Very good service, delicious food, nice atmosphere.

Unfortunately, unlike before, very disappointing!! The “Rostbrätl” without onions!?? And the rest, such as a simple schnitzel, was also very dry. You just can't go there anymore. A look through the window of the kitchen, well you should actually go back there. It's a real shame actually.

...well, one thing first - best BURGER I've had so far. Just crazy. The pepper steak was also exactly on point, mega portions and great quality - if someone in the kitchen knows exactly what they are doing, someone has found their own calling. The service is super nice, not intrusive and yet has a very good feeling for when she is needed. Simply fair prices for this quality, we are very happy with our choice of restaurant. Highly recommended!

If it hadn't been for the annoyed waitress who responded very snippily to older people and would rather wash dishes than respond to guests' requests, then it would have been a really nice evening. We actually had to pay for the decorations or putting up a tablecloth when we were guests and ate there after my grandpa's funeral. We weren't even given a hint about it. Neither on the phone, when making the reservation, nor when handing over the invoice. I think that's in bad taste.

I liked it overall. The first impression was a bit dark and gloomy, but when you sit and look around calmly, the concept becomes apparent. The menu is clear and adapted to the season. There are also a few bold combinations on it. The taste was ok to good, everyone feels differently, some combinations didn't blow me away that much. The service was nice and friendly. Price-performance was ok.

Why only four stars?! I reserved a table online for myself and my three kids...we go out for dinner every birthday... When I arrived at the rustic restaurant, which was beautifully furnished for me and my kids, I was unfortunately told that "there was no time to take the online reservations into account." But okay, there are days like that even in this day and age We once had fish fingers with tomato sauce and mashed potatoes, twice we had nuggets with fries and once we had rabbit liver on mashed potatoes...what portions hey...incredibly tasty and, above all, large portions... We also had three small Sprites and a small Coke... and now we come to my personal highlight of the evening... the bill... when the friendly waitress threw €56 at me for it... I could hardly find any words... as I said , very generous portions, incredibly tasty and fresh, the kids were thrilled.. Since I couldn't manage my monster portion, I was immediately asked in a friendly manner whether it should be packed for me. On December 21st the next one is born...and I'll be back...

I sat at a table for 20 minutes and wasn't served even though I was seen. I stayed at the hotel next door. Nothing like this has ever happened to me. I then left the unfriendly restaurant hungry.

On a spur of the moment decision, therefore without a reservation, the two of us went to the horse stable restaurant for lunch again today. We were again very satisfied with the service and the very tasty food. Our food was again beautifully prepared, making it a feast for the eyes. We can highly recommend this restaurant.

Price performance doesn't fit, US rump steak with pan-fried vegetables (heated letscho) for 32 euros or hamburger for 20 euros is totally excessive, definitely not gourmet cuisine

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 6 Personen und haben auf der Terrasse gesessen. Die Umgebung war in Ordnung, die Tische standen nicht zu eng. Der Service war schnell u. aufmerksam. Das Essen war unterschiedlich, Sülze war gut, das Rostbrät'l entsprach nicht der gewünschten Qualität.

The dinner, like most things on the menu, was just about acceptable in price. But it tasted good and we weren't disappointed. Large garden with lots of seating, all protected from the sun with umbrellas. Reservations are mandatory as it is very busy.

Freund von uns hatten eine ausgewählten Tisch reserviert. Als wir auf die Terrasse kamen, war auch der ausgewählte Tisch frei. Die Bedienung, der wir das erzählten, kam dann nur mit einem Spruch daher: "Sie entscheidet wo wir sitzen, egal was wir reserviert haben!" - Nach dem ersten Staunen von unserer Seite her, ging es aber so den gesamten Abend weiter. Sie hatte so eine schnippige und vorlaute Art an sich, das wir schon erwägt hatten, das Lokal zu verlassen. Ein paar Auszüge von ihrer Art: "Ich habe nach der Vorspeise gefragt und nicht nach einem Hauptgang. Halten sie sich gefälligst daran!" - "Wenn ich frage, wer das essen bestellt hat, dann erwarte ich unverzüglich eine Antwort!" - "Wenn sie noch was zu trinken haben wollen, dann müssen sie warten, bis sie dran sind!" - "Wenn sie zahlen wollen, kommen sie gefälligst in den Gasthof. Hier draussen ist es schon zu dunkel, da kassiere ich nicht mehr ab!" Dieses sind nur einige Aussagen, die den gesamten Abend erfolgten. Daher auch leider nur 3 Punkte. Das Essen, hat alles rausgerissen. Einfach nur mit Liebe gekocht und SAU LECKER. Da kann man nichts beanstanden. Auch die Location selber - "ZUM PFERDESTALL" - entsprach dem Namen. Einfach mit Herzblut eingerichtet und grenzenlos Einladend. Wenn da nicht diese Bedienung gewesen wäre.

We had specially reserved an early table. When we arrived there were 2 guests sitting on the terrace. When we asked if we could sit at a table with a bench, we were told no, only at a table for two. Since we cannot sit on the hard chairs for health reasons, our only option was to sit indoors when the weather was nice. We were seated directly in the entrance area, even though all other seats were free. The lady next to us at the table first counted her daily income. Even though I put my gourmet block on the table when I ordered, there was still a surprise. Despite the hardly increased number of guests, an older couple was sent away again; they were supposed to come an hour later. The food we ordered came pretty quickly. Unfortunately, I imagine something different when I think of fried onions; the meat was over-peppered and the fried potatoes and mushrooms were too bland. As soon as the cutlery was put aside, the dishes were cleared from the table. About 30 minutes later and only by calling the service staff did he come to the table. When it came to payment and I told the service staff that I had a voucher from Schlemmerblock, it was not taken into account. I should have communicated this immediately. Here I ask myself the question, the service staff can cancel the receipt and re-enter it. Or does the service staff never make a mistake? Does a guest who receives a voucher for the gourmet block receive other food? I didn't get a chance to redeem this voucher even though I said I wasn't from the area. It's a shame, I come from the catering industry myself and am therefore very disappointed. Unfortunately, I won't give a good recommendation. I would also like to point out that the service staff should be better trained; I had the feeling that working less is more. I live my service philosophy differently because every satisfied guest is happy to come back and secure my job.

This place is awesome. Great food (even senior portions at a lower price), very friendly service and the ambience is unique, special and beautiful - inside and out. So guys, visit this great location, you won't regret it.

We walked by from the adjacent hotel in the afternoon to see if we would like to eat here in the evening. No one in sight, door is closed, no one on the terrace and in the garden. A menu. Then the door opens and an employee asks what I am doing because she saw me on the camera. I say, I want to take a look at the map. She answers if I couldn't have asked that first. Well, how do you approach a guest in a friendly manner? This person was clearly born here 50 years too late and belongs here in a different time. The food will be quite nice, but I'm sure I wouldn't like it anymore because of this guest approach.

The food was impeccable. It is better to have a small and manageable menu and good quality. It all worked out. We were in transit and stayed overnight in the adjacent hotel. So what could be better than going straight to the restaurant there? We would have liked to have avoided the unfriendly greeting and the advice that nothing works without a reservation. But the highlight was that we first had to ask in the kitchen whether we could still get something to eat... we're talking about 8 p.m. and the restaurant was only half full. Our dishes didn't taste particularly good, run of the mill and very salty. The portions were okay, but in my opinion there is no value for money here, as we paid 60 euros for two with a small child for only 1 drink per person. We experienced something very different on our trip! One young waitress was very nice and accommodating, another was very rude and snotty. It was okay due to the location next to the hotel, but otherwise I wouldn't go again.

Restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Service is friendly but the food doesn't match the price and performance at all. We had Solyanka. The taste was okay but very cold. And you pay 7.50 euros for the amount of one ladle of soup?? As a main course, a tablespoon of brawn with remoulade, raw vegetable salad and 2 tablespoons of fatty fried potatoes. And over 17 euros for that??? That is not justified.

All in all very disappointing how the service, the price/performance ratio and the overall standard of the horse stable have deteriorated over the last few years. Previously always a safe place for appropriate portion sizes, delicious taste and friendly, courteous service, unfortunately there is not much left of these three important pillars of a catering business. If the service were more on point and served the existing customers in a timely and service-oriented manner, the now unfortunately completely overpriced food prices could be reduced to a normal and contemporary level and the necessary sales per customer could be achieved through drinks, desserts, etc. The service fee that is now unfortunately common for changing the order of a side dish, for example from potato wedges to fried potatoes, seems almost cheeky in this light. But apparently not all potatoes are the same ;-) and that's why I don't want to compare the good times of the horse stable (apples) with the standard that exists today (pears).

Very attractive restaurant but with mixed food. We were there with a larger group and the portions were very different. Some very lavish, others more manageable. The schnitzel was fried in the same pan as the pike perch from the person sitting next to me. I won't be eating here again anytime soon. Drink selection was good. Unfortunately not price performance.

Treffen in der Location das Essen so lala für Lachs 200gr. mit Kortoffelstampf und Lauchgemüse 24 EUR für mich zu teuer,aber das ist ja Ansichtssache. Der Service ist unterirdisch und nicht empfehlenswert. Ob es nur die 1 Dame ist schwer zu sagen beim 1. Besuch ist mir der komische Umgangston auch schon aufgefallen. Ich wollte Bier bestellen, klar kann man sich ja aus der Karte jenes vorher aussuchen. Da die Location nicht Haus der 1000 Biere heißt hatte ich erwartet auf diese Frage ein paar Biere empfohlen zu bekommen. Der Ironische Unterton da kann ich Ihnen also alles bringen war mir zuviel. Später wollte ich noch ein Radler bestellen. Sie lief am Tisch vorbei ich hab den Finger sie drehte sich zu mir ich sagte " Ein Radler für mich bitte noch?" Ihre Antwort: " Jetzt nicht"später brachte Sie mir das Radler. Warum Sie nicht sagte hab es notiert bring es gleich ist mir unklar. Nicht wieder wir werden ,dass nächste mal woanders hingehen.

Our last experience was about 2 weeks ago in the early evening around 5:30 p.m. There were 2 people sitting at 2 tables in the outdoor area, otherwise there were around 15 empty tables. So we sat down, still in a good mood until then. The contact with the waitress went like this: "Have you made a reservation?" No, we didn't. "But I still have 4 reservations." OK. “But I have to deal with that.” Aha. Well. - Waitress blubbers a bit and walks off, rolling her eyes. We thought about it for a moment and then simply left because the waitress felt that our presence was really disrupting her routine. With prices of around 20 EUR per dish, you simply don't want to be given the feeling of being an annoying nuisance. We regret that because, as already mentioned, the food tastes very good, but the annoyances surrounding it are simply no longer acceptable to us.

Viel zu teuer für diese s Essen !!!!!!!! Ich bestellte 200gr Lachs mit Kartoffelbrei und Lauchgemüse für 24 €. Der Lachs bestand aus einem Zigarettenschachtel großem Stück ca 100 gr. Formfleisch ggf. vom Lachs . Kartoffelbrei aus der Tüte garniert mit reichlich Zweige der Kresse. Materialeinsatz ca 5 €.Die Erhöhung der Mehrwertsteuer erlaubt eine Preisangleichung verstehe ich. Trotzdem muss das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmen, für qualitativ wertvolles Essen bezahlt man die hohen Preise, aber nicht für minderwertige Speisen. Wenn ich am Imbisswagen für 5€ Backfisch kaufe ist das Stück größer und die Qualität besser.
