We were here for lunch on October 19th, 2024, on our way home from the Baltic Sea. It was fantastically beautiful, the service staff was super friendly and super accommodating. We were there with 3 kids (2,7,8 years) When we're in the corner again we'll visit you again. :)

It was a great dinner. We chose a place a little far from the city, the date was October 3 and we went without making a reservation. 🙃 Luckily, the experienced gentleman who welcomed us was helpful. Otherwise, it was pretty busy that evening. I can say that it was worth going all that way. Lamb meat was like Turkish delight. I think it would be great if the baked potatoes served with it were hot. 🙃 Green beans, salad, sauce were all good. So is the seafood platter. Among them, calamari was especially delicious. Cheesecake dessert was also delicious and beautiful. The young man who served us was also fast, courteous and attentive.

Excellent! Where to start...? Let's start with the atmosphere that you immediately feel when you enter the restaurant. There is life here, here you are greeted by floodlights, the typical Greek hospitality is overwhelming, the selected Greek music sounds in the background. For the moment you feel like you are in beautiful Greece. The location is beautiful, with many cozy private rooms. The walls tastefully and lovingly decorated. On the tables there are sensible, beautiful salt and pepper mills and stylish lamps that can be adjusted depending on your mood. A stylish cutlery set is already on the table. The waitresses were all very friendly and attentive. You can feel a good and happy atmosphere in the team. Now let's get to the essentials... The food! We ordered an ouzo plate and baked gyros with Cretan potatoes. Both were a taste poem! The meat is nice and tender. That's how it has to be! Thank you very much for a lovely evening! Top! 👍 @Aki: I'll be back by the outdoor season at the latest and I'd be happy if there's time for a little chat then.

We ate here several times. But probably for the last time now. Even if no one wants to hear it anymore, the price screw here is clearly turned too tight. The portions of vegetarian gyros cost over €20......sorry but at some point the ratio just doesn't work anymore. Even the normal gyros at just under € 20 is far beyond what is bearable, especially since we were informed that a lot of gyros v+ had been ordered due to the long waiting time and that there would therefore be delays. No problem at all, but unfortunately the gyro was correspondingly uncrispy because everything had to come out. The other times it was really delicious and we were happy to drive here from Celle. Last time, however, it was more mass than class. Well, there are now six more places available.

We were passing through Hamburg and had dinner there with a 15-month-old child. The food was excellent and we haven't eaten from such good Greek restaurants for a long time. Very very hospitable and the conditions very attentive. Can recommend it 100%.

I was there 8 years ago, I was there again today and since then everything has been just as you would expect from a good restaurant. A warm welcome and an equally warm farewell round off the experience with a very good meal. We'll definitely be back ✌🏽😊✌🏽

Rarely have we eaten as well as we did this evening. We were passing through and stopped in Hanover. 4 adults, 2 children (1.5 and 2 years old). The restaurant was right next to ours Hotel. We just had dinner shortly after 8 p.m. The waiters and the boss immediately had a seat, brought children's chairs and children's menus. Food was super tasty, inexpensive, the waiters were on point, the atmosphere was great (we sat inside, it was a little colder), attentive waiters, the kids could jump. We had main courses and starters, everything was top notch, good quantity, taste great! Any time again, we rarely give 5/5 stars but it was really worth it.

I travel all over the northwest and almost always go out to eat in the evening. I always book my hotel nearby with this Greek, no matter where I have to go the next day. World class, I can't say more. Everything is perfect here, wine, waiters and especially the food. At some point I'll drive here with my family, despite the 135km, because it's simply worth it. Even 6 stars are not enough.

Very nice restaurant with a shady beer garden. I was in Hanover on business and after the food was so good on the first evening, we went there twice again.

It was my first time there and I really liked it. My meal was very tasty. What I personally didn't like was that there was already bread on the table. I think you should only bring it when it is needed. Otherwise everything was great.

On the way home from holiday & a last night to satisfy hunger We chose KYTARO & we were only SATISFIED with that & IT WAS VERY SATISFIED👌 Really good food and equally good service. Everything we got tasted great. It was big portions. Extremely friendly waiters.

Great restaurant, highly recommended. It's been a long time since I've seen such attentive and motivated staff, really great!!! We reserved a table for our son's birthday based on a recommendation. Although we only mentioned his birthday in passing when making the reservation, a decorated table was prepared for us and he was personally greeted and congratulated. The range of dishes is very diverse, including for vegetarians. We also really liked the ambience outside. We'd love to come back.

We were really excited about this restaurant. Lots of space for guests, but still great service and the food came very quickly... and was soooo delicious! Great! The drink selection was also fantastic. I would also like to give more than 5 stars for the service because the entire crew was really friendly, especially to our 7-month-old mini. A children's chair with cushions was brought straight away, the glass we had brought with us was warmed up and in addition to their work, all the waiters had a funny grin or a little grimace for the little one, which he really enjoyed. It's a shame we were just passing through, otherwise this would probably be our new favorite Greek place.

Everything is right here. Food, service, drinks, price performance. It's very nice to know a restaurant like this.

The food is good and so is the ambience. But it doesn't correspond to such upscale cuisine that you have to charge such prices. 3 salads to choose from and at least 18 euros. Well, as an alternative there is the salad from the salad buffet for just under 6 euros. Nevertheless, it is a Greek restaurant with a large but not exceptional kitchen. Completely normal...so please also normal prices.

The food was very tasty, fine, tender liver, etc., service was friendly, always with a laugh. The beer was at the table quickly, I felt very comfortable and will come back.

The Kytaro is like coming home every time - a super cozy and, above all, warm atmosphere! All the employees are super friendly and provide above-average service (best regards to Thomas 😉). I have enjoyed being a guest here for many years now. Almost every summer, Akki has a new surprise in store, as something is often improved at the restaurant during the summer break. The food is simply perfect - the quantities are perfectly balanced, you will always (!) be full here, and the selection is gigantic (from “normal” dishes, to vital dishes / without carbohydrates, to senior plates with slightly smaller portions ), everyone will find what they are looking for here. Above all, the garnishes of the dishes are particularly good. Even the beef fillet is impressive, which cannot be said about every Greek. You're doing a great job, Kytaro team - keep it up! 🤩☺️

The best greek restaurant I've been to so far! The food was incredible and the service was wonderful. You get a salad buffet option with every dish you order. I definitely recommend it!

Very tasty food, good and fast service and very friendly staff. Personally, I didn't like the salad buffet; there was a long queue and you had the feeling you had to hurry up so as not to cause more traffic jams. Otherwise everything was great!

Kytaro is our favorite Greek restaurant and we also take the 35 kilometer journey to eat very well and enjoy the family, friendly atmosphere. The food is delicious, the salad selection is fresh and varied and the staff is extremely attentive and friendly. No matter how busy it is, we never had to wait long for drinks or food. We try to provide regular customers with a table even if they don't have a reservation, even if you have to wait. Many thanks to the Kytaro team for the very good performance and friendly service. Absolute recommendation

Based on what I know from friends and acquaintances.. I wanted to go to this sought-after RESTAURANT "KYTARO".... and on the street (=where the 30.... kilometer zone is☝️) from one "excessive speed=Dringling"- >I was run over... THANK GOD 👍 I'm alive... and today... I can stand on my feet... I'm innocent (everything was recorded by the police). Now I'm slowly feeling better. Please all customers of "KYTARO" ALWAYS BE CAREFUL☝️👍especially pay attention in 30 km zones, as young drivers often come who are in a hurry. I WELCOME ALL REASONABLE PEOPLE💞❣️💝💌

The service is always friendly, the food is great and when the weather is good, the cozy outdoor area under the large trees is especially worth it! It's worth making a reservation even during the week, as it's usually busy.

I was at Kytaro yesterday. The meal was excellent. I had the 120th gyros with vegetables. Which was very tasty. Tzatziki and ajvar were served with it. There was a salad bar where you could put together your own salad that went with the main course. The service was excellent and every wish was literally read from our lips. There were about 20 of us who got our food at the same time and we all ordered à la carte. A great organizational performance from the kitchen and service team. Thank you for this successful evening

Can't give any other rating, everything is great. It's not like the average "Greek" around the corner. However, the prices are a little more exclusive, as is the extensive menu. Service is great and any special requests are fulfilled immediately.

Food tasted great and was very nicely prepared. I have never seen such a well-coordinated team at a Greek company - i.e. service was great! The atmosphere was upscale and tastefully decorated. The prices were not cheap, but appropriate for the “experience”. - we come regularly now.

We spontaneously went to eat here and got a seat in the beer garden, which is surprisingly large behind the house. Inside it was rather cramped and crowded. The service was very friendly and mostly very quick with the drinks. The waiting time for the food was really ok compared to how busy the restaurant was. All the dishes we ordered tasted very tasty and the portions were quite large. 👍🏻

Last Saturday I spontaneously went to Kytaro around 1:30 p.m. after a motorcycle tour. Although the restaurant was almost completely booked and the beer garden was also well attended, I was offered a table by the very friendly service staff. Despite the high number of visitors, the entire service was very professional and courteous, and the waiting times were reasonable. High praise, I have experienced something completely different elsewhere under these challenging conditions. Food and service excellent. One of the top addresses!
