Wir können dieses Catering für Hochzeiten uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! Die Gespräche im Vorfeld waren super angenehm, unkompliziert und jederzeit auf Augenhöhe. Besonders toll fanden wir, dass auch eine schnelle Abstimmung über WhatsApp jederzeit möglich war – das hat die Planung enorm erleichtert. Die Auswahl des Buffets war perfekt auf unsere Wünsche abgestimmt und hat genau unseren Vorstellungen entsprochen. Auch auf Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten wurde ohne Probleme und mit großer Sorgfalt eingegangen. Zudem war alles wunderschön angerichtet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail präsentiert. Das Hochzeitsbuffet selbst war einfach herausragend – sowohl geschmacklich als auch optisch. Unsere Gäste waren durchweg begeistert und haben das Essen noch lange nach der Feier gelobt. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend in der Villa Lacus. Der Seeblick und die Terrasse sind traumhaft, alle Servicekräfte sind super aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die Weinempfehlung von Benny war absolut passend - vielen Dank nochmal dafür und auch an der Stelle Danke an Euer gesamtes Team an diesem Abend. Egal ob Vorspeise oder Hauptspeise es war einfach nur empfehlenswert und das Pistazientiramisu war mit das beste Dessert was ich je hatte. Wir haben davon sogar noch 2 mitgenommen. Alles in allem ein super schöner Abend, bester Service, ausgezeichnetes Essen und nichts zu mäkeln. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 11 Personen da, das Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut und der Service nett. Ich würde gerne 5 Sterne geben, allerdings mussten wir knapp 2 Stunden auf den Hauptgang warten. Es waren andere Tische mit nur 3-4 Personen nach uns da und haben ihr Essen viel früher bekommen. Da wünscht man sich vom Hause eine Aufmerksamkeit oder ähnliches für zwischendurch, denn der Hunger war dann schon fast verflogen. Und nett ist das auch nicht, alle anderen Tische vor einem zu bedienen obwohl man deutlich früher da war. Preise sich z.b. für ein Cordon Bleu mit 5 Stangen Spargel und 6 halben Spargelkartoffeln, ich glaube 33€ Kosten sind schon stramm. Eigentlich schade, da euer Personal bemüht war und das Essen sonst wirklich lecker war. 3-4 Sterne....

Sehr schöne Terasse, die Schnitzel aus der Tiefkühltruhe, das restliche Essen schlapp gewürzt. Mussten lange auf das Essen warten, weil das Küchenpersonal in Gesamtheit Pause gemacht hat. Distanzloses Servicepersonal am Tisch, das die Rollengrenzen der Vertrautheit überschreitet. Waren an Muttertag 2026 mit 9 Personen dort, gehen sicher kein zweites Mal dorthin. Wunderschöner Ort, der zum Verweilen einlädt, mit mäßigem Restaurantbetrieb.

Waren hier zum Abendessen und es war einfach nur eine Reise der Geschmacksknospen unvorstellbar gut und genial wir kommen wieder. Lachs war Butter zart und der octopus auch, der Spargel war ein Gedicht die Nudeln waren perfekt wann al dente war nicht verkocht das Gemüse war nicht zu weich. Also wenn sie sich einen Gefallen tun wollen und wollen mal wirklich eine gute Reise für ihre geschmacksknospen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auf jeden Fall es ist kein 0815 laden meine Empfehlung ist wenn man einen guten Platz möchte sollte man schon reservieren

Super schöne Lage und sehr leckeres Essen! Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, insbesondere Natascha und Karim sind uns positiv aufgefallen. Der Koch Gabriele macht auch hervorragende Arbeit. Wir kommen wieder!

SEHR FREUNDLICHER SERVICE! Das Essen liegt preislich etwas über dem Schnitt, aber noch im Rahmen. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Salat sollte nicht warm sein, ansonsten war das Essen gut.

Wir hatten einen phantastischen Abend in der Villa Lacus. Von der Begrüßung bis zum Dessert war alles perfekt. Das Essen war nicht nur optisch ein Highlight, sondern auch geschmacklich hervorragend - man schmeckt die frischen Zutaten und die Liebe zum Detail. Der Service war aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wer Wert auf hohe Qualität und ein tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis legt, ist in diesem Restaurant genau richtig.

Sooo ich war erneut hier,ich habe mich so sehr auf mein Steak 🥩 gefreut 🤩 Leider...... total trocken ,obwohl ich bescheid gegeben habe das ich medium den Haben möchte, der anderer Kellner war sehr freundlich...und hat es geändert,mein Teller mitgenommen und ...ob ich mein anderes mit ein wenig spucke bekommen habe, keine Ahnung 🤷

Wir waren Mitte Januar in der Villa Lacus in Bensheim zum Essen. Wir hatten uns zur Mittagszeit einen Tisch bestellt. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und bedient. Unser Tisch war sehr schön am Kamin gelegen. Der Eingangsbereich an der Bar war leider nicht so ansprechend. Wir wählten von der Mittags-Schnitzelkarte ein Wiener Schnitzel vom Schwein und vorweg Maronencremesuppe. Die Suppe war sehr lecker, aber die Schnitzel eine komplette Enttäuschung. Es wurden uns anscheinend vorgefertigte Fertigschnitzel serviert. Diese hatten eine undefinierbare Panierung, die regelrecht angewalzt wirkte und auch keinen rechten Geschmack hatte. Mit Schnitzel Wiener Art hatten diese Schnitzel absolut nichts gemeinsam. In einem Restaurant mit gehobenem Anspruch, wie der Villa Lacus, kann man wohl ein frischgemachtes Wiener Schnitzel erwarten. Beim Verlassen des Restaurant standen im Eingangsbereich noch Warmhalte-Wannen für das Mittagessen einer Seminargruppe. Die Mittagspause dieser Gruppe wahr anscheinend schon beendet, aber das restliche Essen trocknete in den Wannen vor sich hin.

Top Service super schnelle Reaktion beim nachbestellen von Kleinigkeiten ( Brot, Olivenöl etc. ) Essen perfekt (obwohl ich verwöhnt bin )

Der Service an Weihnachten 2025 war hervorragend, freundlich und aufmerksam, das Essen fantastisch. Aber: Vier Personen am Tisch hatten eine kalte Suppe bekommen. Da fragt man sich, wie so etwas in der Küche passieren kann. Die Suppe wurde dann natürlich anstandslos zurückgenommen und erwärmt. Auf die Hauptspeise haben wir leider grenzwertig lange warten müssen. Der Nachtisch ging aufs Haus als Entschuldigung für die kalte Suppe. Dennoch insgesamt nur drei Sterne. Ein Stern Abzug, weil wir so lange warten mussten. Ein Besuch zum Mittagessen darf einfach keine drei Stunden dauern. Und ein weiterer Stern Abzug für die kalte Suppe. Bei 10,90 Euro für eine "einfache" Rinderbouillon darf das schlichtweg nicht passieren.

Es war ein rundum gelungener Abend. Das Ambiente liebevoll geschmückt und dekoriert. Das Essen ist gehobene Küche und es war ein Genuss. Das Personal immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr zu empfehlen. Es lohnt sich.

Wir waren an einem Dienstagabend mit einem Geschäftspartner zum Abendessen dort; es war nicht viel los. Die Kellner waren überaus freundlich und bemüht, uns als Gäste zu verwöhnen. Das Essen war überraschend gut, mit viel frischem Gemüse usw. Das Vitello tonnato war köstlich und wurde mit reichlich Thunfischsauce serviert. Das Rumpsteak war wunderbar gewürzt, perfekt gebraten und hatte die ideale Größe. Es wurde mit überraschend frischem Gemüse serviert. Zum Nachtisch gab es drei Eissorten mit Wodka – sehr lecker. Dieses Restaurant ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Villa Lacus took care of the catering for our wedding. From the moment we enquired, we received a warm and competent welcome. The tasting was a real experience – I'm still raving about it, even though it was nine months ago 😅. Coordinating the menu selection was very straightforward; we received great suggestions and were then given free rein to customize it, resulting in a truly successful buffet. All of our special allergy requests were no problem either – there was a solution for everything, and the menus were even coordinated with us regarding the appropriate labeling. At the wedding itself, everyone couldn't stop raving about it. The food not only looked amazing, but also tasted amazing. All of our guests, including the chefs 😉, were absolutely thrilled – especially the vegan mushroom cream sauce was the highlight of the evening 😅. Thanks to the entire team at Villa Lacus for the thoroughly successful catering on our big day.

We've visited this lovely restaurant many times and have always been very impressed. Whether you're just looking for a drink later in the evening or a bite to eat at lunch, the service is always outstanding and you feel welcome. The staff is friendly, very attentive, and tries to fulfill all your wishes. The food is of good to very good quality, definitely above standard. We really enjoy going there.

We wanted to have a quick drink this afternoon. The restaurant was serving guests. I asked if we could have a drink, and the first answer I got was that the tables were already set. It didn't look like it, though. Then a colleague who spoke better German came over and said everything was already booked. Apparently, you earn enough if you turn away guests like that.

If you're looking for something special in the area, this is the place for you! The ambiance and the view of the lake, combined with delicious food and excellent service, are fantastic! We all enjoyed our meal immensely, and the staff is happy to accommodate special requests. A definite recommendation! The pictures speak for themselves!

Unfortunately, very disappointing! Two of the three meals were heavily salted – too much for us. The third, a schnitzel, was "dried out" to a crisp in the fryer, so that practically no meat could be tasted or seen. The daily special was a complete disaster: two small pieces of sole with mashed potatoes (oversalted) for €40!!! That completely blew our minds! It would have been better to ask the price beforehand. When we criticized the food for being too salty and therefore leaving it behind, there wasn't even an apology! €130 for three people was clearly too much!

Great restaurant – a top-rated destination for a special culinary experience! Super friendly service and a fantastic view of the lake! All in all, a perfect evening! A big shout-out to the craftsmen who are currently painting the villa's facade in new colors! Great color scheme 👍

The food was absolutely fantastic. Whether it was tuna tartare, schnitzel, mushroom cream sauce, fries, dorado, Iberico fillet, porcini mushroom risotto, etc. Everything is simply recommended. It was a fantastic wedding day.

We sat here on the terrace on a warm summer evening. The view was fabulous and the food and drinks were also excellent. Please note that this is a high-priced restaurant. I'm not giving it 5 stars because, unfortunately, part of our order went missing. That can happen, and upon request, the problem was resolved. However, this is a restaurant with no designated smoking area on the terrace. So, we were surrounded by cigarette smoke while eating, which was very disturbing to us and our neighbors.

Highly recommended👌 Flexibility regarding intolerances is also not a problem.

The handy menu offers a fine, seasonal selection that leaves nothing to be desired. The wine list is also well-stocked. Always worth a visit.

Have been there several times and have always been satisfied. Excellent food and very very good service. Varied menu with seasonal dishes. Always happy to come.

Ambiance is good, harmoniously furnished, rather inconspicuous from the outside. Unfortunately I have to complain about the food, The components of various dishes simply don't fit together. The symbiosis is simply missing, the individual components themselves are great. Thank you and definitely next time!

We had catering from the Villa Lacus team for our granddaughter's baptism. The organization was perfect, the food was extremely tasty and we enjoyed the good service. We can recommend it without reservation.

We were a large group - everyone was more than happy with their food and the service didn't mix up or forget anything. The beautiful terrace rounded off the evening. I personally can recommend all the schnitzel dishes and the side salad was great :) In my opinion, as someone who is not affected, accessibility is not a given. But I could be wrong if there is a toilet somewhere else.

Everything went great for my half-year-old birthday

We were there for dinner on Saturday April 12th, 2025 with a larger group, drinks were picked up quickly and brought to the table, we were pointed out a menu recommendation from the kitchen, as a starter cream of asparagus soup, a cheese, and as a main course either lamb or veal chop with asparagus & potatoes, when others got their soup we asked about our soup, in response we were told that we had to order it separately from the menu, we were at We assumed from a menu that it consisted of several courses and therefore we didn't have to order/pay extra.....ok, so we thought wrongly and we ordered the soup separately, which was then delivered quickly, unfortunately there were no pieces of asparagus in the asparagus cream soup, for almost 12 euros we were a bit disappointed, there was nothing to complain about in terms of taste. Then the main course was brought to the table, to my wife's surprise the lamb was breaded, a note when ordering would have been nice because then we would have changed the order, the veal cutlet we ordered was really good, but the hopefully fresh asparagus was distributed in microscopically small pieces on the plate in a really small number, and, interestingly, no spikes....plus the food was partly lukewarm, which of course cooled down even faster because the plates weren't preheated. At the end we each ordered a coffee and the drama continued, one cup was full and the other was half full...but we had already resigned ourselves to the fact that the evening wasn't going to be the best in terms of cuisine...when we pointed out the plates that hadn't been preheated at the end, there was no reaction from the service staff, so we didn't address the other points anymore. The service staff were attentive and friendly, but sometimes they couldn't understand them due to their lack of knowledge of German. Overall, the main courses cost 44 or 42 euros, which for us absolutely does not correspond to the quality of the food. Overall, we were disappointed; we don't think the higher prices are justified.

Despite no reservation, we were given a seat straight away. Super tasty, rich food! Highly recommended!

We reserved a table for our wedding anniversary based on a recommendation. With the request to create some romantic atmosphere. This was also promised to us, but we had a normal table with no special features. The ambience is attractive and relatively clean. The waiter was at the table quickly and asked several times what was right. The food came quickly, bread was served as a starter which was really tasty. Unfortunately, the salad tasted musty and I found several pieces that looked moldy to me. I told the waiter he acknowledged it, that was it. In a relatively high-priced restaurant, at least an aperitif or something similar should be offered. At 50 euros per person you could expect more. But the main course was absolutely fine. The dessert was solid, very nicely presented but nothing really special. We would still come back.

Absolutely to be recommended! My partner and I ate the fried rock octupus and the rump steak, we were still raving about it after the meal and the dessert was also second to none, the shortcrust cake was juicy until the end without becoming dry. It's definitely worth a visit and the price is definitely reasonable for the service and the very good food.

This is a restaurant with a nice atmosphere located near the hotel. I had schnitzel here and it was okay. For those who are familiar with Korean or Japanese style pork cutlet, schnitzel is a familiar yet somewhat lacking dish. You can choose schnitzel served with three types of different sauces. I had the one with German cheese and it was delicious. The portion size is huge, so unless you are an adult male, it will be too much to eat. The salad sauce that came with it was also very good.

Very good restaurant, not exactly cheap, but the food is very good. Large portions compared to other restaurants in the price range. Very nice and attentive staff. Went to Dortmund with 17 people and ate a la carte. The food arrived almost at the same time. Toilets very clean, but only accessible via stairs. There is enough parking space in front of the restaurant.

We were there on December 20th. at Villa Lacus and enjoyed a whole goose there. It was carved at the table and served with delicious side dishes. We are often guests and were once again treated magnificently. It was a fantastic experience. It's nice that there is such a wonderful restaurant. Keep it up and see you next year. The staff is always super friendly, always has a smile for everyone and are extremely attentive. The food is simply fantastic. To date I haven't found anything that wasn't absolutely excellent. Fish, meat, dessert... Everything is simply delicious and really exceptionally high quality. I look forward to the villa every time!

The food was really excellent, the service was very attentive and friendly at all times. Scampi, fish and rice patties were the best part of the day for me. A number of very tasty vegetarian dishes were also served. Conclusion: Definitely highly recommended.

We had our Christmas party at Villa Lacus. Everything went smoothly and uncomplicated in advance and our wishes were taken into account. Everything went great on site, the mulled wine reception with delicious mulled wine and then we came to the tables, which were beautifully set and decorated and the order was placed quickly. The staff was very friendly and attentive throughout the evening. The food came at the same time and everything came relatively quickly for the 40 people. Everything tasted really good and was beautifully prepared. The pinsa was very crispy and tasty. The Scaloppine was very tender, good meat and great sauce. But the portion could have been a little larger, there were a bit few potatoes. The dessert was also delicious, I just didn't need chocolate ice cream with the cinnamon cream, but that's a matter of taste, I got a few extra fruits because there was only cinnamon panna cotta with berries on the menu and not chocolate ice cream. So very nice too. Would thoroughly recommend Villa Lacus, we were all very impressed and found the food very good. The selection of drinks is also good, many wines, including non-alcoholic ones.

Were there for the company party. Great ambience at the swimming lake. Nice, stylish restaurant. Service 1A, friendly and competent employees. It was also pleasantly quiet and you could have a good conversation. Prices for quality are completely okay. Only criticism: The food, except for the pasta, came to the table at most lukewarm. Our expectations were exceeded. After hearing a lot of positive things, we finally went there two weeks ago. All that remains to say is 5 stars, for food, service and ambience, which is more than justified. You were given very good advice and from starters to dessert, the food came to the table exactly as you wanted it.
