Drinking drinks on the terrace is not allowed here, our wives and children were sent out straight away. Absolutely arrogant, never again. Luckily, the Corona period is over again, so you can get snooty again

We celebrated our birthday there, it was just great, the food, the ambience and the staff were very accommodating. In short, pure relaxation and a team is highly recommended. Thank you very much for that.

A pretty good restaurant with a nice view of Lake Kinzigsee. The interior is special and the food is good. The children can also go to the playground at Kinzigsee while they eat. The service is also great. By the way, I recommend a place outside.

One of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten in terms of craftsmanship and taste. I don't understand how other people can give the food a good rating here. But of course it's all a matter of taste. We were able to order quickly, but the service staff almost had to pay for it. My conclusion: The ambience is good but eating here... Nope, never again.

Beautiful location with a view of the adjacent seaside resort with sunbathing lawn from the large terrace. The food was more or less standard and nothing special. The selection is quite large and varied. However, service left something to be desired during our visit on an early Saturday evening. It was almost impossible to make eye contact with the waiters in order to order something. You always had to actively speak to someone when walking past. With more attentive staff, the restaurant could leave a much better impression.

Located directly on Lake Kinzig in Langenselbold. Had a lovely evening meal on the terrace. The tables are spaced really well apart, which is very pleasant. The lasagne and salad were good, the rosé wine could have been a little better 😉

Unmotivated waiters, dirty tablecloths, sticky, oily menage (vinegar oil salt pepper). As a guest you don't feel welcome there. The salad with salmon is a disgrace. For €14.50 a bit of iceberg lettuce, three slices of cucumber, two wedges of tomato, a quarter of an onion, a few crumbs of fried salmon. The pizza bread we ordered was delicious, but there was no chance of getting full and happy. When the criticism is addressed, the waiter mumbles something incomprehensible into his beard. Disappointing!!!

Been here regularly for more than three years now and always more than satisfied! Villa Aurora is a beautiful setting with a great view of Lake Kinzigsee. The food tastes very tasty and is always beautifully presented. The waitresses are always in a good mood and laugh a lot. Now we're on a first-name basis with everyone and it's just a nice tradition to eat here. I can only recommend this restaurant! Everything tastes delicious here, whether classic Italian cuisine or German specialties such as schnitzels and salads. The selection is large and the prices are very fair. The portions leave you full and happy. In addition, waiting times are short here, the service is quick and you wait a maximum of 15 to 20 minutes with 4 people for the food. A big compliment to the Jägerschnitzel and the big guy! + a tiramisu 😁 Keep it up!!!

Very nice location right on Lake Kinzig, with a view of the lake from the terrace. Unfortunately the restaurant is past its best. Service wasn't very friendly, except for one waiter, they didn't have a smile on their faces. Food was okay, but nothing special. It's nice because of the terrace and the view.

I was there today with my granddaughter, the problem for a waitress was that there was nothing free outside with a view of the lake, which is why we Yemen, a waitress said there were free tables we could sit down, so we did, then another waitress came and said this table was reserved even though it wasn't marked and there were other free tables available, something like that hasn't happened to me yet. I told the friendly waitress who had assigned us the place that he would like to tell the manager of the restaurant that we would like to go to this restaurant never enter again and something like that is not possible at all, that was a flop that has never happened to me before, I will advise friends and business partners not to enter this restaurant!!

The food used to be much better here. We drove an extra 40km to eat here again and were disappointed! The chicken and melon salad with balsamic dressing only had a little oil on it. The chicken pieces, like the entire salad, were completely unseasoned. The sea bream fillet tasted ok, but had a lot of bones for a fillet. The vegetables that came with it were completely overcooked. Only the pasta in tomato-salmon sauce tasted good (but it's not on the menu)

It's not that easy for me to evaluate this, so I'll try to go into a little more detail. The terrace and lake atmosphere are great, even if one or two brush strokes could be done here again. Nevertheless, you sit very nicely with an appropriate view. Our pizzas were very good, the dough was nice and crispy, but I lacked the spiciness for a Diavola. But I was given an appropriate choice of seasoning so that the pizza was just right. Apart from that, the service was unfortunately neither courteous nor very fast. We would have ordered a lot more if someone had asked if we wanted something more to drink. The young blonde lady in particular seemed very uninterested in her work, which is a shame because with the ambience and the kitchen, Villa Aurora has much more potential.

The location and ambience are first class! The decoration is a bit kitschy, but still tasteful. Just really southern ;-) Unfortunately, the culinary level of the restaurant cannot keep up with the furnishings. Although the menu conveys a hint of upscale Italian cuisine, overall the dishes are prepared quite unimaginatively and are therefore presented in a boring manner. The Scaloppina al vino bianco, for example, was served with fries. This has never happened to me in Italy. Here, for example, rosemary potatoes and some vegetables tossed in butter would have been more appropriate. The Panna Cotta was quite large for a dessert, but it was simply slapped onto the plate in a completely unimaginative way. A bit of berries and a bit of mint, for example, would have added a bit of pizzazz. With our companion, a green caterpillar suddenly sat up vertically in the side salad and said hello ;-)) Well, that can happen, but the offer to bring a new salad didn't happen, as did the offer of a digestive on the house, even though we There was a group of 10 people and the bill was decent. To top off the evening, my bill included food and drinks that I neither ordered nor consumed because I was the last person in the group to pay my bill. Something like this shouldn't normally happen!! So the bottom line is a mediocre to disappointing experience that I personally will definitely not repeat there. Clearly not a recommendation from me!!

Die Inneneinrichtung stammt aus den 80er Jahren, dorische Säulen und Deckengemälde runden das kitschige Gesamtbild ab. Die Speisekarte ist in Plastikhüllen und klebt vor Dreck. Die Gerichte sind durchweg 08/15, eine Tageskarte gibt es nicht, auffällig: diverse Schnitzel, einschließlich Jägerschnitzel. Eine Weinkarte gibt es nicht, es gibt jeweils drei offene Weine ohne Namen. Ich hatte Vitello Tonnato, zundertrockenes Kalbfleisch und eine sehr flüssige, aber essbare Thunfischsoße. Kein Highlight. Tagliatelle Salmone: Die Nudeln waren matschig und innerhalb von Minuten hatte man einen klebrigen Klumpen auf dem kitschigen Teller mit peinlichen, bunten Motiven. Die Villa soll am Kinzig See liegen, allerdings blickt man auf eine turbulente Liegewiese eines Freibades. In 300 Meter Entfernung kann man den See erkennen, tolle Lage. Die Atmosphäre ähnelte einer Bahnhofshalle, allerdings mit einer Menge penetranter Fliegen. Ich brauchte auch nur 15 Minuten warten, um zu bestellen, und nur 20 Minuten, um zu bezahlen. Nie wieder!

This is the go-to restaurant in our small town. It's near a lake, with the expected views. Our daughter loves that she can play by the lake, run around on the large patio and play in the local playground. The food is exceptional! The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and nice. The prices are acceptable for the quality and taste offered.

Very nice location on Lake Kinzig with barrier-free access, including from the parking lot. Several spacious guest areas - but it still makes sense to book in advance for requested times.

Seldom eaten so badly. Pizza and lasagna were subpar. Pizza was absolutely tasteless, was so thin you could read a newspaper through it and was dripping with oil. For the lasagna... I'm at a loss for words. But the beer and salad tasted good.

The pizza was very tasty. The shrimp pizza is my personal favorite. The service was also friendly and helpful.

In May 2024 we celebrated our wedding here with around 35 guests. The restaurant offers a lot of space and a very nice ambience. The staff and the boss are very polite and extremely friendly. We had the opportunity to celebrate in the restaurant and still be able to use the spacious and beautiful terrace. The food was very good and although we had several dishes on our wedding menu, the food was served warm and beautifully presented to all guests at the same time. The tables were very festively set and decorated. All drinks were nice and cold or hot. There is a playground for the little ones right in front of the terrace and the view of the lake gave our celebration another special feature. There are plenty of free parking spaces right in front of the restaurant. We thought it was great and were very satisfied and recommend it without reservation. Many thanks to the entire Villa Aurora team.

Die Villa Aurora ist ein gutes italienisches Restaurant. Die Pizzen sind geschmacklich wirklich sehr gut. Leider sind die Salate weniger gut. Ein leckere Vinaigrette wäre toll. Leider muss man sich den Salat immer selbst anmachen, wenn man das Hausdressig nicht mag. Der Service und das Ambiente sind top!

We waited a little bit because the place was full and they had a lot to do. But you can't complain about the food. I had seafood spaghetti and my husband had a salmon pizza. Both were really delicious.

Very nice restaurant at Kinzigsee. In summer you have the opportunity to enjoy your meal on the very beautiful terrace with a view of the lake. Unfortunately (as with many restaurants now) it is currently not possible to pay by card. Service was quick and friendly. Food is always very good.

Tried again after many years and it was a complete failure. Welcome very friendly. But that was it. We were there with 4 people. The meals were 2 times salmon and 2 times loin. We asked if we could get fries with the loin, this was answered in the negative. There are only fried potatoes. Ok, we accepted that. Then the food came....3 mini pieces of sirloin, overcooked vegetables, 6 small fried potato cubes and everything cold. The salmon also mini portion. Really a disgrace for the money. Lende went back into the kitchen and came back to the table cold. In between we were brought a salad. It just didn't taste like anything. There were fries at the next table. We asked why we couldn't get any, we were told that wasn't possible in the kitchen because we had loin. We didn't even ask for drinks anymore. The table wasn't cleared for ages. We were absolutely dissatisfied and won't be going there again.

Die Villa Aurora ist für mich persönlich das schönste und leckerste Restaurant im ganzen Main Kinzig Kreis!

Heute Pizza essen in der Villa Aurora am Kinzigsee. Die bestellten Pizzen 🍕 Diavolo und Capricciosa waren knusprig und sehr lecker, leicht scharf🌶️ 😋 und gut gewürzt. Einfach „hervorragend“! Eine kleine Pizza kostet 12€ und große Pizza 14€. Nach meiner Auffassung ist die kleine Pizza zu teuer, da sie auch wesentlich kleiner ist, wie eine Pizza bei einem anderen Italiener. Der Preis für die große Pizza, die so groß wie der Teller ist, ist ok. Ein kleines Pils 0,3 vom Fass kostet 3,60€ und ein großes Bier 0,5 gleich 6€, finde ich persönlich sehr teuer. Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist gerade so okay 👍. Der Service war immer auf Zack trotz hohem Andrang im Außenbereich! Der Innenbereich und auch der Außenbereich sind sehr ansprechend, man fühlt sich dort aufgrund der vielen Pflanzen und dem Blick auf den See wie im Urlaub. Toll ist, dass man dort auch mit einer größeren Gesellschaft gut parken und feiern kann. Das Restaurant ist top 🔝man kann dieses nur wärmstens weiter empfehlen.

Hervorragendes Essen, alle Wünsche werden erfüllt und die Location ist die schönste in Langenselbold, hier kommt Urlaubsstimmung auf.

Wir gehen schon seit Jahren hierher. Leckere Gerichte, toller Blick auf den See, große Terrasse und freundliche Kellner. Kinder sind herzlich willkommen und es gibt mittlerweile auch eine Möglichkeit zum Wickeln. Unbedingt nach den Tagesgerichten fragen. Pizza und Fisch sind besonders zu empfehlen. Die Seezunge wird zum Beispiel am Tisch filetiert.

Ich war das zweite Mal zum Mittagessen. Die Lokation am See und die Terrasse sind gut. Beim ersten Mal hatte ich Pasta mit Trüffel, war wenig aufregend. Beim zweiten Mal Wiener Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln. Mein Wunsch, die Bratkartoffeln kross und knusprig zu servieren, wurde komplett ignoriert, tatsächlich waren es große Kartoffelstückchen, die innen fast kalt waren, mit an Sicherheit grenzender Wahrscheinlichkeit ein Industrieprodukt, direkt aus der Truhe in die Pfanne. Die beiden Formteigschnitzel kamen auch direkt aus der Fabrik und waren entsprechend langweilig. In der Tat scheint keine der angebotenen Speisen hausgemacht. Das Servicepersonal zeigte sich wenig aufmerksam, obgleich sehr viele vorhanden, aber schlecht organisiert, d.h. für die jeweiligen Tische sind Mitarbeiter nicht dezidiert zugeteilt, so dass jeder alles macht, so aber auch niemand konkret verantwortlich ist. Also kein Highlight weder bei den Speisen noch beim Service, eher unterdurchschnittlich Der zweite Besuch diente der Absicherung des ersten Eindrucks. Fest steht nun, dass ich nicht wiederkommen werde.

Sehr leckeres Essen, Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, immer wieder gerne.

Ich kenne dieses Restaurant seit nunmehr 40 Jahren und es schmeckt dort immer sehr lecker. Mal hat man sehr freundliches Personal und mal leider sehr unhöfliches Personal, die besser nicht in der Dienstleistung arbeiten sollten. Mittlerweile sind die Preise seeehr angehoben und, wie ich gestern feststellen musste, die Portionen kleiner geworden (Spaghetti frutti di mare). Aber wie immer, sehr lecker.

Ein super schöner und gemütlicher Ort.

Das Restaurant liegt an einem See und hat eine tolle Terrasse. Der Service und das Ambiente ist sehr gut, das Essen auch aber leider auch sehr durchschnittlich. Zudem wurde ich falsch abkassiert, was mir leider erst später aufgefallen ist, also RG prüfen.

Wie früher schon, ein wunderschöner Platz mit lauter sehr netten Bedienungen. Immer wenn ich hier bin, gehe ich gern nach Italien am Kinzigsee.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Villa profitiert natürlich auch von ihrer Lage am See. Und bei schönem Wetter ist es herrlich, auf der Terrasse zu sitzen. Was für mich ein "No go" ist, dass man beim Bezahlen, wenn man getrennt bezahlt, die Rechnung hingelegt bekommt und soll selbst ausrechnen, was jeder zu bezahlen hat. Auf Nachfrage hieß es: Anordnung vom Chef. Sie dürfen keine Einzelrechnung machen. Was ist das denn bitte für ein Service?! Der Kellner hatte doch grade nichts zu tun und hätte es mit uns am Tisch ausrechnen können...

Die beste Pizzeria im Umkreis 300km, hier stimmt wirklich alles! Danke!

Was für ein Restaurant! Hatte das Glück, hier binnen weniger Tage zwei Mal essen zu dürfen und es war jedes Mal sensationell. Der Service ist hochprofessionell, die Küche ein Gedicht und die Weine ein weiteres unvergessliches Erlebnis.
