under the trees...I visited this pizzeria because of the relatively good reviews. I ordered a Della Casa salad. The waitress asked what dressing? I got yogurt dressing with mayo, that's not possible! The salad tasted like nothing and was carelessly prepared. The service was very friendly, but that was it. No, I expected much more. Will not visit this pizzeria again...

Dinner at Leogrande was sensational! First of all, we like the rather simple atmosphere in the restaurant, which is not overloaded with decorations. Incredibly friendly service staff who serve the guests in a good mood and attentively without being intrusive. The boss works in service and always has an overview. There is outside catering which was well used that evening. We were there with friends who had their dog with them. No problem in the Leogrande. I chose the classic bruschetta as a starter and then the tagliatelle with prawns in saffron sauce. Delicious! Plus a Bardolino Rosé. I give a very clear recommendation. When I'm back in Ammerland, I'll be happy to come back.

The tortellini were warmed up and served lukewarm and were not freshly cooked. They were so dry that they stuck in my throat. It's really remarkable that such a meal is served to a guest at Leo Grande in exchange for money.

Alleine schon die Begrüßung erinnerte mich an viele Restaurants in Italien. Hier fühlt man sich als Gast. Kleine, aber feine Mittagskarte, sehr freundliche Bedienung und geschmeckt hat es auch, so wie nbei Mama.

A disaster in terms of taste. Baked pasta dish with a very thin, diluted, bland sauce. There wasn't really any cheese from the gratin. The pizza was very dry, sparsely topped and, like the pasta sauce, tasted very bland.

We really enjoyed our visit to the restaurant. Everything was at the highest level. The staff was friendly and allowed our one year old to run around the whole restaurant and promised to look after him. During our stay in the restaurant they kept coming up to us and asking if everything was okay. I recommend this restaurant as one of the best! Top top top!!! Without a reservation we were still able to stay there for 1 hour. Drink and eat. It was very tasty and tasted delicious, food and drink too and the price. Food & drink for 3 people was great. Pizzeria is 100% recommended..

We were invited. I could choose what I wanted to eat. Unfortunately the food was too spicy. It was taken back, but the new food had no taste. I had someone try it and said there was nothing wrong with it. I could have had salt and pepper, but I didn't want any more. Apparently everything was fine with the others. I have to say, we don't go out to eat often. It probably wasn't my day. Service was nice.

Despite capacity being fully booked, we were still able to get a table. The staff is very friendly and attentive. However, there is some room for improvement when it comes to food. I had a pizza that was ok, but could definitely be better. The dough is very good, but unfortunately the tomato base was very crumbly and the mushrooms seemed to have been pickled...probably from a can. The pasta from my companion was rather bland. They could have used tastier tomatoes. But everything was edible, but unfortunately only mediocre.

Meine Frau und ich waren Ende Dezember 2023 drei Tage in Westerstede, im empfehlenswerten Schokoladenhotel. Wunderbar waren die beiden Restaurants, in denen wir abends waren, das Diakopes und das Leogrande. Das Leogrande liegt direkt im kleinen Zentrum dieser sehr gepflegten Kleinstadt. Das Essen war sehr, sehr gut, und die Bedienungen sehr freundlich. Wir hatten zwei verschiedene Nudeln, einmal Tagliatelle mit Spinat und Gorgonzola-Tomatensauce und einmal Nudeln mit einer pikanten Auberginen-Tomatensauce, sowie Pannacotta und Tiramisu. Die Preise waren für die Qualität mehr als angemessen, und übrigens ist das gezapfte Bier sehr günstig für heutige Verhältnisse (0,5l für 4 EUR). Es gibt sogar Altbier aus der Flasche.

My wife and I spent three days in Westerstede at the end of December 2023, in the recommended chocolate hotel. The two restaurants we went to in the evening were wonderful, the Diakopes and the Leogrande. The Leogrande is located right in the small center of this very well-kept small town. The food was very, very good and the waitresses were very friendly. We had two different pastas, one tagliatelle with spinach and gorgonzola tomato sauce and one pasta with a spicy eggplant tomato sauce, as well as pannacotta and tiramisu. The prices were more than reasonable for the quality, and by the way, the draft beer is very cheap by today's standards (0.5l for 4 EUR). There's even Altbier from the bottle.

Es ist ein sehr schönes eingerichtetes Restaurant. Wir wurden nett empfangen und auch nett bedient. Der Restaurant war einladend und wir wurden schnell bedient. Das Essen war lecker und die Pizza wurde in einem Steinofen gebacken. Was nicht so toll war. Meine Pizza hatte nur 3 Scheiben Salami (finde ich etwas wenig) und es waren Dosen Pilze drauf.

Ich hatte hier einen sehr schönen Abend.

Bei meinen ersten Besuchen war das Essen super lecker und frisch. PREIS-Leistungs-Verhältnis war Top. Mittlerweile bin ich eher enttäuscht. "Dosen"champions gehören für mich nicht auf eine gute Pizza (leider bereits 2x erlebt) ... Schade, dass die Qualität so nachgelassen hat.... :-( Auch der Service hat nachgelassen, vorallem wenn der Chef nicht da ist!

Lecker essen, Mittags für 6,50€3 Jetzt kostet es 8,50 aber immer noch gut. Immer wenn wir zur Mittagszeit in Wst sind gehen wir ins Leogrande. Jetzt bei gutem Wetter draußen unterm Sonnenschirm. Super
