Hidden Gem: wir waren dort mit unserem 6 Monate alten Baby. Toller Service, sehr wohl gefühlt. Krosse Gyros, lecker bifteki und der obligatorische Ouzo kam auch! Mein neuer lieblingsgrieche von Hamburg bis NRW.

Wirklich guter und sehr gastfreundlicher Grieche. Und dann stimmt auch noch das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Wir gehen hier immer essen ,wenn wir in Hannover sind.Das Essen ist sehr lecker, die Bedienung ist super freundlich und hilft sogar geduldig im Umgang mit meiner schwerbehinderten Mutter.Die Auswahl an Speisen ist reichlich und mein gern fleischessender Mann kommt zum Beispiel beim Zorbas Teller ins Schwärmen.Ich als Vegetarierin liebe die Salate und veganen Gerichte.Der neue vegane Gyrosteller ist sehr lecker!

Wir waren am Muttertag mit meiner Mutter unterwegs und haben spontan nach einem Restaurant in der Nähe gesucht. Dabei sind wir auf Zorbas gestoßen. Schon das Google Profil mit den schönen Bildern hat einen sehr guten Eindruck gemacht, also sind wir hingefahren. Und es war einfach super. So viel Gastfreundschaft, so familiär und herzlich, genau solche Restaurants suchen wir. Wir sind wirklich froh, dass wir Zorbas gefunden haben. Auch das Ambiente war mega schön. Super gemütlich, richtig liebevoll eingerichtet und genau so, wie man sich eine griechische Taverne irgendwo auf Kreta vorstellt. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl und willkommen. Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr lecker und man merkt sofort, dass hier mit viel Herz gearbeitet wird. Ein tolles familiengeführtes Restaurant, das wir absolut empfehlen können.

Das beste griechische Restaurant, das wir kennen. Wenn über Jahrzehnte die Gerichte derart hochwertig zubereitet werden, wie wir es seit einigen Jahren kontinuierlich erleben, verdient das besondere Anerkennung! Weiter und gut so!👌

Sehr leckeres Essen. Allerdings gibt es nur eine einzige Platte für mehrere Personen. Das ist von Nachteil, wenn einige Fleischarten die Geschmäcker nicht treffen. Auch Salatteller haben wir in der Speisekarte nicht gefunden. Schade ist es, dass die Zwiebeln gewässert gelagert werden und dadurch die Schärfe und den Geschmack verloren haben. Ein wenig enttäuschend ist auch, dass man Tzaziki zum Gyros extra bestellen muss. Trotzdem stimmt das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis und wir kommen beim nächsten Hannoverbesuch gerne wieder. Beste Grüße aus der Schweiz und dem Norden Deutschlands.

Selten in so einem schönen gemütlichen griechischen Restaurant gewesen. Ohne Reservierung würde u s ein Tisch frei geräumt, zuvorkommender Service, sehr leckeres Essen, keine überladenen Teller wie man es sonst vom Griechen kennt. Die Eigentümer bedienen selbst, nicht aufdringlich aber offen für ein Plausch. Sehr zu empfehlen, auch wenn es die Gegend nicht vermuten lässt.

Wir waren heute das erste - und bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal da: total netter Service, mega leckeres Essen: 💯% Weiterempfehlung. Ganz lieben Dank: 4 Menschen und 1 Hund waren sehr zufrieden

Ein Familien geführtes Restaurant. Die Inhaber sind immer sehr nett und freundlich. Das essen ist immer sehr lecker. Außerdem kann man manchmal auch dort sehr gute Weine und Olivenöl aus Griechenland kaufen. Da das Restaurant etwas kleiner ist, sollte man dort reservieren. Aber man kann dort auch essen zum mitnehmen bestellen.

Seit vielen, vielen Jahren essen wir hier super schmackhaftes und leckeres Essen und wir haben schon viele griechische Küchen ausprobiert. Es überzeugte uns keines und deshalb wird Zorbas immer unser Grieche bleiben. Gemütliches, für uns auch eine ansprechende Umgebung. Chef und Personal ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das Restaurant Zorbas ist ein echter Geheimtipp! Es liegt etwas versteckt in einer Seitenstraße, aber einmal gefunden, wird man es immer wieder aufsuchen . Von außen unscheinbar, empfängt einen drinnen eine unglaublich gemütliche und familiäre Atmosphäre . Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und gut aufgehoben, wie bei einem Besuch in einer griechischen Taverne. Die Küche ist einfach fantastisch. Die Speisen sind authentisch, hochwertig und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Ich hatte einen gemischten Grillteller mit zarten Spießen und Gyros – alles perfekt gegrillt und gewürzt . Die Mezedes (Vorspeisen) sind ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen . Auch die Weinkarte hat eine feine Auswahl, der kretische Weißwein passte hervorragend zu unserem Essen . Der Service ist durchweg aufmerksam, freundlich und persönlich. Der Inhaber kommt oft selbst an den Tisch und plaudert mit den Gästen, was den Abend zu etwas Besonderem macht . Zur Begrüßung oder zum Abschied gibt es gerne mal einen Ouzo oder ein kleines Dessert – diese liebevollen Gesten runden das Erlebnis perfekt ab . Die Preise sind absolut angemessen für die gebotene Qualität und die großzügigen Portionen . Ein Tipp: Unbedingt reservieren, denn das Restaurant ist sehr beliebt und oft gut besucht . Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder – vielen Dank an das gesamte Zorbas-Team für diesen wunderbaren Abend!

Qualität findet man im hintersten Winkel. Zorbas, versteckt in einem Wohngebiet aber ständig stark besucht. Weil Qualität gewürdigt wird. Essen hervorragend, Getränke super Auswahl, Bedienung / Bewirtung aufmerksam und absolut freundlich. Hier ist der Gast gern gesehen und das spürt man vom ersten Moment an. Wir hatten einmal eine kleine Unstimmigkeit bei der Rechnung, die sofort mit absoluter Kulanz bereinigt wurde. Im Nachhinein hat sich herausgestellt, dass es sich nur um eine unglückliche Bezeichnung handelte und um keinen Fehler in der Abrechnung. Eine so nette und unkomplizierte Bearbeitung eines Missverständnisses haben wir noch nie erlebt. Dieses Haus ist unbedingt einen Besuch wert. Ganz vielen Dank an das Team und weiter so. Wir bleiben treue Gäste!!!

Wir waren am 31.12.2025 das zweite mal dort essen. Es gab ein Silvester Menü, es war ganz hervorragend. Es essen war sehr lecker und der Service so nett und freundlich. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend

Dieses Restaurant gibt nur einen klitzekleinen Anlass zum meckern. Nicht erst seit dem es zum besten Griechen Hannovers gekürt wurde ist es regelmässig sehr gut besucht und man sollte immer reservieren! Ansonsten sind alle bisher probierten Speisen und Getränke von hervorragender Güte und zeugen von hoher Kochkunst. Es fühlt sich beim Betreten immer etwas wie "nach Hause" kommen an. Danke an das gesamte Team!

Zorbas is located in a residential area and somewhat removed from the hustle and bustle. A very small restaurant with a lovely outdoor area. The restaurant was quite full, at least on the terrace. The few tables inside (about 12) sell out quickly. Very nice decor throughout the restaurant, not too cluttered. Very friendly service, happy to answer any questions. Only the small restrooms could use a bit more care or a handyman. The food was very tasty (an ouzo plate for €21) and very reasonably priced for the portion. I'll definitely be back. But I'll probably always get the ouzo plate.

We've been there many times and go back every now and then. The restaurant is relatively small but very cozy! The service is very nice and friendly. You don't have to wait long. The dishes are delicious, and the portions are more than enough to fill you up. What I also think is great is that you can pick up your order on site. Also without a long wait. We received a really warm welcome. The restaurant is located in a residential area, yet still has views of the greenery. We had an outside table, which was authentic and not kitschy. The tables were very lovingly set. The service was really friendly and attentive. The lamb fillet was excellently grilled, and the gyros and souvlaki were very good in terms of quality and seasoning. The portions are generous. Truly superb cuisine in an authentic atmosphere! And despite the wind and clouds, the outdoor seating was very comfortable... Inside it looked very quaint and inviting. The restrooms were also in top condition. If you're looking for a little escape into the Greek atmosphere, this family-run business is the right place for you.

Zorbas is a small, cozy and old-established restaurant that exudes a lot of personal charm. Combined with the great service and food, you almost feel like you're in Greece when you stop here. I had the baklava cheesecake with ice cream from the daily menu last week - it was an absolute delight and one of the best desserts I've ever had.

The meat was tender and cooked to perfection, the service was competent and very friendly. We wanted to sit outside even though no one else was sitting there because of the cold. That wasn't a problem at all, but the service still served us very attentively, turned on the heater and checked regularly whether everything was fine and we were satisfied. We spontaneously got a table for two people on Friday evening. Very tasty starter for 2 people. For my main course I had the stuffed pork fillet. Had great service. Tasty mocha afterwards. Great store. We'd love to come back

The service is great. Everyone was very nice and attentive. It was asked "whether you would like to take a short meal break after the starter". We found that very pleasant. The starter plate for 2 people was very tasty. The pita bread and large pickled beans in tomato sauce were warm. 👍 The stuffed pork fillet with cheese and peppers was delicious. The philosopher's plate (suflaki, fillet and suzuki) was also well fried. The fries weren't quite to our taste but the tomato rice was juicy and well seasoned. There is tapped Veltins and homemade, delicious mocha. It is a very rustic, "crowded" restaurant. There are many types of wine and ouzo to try. You can also sit outside. Conclusion: Gladly again
