La Bella Positano in Langenselbold

We, two women, were there for dinner. Initially, the service was okay until we received our main courses, but after that, there was simply no service at all. When I asked about dessert on the way to the restroom, the curt reply regarding the menu on the table was, "Yeah, right, I can read it myself." Even after that, the waiter only came when I called him and waved frantically. The food is good, but nothing special; there's no pinza, and the vegetable selection is rather uninspiring.

We were very disappointed. We ordered two antipasti misti, but there was almost nothing on them. A little vitello tonnato, some carpaccio, a few mushrooms – far too little for the price. We were charged 140 euros for these two platters, which is absolutely unjustified. Not even everyone at the table could try anything because the portions were so small. The value for money is completely off. Siamo rimasti molto delusi. Abbiamo ordinato due antipasti misti, ma sui piatti c’era davvero pochissimo: un po’ di vitello tonnato, un po’ di carpaccio, qualche fungo – quantità assolutamente insufficienti per il prezzo. Ci hanno fatto pagare 140 euros per questi due piatti, che non li valgono affatto. If you take the tavolo, you'll have to eat it with quality, but you'll have to eat the porzioni erano troppo piccole. The rapporto quality-prezzo è completely inadeguato.

The next day we met the same lady in this restaurant and were pleased to find out that she is the co-owner of this establishment. We regularly and happily come to Bella Positano. The food is always good and varied. The selection of dishes and drinks offers excellent value for money. The Aperol Spritz is delicious, and the glasses are always filled to the liking of our guests. I highly recommend the veal chop.

The food was mediocre at best. Except for the pizza, which was truly inedible and cold. The veal steak with potatoes was the best of the day. The spaghetti with seafood, unfortunately, didn't taste fresh. It took forever to pay. We had to ask several times. Then the bill was thrown at us without even looking at the table, and the waitress disappeared! We put the money on the table and weren't even bid farewell.

I'm not usually a fan of writing reviews myself, but I feel compelled to do so here. We've been coming here since we first started in Langenselbold and have never been disappointed. The value for money is unbeatable. The special dishes and especially the recommendation menu always have something for us. If you didn't enjoy your meal here, there's no help for you. Simply a fantastic restaurant with a large dining room and a lovely summer terrace.

Food was delicious, the service on the other hand was a complete fail. Dirty dishes were not cleared for 30 minutes. Then we had to yell after the waiter to order some espresso which took another 20 minutes to materialize. You kind of felt like it was an inconvenience for them to serve you.

A very good restaurant with excellent food. Just what you'd expect from Italian cuisine. Coupled with a top-notch team, it's an absolute recommendation. I'm always impressed. You feel like Italy here.

We've been going to Positano regularly for 20 years and have never had a bad experience, neither with the food nor with the service. For us, it's always a pleasure, and we'd resolve any issues immediately, as the owner, staff, and chef are always available to talk to. Those who complain should go to the pizza parlors.

Highly recommended. A lovely, rather "older" ambiance, and precisely for that reason, cozy. No modern, sober refrigerator. I was invited to the birthday menu: top-notch! All in all: nice, delicious, good.

Extremely unfriendly service, even on the phone when we made the reservation. There were seven of us. We ordered a little of everything, and unfortunately, none of the dishes were good. On top of that, we couldn't eat together because all the dishes came separately, and the children had to wait the longest—the first ones were already finished. The tables were sticky. Bread was on the house, and only for select guests. It was a disgrace to charge for such an experience.

We went out to dinner with the entire family today and it was more than disastrous! The service staff were mostly only visible at certain tables and were otherwise rare. After half an hour we were able to order drinks and had the foresight to also order food. Despite four small children, we had to wait more than 1.5 hours for food. And as if this wasn't enough, the plates (top and bottom) were already dirty from previous customers. Sauces were missing and the taste wasn't great. The male service person wasn't polite either, but rather snippy. Never again and absolutely not recommended

We were here with three people. The food was brought to our table together and was delicious. The salad, pasta with fresh seafood, and pizza were all truly delicious 👍🏼 The fish in the pasta was really fresh, and the giant scampi was absolutely outstanding. The service could have been a little more strenuous, though. We sat for at least 20 minutes before someone came to our table.

Personally, I didn't like it that much. I won't go there again.

We always go to La Bella Positano for something to eat and I honestly don't understand so many negative comments here when it comes to service. We are always in very good hands and our little furry friend is always served a piece of ham 😊 The food always tastes good and fresh and we always check to see if we need anything. No long wait for food. What else do you need? We'll definitely be back :)

We visited the restaurant last night. My colleague had ordered a schnitzel hunter style with fries. I ordered two pizzas With two extras. On the one hand, the service was absolutely unfriendly. I took a special look at the clock. It was only 25 minutes. I had provocatively placed the empty bottle of water and the empty glass to the side. During that time, different waiters walked past ten times without even asking if I would like something to drink. On the other hand, we were presented with a DIN A four-page menu. With the statement there is no more today, I then asked on the card. If pizza is your choice, what kind of pizzas are there? Yes, you get an extra card. The first impression is absolutely bad. The pizza wasn't even average. It was clearly not baked on a stone, but definitely in one of those famous pans, because it was cooked and not baked. Any frozen pizza I make for myself at home tastes better than this pizza that was offered last night. The same thing happened when we wanted to pay. We had to ask three times that we wanted to pay until someone came up with the idea and asked us, would you like to pay? The restaurant itself makes a nice, tidy impression, but the staff takes some getting used to and the food, at least what was offered yesterday, is absolutely not recommended from this small menu. The cheese smelled a bit strange. I ordered onions with it. You could look for the onions on the pizza. You can barely tell there were maybe three slices of onion on the pizza. The portions of the schnitzel were also carelessly prepared. The fries were cold. The sauce on the schnitzel was just enough to cover the schnitzel. We have decided not to come here anymore.

Unfortunately no more than 2 stars due to the unfriendly staff. No smile, no thank you, no nothing. Service is a foreign word here.

La Bella Positano was truly our absolute favorite Italian restaurant for years! Unfortunately the quality and the ambience have deteriorated enormously! We always received a greeting from the kitchen - now none! There's nothing left! Our meal today arrived only lukewarm and the side salad for 6.50 euros consisted of wildly torn iceberg lettuce, a quarter of a tomato, red onion pieces and a floret of lamb's lettuce. Very careless and absolutely overpriced! The tablecloths are now plastic and sticky. It doesn't help that they are double on top of each other. The staff has been the same for years and always the same - hardworking and correct. We got a "farewell drink" on the house, but we won't be visiting this restaurant as often anymore.

Great atmosphere with super tasty fresh food. Not a long wait despite the house being well attended. The rump steak was super tender and fried to perfection.

Unfortunately, my schnitzel dish wasn't particularly good. The meat was dry and had hardly any flavor. It is conceivable that it was a TK product. Unfortunately the sauce wasn't good at all. It looked like a ready-made sauce and tasted like a ready-made sauce that had been pimped with spices. The fries were weak and lukewarm. Because of the price, I could give my schnitzel dish two more stars. The price is actually much too cheap these days, which could possibly be an indication of finished goods from the refrigerator or frozen food. My companion ate a pizza. She rated her pizza similarly less well. The dough was burnt on the bottom and the topping, especially the main topping, looked canned. We felt uncomfortable with the service. Our condition seemed listless and rattled off normal processes (e.g. taking orders, bringing food to the table) as quickly as possible. Every now and then we mumbled so quickly and listlessly that we couldn't understand what was being said. Our wine was fine. The two glasses of cola that were ordered didn't work at all. Temperature too high and, above all, there was no carbon dioxide in the drink. That's why the Cola tasted like feet that had fallen asleep. Positano was my favorite pizzeria for years, but this performance is alienating guests. The only positive was the ambience. It has always been and continues to be extremely comfortable. Especially in the outdoor area you feel like you are in Italy. But the ambience cannot in any way compensate for the many negative points when it comes to the most important thing, namely food and drinks. Therefore, I only give one star overall and I very much hope that the Positano takes this criticism constructively and greatly improves the quality.

Food was pretty tasty. However, the price-performance ratio is not quite there. It's relatively expensive (almost €10 for an ice cream with fruit...). The waiter wasn't really the warmest and if we had been asked more often and offered to continue ordering, there would have been more sales. However, the ambience is pleasant and gives you the feeling of being on holiday.

The best thing about this place is the day off...if there is one. I was there on a Friday evening...the service was still ok...if you ignore the fact that after the tomato mozzarella was cut way too thick, my napkin was gone and didn't come back...only when I became desperate while eating pizza had made I could have actually saved myself... because the pizza had little to do with a good Italian pizza...! The dough was just OK...the topping was way too thick...there were slices of mozzarella on it...thick as a finger and therefore rubbery. I had Parma ham on it...it usually has to be sliced ​​very thin...it had the thickness of 3 postcards on top of each other...the arugula and I had ordered extra little...covered everything. So really bad! But the terrace is really beautiful!!! From me...no recommendation!

The Bella Positano has good Italian cuisine and a varied daily menu. Unfortunately the service is very arrogant. Today we were assigned a table and then ignored for about 25 minutes. Admittedly there was a lot going on, but that's still not possible. My attempt to speak to a waiter in passing was also met with gross disregard. We then left and stayed with an Italian who appreciated us as guests. Because of the sticky tablecloths, Bella Positano is nicknamed the “dirty Italian” anyway. We were there for the last time today.

The ambience is very nice, the food was good but my salad could have been cut more bite-sized and my steak was more well done than medium rare. If you ask about the cooking level, then this should be adhered to. Overall, I'm still satisfied and would come again.

Sober greeting. After the starter, the main course took forever. Unfortunately, the wrong dish was brought to the table and had to be re-prepared. Pasta (hard) and schnitzel were not convincing, the pizzas were burnt on the edges. Reason for the second star: the Salami Piccante pizza had a pleasant spiciness! The service leaves a lot to be desired in terms of friendliness. There was no apology, no discount, etc. for the wrong dish and the corresponding delay. When we left the restaurant, we weren't even looked at and no one said goodbye. Sorry, but we don't have to go there anymore.

Nüchterne Begrüßung. Nach der Vorspeise dauerte der Hauptgang eine Ewigkeit. Leider wurde dann auch noch ein falsches Gericht an den Tisch gebracht und musste neu hergerichtet werden. Nudeln (hart) und Schnitzel waren nicht überzeugend, die Pizzen waren am Rand verbrannt. Grund für den zweiten Punkt: die Pizza Salami Piccante hatte eine angenehme Schärfe! Der Service lässt an Freundlichkeit sehr zu wünschen übrig. Für das falsche Gericht mit der entsprechenden Verzögerung gab es keine Entschuldigung, keinen Nachlass, o. ä. Beim Verlassen des Lokals wurden wir keines Blickes gewürdigt, es hat sich niemand verabschiedet. Sorry, aber da müssen wir auch nicht mehr hin.

We had dinner there with friends today. Unfortunately I have to say that we were all extremely disappointed. The service was unmotivated and you felt like you were being used. As we expected, the food was just bad. Judging by the taste, my husband was served rotten meat. One would have expected an apology to come from the kitchen or the service, unfortunately in vain. We definitely won't visit this restaurant again.

Als Halbitaliener wollte ich mal mit meiner Freundin italienisch essen gehen. Nach dem wir eine gefühlte Ewigkeit auf die Karte gewartet haben, die erste Enttäuschung. Mit Italien hat die Karte bis auf die italienischen Titel und die Pizza wenig gemein. Eher so 60 er Jahre Küche mit italienischen Titeln. Vitello Tonnato sehr sehr majonäsig mit trockenem Kalbfleisch Das Lamm war eine Katastrophe. Schreckliches, totgebratenes Stück Fleisch. Das bekommt sogar meine Mutter besser hin. Bedienung fast schon unverschämt Lustlos. Muss man nicht zweimal hin

Waren am Wochenende zum Essen hier. Leider kann ich nur wenig Positives berichten. Das Ambiente war schön und das Essen kam schnell. Der Service war nicht unfreundlich - aber auch nicht auffallend gut. Das Essen (worauf es letztlich ankommt) dagegen war bedauerlicherweise wirklich nichts. Ich hatte einen Beilagensalat mit Joghurtdressing - in meinem sogar noch die unbestellte Zusatzzutat "Haar". Das Dressing war enttäuschenderweise nicht selbstgemacht. Gekauft und massig darüber geleert. Alle drei georderten Pizzen waren verbrannt - sowohl der Teig (zum Teil schwarz) und der Käse (leicht bitterer Geschmack). Auch die anderen, die keine Pizza hatten, waren nicht besonders angetan. Wir haben aufgegessen, aus Mangel an Alternativen. Preis war gehobener Durchschnitt - aber für die erbrachte Leistung definitiv zu viel. Alles in allem ein Erlebnis, auf das ich in Zukunft verzichten kann.

Gutes Essen aber leider war der Service nicht mehr als ein Stern wert. Service war nicht aufmerksam und wir mussten sehr lange auf neue Getränke warten.

Ein schönes Lokal mit gutem Essen. Der Service war toll und was ich besonders herausheben möchte - die positive Stimmung bei allen Gästen die zu spüren und zu beobachten war - ganz offensichtlich haben sich dort die Menschen sehr wohl gefühlt und ihre Zeit genossen.

Leckeres italienisches Essen im schönen Ambiente

Das Essen ist nicht unbedingt qualitativ hochwertig. Ich hatte das Gefühl es waren Fertigpizzen. Die Kellner vermitteln einem nicht unbedingt gute Laune. Da gibt es weitaus bessere Lokale in Langenselbold.

Jedes Mal ein Genuss. Wir waren schon sehr oft hier und hatten nie den Fall, dass das Essen nicht geschmeckt hat. Wir kommen echt gerne hin. Als Vorspeise empfehle ich das Vitello Tonnato. Wenn man es sich teilt, kommt es direkt auf zwei Tellern. Grundsätzlich sind aber auf der Empfehlungskarte immer sehr interessante Sachen drauf. Zur Trüffelzeit bestelle ich oft einfach nur Tagliatelle mit Trüffel und Butter. Das schmeckt immer sehr gut. Der Service ist mir noch nie negativ aufgefallen. Man geht doch essen, um gemütlich zu sitzen und in Ruhe zu essen. Da ist man doch nicht auf der Flucht, dass man direkt bestellen, essen und sofort gehen muss. Manche Menschen sollten sind in Geduld üben oder lieber ein Schnellrestaurant aufsuchen.

Eine Pizzeria der gehobenen Kategorie in einem Ambiente was sich sehen lassen kann. Eine weiteres Highlight ist die sehr große Terrasse die sehr gemütlich ist. Daß Essen war sehr gut zu fairen Preisen. Unangenehm war für mich das der Kellner im Glauben war er müsse Italienisch sprechen, er konnte Deutsch.

Essen ging so. Bedienung völlig unaufmerksam. Wir hätten gern mehr getrunken! Musste zum Bezahlen an die Theke gehen und mir sogar den Beleg selbst abreisen, weil ich allein stehen gelassen wurde. Ambiente sehr schummrige Lichtverhältnisse. Und das an einem ordinären Donnerstag. Da ist noch Luft nach oben.

Wir hatten zuletzt einen Salat mit Entenbrust. Die Ente war so trocken und zäh, dass man sie nicht essen konnte. Bei der Reklamation zuckte man nur mit den Schultern. Natürlich mussten wir auch die volle Rechnung bezahlen. Der Service ist fast immer reserviert, herzlich geht anders. Man fühlt sich nicht wirklich willkommen. Sehr schade, da bei uns in direkter Laufnähe. Wir werden nicht mehr hingehen.

Sehr lecker, eine gute Speisekarte und aufmerksame Bedienung. Jetzt im Sommer angenehm, man kann auch draußen sitzen. An der Bewertung konnte sich nichts ändern. Der Besitzer ist der gleiche. Immer wieder angenehm. 👍

Sehr leckeres Rippy Steak mit frischem Spinat und angebraten und Kartoffeln. Sehr zu empfehlen werden wiederkommen.

Rind war medium rare bestellt, leider fast durch. Darf eigentlich nicht so weit daneben sein. Ansonsten sehr lecker gewesen, Beilagen hervorragend, Preis etwas höher, dafür aber auch gehobene Qualität. Service war im Grunde gut, hätte jedoch etwas freundlicher sein können. Vielleicht einfach nur einen schlechten Tag gehabt. Würde es weiterempfehlen und auch wieder kommen.

Wir waren heute im La Bella Positano essen. Die Location ist ganz schön. Auch die Kellner waren freundlich. Es war nicht viel los und das Essen wurde schnell gebracht. Geschmacklich war das Essen in Ordnung. Die Portionen waren ausreichend und preislich ok.

Ein sehr gemütliches und gutes italienisches Restaurant. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und hat uns gut betreut. Das Essen war hervorragend und kleine Extrawünsche wurden prompt erfüllt .

Super Essen, toller Service, schöne Location. Wir waren schon sehr oft im "Posi" essen und es war immer einwandfrei. Ich bin entsetzt über die vielen schlechten Bewertungen! Wir gehen immer wieder gerne dort hin.

Wollte einen Tisch auf der Terasse reservieren, geht angeblich nicht, nur Innen. Sind auf gut Glück hingegangen haben auch noch einen Tisch bekommen. Aber was sehe ich, einige Tische schmückt ein Schild „ Reserviert“ auf Nachfrage bekomme ich zur Antwort: Für manche Gäste schon. Also 2.Klassen Gesellschaft, genauso wird man auch bedient. Das ist mir schon öfter aufgefallen, gehe eigentlich ganz gerne hin, denn das Essen ist sehr gut. Aber die Arroganz nervt, gehe jetzt erstmal nicht mehr hin.
