Restaurant Vossini in Westerstede

Our visit was unfortunately disappointing in many respects. The salads neither looked nor tasted freshly prepared, and the chicken had a distinct gas taste. The sea bass was so tough it was almost impossible to cut, and the sauces seemed more like ready-made products. However, the most irritating aspect was the staff's tone: although we didn't know them beforehand, they addressed us informally throughout, which was inappropriate and unfortunately lowered the overall standard of the establishment. All in all, it was a rather disappointing experience that we would not wish to repeat.

We celebrated my mother's 90th birthday there yesterday. We also had guests from Hesse. Everyone was delighted. It was such a lovely, peaceful atmosphere, and the à la carte food was absolutely delicious. Later, we had coffee and cake, some had ice cream, others hot chocolate… there was something for everyone. A huge thank you to the entire team. We felt very comfortable. My mother will remember this special day very fondly for this reason. Thank you so much!

Yesterday's quiz dinner was very good and beautifully presented, super delicious, excellent service and friendly staff, we would gladly come again.

We were here as guests of the Chocolate Hotel. The food and service are almost perfect. Reservations are definitely recommended on weekends.

As part of our stay at the Chocolate Hotel, we had dinner in the restaurant today. We had a four-course meal. The food was delicious and our service excellent! A compliment to the very friendly and competent server. At the next table, there was a rather "difficult" guest, in our opinion. He was able to handle this very well, too. The restaurant is highly recommended! 😋

In any case😋we booked the cuddle time at the chocolate hotte, which had a multi-course menu including the culinary delights. Then with the service, recommended at any time. The in-house schnapps are recommended, a bit expensive, just something special.

That was very good again! Cook & look menu 22.2.25. The menu itself was very unusual, the staff was really accommodating and extremely friendly. The request to make the starter vegetarian was addressed and we were offered an alternative. The atmosphere is very cozy & you feel welcome :) The food is on point & really tasty! We went to the Christmas buffet. The food was fantastic, nothing to complain about. The service was very attentive. The ambiance in the new restaurant was great; the tables were separated by curtains.

In March 2024 we had dinner in the restaurant. Nice atmosphere, quite attentive service. The taste of the food was relatively good, as was the price. That was a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

We ate here as a family. The food is very good and accurately prepared. Unfortunately the waiting time was immense (reserved at 12.30 and only left at 3.20) with starter, main course and dessert. 3 dishes were not served quite correctly. But readjusted. In general, the waiting time really bothered us. But the service was very friendly.

Wir kamen um 20:45 Uhr mit 5 Personen an und wollten noch eine Kleinigkeit essen. Obwohl mind. 3 verschiedene Kellnerinnen unterwegs waren, wurden wir 10 Minuten komplett ignoriert. Auf Nachfrage bekamen wir widerwillig die Speisekarte gebracht mit dem Hinweis dass es aufgrund der späten Zeit kein 3-Gänge-Menü mehr gibt. Danach wurden wir wieder nicht mehr beachtet. Nach 5 Minuten sind wir dann gegenüber ins Bistro M5 gegangen. Hier wurden wir sehr nett empfehlen und haben auch sehr lecker gegessen. Fazit: nie wieder Vossini - keine Empfehlung

We were guests on the outside terrace on a beautiful summer evening. The hotel is located directly on the market square. There are great drinks (wine, grappa and other drinks) and the waiter was very attentive and friendly.

But this is now taken into account everywhere. It gives the impression that different chefs are at work. Amuse-gueule could be left out. Simply serve great bread with various dips (including vegan ones). Main course with salmon from the smoker was great. The terrace outside doesn't seem particularly inviting. The awning is dingy, the furniture is outdated and these furs are terrible and outdated. Everything seems so gloomy 😞 It could definitely be better! A lot was invested, but the terrace, the eye-catcher on the market square, was forgotten. What a shame! It's also a shame that the hosts can't be seen. At least on the weekend that would be appropriate. So, top restaurant and top hotel with some drawbacks.

Last Wednesday we had dinner at Vossini with four adults and three children. We are totally thrilled, received a very friendly welcome and felt welcome the whole evening. The food was excellent and the menu selection was great. The children were able to choose their own dish from the children's menu. We are thrilled and will definitely come back. We didn't stay there, so I can't comment on the rooms.

Super nice, individual hotel, no run-of-the-mill frills. Nice spa and sauna area. Food in the restaurant is excellent. The 4 course menu is highly recommended. We'd love to come back!

Vossini Restaurant - An unforgettable experience We had the pleasure of visiting the Vossini Restaurant in Westerstede and loved it from start to finish. Our wishes were taken into account and we were seated at a beautifully decorated table. The food was simply delicious and the service was outstanding. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. We, my wife and I, had selected and reserved a table, which unfortunately was not available when we arrived at the restaurant because a tour group was expected. It can happen, but it's unpleasant if you want to celebrate your birthday. We almost left when Mr. Mangonon suggested an alternative table. We accepted his suggestion and it was a very nice evening. Mr. Mangono served us very friendly and attentively throughout the evening. The food and wine (thanks for the recommendation) were excellent. Apparently the chef meant very well for us. The starters were very tasty and the beef fillets were exactly how we wanted them. We have been to Vossini several times in the past and were very satisfied. This time, however, the Vossini has outdone itself. Keep it up.

We were at the asparagus buffet. As always, everything is simply delicious. This is always upscale gastronomy. And the service staff, as always, is just TOP.

Yes...... good middle-class family hotel run by the 3rd generation. Over the last 20 - 30 years it has increasingly developed into an international top hotel. Permanent future-oriented investments are evidence of a well-run hotel. The cuisine is very good and the fact that we have the first and only chocolate hotel here in Westerstede has now spread throughout Europe. It should also be mentioned that you always need a strong woman to pull along. Like Tanja and Bernd Voss and before that Erika and Claus Voss. Rating.....Highly recommended

wir hatten uns hier eine Tisch reserviert, weil wir das Restaurant schon einmal vor Jahren besucht hatten und sehr zufrieden waren. Nun betraten wir nach Jahren das Restaurant wieder, tolles Ambiente und sehr freundliches Personal im Restaurant. Wir wurden an unseren Tisch geführt, der gemütlich und ansprechend war. Nach der Aufnahme der Bestellung erhielten wir einen Gruß aus der Küche, Tomate an Dill auf einem Schmandbett, sehr lecker und alles frisch. Bestellt hatten wir uns Hirsch von nebenan aus Ostfriesland, rosa gebraten an getrüffelter Wildjus, geröstete Petersilienwurzel, Süßkartoffel Püree, die Personen die kein Süßkartoffel Püree wollten bekamen ihre gewünschten Beilagen, Drillinge und Kroketten. Das Essen, welches sehr schön angerichtet serviert wurde, fiel gleich ins Auge. Sehr feines Gemüse welches noch Biss hatte und ein super zartes Hirschfleisch. Die Speise war temperaturmäßig ohne Mangel. Wir werden hier garantiert nicht noch einmal so lange warten und bald wiederkommen. Vielen Dank an das Vossiniteam für ein sehr gelungenes Abendessen. ein Bild habe ich leider nicht gemacht, da es durch eine gemütliche Unterhaltung auf der Strecke geblieben war.

Went to the goose buffet, The starter (served at the table) was excellent, then came the disappointment, the buffet. It was a perfectly normal buffet with salad, roasts, fish, potatoes, fried potatoes, red cabbage, pasta, etc. etc. There was also goose, roasted whole. Unfortunately, the sauces were totally over-seasoned and the meat was quite dry... You can also find a buffet like this in a rest stop. We would also have liked more variations of the goose. After all, a goose buffet is advertised. It's a shame, because it also costs €43.50 per person (without drinks).

An einem Mittag kurz für einen Kaffee reingeschaut, aber auch was aus der Nachmittagskarte probiert. Das Essen ist sehr lecker gewesen. Für so ein schickes Ambiente habe ich höhere Preise erwartet, daher bin dem Preis-Leistung Verhältnis sehr positiv überrascht. Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Wir hatten einen super tollen dekorierten Tisch. Ein tolles und gemütliches Plätzchen im Restaurant. Wir haben im dazugehörigen Hotel ein Arrangement gebucht und hatten ein tolles Menü im Vossini. Die Servicekraft die uns bediente war auf zack, freundlich und konnte uns gut beraten. Wir haben lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Die Vorspeisen waren mein Highlight (der Hummus war ein Traum). Das Dessert war ok aber im Vergleich zu den anderen Speisen schon deutlich "einfacher". Wir vergeben volle Punktzahl und kommen gerne wieder.

Die Zimmer kann ich nicht beurteilen, wir waren nur zum Essen da. Das Steak war einsame Spitze...die Portionen sind gut und der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Preisniveau schon eher hoch aber gerechtfertigt. Von mir eine klare Empfehlung.

Das Hotel inklusive dem Restaurant Vossini und der Schokoladen Lounge bietet einen tollen Aufenthalt im Schokoladenhotel. Und eine Auswahl an Schokoladen in allen Formen und Farben die es so nicht häufig sieht. Weiter so.

Das Restaurant Vossini gehört zu der gehobenen Klasse, was sich im Ambiente, des super geschulten und durchweg freundlichen Personals, aber vor allem im Geschmack der Gerichte widerspiegelt.

Das Essen ist hervorragend! Wir hatten das 3-Gänge-Schokoladen-Menü. Das Essen entsprach genau unseren Vorstellungen. Sehr schönes Ambiente in der Innenstadt von Westerstede. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Service ganz gut, Essen war in Ordnung, für das Geld etwas mehr erwartet. War leider sehr laut und das Ambiente hat mir nicht sonderlich gefallen.

Wir waren aufgrund einer Familienfeier dort. Es gab ein Spargel Büfett, das war erstklassig. Der Service war super freundlich und zugewandt.

Habe im Febr. tel. einen Tisch für mich und meinen Mann zum Sonntagslunch reserviert und nebenbei gesagt, dass wir dann Hochzeitstag hätten. Als wir dann im April kamen gratulierte man uns schon beim Eintritt und führte uns an einen hübsch dekorierten Tisch. Auch dort wurden wir von der Bedienung beglückwünscht. Nach dem Lunch kredenzte man uns noch einen Schokoladenkuchen mit Wunderkerze und zum Abschluss bekamen wir noch eine Glückwunschkarte mit unserem Foto und einem liebevollen Spruch. Sooo ein toller Service, da werden wir noch ganz oft essen gehen.

Ich finde das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht gerechtfertigt. Wir haben mit Sicherheit gut gegessene aber für den Preis kann ich in anderen Restaurants genauso gut für einen anderen Preis essen. Erlebnisgastronomie sieht für mich anders aus.

Ein tolles Restaurant. Es ist an das Schokoladenhotel angeschlossen, kann aber auch von anderen Gästen besucht werden. Eine vorherige Reservierung ist empfehlenswert, da meistens ausgebucht. Sehr gute Karte mit hochwertigen Gerichten. Der Service ist ausgesprochen aufmerksam und freundlich. Es war ein toller Abend.
