We visited on a whim and received a friendly welcome. The Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) were excellent. The service was good and attentive.

9:20 PM, we just want a quick beer... unfriendly, sorry, we're closing. Happened to me twice, I've been there. Closed because they're rich? 🔒 Huckebein is around the corner, go there, they still want to make money and they're friendly.

A quaint pub in the old town. Everything was perfect, the food and service were good, I can recommend it.

A truly fantastic restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The service was a 10 out of 10. The food was delicious. We got a table without a reservation, so it's best to book in advance. We'll definitely be back. Thank you. Thumbs up, keep it up!

Discovered by chance yesterday! Beautiful restaurant with great food and first-class service. Unfortunately, we had to catch our train to North Rhine-Westphalia, otherwise we would have stayed longer.

August 2025: It's nice to read the many positive reviews. We didn't go any further than the entrance to the counter, as we encountered an irate boss toward his employees there. Given the bad atmosphere, we decided to leave.

A really good restaurant with a great atmosphere. Delicious food and generous portions. Very friendly staff, and hot food served all day long. One of my absolute favorite restaurants 👍

I've been going there for 12 years and I'm always impressed. The Schäufele (pork shoulder) is the main motivation for our festival group and one of the best I've ever eaten: juicy, super tender, plenty of caraway, a nice crispy rind, and a fantastic sauce. Fantastic. The winemaker's steak, in particular, can't be praised highly enough; the combination of grapes, cheese, and wine is divine! And the list goes on forever: excellent Kässpätzle (cheese spaetzle), delicious liver, and, most recently, the Sauerbraten (sauerbraten) was unanimously praised. The service, although sometimes criticized here, was always good for us. Sure, it's southern Germany, so people are easily curt and direct when it's busy and things need to be done quickly. But always friendly, honest, and helpful. I'll miss the festivals at the PoHa and almost even more the blissful time at the 4 Jahreszeiten (4 Seasons). Thank you for so many years!!

I wasn't a guest at the hotel, but like every year, I was a guest at the restaurant, and I can only say: It couldn't be better!!! The food is amazing if you like good, home-style cooking and regional specialties. The staff is very friendly and always attentive to their guests. They also serve delicious Distelhäuser Pilsner! What more could you want!!! I'd be happy to come back!!!

We stopped by here spontaneously during the Keep It True Festival, feeling very hungry and short on time. Many metal fans had the same idea, and so we ended up at the table of a very friendly couple from Munich – thank you very much for that! The service was incredibly friendly and very prompt. Within a short time, we had delicious food and delicious wine on the table. We wholeheartedly recommend a visit and would love to come back again if we get the chance!

Highly recommended. Very unassuming from the outside, quite rustic inside, and the staff absolutely top-notch. Super fast and super friendly. The glasses were full to the brim.

Our weekend stay in Würzburg in July 2025 was a complete success, thanks in part to the excellent food and the cozy atmosphere in the beer garden of the Vier Jahreszeiten restaurant. Our group of 19 people ate twice in the evening in the beautiful beer garden, which, with its large, shady trees, provided a perfect oasis for the hot summer evenings. The food was absolutely delicious, and we had no complaints from a total of 38 meals! (That was really good!) The quality and variety of the dishes were outstanding, and the service was friendly, attentive, and prompt. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the Vier Jahreszeiten restaurant. A perfect venue for groups and celebrations!

A quaint restaurant with a covered beer garden in Würzburg's old town. We had schnitzel with chanterelle mushrooms, sauerbraten, shoulder of pork, and cheese spaetzle, with chocolate soufflé for dessert. Everything was delicious. I would go back anytime. Service was friendly and quick. Highly recommended.

Very good food, but everything was very crowded and there was not much space, meaning it was designed to seat as many people as possible, hence only 3 stars.

Romantic, shady courtyard. Extremely friendly, prompt service. The food, salad, and toast, were delicious. The glass of wine was reasonably priced, especially considering the proximity of the wine bars. A real insider tip in this central location! Come again!

Breakfast is very good. Everything you need for breakfast is available. It's constantly replenished. The breakfast room is small. If groups come for breakfast, there isn't enough space. People shouldn't come into the breakfast room at the same time. The rooms are functionally furnished. Everything is clean, the bed is made, and towels are changed regularly. The service is attentive and very friendly. The hotel is centrally located. From there, the city center is within easy walking distance.

We were in the beautiful beer garden on Tuesday at 5 p.m., had a reservation for two. The service was excellent and very friendly, and the ambiance was also very nice; from the outside, you wouldn't know it was such a cozy beer garden. The drinks were brought without a wait, and we didn't have to wait long for the food. Now for the food, unfortunately, it was disappointing; for such a nice restaurant, I really expected something better. The sauce tasted so much like flour, the salad, even the outer leaves were used and not cleaned well, the meat was okay. My sauce tasted very much like Maggi, the pineapple schnitzel was 3 millimeters thick, the cheese was well-seeded, only there was no pineapple on my plate. BUT the fries were good. We reserved for 12 people, and the 12 of us actually only got two four-person tables. It was 32 degrees Celsius, and we were stuck together because everything was so cramped. When we asked if we could get another four-person table, the only answer was that the other tables were also reserved and it would be "a bit cozier," mind you, in 32 degrees Celsius. From then on, it was clear that service wasn't important to the staff. Menus were stacked on the table, "you could always take one." The drinks were never placed on the table, but always held halfway up in the air, so that I, as a guest, had to stretch and get up from my chair to get my drink, so that the waiter wouldn't have to bother me. During the second round of drinks, the old glasses weren't cleared away, which of course caused enormous space problems when the food was served, given that there were only two four-person tables. The portions were small, but still well prepared. Summary: Service desert with good food for half portions.

Quaint Franconian inn in the center of Würzburg with a beautiful beer garden. The kitchen still offers really Franconian dishes, e.g. wedding dinner with horseradish sauce, etc. and very good pints. Kudos to the kitchen. The entire staff is friendly and attentive. Conclusion: Recommended!

Simple, traditional house that is often visited by locals. Ambience: rustic and a bit out of date. Good traditional cuisine, good price/performance ratio. Very friendly and fast service.

Went there twice just for a nightcap and each time it was somehow possible for us to find a place. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere. How you call in is how it comes out ;-)

The room is specially decorated. Not the typical way and I liked that. It is set up with consideration and not run-of-the-mill. What takes some getting used to is that you get the key in the Würzburger Hof. It's less than 100 meters away, so it's easily doable. There is also breakfast there. And that's what it's all about. That's why you can stay there overnight. I don't even know how many positive details I should list. Three different newspapers, chopped salmon. Good rolls and bread. Jam from d'Arbo, oranges for squeezing. Almond cream without palm oil. The service is unobtrusive, barely noticeable and still does a very good job. The facility is a bit older and whether you have to have a gallery with signatures of past celebrities (I don't know any of them)... But it doesn't bother me. Best breakfast ever.

The Vier Seasons restaurant is usually very full and almost nothing works without a reservation. The food is very good. The service is good and fast. The prices ok. I'd love to come back.

Franconian inn, cozy atmosphere, nice staff. According to others, meat dishes were good. I myself ate vegetarian food, which is unfortunately not recommended. Fried dumplings with egg and salad for 18.50 euros is absolutely not justified in terms of price. Especially since the food was very dry and not seasoned. Meat dishes were sometimes cheaper, which is unfortunately incomprehensible to me compared to a simple fried dumpling.

My cordon bleu was terrible. No cheese at all, way too thick and a bit chewy too. Definitely not recommended for €20. The beer is served in specially made 0.4L mugs. Really terrible here. It's a shame, because the location would actually be quite nice.

I don't usually rate restaurants because they usually provide guests with a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. After three visits (I always give a chance to improve) this is definitely my last visit. The food is good and the price is acceptable, but the behavior of the management is not good at all. Due to the limited spaces, the operator seems to want to force table changes as quickly as possible. As soon as I sat down, I became instantaneous every time Ordering was rushed even though I wanted to wait for my girlfriend to find a parking space. I was also urged to hurry while eating. On the third visit, another guest was even insulted because she talked to the person sitting next to her instead of ordering. When we then briefly something We wanted to play, we were rudely interrupted. 'It makes me cringe when I see something like that,' he shouted. Everyone who is similarly dissatisfied should join together and contact the operator make it clear that guests are not animals to be processed quickly. We want one relaxed, friendly atmosphere and time for a pleasant evening. If you are tired of having to serve people, the employment office will be happy to provide job suggestions. I look forward to the comments from those affected.

The hotel rooms are old and musty, there is no elevator, the bed is right against the wall facing the hallway and next to the door, so you can hear everything. In general I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. But at least there was wine on the house and the receptionists were very friendly.

Food is simple and OK but I wouldn't call it good. But the price is very cheap. If the demands are not too high, you can eat cheaply there. But that was it. Ambiance is well...

Had dinner there on a Friday evening... luckily we had reserved a table! Unfortunately some had to leave because it was so well attended. TIP Reserve a table beforehand. The food was very tasty. Price performance was also okay. The service was super nice and always made sure we had everything. Very great...keep it up 😉

We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant in Wurzburg. What a winner!!! The pork shoulder was great as was the schnitzel. The side salad was impressive too. Service from Amin was excellent. We had such a lovely lunch. Price was great value for money. We couldn’t finish our meals they were so big. Would highly recommend.

Looking for a good and tasty lunch, we arrived at the “Four Seasons” inn on our company outing in Würzburg. From the reception to the service to the very tasty food, everything was perfect. The beautiful ambience is also worth mentioning. A clear recommendation for me.

The hotel is located above a bar, right in the center of the city. The reception is in Hotel next door. All the staff make an effort, the hotel is gloomy, the walls are so thin that I could hear my neighbor going to the toilet at 6 a.m. and every door movement until 1 a.m. at night. The location is really central and a room with tea and coffee is nice.

Not exceptional but central. Unfortunately no good communication with the guest. When we commented that we wanted to drink a beer without food in the beer garden, we were welcomed, and shortly after the drink arrived, we were uncharmingly told that if we didn't eat, we would be blocking the way for paying customers. Unfortunately it was a quick beer.

We have been guests at the hotel of the same name for three days and wanted to see what the beer garden looks like for the first time today around 9:30 p.m. The employees' reaction was relatively muted, saying: we're closing soon. It would have been better to sit down for a drink and have a drink. There were also a few guests there. It's a shame, you won't get any guests that way and you certainly won't get any recommendations!

Moni and Michael stopped there and were very satisfied. Service attentive and friendly. Salad for the main course was very tasty. Main course tasted very good. Glasses properly filled. Price-performance ratio is very good. We'd love to come by again.

This was our first time in the Vier Seasons beer garden. What a great location and lovely ambience. Food and drink menu very good. Franconian cuisine - and our dishes were very lightly seasoned, but so far good. Service friendly and quick 👍 What makes you think is the tone of the boss and how he and his employees deal with complaints. At the next table, two older women complained that their food was overbaked/overbaked. The way that one lady was trying to make fun of the food with unfunny comments and that it probably wasn't "burnt" - that's not possible. At a volume level - it doesn't work at all.
