Ein toller Imbiss! Die Mitarbeiterinnen sind sehr freundlich. Das Essen war schnell da und schmeckte vorzüglich. Die Portionen waren groß und das zu einem angemessenen Preis. Die Saucen wurden sowohl bei den Pommes als auch beim Salat extra serviert, was wir persönlich sehr gut finden. Die Reste wurden eingepackt. Die Toiletten waren sauber. Wir sprechen insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung für die Essbar Essen&Trinken aus und kommen gerne bei Gelegenheit wieder.

Ab und an bin ich in Westerstede und leider erst jetzt auf das super tolle gastronomie Betrieb aufmerksam geworden. Ich hatte den Spargelburger und der hat mich geschmacklich aus den Socken gehauen, noch nich so einen leckeren perfekten Burger gegessen. Tolle aufmerksames Servicekraft die alles gut griff hatte. Trotz das hier viel los war, gab es nur kleine warte Zeiten bis das Essen zum Tisch gebracht wurde Der gesamte Laden im Innen uns aussen Bereich machte einen gepflegten und sauberen Eindruck. Ich würde gerne mehrere Sterne 🌟 geben, geht leider nicht. Auch das Essen an den anderen Tischen sah mega 😋 aus. Ich komme wieder

Ab und zu gehen wir gerne einmal in die essbar um uns etwas Leckeres zu gönnen. Denn alles was ihr dort bekommt, ist sehr schmackhaft. Egal was. Es sind ganz viele Gerichte auf der Karte, aber hier ganz viel zu schreiben. Das bringt nicht so viel, als wenn er selber euch einmal vor Ort einen Besuch. ab stattet. Andererseits könnt ihr auch da anrufen und euch direkt etwas telefonisch bestellen und ca. 20 bis 30 Minuten später abholen. Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Konzept, was von äußerst freundlichen Mitarbeitern unterstützt wird.

Wenn man mit Convenience leben kann, eine gute Wahl. Wir waren vor 7 Tagen da und es ging sogar recht schnell. Geschmeckt haben die Schnitzel auch. Pommes super. Gerne wieder 9.12.25 schreckliche Kroketten, wie Gummi, die möchte ich niiieee wieder März 2026: die leckeren Kroketten gibt es wieder.....

Sehr leckerer Imbiss, wir hatten Currywurst Pommes und ein Baguette und würden uns wünschen so einen Imbiss bei uns um die Ecke zu haben.

Ein Imbiss der besseren Sorte. Bei meinem Besuch waren alle Mitarbeiter freundlich und der service war schnell. Das Essen war lecker und von der Portionsgröße mehr als ausreichend. Preis- Leistung passt aufjedenfall. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Für einen „Imbiss“ ein sehr schönes Ambiente mit Bedienung am Tisch. Sehr leckere Currywurst auf stilvollen Tellern angerichtet. Preis/ Leistung top.

Ich kenne den Imbiss schon länger. Die Portionen sind ordentlich, das Essen ist frisch und der Service vor Ort ist grundsätzlich freundlich und schnell. Ein Punkt ist für mich jedoch ein Grund für Punktabzug: Die Namensgebung auf der Speisekarte (Stichwort Balkanschnitzel) ist leider absolut nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Dass man hier an einer Bezeichnung festhält, die von vielen als diskriminierend empfunden wird, passt für mich nicht zu einem modernen Gastronomiebetrieb in Westerstede. Es ist schade, dass man sich hier der Verwendung neutralerer Begriffe wie ‚Paprika-Art‘ verschließt. Fazit: Kulinarisch solide Imbissküche, aber die Außendarstellung und die Sprache auf der Karte empfinde ich als sehr rückständig. Wer Wert auf ein zeitgemäßes Umfeld legt, wird sich hier eventuell unwohl fühlen.

Leckers Essen ,reichliche Portion netter Service.

Ich habe selten so ein leckeres crispy chicken Baguette gegessen und die soße, die mir empfohlen wurde, war auch perfekt! Ich werde auf jeden fall wieder kommen🥰

Nettes Team und toller Service. Die Mädels wissen was sie da tun und behalten auch im stress alles im Blick. Der Laden ist eigentlich immer voll was für auch für die Qualität spricht.

The very young staff is, without exception, very friendly and accommodating. Even on busy Saturday nights, for example, when the restaurant is packed and there's a lot of takeaway sales, they remain friendly.

We stopped by spontaneously, and I have to admit, we were impressed. The prices were reasonable, the portions were huge, the ladies at the counter were friendly, and the wait was negligible. All in all, I'll be back next time I'm in Westerstede.

If you want something tasty to eat quickly and still don't want to miss out on quality, friendliness, and a pleasant atmosphere, this is the place to go. Extensive menu, but not too crowded, delicious food, generous portions, and friendly service, all at a good price. Highly recommended.

Very good offer for little money

As always, a delight! A plate of gyro for 15.50 isn't too expensive, it's generous and wonderfully seasoned. Quickly served, and the seating is comfortable. 👍🏼

These women are incredibly good at running their bar. They're well-organized and have a keen eye for detail, even beyond the average Dutch snack bar. The food is excellent. The vegetables are excellent, and the roasted chicken pieces are delicious and juicy. The service isn't overly cheerful, but it's powerful and clear.

Very good snack food at really fair prices, with good outdoor seating. You sit next to the gas station, but right across the street from the hospital. So it's busy, and everything is always fresh.

We were there for the first time today, and definitely not the last. Since we were there with two dogs, we stayed on the terrace. Unfortunately, you could smell the occasional plume of exhaust fumes between the main road and the parking lot. The food, however, was very good. Large portions and deliciously prepared. The prices are reasonable, too, and there's nothing to complain about. Keep up the good work; it was a lovely evening. Thank you.

While passing through, I pick up plants from nurseries several times a year, and my contact at the nursery told me the food is great. I can really recommend it; it's very friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent. Photos to follow.

For us, the best snack bar around...great atmosphere...super friendly staff, both in front of and behind the counter...everything is well-kept and clean...and our dog is allowed inside too... When the weather's nice, there are a few tables outside, and you can always find a seat.

Top bistro – a full 5 stars! The overall package here is simply perfect: The food is always fresh and delicious, the selection is varied, and there's something for every taste. We especially like sitting in the "winter garden" with its fantastic view. It makes the stay truly pleasant. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is clean and well-maintained. You feel completely at home – a definite recommendation!

I ate here for the first time today, based on a recommendation. The food was plentiful and deliciously prepared. The portions are generous. The prices are reasonable, too. I highly recommend this snack bar!

We were on the way home from our old home on Sunday and wanted to have a coffee there. We didn't admit we knew any better. A coffee and a latte and a muffin were so expensive that we can't recommend the rest stop.

A fantastically varied menu, every dish is freshly prepared, and you can sit inside or outside. More than just a typical snack bar.

Yesterday I ate well, everything was okay for the price, nice staff

Very fair prices, very good taste. Very busy and always lots of customers (especially people picking up). Problem, as a customer who wants to eat there on site, is usually pushed aside by all the pick-up people because there is only one cash register. I was the first to try an XL hamburger and found that it was really good. Rare to find for under €9. That's almost how much a small burger normally costs. In itself very small and cozy, especially in the summer when you can sit outside, a very nice restaurant or snack bar is it officially called? But I would rather say the atmosphere of the restaurant. I'll come back in the next few days and test something else. I try a lot of restaurants when I travel.

We went to EssBar and had an overall great experience. The service was attentive and friendly - we found it particularly nice that our son was brought something to paint to fill the waiting time (which wasn't long at all!). We ordered the Mexican bowl, a small burger and the baguette with pulled pork - everything was delicious and served quickly. The price for three people including drinks was €40, which is absolutely fair. Overall, a clear recommendation – it’s worth a visit here!

We have ordered there twice and unfortunately the service is simply incompetent. The first time I had to eat there 4 times!! had to be redone because every time an incorrect order came or something that we had canceled was not implemented. The food then went to go, as everyone else had of course already finished eating after that time. As compensation there was a €5 voucher. The second time when ordering to go, again ordered without tomatoes. Then we wanted to check the order before taking it with us to see whether everything was okay this time, which shouldn't be a problem and were rudely told what we were doing. Oh wonder, there were tomatoes on it again. Really very disappointing. The food is tasty but still very tasty.

Price performance absolutely perfect and satisfactory

Normally I would have given full marks. I don't go there often, so far everything has always been great. But this time the fries were disappointing, no idea what changed. The lady who took the cash wasn't customer friendly: an apple juice had been ordered. She named the items she ordered and said "orange juice", I replied that it was apple juice. Then she said: "The price is the same, you don't have to tell me." Firstly, I have no way of knowing and secondly, it was unnecessary and inappropriate, you don't say that to a customer/guest! I didn't ask her about it because I didn't want to risk a mushy answer or discussion. All the other employees were always very friendly.

Hey people! I go to the Ammerland Clinic relatively often because of my health problems. Whenever the hospital food isn't that tasty (even though the hospital kitchen is by far the best within a 100km radius) or the Jieper comes up with something really hearty, I like to order something from the food bar. So far always top service and absolutely delicious offerings. I always order the fries special there (fries with different sauces, cucumber slices and fried onions, you know that, right?) and either currywurst or an XL cheeseburger. Soooo delicious!!! My favorite snack bar in Westerstede and around!

I had a chili rollo there and unfortunately I have to say that the thing is a joke and please please take this monster drowned in sweet and sour sauce off the menu. Fries, schnitzel etc may be good but you can't do blinds.

I think your food is really delicious, but I don't know if I'm the only customer who buys something sweet from you every now and then but... Once I ordered a donut that tasted extremely old, dry and solid, and then 2 Lions that were way past their date. You should pay attention to your Mhd, because that says a lot about the quality requirements, safety and hygiene of the employees.

Sorry, but the fries were hard, the burger rolls were hard. Never again. It took at least 10 minutes for the food to arrive. The hospital across the street was better. Can't recommend this place.

Food is very tasty and worth the money! Have eaten there several times now. The staff is polite but usually has to keep it very short and to the point as the restaurant is constantly full. It's a cozy atmosphere, but sometimes the music is a bit too loud for my taste. Is definitely recommended!

Good morning I've been there several times now and can only report positive things. The food is not only very good, but excellent and tastes great. The staff is incredibly friendly and waiting times are minimal - the food is often ready in just 10 to 15 minutes.

As holiday guests we were here for the first time today, based on the good Google reviews. It was really really good. We were served friendly and the food was great. Minimal deduction for the somewhat spartan furnishings and sometimes interesting seating distribution in the interior. You can sit and eat outside. Were in Westerstede for a long time due to a medical emergency. Were excellently looked after in the dining bar. Almost completely through the menu... something for everyone, everything delicious. Excellent price/performance ratio, super nice staff... Highlights: - Pulled Pork - the sweet onions - crunchy chicken Here are a few suggestions: Cordon Bleu and grilled pork steak are delicious... definitely deserve their own dish on the menu
