Restaurant Tante Anna in Oberursel (Taunus)

Been here again after ages and the atmosphere is still just as rustic and pleasant as it was a few years ago. (As long as my memory doesn't deceive me) The service was also very accommodating, family-friendly. Only the quality of the food has deteriorated somewhat. The Greek side salad was smaller, despite having the same components and the ingredients were not fresh. Might have been a bad day though. The starters were good. Main courses didn't blow us away. The price is okay so families can also be happy here. I can't judge ToGo quality & portion sizes.

The food is delicious and the portions are generous - no one has to go home hungry 😉The waiting time of almost half an hour was absolutely fine in my opinion. The service was friendly and attentive. It's very comfortable to sit in the beer garden on warm summer days, with a huge, old tree providing shade. The ambience is more reminiscent of an Äbbelwoik pub than a Greek restaurant, but hey - we're talking about a traditional restaurant, it's nice that it still exists 😀

Good Greek - German cuisine at fair prices. When the weather is nice you can sit in the large beer garden. This is partly covered, so you can sit outside even if it rains. The furnishings are rather rustic and a bit old. All in all, the visit is worth it.

We wanted to enjoy dinner outside again this evening. Went there at 5:15 p.m. and then placed our order at 5:30 p.m. At around 6:15 p.m. we asked the second condition whether we would still get our food or whether they didn't want to give us anything because at least 5 tables that came after us already had their food and one table that came after us was already leaving. Unfortunately it took another 10 minutes before we had to order again. Since we had lost our desire to eat, we decided to pay instead. 5 minutes later the boss came with the bill for the 2 drinks and said he would have liked to have brought our order forward in the kitchen and that the condition had forgotten the order. It can happen, but an apology looks different. That was the last time we were there. It's nice that you read the review. Unfortunately, they don't realize that they can't deal with their guests like that. Your conditions work excellently and yes, things can go wrong. But it can't be that after the complaint that our food wasn't made, at least 10 minutes pass until the conditions with the menu for a new order come through. The condition had informed them, we had seen, why didn't they come and apologized for the carelessness of their staff. No, when we refused a new order because we were very angry and we didn't like the food in their restaurant, they came with the bill and said that if they had ordered the food in the kitchen they would have preferred it and that they didn't comply with the condition can leave the head. As mentioned above, an apology looks different. But now when I read the reviews and see their answers, it's clear that this was the only way they could answer. Oh, the restaurant was perhaps at most 20% full when we visited.

I can fully recommend this Greek restaurant. I have been going there in summer and winter for many years and am always impressed by the consistently good quality of food and service. When temperatures are high, the garden is an insider tip because it is absolutely bearable under the chestnut trees.

Unreservedly 5 points! Authentic Greek food, super friendly service and an authentic ambience. We've been coming for a long time and for a long time to come. Keep it up!

I was a bit disappointed with the meal "to go" - the portion was just enough to fill me up. The food was packaged without decoration (the eye eats with it) and presented somewhat carelessly. The taste of the fries was good but it took some getting used to

Apart from the unfriendly junior manager, the price-performance ratio is no longer right here. We've been guests here for a long time and the prices are getting more and more outrageous. We'll look for another Greek.

Food was good and was brought to the table quickly. Unfortunately, payment was not possible with credit card at the time. The prices are quite high and I was €35 for a starter, main course with a drink. All in all, I left there full and satisfied.

We have been eating here regularly since 2010. Since then we have always been satisfied. The food is extremely tasty and the boss and his staff are friendly and accommodating to special requests. The goal here is to satisfy the guest and so far it has succeeded without exception. I can hardly understand critical or negative reviews. Of course, one can argue about taste, but here too the assessment should be objective. In any case, we enjoy being guests here and regularly enjoy the food in the cozy, rustic atmosphere with conviviality and friendliness.

We ate here as a large group at Easter. The food tastes great and the service is also very friendly. However, my niece's schnitzel was so thin that you could almost see through it. I asked for a second schnitzel, which actually came quite quickly, as well as another one for my second niece, who also had a children's schnitzel. (On the house - super sweet). The star deduction is accordingly for this and also because the gentleman I asked for another schnitzel said they were always so thin. Despite the “stress” that day and the confusion over the schnitzel, all the employees were super friendly! You have to deal with 'criticism' in this area and I have to say, even if you noticed at first that it was unwanted, everyone remained professional and fixed the problem immediately! I will continue to recommend the restaurant because, as I said, the taste is super delicious and they do everything they can to ensure that you go home satisfied!

Old, possibly historical building with a restaurant from very early years. I found it quite dark to read the menu. The restaurant would appear more inviting if it were more modern and brighter. The food was very good, not too expensive and the service was friendly and attentive.

We ate Jägerschnitzel with fries 🍟 and salad mhhhh very tasty 😋 And a really big schnitzel!!!

We ate here on Christmas Day 2023. Despite making a reservation early, we only got a table in a dark corner. Only two dim wall lamps tried to provide some light. Despite the very full restaurant, our drinks and appetizers came quickly. I had baked, breaded sheep's cheese (saganaki). Unfortunately, only some white bread was served with it, so it was a very dry thing. There was no butter, tartar sauce or mayonaise, or like the Croatian ajwar. I thought paying €9.90 was steep (at the time it was still 7% VAT). Afterwards came the side salad, dressed only with vinegar and oil. However, with too much and inferior oil. Even the coleslaw had not been pickled beforehand. At least the salad was crisp and fresh. My main course, gyros in metaxa sauce with fries, was delicious. At first I had a red Naousa that didn't convince me. The Merlot that followed was significantly better, but neither was worth €6.00 ​​or €6.50 per 0.2 liter. The service was quick and friendly. Conclusion: price/performance ratio not appropriate.

Ich war mit zwei Freundinnen da. Das Ambiente ist etwas altbacken und es fehlt ein bisschen mediterranes Flair. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen und Getränke wurden schnell gebracht. Das Essen hat geschmeckt, aber hätte etwas schöner angerichtet sein können.

Essen war sehr lecker, aber bei uns in Bayern gibt's beim Griechen am Ende nen Ouzo oder zwei , hier leider nicht. Darum Abzug beim Service!

Wir waren spontan zum Abendessen da. Die Bedienung war neu und musste noch nachfragen gehen. Kein Problem für uns. Die Speisen waren frisch und schmackhaft. Jedoch war sehr unangenehm und unappetitlich, dass sie den Nebentisch großflächig mit einem Putzmittel einsprühte, während wir aßen. Das geht nicht.

War heute mit der Familie das erste mal hier essen und wir waren restlos zufrieden. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvorkommend und wir mussten auch nicht lange auf das Essen warten. Ich hatte Bifteki ("Ufo mit Besatzung ;-)") frisch vom Grill, das super lecker war. Bezahlung mit ec- Karte war absolut kein Problem - ich weiß nicht, was manche Rezensenten (Claudia K., ohne Worte...) für ein Problem haben. Aprospros Bezahlung: das Preis- Leistungs- Verhältnis ist meiner Meinung nach voll ok. Alles in allem kann ich Tante Anna nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Leckeres Essen und schöne gemütliche Biergarten Atmosphäre die neuen Preise sind auch völlig okay. Der Service ist auch sehr aufmerksam und freundlich bis es dann um das bezahlen mit Karte geht. Dann wird es auf einmal komisch, denn dann schlägt die Stimmung auf einmal um und man bekommt das Gefühl eingetrichtert man würde dem Restaurant jetzt Zeit und Geld kosten nur weil man nicht bar bezahlt. Ja jede Kartenzahlung kostet am Ende Geld aber das ist ein Komfort der 2023 Standard ist und eingepreist sein muss. Genauso kann die Kartenzahlung schneller abgewickelt werden als eine Barzahlung wenn die Voraussetzungen dafür stimmen. Ich hoffe diese Einstellung zur Kartenzahlung wird sich in Zukunft bessern denn ansonsten muss ich daraus meiner persönlichen Konsequenzen ziehen.

Die Fleischgerichte war gut. Allerdings war der bestellte gebackene Schaftskäse nur lauwarm. Das Ambiente des Lokals ist aus den 70/80igern, wenig griechisch eingerichtet und spartanisch. Für die hohen Preisen der Speisen und Getränke ist das Ambiente nicht angemessen. Wir fanden die Preise für die Fleischgerichte, Gyros Metaxxasoße und Lendchen Spieß mit jeweils extra Soße und jeweils über 20€ recht hochpreisig. Die vegetarische Reispfanne ist definitiv zu teuer mit 15,90 € für einen Teller Reis mit ein paar Gemüsestücken drin. Ein zweites Mal werden wir das Restaurant Tante Anna nicht besuchen.

Ein Klassiker in Oberstedten. Essen wie immer super, Service sehr gut und das Wetter war gut genug um im gemütlichen Biergarten zu sitzen.

Ein schon altes Lokal mit heute griechischer Küche. Die Speisen sind sehr lecker zubereitet und die Preise sind angemessen. Jetzt im Sommer hat das Lokal den Sommergarten geöffnet, der auch bei Regen trockene Sitzplätze hat. Aber auch im restlichen Jahr ist es im Lokal sehr schön.

Im Garten einfach gemütlich! Freundlich, deftig, lecker. Speziell im Sommer immer wieder gerne.

Wir waren schon mehrmals dort, das Essen ist lecker, und preislich OK. Einen Punktabzug gibt es allerdings für das Ambiente im Außenbereich. Der Biergarten ist in Ordnung. Aber der offene, überdachte Bereich ist richtig in die Jahre gekommen und machen einen heruntergekommenen Eindruck. Der Betonboden sieht schmuddelig aus, und die Bestuhlung ausgemustert. Zum Wohlfühlen lädt es nicht ein.

Die Location macht's, ansonsten einfaches gutes Restaurant. Kann man mal machen.

Klassische griechische Küche, wie ich sie seit den 70gern kenne. Alles schmeckt gut, könnte aber ein paar Innovationen verkraften. An warmen Tagen ist der lauschige Gastgarten mit Teilüberdachung sehr angenehm. Eigene Parplätze

Richtig leckeres Essen und tolles Personal

Ohne Reservierung an einem Freitag Abend mit 4 Personen kann problematisch sein. Hier jedoch nicht. Super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend einen Tisch bekommen obwohl das Lokal gut gefüllt war. Spezialteller und Gyros mit Metaxa Soße sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder . Apropos. Parken auf dem nahegelegenen Rewe Parkplatz problemlos

Der Vorspeisenteller und der Grillteller für 2 Personen und das Tzatziki waren sehr lecker, bis auf die Hacksteaks und das Bifteki beides viel zu sehr mit Oregano überwürzt das werden wir nicht nochmal bestellen.

Wir hatten unser Weihnachtsessen hier. Sehr leckere und gute Portionen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Hinsichtlich des Namens hätte ich nicht auf griechische Küche geschlossen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente urig. Das Fischgericht war nicht so mein Fall. Die Fleischgerichte sahen gut aus.

Dort wird eine typisch griechische Küche in urigem Ambiente serviert. Einfach leggarr :) hat unsere Empfehlung, das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich :)
