My husband and I were at your New Year's Eve kitchen party yesterday. We were completely satisfied 👍🏻 Your kitchen team and service team mastered it fantastically. The food was delicious. We'll be back. All the best to you and continued success.

We were there on December 20th. at Villa Lacus and enjoyed a whole goose there. It was carved at the table and served with delicious side dishes. We are often guests and were once again treated magnificently. It was a fantastic experience. It's nice that there is such a wonderful restaurant. Keep it up and see you next year. The staff is always super friendly, always has a smile for everyone and are extremely attentive. The food is simply fantastic. To date I haven't found anything that wasn't absolutely excellent. Fish, meat, dessert... Everything is simply delicious and really exceptionally high quality. I look forward to the villa every time!

The food was really excellent, the service was very attentive and friendly at all times. Scampi, fish and rice patties were the best part of the day for me. A number of very tasty vegetarian dishes were also served. Conclusion: Definitely highly recommended.

We had our Christmas party at Villa Lacus. Everything went smoothly and uncomplicated in advance and our wishes were taken into account. Everything went great on site, the mulled wine reception with delicious mulled wine and then we came to the tables, which were beautifully set and decorated and the order was placed quickly. The staff was very friendly and attentive throughout the evening. The food came at the same time and everything came relatively quickly for the 40 people. Everything tasted really good and was beautifully prepared. The pinsa was very crispy and tasty. The Scaloppine was very tender, good meat and great sauce. But the portion could have been a little larger, there were a bit few potatoes. The dessert was also delicious, I just didn't need chocolate ice cream with the cinnamon cream, but that's a matter of taste, I got a few extra fruits because there was only cinnamon panna cotta with berries on the menu and not chocolate ice cream. So very nice too. Would thoroughly recommend Villa Lacus, we were all very impressed and found the food very good. The selection of drinks is also good, many wines, including non-alcoholic ones.

Great view. There is a pleasant atmosphere in the hall. Delicious food. Very different menu. The staff is very polite. There is a toilet. And a place to walk. There are also tables outside.

Were there for the company party. Great ambience at the swimming lake. Nice, stylish restaurant. Service 1A, friendly and competent employees. It was also pleasantly quiet and you could have a good conversation. Prices for quality are completely okay. Only criticism: The food, except for the pasta, came to the table at most lukewarm. That was a shame. Gladly again.

Our expectations were exceeded. After hearing a lot of positive things, we finally went there two weeks ago. All that remains to say is 5 stars, for food, service and ambience, which is more than justified. Despite the fact that the "hut was on fire", so every seat was occupied, including various smaller and larger groups (we were also there in a smaller group of 7 people), both the kitchen and the service were not lacking in professionalism. You were given very good advice and from starters to dessert, the food came to the table exactly as you wanted it. As a guest, you didn't notice anything about the full house and certainly the stress of service and kitchen. To quote my favorite motto here. "Everyone can do it", what was delivered here was sensational. Thank you for the great evening and the wonderful food. We'll definitely be back.

The food leaves nothing to be desired. The menu changes regularly and offers a wide selection, so there is something for everyone. Together with a cool drink, great ambience by the lake and excellent service, it was a perfect evening. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Beautiful landscape, delicious food

A nice place with a nice view of the lake and very friendly service. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here. The Aperol Sprizz was okay in terms of price, but tasted extremely watery. The color was right, the taste was missing. The starter, something with zucchini slices, for 16.50 euros was unimaginative and tasteless. No smart vinaigrette or crispy vegetables. A pity.

If you can sit on the terrace in summer with a view of the swimming lake, it's a blast. Parking no problem. There should be something on the menu to suit every taste. The dishes are extremely tasty and sometimes have new, interesting compositions, for example burratta with peaches and peppers: wonderfully refreshing and not so bulky. The service was good, attentive with a little chat and refilling of the glasses. The waiting time for the ordered food was absolutely good when the terrace was full. You should definitely make a reservation. There are what feels like 25 steps to the toilet - without an elevator - so you should know that.

The service is always excellent. It feels like we eat at Villa Lacus every day. People are always very attentive and like to remember what we drink or eat. The dishes are just as great, always creative, with always new ideas.

Very tasty olive oil as a gift from the house. The food tastes good, the ingredients are of good quality, but some dishes have slight weaknesses: Hollandaise sauce had the consistency of pudding/mayo and was also quite tasteless, the mass of ready-fried onions on the carpaccio perfectly complemented all the other finely seasoned components slay. The baked baguette tastes doughy, better quality could be offered here. Unlike the kitchen concept's own description, there is not really a selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Price-performance leaves room for improvement. Finally, we enjoyed an excellent buffet, with a wide variety of starters, freshly grilled food and dessert. So it’s still possible 😊 The waitresses are friendly and quite quick. BUT, and that leads to a miserable rating: If you explicitly ask for a non-alcoholic 0.0% beer and then order it and a regular non-alcoholic beer with the usual alcohol content is served in the glass - without pointing this out beforehand - this is bodily harm to the unborn child , and a dry alcoholic couldn't be enthusiastic either. Luckily the second one was served with a bottle and glass, so we noticed it!

Also thanks to Natascha for the active implementation of what was planned such as seating, pushing and setting tables etc... We always had very pleasant meetings and everything was organized for our benefit. We could always rely on Mr. Novotny and incorporate his valuable tips into our planning. The location with the lakeside terrace is of course the highlight. The food and the bar also left nothing to be desired. We had a dream wedding. The hotel rooms in the Hotel Seeblick on the upper floor and the breakfast were also very great. It would not have been possible without you. We say THANK YOU and would be happy to come back to enjoy your beautiful ambience and your warmth.

Perfect food, tasty wine, cozy atmosphere.

I had the pleasure of having lunch at Villa Lacus today. The ambience, service and quality of the food were excellent. The asparagus dishes are highly recommended.

Excellent food, refined, fresh ingredients and delicious. Very attentive service and the place by the lake is beautiful.

No matter whether it was fish or meat, dessert or starter, everything was fresh and very tasty. The staff is very friendly and accommodating but not intrusive. Dinner as a family is of course not cheap, but it is quality and you always have a good feeling in your stomach after the meal. Highly recommended and we are already looking forward to the next time!

Very nice restaurant with a beautiful terrace overlooking the lake. The service is great, I have rarely experienced it so well. The cocktails are perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The only negative point is the prices. The price level is comparable to the Mühlstein in Bensheim, but unfortunately the food is not of the same standard.

Whether outside on the beautiful terrace by the lake or inside in a cozy atmosphere: we like to come back to Villa Lacus again and again. The food is excellent, as is the friendly and attentive service. The menu offers something for everyone without being too large. All dishes are prepared with love and beautifully presented - the quality is commensurate with the price, so there's nothing to complain about. Definitely one of our absolute favorite restaurants in the area.

Uncanny creative surprise menus!

Very very good cuisine, excellent.

Very nice restaurant, great location right on the Lake. The food was always very good, BUT: At the end of April 2023 there was still a decent portion, since the beginning of May 2023 there has probably been a star chef (according to the waitress) who served exactly the same thing, but HALF and then at the same price!! I honestly had 2 potatoes (i.e. 4 halves), the schnitzel and only 3 (!) asparagus on my plate. At the same price…… I find that quite outrageous and I openly told the waitress that. I was shocked when the plate came and just thought to myself “that’s all?” Unfortunately, it didn’t fill me up either… “Back then” the portions were sufficient and tasty, now they are still tasty but unfortunately only children get enough of them… Pity. Especially now that everything is getting more expensive, I might have increased the prices by €2, but I would definitely have left the portions the same so that the guests would get full and get something for their money. Unfortunately, Villa Lacus does it the other way around. Because there is now a star chef in the kitchen, the portions have to shrink... So I won't be able to eat that quickly!

Not exactly cheap, but it's worth treating yourself to. Food really tasty, service great. Overall, highly recommended

Unfortunately, the team was apparently not prepared for a group of 25 people, despite the announcement. Tables still had to be moved, staff were overwhelmed but still tried hard. The orders were riddled with errors and were often incorrect. The food, when it came after 2 hours, was like something from two worlds. A few dishes looked delicious and appealing, others were so sober and simply slapped onto the plate that one could speak of two worlds, shared by chef and trainee? My food was so subpar that I lost my appetite despite the 2 hours. Same picture with the desserts. In relation to the prices on site, absolutely not recommended, especially if you are there in a group or you get the wrong dish. There are definitely better options locally.

We were there on December 27th, 2023 with a total of 10 people and had a fantastic evening. 4 course menu with one highlight after the next! The staff was super attentive... And at the end we had a drink at the bar with some dance music. The concept of the finest Italian cuisine with a bar evening afterwards is great! Keep it up... The next visit is already planned!

The restaurant was full and the staff remained attentive and friendly even in the most stressful times. Everyone (10 adults) enjoyed their chosen dish excellently, and even if it was a little more expensive - we would be happy to come back! Thank you!

Wir haben uns direkt beim ersten Besuch in die tolle Seeterrasse verliebt und uns somit dazu entschlossen unsere Hochzeit in der Villa Lacus zu feiern. Wir hatten eine so tolle Feier, es hat einfach alles perfekt gepasst. Der Service war aufmerksam & freundlich, das Küchenteam hat ein super leckeres Grillbuffet für uns zubereitet , die Location wurde liebevoll nach unseren Vorstellungen dekoriert. Alle unsere Gäste waren begeistert von der Feier. Ein besonderes Dankeschön an Natascha , welche die gesamte Planung gemacht hat. Wir hätten es uns nicht schöner vorstellen können ☺️

Ein Restaurant der gehobenen Klasse mit wirklich guten Essen. Nur waren die Sitzmöglichkeiten ein wenig eng bemessen.

Alles in allem ein Traum. Übersichtliche Karte. Top Qualität, besser kann ein Rumsteak nicht schmecken. Sehr nettes Personal. Ich komme wieder.

Super schönes Restaurant und sehr leckeres Essen

Wir haben im August in der Villa Lacus unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und waren super zufrieden. Im Vorhinein haben wir uns mehrmals zusammen gesetzt und alle Details besprochen, sodass unsere Wünsche und Vorstellungen alle erfüllt wurden. Vielen Dank an Tim und das gesamte Team. Ein ganz besonders großes Dankeschön an Natascha für deine wunderbare Koordination und Unterstützung, z.B. für das Eindecken der Tische nach vorherigen Absprache und all die Zeit, die du dir für uns genommen hast. 😊 Der Service war den ganzen Abend/Nacht spitze, das Essen war super lecker und die Auswahl riesig. Von unseren Gästen haben wir auch nur durchweg positives Feedback erhalten. Durch Euch hatten wir ein rundum perfektes Fest. Vielen Dank 😊

Haben in der Villa Lacus toll Hochzeit gefeiert! Eine sehr schöne Location und der Service und das Essen hervorragend!

Das Restaurant hat ein sehr schönes Ambiente, liegt direkt an einem Badesee in Bensheim und hat im oberen Stockwerk mehrere Hotelzimmer eines anderen Anbieters. Der Service ist gut aber bei starker Frequentierung meist am Wochenende muss man einige Zeit warten, da oft Veranstaltungen wie Hochzeit, Geburtstage hier gefeiert werden können. Die Getränke sowie die angebotenen Gerichte sind speziell individuell aber geschmackvoll. Die Preise sind im Verhältnis zu Portionen aber zu teuer.

Sehr leckeres Essen und top Ambiente. Das Restaurant ist direkt am Badesee und lädt zu einem traumhaften Essen mit Ausblick ein. Die Einrichtung innen und außen ist sehr modern. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und professionell. Auch bei einem Geschäftsessen kann man sich ohne Probleme auf Englisch unterhalten. Das Essen schmeckt super und es gibt einiges zur Auswahl. Parkplätze sind kein Problem, gibt es genug. Top 👌🏻

Essen war gut, die Tischreservierung hatten wir für den Außenbereich gebucht, bei Ankunft wurde uns gesagt, dass der Tisch im Restaurant reserviert wäre, daraufhin hat das Personal gesagt, wenn wir uns auf die Terrasse setzen ist der Tisch im Restaurant weg, ist verständlich, aber es kommt auf die Art und Weise an, wie es bei dem Gast rüberkommt, nach dem wir bezahlt haben und noch etwas sitzen geblieben sind, kam die Bedienung und räumte den Tisch ab, macht man nicht, gehört sich nicht!

Sehr schönes Ambiente, ansprechend! Speisekarte sehr gut, Essen (Salat mit Hühnchen) war sehr gut, preislich etwas zu überzogen aber sonst nichts auszusetzen. Service sehr gut, flink und sehr nett, Parkmöglichkeiten gut vorhanden. Mittagstisch wird angeboten

Super kompetentes, freundliches Servicepersonal. Das Essen war so, so lecker/ hat einen Stern verdient. Das Ambiente einfach romantisch und edel.

Top Location in tollem Ambiente. Wir sind Stammgäste und kommen immer gerne wieder. Tim, Natascha sowie das gesamte Team sind TOP.

Guter Service. Odenwälder Schnitzel mit Kochkäse und Kroketten. Portion größe vollkommen ausreichend (auf Bild sieht es weniger aus als es ist) Beilagen Salat gab es auch.

Das Lokal liegt an einem Badesee und hat sehr schöne Sitzplätze, drinnen wie draussen. Auch Parkplätze, alles wunderbar. Ich war auch vor längerer Zeit schon mal dort und zufrieden, aber an diesem Abend hat mir das Essen überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Gut, es war vorausgewählt (dienstliche Veranstaltung, grössere Gruppe) und ich hätte das von mir aus so gar nicht bestellt. Für meinen Geschmack viel zu viel Trüffel, selbst das Gemüse hat nach Trüffel geschmeckt. Das Saltimbocca kam laukalt an und war kalt, bis ich es aufgegessen hatte. Die Beilagen kamen nach und nach in kleinen Schüsseln für mehrere Personen, sodass man immer sehen musste, wie man was dazu bekommt. Das kann man besser machen. Ich würde nicht sagen, dass es da immer so ist, aber diesen Abend hat es für mich leider gar nicht gepasst. Schade.

Hier kommen wir immer gerne her. Ich feiere das Ambiente im Innenraum. Bei schönem Wetter sitzt man draußen auf der Terrasse am See super schön. Das Essen hat uns noch nie enttäuscht. Auch werden Sonderwünsche mit viel Wohlwollen entgegen genommen. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal!

Sehr lange Wartezeiten vom bestellen zum servieren ca. 70 min. Zu wenig Essen für den Preis aber meistens lecker. Schönes Ambiente und nettes Personal.

Ein tolles Local. Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Bedienung hat uns eine tolle Tages empfehlung ausgesprochen auf die wir direkt eingegeben sind. Meine Begleitungen haben ein Tomahawk Steak für zwei geteilt und es war mega lecker. Ich habe die Trüffel Tagliolini gegessen und diese waren ebenfalls hervorragend!! Zum Dessert gab es die Schoko Vanille Tarte die jetzt zu meinem liebling Desserts gehört.. einfach der hammer ! Das Ambiente ist der gemütlich und hat einen Atemberaubenden Ausblick auf den See. Wunderschön für Hochzeiten, Geburtstage oder sonstige Anlässe. Gehe immer wieder gerne in dieses wunderbare Lokal. Danke für den schönen Abend ☺️

Schönes Ambiente am See, freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen war auch gut, aber teilweise gewöhnungsbedürftige Geschmackskombinationen (Blattspinat mit Sellerie zu Fisch). Die Geschmackserlebnisse waren für die Preise nicht intensiv genug, aber dennoch solide. Wir gehen also nochmal hin!

Nach langer Zeit haben wir wieder die Villa Lacus besucht. Meine Wahrnehmung war eine leckere und sehr ansprechend angerichtete Küche. Die Pasta Gerichte waren mengenmäßig sehr üppig. Diverse Fleischgerichte ebenfalls. Ich selbst hatte den Oktopus - Da hätten es statt 2 gerne ein "Ärmchen" mehr sein dürfen! Ich habe etwas Salz vermisst - steht aber am Tisch und ich mag es gerne stärker gewürzt. Das Fällt also unter persönlichen Geschmack. Ich vergleich zu früher hat man spürbar an der Preisschraube gedreht. Das wäre fas i.O. wenn da nicht der Service wäre... ...der einfach nicht passt. Der Service wirkte auf mich sehr unnatürlich und angestrengt, gezwungen vornehm und dabei kühl. So als wolle man ein hohes Niveau in einem extravaganten Ambiete bieten - was aber nur gelingt wenn man natürlich sich selbst ist. Ein Lächeln wäre vielleicht nicht schlecht gewesen - auch Gäste sind nur Menschen. Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass man mir als Gast etwas mehr Zeit widmet in dem man mir zuhört was ich gerne möchte. Stattdessen huscht man schon wieder weiter obwohl der Gast noch garnicht seinen Getränkewunsch zu ende ausgeführt hat. (Klar, dass dann der Wein nicht zum Hauptgericht kommt... Ist ja nicht angekommen.) Und das obwohl joch garnicht einmal wirklich was los war... Fazit: Man strebt hier höherem Niveau entgegen und ruft bereits für den Mittagstisch oder diverse Vorspeisen rund 15-17€ auf. Pasta Gerichte in ähnlichem Niveau bei zugegeben üppiger Menge. Die Hauptgerichte aus Stall und Meer im Bereich 27-30€ sind wirklich gut. Jedoch schwebt der Service gefühlt 3 Ebenen über dem Gast, der sich wie ein Fremdkörper vorkommt. Der soll das aber Zahlen. Wir haben uns daher nicht wohl gefühlt und sind nicht bereit dafür und werden somit die Villa Lacus künftig nicht mehr in unsere Wahl einbeziehen.

Treffen an einem Samstag mit Freunden, wenn nicht gerade ein Handballspiel ist sind genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Sehr übersichtliche Karte, sehr gutes Essen mit frischen Zutaten mit Pfiff und Kreativität. Freundlicher und professioneller Service und echtes Wohlfehlambiente, Distelhaeuser Biere, sehr lecker, obwohl nicht vor der Haustüre und preislich eher oben angesiedelt stimmt hier alles-wir kommen gerne wieder - schön, dass es noch solche Locations gibt.

..… der keine Wünsche offen läßt! Bei unserem ersten Besuch in der Villa Lacus, Ende Januar, hat es uns so gut gefallen, dass wir gestern wieder da waren. Der erste gute Eindruck setzt sich fort und die Villa Lacus meint es „ernst“ in der Bensheimer Gastroszene. Wir waren insgesamt 5 Personen und wurden sehr herzlich von Ilenya zu unserem Tisch (-Nr. 63, direkt neben dem Kamin!) gebeten. Als Vorspeise haben wir die Kreation des Hauses bestellt und den gebratenen Oktopus in gepellter Paprika auf Burrata und leckerer Artischocke. Als Hauptgericht Sacchetti gefüllt mit Ricotta in Trüffelsauce mit frischen Trüffeln. Als Hauptspeise den Filetto di Branzino mit Tomate-Basilikum, Safranrisotto und Saisongemüse. Alles sehr frisch und lecker zubereitet. Die Art und Weise wie die Speisen präsentiert werden, verdient ein besonderes Lob. Hier werden die Gäste wie Gäste behandelt und Gastfreundschaft groß geschrieben! Gereicht würde dazu ein fruchtiger Lugana. Zum Dessert ein perfektes Sorbet. Und alles in einem sehr ausgewogenen Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Die Villa Lacus liegt übrigens direkt an einem Badesee und wir warten auf den Sommer. Denn der wird dort bestimmt perfekt!!!

Service war je nach Person top bis lieblos. Die Darbietung des Essens, hatte bei meinem Tagliolini all' Arabbiata Kantinenniveau. Tagliolini und schwups ein Schlag Calamari darüber. Liebevolles Anrichten Fehlanzeige. Nachtisch bestellen um 21:30 stiess zunächst auf "ob das noch geht". Für ein Restaurant bei dem man dann am Ende mit 60-70 EUR pro Person raus geht nicht okay.
