A very tasty meal. Naan bread is served with it and a kind of crispbread with various dips comes as a starter. The food is served really hot (it was still bubbling and hissing). The meat was tender and the vegetables were on point. Gladly again.

Unfortunately we were seated at a small cat table right next to another couple, even though the entire shop was almost empty. Apparently everything was reserved, but no more people came during the evening. Service overall was a bit unprofessional and could have been friendlier. But the food was good and the second service was very friendly.

We were in an empty restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. Very pleasant, because when filled it is probably a bit tight. The service was great. However, we would have felt better at a larger table. It's cozy with all the food on the table. We will be back!

Very bad exeprience with this restaurant. I have made an online order on 1st of january. I have been charged twice due to issues in their website. When we called, the restaurant, they have said that they do not deliver food on public holidays. We went to the restaurant physically. The chef has refused to review the orders and find an immediate solution. He has said that we will be reimbursed in few days. Even though we did not understand any thing, we have accepted and sit to have dinner. We have ordered "chaat papri" which is a typical indian street food with poptatoes cheakpeas and chutney. Unstead, we got a dish with bread, cheakpeas and sauce. We reported this to the waiter who said that the dish is basically with bread and not potatoes. Still not convinced, we have reported this to their chef by the end of the meal who said that they have nothing with bread in their kitchen and that we are wrong even though we were two people and we had both of us the same story. He was also yelling at us and very unfriendly.

We ordered our food by phone last night at 6:50 p.m. because the online platform was disrupted. Since it was still not there at 8:10 p.m., I called again and had the feeling that the person on the phone was busy saying goodbye to the guests who were leaving the restaurant. Then I waited for a while until another person came to the phone and from them I found out that the order hadn't left the house yet. The delivery finally arrived at 8:35 p.m. There wasn't a delivery truck in sight. We are still puzzling over how the food came to us. Unfortunately, most of the food in the bag had spilled out. We ordered two different naan breads, but only one type arrived. Since we were half starving by now, we tried to eat our order. Unfortunately, some of the naan bread was so hard and cold that you couldn't eat it and the dishes were clearly too spicy, even though we agreed otherwise on the phone. Unfortunately, some of the chicken meat was so hard that it was inedible.

Over 2 hours delivery time. This is probably a joke. When I asked about it an hour later, they said the food was on the way. I thought it would be better in the suburbs, the staff there is unfriendly. Nice thing 👍 And by the way, the wrong one was delivered in the end.

Very cozy restaurant, friendly service and delicious food

We ordered our first order from this place as a delivery and were absolutely blown away. This is the first time we had true authentic Indian food in Germany! The tandoori dishes were just spot on! Can’t wait to try more of their dishes ☺️

Very tasty food. Good service that could be more attentive from time to time (but in a full restaurant you can sometimes ignore that). We had the No. 130/131 - both very tasty and absolutely sufficient for 2 people. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food.

Food is really good & they make indian spice if asked. Very nice staff , as they forgot my nan bread but later delivered the nun with extra lassi. Milk Tea was also amazing! Very nice hospitality. Recommended !

Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr sauberes Restaurant, Speisen waren sehr gut, bekömmlich, warm und dekorativ serviert. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis optimal. Eher günstig. Getränke sind auch nicht teuer. Kann das Restaurant sehr empfehlen.

Unser indischer Restaurant in Liederbach hat leider zu gemacht. Das ist eines der zwei anderen Restaurant. Das Essen ist fast gleich. Ansonsten war alles ok.

Wir hatten uns auf leckeres indisches Essen gefreut, waren dann aber etwas enttäuscht. In der Lieferung fehlten die Papadums, die Naans waren zäh. Lamm Korma war ok, aber die Soße hatte Zuviel Sahne. Thali Chicken war nicht ganz durch.

Leckeres Essen aber die Lieferzeit von zwei Stunden ist wirklich zu lange. Zumal die angegebene Lieferzeit auch nicht eingehalten wurde und vorab auch nirgends stand, dass die Lieferzeiten so unglaublich lang ist.

Ein gemütliches Restaurant mit nicht zu hellem Licht und Kerzenschein! Mein Yogi Tee wie auch der sowohl alkoholische wie auch nicht alkoholische Cocktail mit frischer Minze und Limetten, war sehr lecker! Die Vor- und Hauptspeisen waren von nicht scharf, über pikant bis scharf, sehr lecker und Jeder hat etwas für sich gefunden. Chicken Vindolo (scharf), Mango Chicken, Chicken Madras und Korma Chicken, das war nur eine Auswahl von dem reichhaltigen Angebot. Lamm- , Fisch- und Vegetarische Gerichte gibt es auch in ausreichender Menge! Auch Desserts gibt es zu bestellen, allerdings waren wir nach Vor- und Hauptgericht so satt, da hat es nur noch für eine Mango Latte gereicht, aber die war so lecker, ich kann sie euch wirklich besten Gewissens empfehlen! ❤ Es war ein rundum gemütlicher und kurzweiliger Abend! Der Service war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich, man saß nicht lange vor einem leeren Glas! Vielen Dank an das Team, es war ein schöner Abend und wir kommen sehr bald mit Verstärkung wieder! 🥰❤🙏 Raucher: Es gibt auch einen Bereich für Raucher, im Sommer ist es die Terrasse denke ich und wenn es kalt ist, ist der Bereich mit Glasschiebetüren abgegrenzt! Wir saßen in der Nähe, aber uns hat das rein ubd raus überhaupt nicht gestört! Die Schiebetüren, wie auch die Gäste sind sehr leise und rücksichtsvoll gewesen! ♡

Sehr gute Küche und sehr freundliches Personal. Die Menge von den Hauptspeisen könnte ehrlich gesagt etwas mehr sein für die Preise. Das ist etwas wenig. Musik solltet ihr etwas leiser machen. Ansonsten Top

Das Lamm Vindaloo ist hervorragend, man kann es indisch scharf bestellen. Es gibt auch "Thali", auch sehr gut. Der Service ist sehr gut.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Es ist ein sauberer Ort, das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir werden wieder kommen. Danke.

Am Freitag Abend waren wir das erste mal auf Empfehlung bei Crown of india das Essen war eigentlich gut aber der Kellner total desinteressiert Wein haben wir nie erhalten Vorspeise war auch falsch und Besteck hatten wir auch keins mehr für die Hauptspeise mussten es vom anderen Tisch selbst holen 2 Sterne für das Essen

aufgrund div. Erkranungen ist es mir schwierig, ausserhalb zu essen und dann keine Probleme zu haben; das kleinste Problem ist dabei die Lakto-Intol. Auf Nachfrage hiess es: suchen Sie sich etwas aus, wir kochen alles frisch und können entsprechend die Produkte wechseln, also statt Kuhmilch zB Kokosmilch. Wow! Ja, es dauerte etwas bis das Essen kam, aber es war nicht nur vorzüglich, sondern ich hatte auch keinerlei Probleme mit Magen und Darm. War geil. Nervig war der wirklich volle Laden, in dem einige Eltern ihre Kinder gewähren liessen, so dass eine Unterhaltung an einem Nachbartisch in normaler Lautstärke nciht möglich war. Vlt. sollten ein paar mehr 'Schalldämpfer' wie Blumen oder Paravants genutzt werden und dafür lieber einen Tisch weniger, denn so macht es keinen Spass.

Wir haben bei The Crown of India essen bestellt. Die Lieferzeit war ok, aber die Jalfrezi war leider qualitativ nicht wie im Restaurant (geschmacklich, aber auch fürs Auge nicht ansprechend) und das Naan-Brot war wie Gummi. Hier werden wir nichts mehr bestellen.

Kaum zu glauben, aber ich hatte vorher noch nie indisch gegessen. Nun hatte ich im Crown of India Premiere. Das Essen war hervorragend, der Service super. Komme gerne wieder!

Extrem lange Wartezeiten und recht unsicher wirkende Bedienungen. Alles war irgendwie unorganisiert. Ca 1 h Wartezeit bis zur Vorspeise und weitere 40 Minuten bis zur Hauptspeise. Das Essen war dann zumindest in Ordnung.

My meal was fine. Not the best Indian food I’ve had. Samosas were underwhelming, Chicken Tika Masala was okay, it could of been a bit spicier. Beer was great

Ich bestell hier sehr gerne. Das Essen ist immer hier gut zubereitet und hat einen guten Geschmack. Sehr empfehlenswert, meiner Meinung. Leider ist das Restaurant so gut besucht das man sehr selten bis kaum einen Platz im Restaurant bekommt.

Ich war schon oft da und wurde nie enttäuscht. Super lecker und guter Preis.

Lieferung erfolgte trotz Termin-Bestätigung per Mail fast 45 Minuten zu spät. Bei telefonischer Nachfrage wurde nach mehrfacher Frage nach Name und Anschrift einfach aufgelegt. Vegetarische Vorspeise war matschig und enthielt drei Fleischkompenenten. Chili-Chicken: Soße gut und schmackhaft, Fleisch gummmiartig und ungenießbar, Chicken Tikka Masala: Fleisch grenzwertig vom Garpunkt, Soße gut. Reisportion zu groß, absolut überdimensioniert. Alles in Allem den Preis nicht wert und es wird keine Wiederholung geben

Schade! Da wir gerne in das Restaurant kommen haben wir nun zu Corona Zeiten mal den Lieferservice ausprobiert: für 20:00 war das Essen angekündigt, es kam dann 20:35. Was aber noch viel ärgerlicher war: es stand neben der Warmhaltebox (die war wohl schon voll?) und war somit nur noch lauwarm und das ist leider nicht akzeptabel. Dann bekamen wir, die wir Vegetarier/Veganer sind, auch noch den falschen Vorspeisenteller mit Huhn ... was uns aber dann zu dieser Bewertung geführt hat war die Tatsache, daß unsere beiden e-mails, in denen wir dies schilderten, einfach nicht beantwortet wurden. Kundenfreundlichkeit sieht anders aus.

War heute das erste mal hier und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht!😊 Der Kellner führte mich auf die Terasse und fragte sofort nach meinem Getränke Wunsch und gab mir die Karte! Sehr ansprechende Karte. Das Ambiente sehr gemütlich! Auf der Terasse sitzen mach Spass, besonders bei schönem wetter🌞! Hoch oben Blick über die Vorstadt von Oberursel!Service sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich! We have come to Crown of India for many meals and also for takeout. The Food is always very good and authentic

Zum ersten Mal im Crown of India. Freundlicher Service. Recht großes, ansprechend eingerichtetes Lokal. Schöne Karte. Wir hatten als Vorspeisen Frikadellen aus Lamm und Hähnchen, Chicken Tandoori und Tomatensuppe. Hauptgerichte: Chicken Tandoori, Lamm Vindaloo und Mixed Grill. Das Vindaloo wurde als nicht so scharf wie erwartet empfunden. Alle Gerichte haben überzeugt, insbesondere die Hähnchengerichte wurden ob ihrer Zartheit gelobt. Es gibt eine kleine Weinkarte, der offene Cotes du Rhone ist gut trinkbar. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Schlechter Service, Essen schmeckte wie aufgetaut, Chicken und Lamm tandoori gibt es viel besser , Zubereitung lieblos, geht gar nicht. Lokal groß und laut , Personal überfordert. Leider keine Empfehlung.

Die Qualität der Speißen und der Bedienung ist, leider, sehr, sehr tagesabhängig. Teilweise bekommt man aufgewärmtes "Zeug". Von daher (5 Besuche) sind meine Erelebnisse nicht besser als befriedigend. Es gibt in Oberursel noch einen weiteren Inder, da gehe ich lieber hin.

We have been here a few times, both with family and friends. The location is up the stairs, so not accessible to all. But the service and food is exquisite. The staff are attentive and friendly, the food made with love from fresh ingredients (apart from the popadoms which all seem to come out of the same supplier for all of Germany). The Korma is delicious, the curries made fresh (not re-heated as in some other places) the Rotis and Naan bread is always baked to perfection. A gem in Oberursel.

Tandoori esse ich gern und hier bekomme ich es. Auch finde ich es immer wieder nett, wenn ich im Sommer draussen sitzen kann.

Wir kommena regelmässig hierher, seit der Öffnung in 2017. Wir freuen uns immer über die herzliche Behandlung durch den Chef und das Personal. Das Essen war immer sehr gut und es wird auch auf Wünsche eingegangen. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung !!

My wife and I went many time to the restaurant „crown of india“, since it opened in 2017. we got to know the owner, who is very welcoming. since then we return regularly. The food variety is great and the quality and taste is wonderful. strongly recommend to come and check it out !

This is one of the best Indian restaurants we've ever been to. Located on the 1st floor, it has both a very authentic indoor hall and a nice outdoor terrace. Service is very friendly, taste is brilliant, prices are quite affordable - not cheap, but definitely worth the quality of the dining experience!

A lovely place with a kind waiter. Foods tradicionally spicy, and delicious. We are vegan so tried the vegan choices, you can choose from 4-5 different choices, all are OK. All in all its a great place to try Indian food, but not the best. I even heard a micro bell ringing, I hope that was just warming up water for tee to the staff and not our food... :S

Excellent curry in a very nice atmosphere. Service was a bit slow (not least as it was busy) but was explained away partly by the fact that everything is prepared fresh.
