A fantastic, modern restaurant that has grown from ancient roots. A chef who knows his craft. The dishes are exquisitely presented and, above all, very well-seasoned. The restaurant's interior is very modern. The service could be a bit more attentive, but was still very pleasant. We will definitely be back.

Tried it on recommendation. It was a real experience. The food is incredibly good and presented like a work of art. Even the welcome from the kitchen was amazing. King prawns truly worthy of the name. The service was warm and welcoming, and the value for money was outstanding. We'll definitely be back.

Bad experience with reservation. We wanted to eat there, called, and no one answered. Then we ordered online (see picture). The next day, the restaurant called us and yelled at us. When we asked if there were still seats available, she said no. I would give it zero stars if possible.

I invited my wife to celebrate our 60th anniversary on August 1st. We were extremely pleased. Everything—the ambiance, the service, and especially the food—were of a high standard. Thank you so much for this wonderful evening. Karl

This charming restaurant is a true discovery! If you're looking for variety, you'll definitely find it here – the menu, while small, is exquisite and offers something for every taste. The dishes are delicious, freshly prepared, and presented with great attention to detail. The fair prices are particularly noteworthy, making the high-quality offerings all the more enjoyable. The service is warm, attentive, and yet pleasantly unobtrusive – you feel welcome from the very first moment. The ambiance completes the experience: cozy, tasteful, and inviting. The whole package is just right here – a place you'll gladly return to! Reservations in advance are a must, though :)!

A very beautiful restaurant, lovingly decorated. The dishes are perfectly prepared, presented with great care, and served to perfection. We were there on our wedding anniversary, and the table was decorated accordingly. We had a wonderful evening and would love to come back. We ate the evening menu, which featured seasonal produce.

Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was not to our satisfaction. Although the quality of the food was convincing, the service left a lot to be desired. The waiting time for the food was unreasonably long. We were also served the wrong water and the wrong wine. The drinks were not refilled during the entire stay, and even after our glasses were empty, the staff did not ask if we had any further requests. The bread that was provided was cleared away without asking, even though it had not yet been eaten. Even at the end of the visit we were not asked whether everything was okay or whether we were satisfied. Overall, the service left a very inattentive and impersonal impression. Unfortunately we didn't feel comfortable and can therefore not recommend the restaurant.

Very close to madness - Restaurant Ziegler Alexander Hahn is a charmer on the piano who, despite his strong hands, has mastered the subtlety of the aromatic keyboard. The starter, a tuna tataki accompanied by a spicy radish salad and a touch of ponzu sauce, conjures up a lot of fascinating color on the plate and in the senses. Totally clear! A clear message at Alexander Hahn is its excellent freshness of local meat and delicate vegetable elements. The main course is an excellent saddle of veal under a fine herb crust, fried almost perfectly pink. Plus eggplant ravioli and green asparagus. The aromas are genuine and fine. Everything tastes subtle and melts perfectly in your mouth. The consistency of the meat is particularly tender, almost as soft as butter, and the power of its great aroma becomes clear from the first touch on the now alert palate. Slightly mild, slightly nutty and a subtle hint of meadow herbs. This is how meat should taste... yes, this is how it should taste. Yes! That's how it is here: neither fake nor artificial. Here there is no tinkering with the star or tugging at the guests' nerves. The portion sizes at Ziegler's are neither minimalist nor opulent, but rather the ideal medium of all pleasures. All the assignments on the plate are designed in such a way that you can experience a wonderful taste and satiety experience in just a few bites without tiring yourself out with a concentrated list of questions. Here we cook with a lot of passion and seduce with a lot of joy in service. Definitely: Even if no star adorns his restaurant. Here, in Jacqueline and Alexander's aroma room, the focus is on the guests and the products of the stars, which he presents excellently. And just as definitely... people who enjoy food will already miss the loving, charming service on the way home.

Nice, modern atmosphere, you immediately feel at home. Regional, seasonal food. You can taste the quality and that most of the dishes are homemade.

We were there for lunch today and really enjoyed the excellent menu, my wife beef fillet tips and I enjoyed the game fish. Alkes was very tasty and beautifully prepared. I would like to highlight the 7 herb soup. I can highly recommend the restaurant!

A highly recommended restaurant in Weinheim. An interesting menu, good produce, and excellent preparation at a fair price. The wine list offers a small but well-chosen selection, also at "peace prices." The restaurant is rightly recommended by the Michelin Guide, and we will be dining there again soon.

On the day of our civil wedding we had dinner with our family at the Ziegler restaurant. The food, ambience and service were perfect. Everyone loved the taste. Thank you very much for that. Great recommendation.

We had a lovely evening today with delicious food and a great atmosphere. The menu consists primarily of meat and fish dishes, but even as a vegetarian, I've always found something delicious and varied here. This time I had the truffle linguine, which I highly recommend, and a Christmassy dessert. I still remember the original space and think the new decor, with its skillful mix of natural materials and industrial chic, is very well done, uncluttered, and very stylish. We enjoy eating there.

What has become of Café Ziegler is impressive. Z|H offers creative yet down-to-earth cuisine - totally delicious! The ambience is right, the service is calm, quick and simply very well organized. A highlight on the Bergstrasse. Price/performance fits! The photo shows a greeting from the kitchen.

Great restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere

This was our second time at Restaurant Ziegler and we will probably eat here more often. Why? Because it's an amazing experience. The cuisine is amazing, the ambience is simply beautiful and the service leaves nothing to be desired. If you don't just see eating as food, but as a "holistic experience", you've come to the right place. Unfortunately I can only give it five stars.

Thank you Hahn family for a great evening. The duck was perfectly cooked and crispy, the saddle of venison was as pink as it should be, first-class quality tartare with caviar and the chicken liver with lamb's lettuce was amazing. As always, top service, friendly and accommodating. Strong 5 stars! The next visits have already been booked. See you soon 🙋🏻‍♂️

We visited the Ziegler restaurant on the occasion of my birthday. I chose a dish that promised lightness and freshness in its description: “summer cuisine”. However, what I was served exceeded my expectations - and matched the door sign on the kitchen: "Creative Room". The tuna that was the focus of this dish was of impeccable quality. Fried to perfection, it revealed a juicy texture. Light roasted aromas on the outside gave the fish a delicate note. Every bite was a delight. It was accompanied by seasonal vegetables, crispy toasted bread and salad. A delicious vinaigrette tied the various elements of the dish together. Particularly noteworthy was the creative use of fresh herbs and flowers. The presentation was a feast for the eyes - the dish almost looked like a painting, with every splash of color carefully placed. The service was impeccable and contributed to a thoroughly successful evening. We were cared for unobtrusively and yet attentively.

We were impressed by the Ziegler restaurant! The asparagus soup was excellent and the salad plate was fresh and crunchy. We would particularly like to highlight the onion roast and the beef fillet – both prepared to perfection and of first-class quality. The prices are absolutely reasonable for this high quality and the wine was also extremely tasty. Even though it took almost an hour from entering the restaurant to having the amuse bouche, the enjoyment was hardly dampened. We can absolutely recommend Restaurant Ziegler and would be happy to come back!

We (couple 30 and 40 years old) were there on June 6th. a guest at Restaurant Ziegler for the first time. As a starter we had the salad and the tuna tataki. The tuna was a firework of acidity, spiciness and umami. The salad dressing was excellent. For the main course we had the summer dish (tuna + feta + salad) and the lamb. The lamb was outstanding. Cooked to perfection and perfectly balanced in terms of taste. The tuna steak did what it promised: summer freshness. For dessert, my partner treated herself to the strawberry cup. Here too, the interaction of yoghurt ice cream, mascarpone and strawberries was very harmonious and tasteful. In summary, it was an excellent evening, the chef knows his craft and the prices for the food are justified and fair. You get a lot of performance for your money. Many thanks to the team at Restaurant Ziegler. We will be back!

It was just great. Went to Ziegler for the first time and our expectations were exceeded.

Have been here several times, including last Friday. The four of us invited good guests here on the occasion of a 75th birthday. Since it is wild garlic season, there were 2x beef fillet with wild garlic, 1x lamb with wild garlic and 1x onion roast Everything was delicious and prepared with love. Our guests were very satisfied with the food and the ambience of the restaurant. You can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

Finally a restaurant where everything is just perfect! I wish I could give more than just 5 stars, because in my opinion this restaurant more than deserves it! The ambience is stylish, modern and pleasantly furnished. The service is super pleasant, you will receive very good advice, service and friendly treatment during your visit. The food is simply fantastic, what the chef conjures up here is truly a feast for the eyes and simply delicious. Each dish is prepared with love and the best products/ingredients and served on the plate like a painting. Price/performance ratio is more than fair. People simply enjoy going here. Tasteful ambience, attentive and friendly service and delicious food - absolutely top. A real gastronomic highlight on Bergstrasse.

It was a big, round birthday party. Pleasant guest room in the roundabout with very pleasant lighting. The service was excellent, once again great praise for the attention and speed. The food was served on platters and everyone could help themselves. There was plenty of everything. I had a vegetarian dish, which was served separately, it was tasty and consisted of homemade filled pasta pockets. There were vegetables and broccoli as a side dish. As a starter a lamb's lettuce and dessert a beautifully decorated ice cream plate with 3 large ice cream balls.

Wonderful food. Menu with pumpkin cream soup, game goulash and apple strudel with walnut ice cream... to kneel down on. We also had porcini mushroom risotto with salmon... Best cuisine!! We will be back.

Heute haben wir das Mittagsmenü ausprobiert. Die Atmosphäre ist wirklich toll, und das Essen erst recht !! Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Erneuerung ist zu 100% gelungen. Wir waren zu sechst und hatten einen rund um tollen Abend im neuen Restaurant Ziegler. Weiter so!

Tolle Karte, gutes Essen, hohe Qualität, sehr schönes Ambiente, hervorragender Service.

Die Speisekarte sieht auf den ersten Blick eher gewöhnlich, gut-bürgerlich aus aber die Speisen waren von hoher Qualität, sehr gut zubereitet und sehr reichhaltig. Wir waren hoch zufrieden und kommen garantiert wieder. Unbedingt reservieren. Wir wünschen weiterhin viel Erfolg und hoffen, dass ihr das Niveau halten könnt.

Essen war sehr gut, Personal äusserst freundlich. Fast perfekt also. Gibt es aber ein kleines ABER, das ist die Lautstärke. Man muss sich fast schon anschreien, wenn das Lokal gut besucht ist, um etwas zu verstehen. Da muss dringend was gemacht werden. Ohne dieses kleine Manko klare 5 Sterne.

Der Umbau ist super gelungen und wir haben heute die Konfirmation unseres Sohnes dort gefeiert. Das Essen war der Hammer, angefangen mit "Zieglers Antipasti" über leckeren Salat bis hin zu den Ochsenbäckchen, Rinderfilets und Schnitzeln mit Beilagen. Anschließend Früchtebecher mit drei verschiedenen Eissorten. Wir waren alle begeistert. Sehr zu empfehlen und unser neues Lieblingslokal.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Gemütliche Einrichtung, nettes Personal. Essen war sehr lecker!!! Den Kindern hat es auch super geschmeckt. Für Hohensachen ein absoluter Gewinn!!! Wir kommen wieder!

Wir waren heute zu viert nach Neueröffnung und für uns das erste Mal im Ziegler. Es war sehr lecker und alle Gänge liebevoll und ansprechend präsentiert. Trotz regen Betrieb war der Service aufmerksam, immer freundlich und ansprechbar. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Angefangen mit dem Gruß aus der Küche, hatten wir 4 unterschiedliche Vorspeisen, u.a. das Vitello Tonnato, die Indische Currysuppe. Als Hauptgang den Schwäbischen Zwiebelrostbraten, den Hauptgang der Abendkarte Rinder-Filet mit Kalbsbaeckchen, Fächerkartoffeln, versch. Gemüse, Spargel, Jus....alles einfach lecker. Leider haben wir diesmal keine Fotos gemacht....doof....haben uns nicht getraut, Holen wir nach beim nächsten Mal 👍

Waren das erste Mal nach der Renovierung zum Essen im Zieglers. Sowohl das neue Interieur als auch die neue Speisekarte haben nicht enttäuscht. Das Fleisch war von hoher Qualität und die Zubereitung hervorragend. Die Preise waren angemessen und die Auswahl an Weinen war gut. Ich freue mich auf die nächsten Besuche.
