So I had the grill plate for €28 and I have to say the meat was very well done and the fried potatoes were fried differently, sometimes too brown, the only thing that really tasted good was the salad, the service was alone, you had to go to the front to pay so the place is done for me

Were in Zanzibar for the first time today. It was the first and last time. The disappointment was great because we had only heard good things about the bar. The first thing was that they didn't have all the drinks. I wanted a peach nectar and said we didn't have any more. Ok, it can happen. Then we wanted to have a leisurely cocktail. My husband ordered a mojito and I ordered a sex on the note. After a few minutes the waiter came and said they were out of cane sugar. Therefore, 3 other cocktails on the menu could not be ordered. Where is there actually such a thing that a bar doesn't feel its supplies? For dinner we ordered a burger and a lasagna. The burger was super tasty My lasagna was just terrible. A total disaster in terms of taste. It's better to go somewhere else

Were here with several people and children. Nice staff, a bit slow at the beginning, but then it worked. The food was good to very good and we also liked the ambience. The brooding duck in the flowerpot was the highlight for the children. We liked it.

After 20 minutes we still didn't get a menu, we left. Apparently the house is suffering from an extreme lack of staff. It's a shame, we actually like going there.

Good food and the environment by the water is nice, especially on the terrace. If you were lucky, you could get a spot and enjoy the sun. The only thing that is a little annoying are all the pigeons that have also defecated all over the parapet of the terrace. Maybe it was a coincidence, but on the holiday May 1st. Having just one operation is clearly not enough. Therefore everything took significantly longer and the drinks came with the meal and not before. Cashless payment was not possible, unfortunately it seems to be normal here. In short, a visit is worth it

We came here spontaneously on a Sunday afternoon to order something warm to eat. Even without a reservation we were lucky and had a good selection of tables. A young lady seated us and brought us the cards. After a moment's consideration, the choice went to the schnitzel with rösti, which was also gratinated. The order was taken and everything came as requested. Once again, respect to the lady who managed the service all by herself during our stay. She was busy but well organized. She even handled somewhat informative guests skillfully. We'd love to come back.

I was really looking forward to a delicious Jägerschnitzel. I got a frozen schnitzel with a ready-made sauce from the bucket. Not recommended as a restaurant. Every snack is better.

I have rarely eaten such a delicious Zurich schnitzel with mushrooms in a cream sauce...😋 As we know, tastes are different, mine was 100% perfect...👍 my wife also found the veal schnitzel tasty, and we were served quickly and friendly...🙂 we will go there again.

Today on offer 8 dishes for €15 each. We recommend. Had 2 dishes, tasty and sufficient portion 😋. As a surprise, a dessert - jelly 😊

Almost empty restaurant, lunchtime was over, it was not possible to get a suitable table, "everything was reserved, there could still be guests." Very impolite.

Not so great the breakfast buffet, overpriced without coffee. If you eat slowly, there will be no more dessert, even though you are still within the time limit. I no longer need it in this form. Everything was too crowded at the buffet, you felt like you were at war, the queue was horrible. Then there was hardly anything left when it was finally my turn. I really don't need it. CONCLUSION: Never again

Delicious food in a nice atmosphere.......were there for lunch....the lunch prices are cheap.....unfortunately there was only one service, which is why it took a while.

We were there for breakfast. Service was non-existent, we were there for about 2 hours because we were asked once for drinks and that was it. Plates weren't even cleared away at that time. The buffet costs €17.50 but the selection wasn't great. No homemade salads or desserts.

We were there for the second time. once here and we immediately felt very comfortable in the cozy interior. The waitresses were very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, plentiful and very attractively decorated. We will definitely come back again!!!!

Delicious food Texas Schnizel appropriately spicy. There were mistakes regarding dishes and beer towards other people. It was not possible to pay by card, only cash.

Das Essen ist für mich immer gut, aber... es gibt nur noch einen crossa...nicht gross oder klein. Allerdings ist es der Preis vom großen Crossa und die Verpackung vom kleinen Crossa...das hat mich heute echt enttäuscht 🤷

Vor 20 Jahren wirklich ein toller Ort zum Essen,Feiern und weiterempfehlen.... Habe heute leider festgestellt, dass in den letzten 20 Jahren auch kein Cent mehr in den Laden investiert wurde. Die beiden Service Mitarbeiterinnnen sehr nett, leider dauerte das Essen für gerade mal 3 besetzte Tische dann doch ziemlich lange,war aber sehr gut. Ein Restaurant in dem man heutzutage nur Bar bezahlen kann ......hm...schade das der Eigentümer nicht gewillt ist hier zu investieren. Gleiches gilt für die Toiletten und das gesamte Ambiente. Hier ist die Zeit stehen geblieben. Schade...

Das Preis Leistung Verhältnis ist sehr gut, waren zum Mittagstisch da. Trotz vollem Restaurant keine Wartezeit, die Bedienung freundlich und nett.

Nicht schmackhafte Minibratwürste aufn Steakteller? Rumpsteak komplett durchgebraten, Fleisch aber zart. Schweinesteak trocken. Putensteak, Pommes + Salat sehr lecker. Das Ambiente hat mich sehr an Kantine erinnert...

Ein Restaurant in schöner Lage am Ratsteich. Die Bedienung war zum Zeitpunkt meines Besuches alleine und hatte viel zu tun, war trotzdem sehr freundlich. Mobiliar und Speisekarte sind vom äusseren her etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es gibt eine schöne Aussenterasse wo man bei schönem Wetter sitzen kann. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Portionen dem Preis angemessen. Es gibt eine grosse Auswahl an Speisen, auch vegetarisch und vegan. Es ich vermisst habe war die Getränkekarte. Da muss man extra fragen, was es gibt. Kostenlos parken kann man auf dem Hammerstein-Parkplatz oder gegen Gebühr an der Strasse vor dem Haus. Das Frühstücksbufett am Samstag und Sonntag habe ich bisher nicht ausprobiert, daher kann ich dazu leider nichts sagen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Nettes Restaurant mit einer Terrasse direkt am Ratsteich. Sehr nette Bedienung, Essen war gut und reichlich. Auch der Cappuccino am Nachmittag war lecker.

Burger 🍔 sind klasse, hatte den Black Angus Burger. Echt super und die nette Bedienung war für einen Spaß zu haben.

Das Essen war gut, der Service freundlich und nett. Das hier nur Bargeld genommen wird ist heutzutage schon verwunderlich.

Leider wurde nicht oft nachgefüllt, Alles sehr eng, und es war ein schreckliches Gedränge. Nach Corona sollte man einmal überdenken, ob das Buffet nicht anders aufgebaut werden könnte. Bedienung komplett überfordert und dementsprechend eher unfreundlich. Leider hat sich hier sehr viel zum Negativen geändert. Werde nicht wieder hingehen. Es gibt ja noch andere Restaurants.

Wir waren am 08.08.23 in der Zansibar zum Mittagessen draussen an der Tür stand schon das Schild Leber 15Euro ,, Essen war gut aber als es ans bezahlen ging wurden uns 18.90 Euro pro Gericht angezogen , was wir beanstattet haben die Bedienung war sehr unfreundlich und sagte nur Tja da können wir nichts machen die Geschäftsleitung wäre nicht da , auch das beide Bedienungen Kaugummi kauend die Gäste bedienten fanden wir nicht hinnehmbar ,, wir sind lanjährige Gäste waren immer zufrieden aber diesmal ging alles schief ,, wir werden uns ein anderes Lokal suchen Schade , das Essen war wirklich gut ..................................

Erst mal kommen wir nicht wieder. Wir haben es seit Dezember 3x versucht und es wurde immer schlechter. Schlechter Service, ein Essen kam, als alle anderen schon fertig waren. Das Schnitzel wurde einheitlich von fünf unserer Gäste als Blamage bezeichnet. Es war viel zu dick und von schlechter Qualität. Das Fleisch vom Hamburger war aber das Schlechteste. Nachtisch gibt es so gut wie gar nicht, nur zwei Sorten Eis oder TK Kuchen. Zwei Sterne für die halbe Ente, die leider nicht mehr auf der Karte ist und das Gulasch, beides war gut. Das Schild, keine Kartenzahlung, welches angeblich draußen angebracht sein soll, haben wir mit 8 Leuten gesucht und nicht gefunden.

Essen war mehrfach gut. Der Service mit einer Person nicht ausreichend.

Dieses Restaurant ist super beim Essen und den Preisen. Die Seeterrasse ist toll und im Sommer gut besucht. Drinnen alte Möbel und ein schiefer Fußboden, aber das hat Charme. Sehr nette Bedienung, der Burger war der beste, den ich je gegessen habe!

Ich war das erste mal dort, wir saßen draußen. Die Tauben störten ein wenig, ansonsten sehr schön dort am Wasser. Das Essen war gut, die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich. Preis-Leistung gut. Ein Jahr später... Das Essen war wieder gut. In der heutigen Zeit ist es unmöglich das man dort nur mit Bargeld bezahlen kann.

An einem Mittwoch Abend drinnen gesessen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und die Wartezeiten angemessen. Die beiden gewählten „Vorspeisen“: Champignons und Wrap waren eher vollwertige Portionen, schön angerichtet und schmackhaft.

Kleiner Geheimtipp in Uelzen. In unmittelbarer Nähe zum Stadtzentrum mit Aussenterrasse zum Ratsteich findet man eine große Anzahl gutbürgerlicher Küche, allerdings keine afrikanischen Gerichte, wie der Name vermuten lässt.

Die Lage des Restaurants ist gut. Schön am Ratsteich gelegen mit Außenterrasse. Der Service bemüht und freundlich. Aber eben nicht überzeugend. Was das Zanzibar ausmacht kann ich nach wie vor nicht sagen. Was sind die „exotisch-afrikanischen“ Akzente, die der Name impliziert. Weder entsprechende Speisen noch Getränke fanden sich in ausreichender Auswahl auf der Karte. Die Küche ist eher „gutbürgerlicher“ Durchschnitt aber eben auch nichts Besonderes oder herausragen Gutes. Und der afrikanische Akzent war die Deko. Aber das passte irgendwie nicht.

Essen war gut, bedienung flott, aber die Überraschung kam beim Bezahlen. Wir akzeptieren nur Bargeld. Kein EC oder Kreditkartenzahlungen möglich. Kein hinweiss an der Eingang oder am Speisekarte. Das erwartet mann im Schnellimbiss aber im Speiserestaurant im Jahr 2022 ???. Dafur nur befriedigend.
