If you want to visit a restaurant, you definitely don't have to go to this place. My friend and I ordered pizza, Aperol, wine and cappuccino. When my friend started to order, the waiter interrupted her mid-sentence and said that we were being quite rude and ugly and that we had to order drinks first. Then he was extremely surprised that we only wanted a pizza and asked several times if there was exactly one))) Such an aggressive sales method is clearly not suitable for a catering establishment that sells food. The drinks arrived quite quickly. The pizza was served on two different plates, which was very pleasant and convenient. But the pizza was terribly dry, it was impossible to cut it, we had to break it. After trying the pizza, we decided we definitely wouldn't order anything else from the food. They also didn't bring us napkins, salt, pepper and olive oil. Should I ask about it? When I asked for the bill, the waiter saw that my friend had left a stain on her dress and started saying that you can take the dress off and I will take it to the laundry. Jokes like this are completely inappropriate since your waiter and I are neither friends nor relatives.

The Bocelli restaurant far exceeded our expectations! As soon as we entered the restaurant we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The atmosphere is cozy and authentically Italian. Our choice fell on the pizza, which turned out to be an absolute hit. The dough was perfectly crispy and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Every bite was a delight! We were even offered a glass of Prosecco on the house, which rounded off an already positive experience. We would particularly like to highlight the service: The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Our wishes were promptly fulfilled and we felt well looked after. Another plus point: the prices at Bocelli are very fair and inexpensive, which made the experience even more pleasant. Overall, our visit to Bocelli was a real highlight. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant. Buon appetite!

Nice restaurant. There is a very large menu, which means you have to think long and hard about what you want to eat. Nevertheless, a waitress came pretty quickly and wanted my order. However, she wasn't pushy or anything. The food was average good. It doesn't blow your mind, but it's still not bad either. The ambience was very nicely decorated and the location is also very good. All in all, a well-rounded affair. :)

We came to Gotha for the weekend and ate at Bocelli on Friday evening. This is how I imagine serving a guest. Very polite, friendly and considerate. The welcome was very friendly. The food was very good and the price was surprisingly good. The food came quickly and was of excellent quality. On Saturday we didn't think twice and went out to eat at Bocelli again. We would like to come again.

Ich bin ganz spontan im Bocelli, zum Abendessen, gelandet. Die junge, weibliche Bedienung war sehr nett, man musste nicht lange auf sein Getränk warten, ein Glas Prosecco gab es gratis dazu. Ich habe alles richtig gemacht, hier essen zu gehen, dachte ich. Ich habe mich für eine Pizza entschieden. Als ich mehr als die Hälfte gegessen habe, fing das Desaster an, ich hatte ein 20 cm langes schwarzes Haar in der Pizza, welches ich mir aus dem Mund gezogen habe. Ich rief den Kellner, er zeigte auf den Himmel, wo es heruntergefallen sein sollte. Es wurde mir noch ein Glas Prosecco angeboten, ich verzichtete darauf, habe meine Rechnung bezahlt und bin gegangen. Es wurde mir gesagt, dass niemand lange Haare in der Küche habe, jedoch die weibliche Bedienung schon. Ich wurde behandelt, als wollte ich mein Essen erschleichen. Solch eine Arroganz ist mir noch nicht begegnet. Schade!

I had the pleasure of visiting Bocelli Restaurant and absolutely loved it! The service was simply outstanding, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was served very quickly and was delicious - every bite was a delight! I can fully recommend this restaurant. An absolute must for all foodies!

We've been going there regularly for years. The pizzas are really good 👍 and the waitresses are very friendly, joking and communicative. Wine is great anyway. But people: forget the normal burgers on the menu and ask for the Rosario Special Burger (photo). This panino dough is awesome. Unique 😋😋😋

Ristorante Bocelli is definitely worth a visit. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine, you won't be disappointed here. I especially recommend the homemade pasta dishes and the delicious desserts.

Top restaurant! During the 3 days that my colleagues and I were in Gotha, we went to this restaurant twice in the evening. Two evenings in a row the service was simply top, the food tasted very good and the price was also reasonable. Clear recommendation for anyone who is in Gotha and is looking for a good restaurant.

Yesterday we had dinner at Bocelli with a larger group, even though they knew there were two small children with us, we sat right near the entrance so it was pretty cool. The food wasn't typically Italian and the prices compared to the website didn't match either.

We were there two days in a row with a large group (more than 10 people). The food was really great, probably the best pasta dish I've ever had. The waiters were super friendly, had a sense of humor and made you feel comfortable. The atmosphere was unbeatable, all of us were thrilled. The restaurant is absolutely recommended!

A nice restaurant in itself, service is friendly! But the food has developed very negatively. The patty from the burger is dry, the bun is still raw, the steak cannot be chewed and the noodles and carpacio are cheap frozen goods! Really underground for the now quite expensive prices! Not again!

Simply not Italian food. I have no idea what's going on in the kitchen but neither of the recipes match the original ones nor are any real spices used, it's a shame the shop deserves real Italians. Wouldn't go again.

On Christmas Day we were there for lunch with 11 people and everything went great. The restaurant was very busy and we didn't have to wait for service. We would love to be guests there again soon.

Mit einem Italiener hat das leider reichlich wenig zu tun! Die Pasta Gerichte sind weit entfernt von guter/ traditioneller italienischer Küche, einfach nur grauenhaft! Gegessen wurde vor Ort, der Service war nett, leider ändert das aber nichts am Geschmack. Pasta ertränkt in einem Mix aus Sahne- Tomaten- Rahmsoße, geschmacklich überhaupt nicht zu definieren! Da jeder eine zweite Chance verdient, haben wir uns im zweiten Anlauf für Pizza entschieden. Quattro Formaggi mit Camembert - unfassbar! Pizza Cabrese - riesige Salattomatenscheiben mit einer Dicke von 1 cm und einem harten Strunk, keine Gaumenfreude, zumal diese dicken Scheiben sofort beim anheben von der Pizza gerutscht sind. Aller guten Dinge sind bekanntlich drei, in diesem Fall verzichten wir uns sparen und das Geld!

Vor zwei Tagen waren wir mit 12 Personen in diesem Lokal. Das Personal war freundlich, die Bestellungen kamen schnell und auch überwiegend gemeinsam. Jedoch das Essen selbst war sehr enttäuschend. Die Vorspeise Tomate/ Mozzarella war schlicht weg nicht zu genießen. Die Hauptspeise nur lauwarm, das Gemüse tatsächlich roh und kalt und für rund 20,- € gerade mal 3 Kroketten. Zum Nachtisch gab es Eis mit heißen Himbeeren, die ungenießbar waren. Die bestellten Creps waren hart, kalt. Selbst Getränke, z. B. Passionsfruchtlimonade mit Mangostücken... Naja... Hört sich gut an, jedoch waren die Mangostücke wie Kaugummi. Alles in allem waren wir sehr enttäuscht.

Nach dem Weihnachtsmarkt waren wir hier zum Essen - Service war nett und schnell - Essen gut und reichhaltig - mir persönlich waren die Spaghetti aglio olio zu scharf - Preis//Leistung war total in Ordnung!!!

Das Essen war im großen und ganzen gut Doch wenn 2 mal die Pizza Nr. 13 serviert wird obwohl man die 19 bestellt hat und dann noch nichtmal irgendetwas als Entschuldigung (irgendein Getränk oder so) gebracht wird ist dass dann schon echt schlecht Das hilight war noch das wir Trinkgeld gegeben haben und zuhause bemerkten das auf der Rechnung die Pizza Nr. 19 stand welche 2 Euro teurer war. Echt maue nummer nie wieder

Begrüßt wurde ich mit einem Prosecco aufs Haus. In der Speisekarte gab es eine riesige Auswahl an Speisen, sowie eine tolle saisonale Karte mit Kürbisvariationen. Ich entschied mich dann für eine Pizza mit gegrilltem Kürbis und kann dazu nur ein Wort sagen: FANTASTISCH! Ganz gtoller Geschmack, super Kombination der Zutaten. Pizzaboden auf den Punkt knusprig und gleichmäßig. Nicht matschig. Der Service ist absolut freundlich und aufmerksam. Wenn ich wieder mal in der Gegend bin, werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Ein sehr nett eingerichtetes Restaurant mit einer erstaunlich großen Anzahl an Sitzmöglichkeiten im Herzen von Gotha. Von den Speisen hatte ich mir etwas mehr erwartet, noch dazu weil in Gotha eine nicht unerhebliche Konkurrenzsituation von Freunden der Dolce Vita vorhanden ist. Aber sei's drum, den Allerweltsgeschmack macht die Herzlichkeit der freundlich schauenden Herren vom Service wieder wett.

Schönes italienisches Lokal. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung nett. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Seit 15 Jahren unser Stammitaliener in Gotha. Insbesondere die Vorspeisen sind sehr zu empfehlen. Toll dekoriert, viel Geschmack, alles frisch und die Preise sind auch absolut okay.

Bitte die Finger vom Würzfleisch lassen!!! Das Fleisch ist zu groß, zäh und die Soße säuerlich. Die Frage ist, warum bietet ein Italiener Würzfleisch an? Schuster bleib bei deinen Leisten, oder Italiener bleib bei deinen Pizzen. Weil die schmecken sehr 👍 gut.

Gutes Eis und Sekt auf das Haus, was will man mehr.

Pizza war perfekt, super Boden, toller Belag! Der Service war überragend! Zuvorkommend, höflich und trotzdem nie aufdringlich. Der Wein war hervorragend gekühlt und äußerst deliziös.

Wir waren am 2.9.2023 im Restaurant. Meine Frau bestellte Bruccetta,die richtig gut aussahen und lecker schmeckten. Ich bestellte einen Chilli-Chees-Burger und bekam einen Barbeque-Burger.Da ich nicht den bestellten Burger bekam,gab ich diesen zurück. Kurz darauf kam ,ich neme an es war der Geschäftsführer,und sagte mir laut und gestekulierend,daß sie verschiedene Soßen verwenden. Ich erklärte ihm das ich mir das nicht vorstellen könne und sagte ihm das auf meinem Burger weder Käse noch Peperonie seien.Stattdessen aber Barbequesoße und ich bitte den von mir bestelltn Burger möchte. Er bot mir jedoch ein anderes Gericht an,welches ich verneinte. Daraufhin wurde er unhöfflicher und noch lauter und erteilte uns Hausverbot. Meine Frau hat zu Ende gegessen,wir zahlten und wollten gehen.Die Bedienung,die sehr höfflich war entschuldigte sich noch zweimal bevor wir gingen. Die Bedienungen sind höfflich und nett.Auf den Geschäftsführer,oder wer immer der Mensch auch war kann man verzichten. Wie das andere Essen schmeckt kann ich nicht sagen,da wir ja sofort nach unserer höfflichen Beschwerde Hausverbot bekamen.

Vor Ort angekommen ,erhielten ich und mein Geschäftspartner eine Optisch gute ,jedoch ungeordnete Speisekarte. Die Reihenfolge der Speisekarte war unstrukturiert und durcheinander, jedoch hat man sich nach einer gewissen Zeit zurecht gefunden. Wir bestellten uns 2 Getränke und eine Vorspeise, welche unseren Hunger erstmal zufrieden stellten, die Vorspeise im Allgemeinen ließ jedoch zu wünschen übrig. Die Bruschetta war vom Geschmack her gut, jedoch war das Brot nass, was mich bis ins Mark erschütterte. Bei dem Hauptgang gab es 2 Pizzen ,die leider am Rand voll mit trockener Soße waren. Zudem war es eine Klassische Pizza wie man es kennt und nichts außergewöhnliches, was mich sehr enttäuschte. Der Service war ganz freundlich und hat ein gutes Erscheinen von sich gegeben. Bei den Mitarbeitern kann man echt nicht meckern, vielleicht noch ein bisschen persönlicherer Umgang hätte nicht geschadet um das Wohlbefinden zu stillen, ansonsten war der Service echt Solide. Das Ambiente war ganz zufriedenstellend, es war zwar nichts besonderes jedoch haben mir winzige Details gefehlt, zudem war die Aufteilung der Plätze ein bisschen unwohl da man seinen Freiraum nicht hatte. Es ist ein Solides Restaurant, jedoch müssen sie ihre Schwächen betrachten und einen Schritt nach vorne machen. Sobald eine Verbesserung angebracht wurde, kann eine gute Zukunft für dieses Lokal in Sicht sein. Aus diesem Besuch nehme ich die Erfahrung mit und gebe eine meiner Meinung nach berechtigte 3 Sterne Rezension ab.
