Everything very tasty, friendly staff and only Greeks!

There was dirt in the salad and the meat wasn't particularly seasoned. The tzatziki didn't taste like anything.

Very tasty food, very large portion. Drinks are rather cheap, food is reasonable. Unfortunately, reordering tzatziki cost extra, but it didn't have to be. Cash only, it's Germany...

Peking is a Chinese restaurant. Greek specialties are offered downstairs.😂 We were there for the lunch menu, which was excellent. Hot, flavorful and rich. Since I'm sensitive to lots of E's in foods, I was surprised nothing happened. So recommended. We had chicken with coconut Thai sauce and vegetables and rice, baked fish with peanut sauce and rice instead of sweet and sour sauce. As a starter you can choose between soup and spring rolls. We chose the latter. Really tasty and not too greasy. 👌 The service was very nice and friendly, changes. The menu is being worked on without any discussions😊 It's cozy inside. Since it was so hot we sat outside, very comfortable and cool, sun protection was possible. 🤗 Price is great. Fish with spring roll and sauce cost 11 euros. Drinks within the framework. It's stupid that we got a parking ticket😁 We didn't buy a parking ticket because we were looking so much, we simply forgot about it. Beijing is worth it. Bon appetit 🍜

The complementary salad, Bread, aperatif served before the meal is very welcome. Just be aware to ask upfront whether they accept cards or not. We were caught unawares and somehow collated the cash to pay

I've never had such a bad meal as I did in this restaurant...We ordered salmon and shrimp. The food wasn't fresh at all, it looked like the salmon and prawns were from yesterday, so the food went bad quite quickly, as if it had just been warmed up in the microwave. It didn't taste good at all. Rice only tasted like butter, just disgusting. Plus stomach problems all evening. I just hope there's no food poisoning. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant even to my worst enemy.

The Symposium Restaurant in Lörrach offers an extraordinary experience. The service is extremely attentive and the food is simply delicious. The ambience is beautiful and atmospheric, and despite its proximity to the city center, it is surprisingly quiet. A perfect place for a relaxed meal in a pleasant atmosphere.

Wonderful food; Fast and friendly service in a great restaurant. The plates are beautifully presented and are really something to look at. Every table in the restaurant was occupied; Nevertheless, we never had to wait long for our drinks or the starter or main course. I can really recommend it, but you should reserve early enough.

Sat very comfortably on the terrace and had a delicious meal. Friendly service and value for money is right. We'll definitely be back! Of course you can also eat comfortably and finely indoors.

At first we were put off by the very high prices. But we are foodies and we love Greek cuisine! They put a lot of effort into hospitality. 10/10. The trend is increasing: the more people there are, the louder it gets inside. Would come again. Ambiance is like 5/10. A Greek flag would be nice... but salt and pepper were also missing.

Unfortunately I am very disappointed. I ordered the seafood skewer. When I asked if the potatoes could be swapped for vegetables, the answer I got was “we don’t have any vegetables.” I then simply ordered a salad with it and the waiter eagerly said that I could have grilled zucchini and eggplant. When my plate came I was disappointed! I got 4 small slices of zucchini (fried instead of grilled), the shrimp didn't look fresh at all and my food was colder than lukewarm. To my annoyance I was charged an additional 2 euros for the zucchini. Actually, I wouldn't have wanted to pay a cent for this meal (I didn't eat the shrimp to be on the safe side). Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've been disappointed with the food at the symposium, but it was definitely my last visit!

Ich hatte noch nie einen Grund, mich in Lörrach aufzuhalten, doch nun verschlug mich ein dienstlicher Termin dorthin und so stellte sich zu später Stunde die Frage, ob und wo es etwas zu essen gibt. Mehr zufällig landeten wir im griechischen Restaurant Symposium (nahe Burghof). Es war noch gut besucht, etwa die Hälfte der Tische war besetzt. Wir hatten keine allzu großen Erwartungen, aber die wurden in puncto Qualität bei weitem übertroffen. Es gab hier als Suppe nur ein ständig wechselndes Tagesangebot -- in diesem Fall etwas, was ich noch nirgends serviert bekommen habe und das nicht unbedingt mediterran anmutet: eine pfefferscharfe Karotten-Zwiebel-Suppe. Das klingt simpel, war aber sehr köstlich: wunderbar sämig, fein püriert und so gut abgeschmeckt, daß man die einzelnen Zutaten identifizieren konnte. Eine noch viel größere Überraschung war sodann mein Lamm Kokkinisto, das ja wahrhaftig nicht in jeder griechischen Gaststätte angeboten wird: eine große Portion mit einer Lammkeule, deren fast von selbst sich vom Knochen lösendes Fleisch so butterzart und fein war, daß es fast auf der Zunge zerging. Das Lamm hatte einen vorzüglichen Geschmack und auch die dazu gereichten, mit Käse überbackenen Kritharaki (Reisudeln) waren ein Genuß nebst einem zuvor gereichten gemischten Salat. Das Mousaka (Auberginenauflauf mit Hackfleisch) meiner Begleiterin wäre für meine Erwartung eine viel zu kleine Portion gewesen und war deshalb mit beinahe 19 Euro auch deutlich überteuert, aber wenigstens war auch in diesem Fall die Qualität herausragend. Daß mich der Dienstweg noch einmal nach Lörrach führt, scheint eher unwahrscheinlich; dennoch lohnt es sich, das "Symposium" im Auge zu behalten.

War ok. Hatte Salat mit Lachs. War sehr schön angerichtet, geschmacklich war ok. Die Bedienung war normal.

Das Essen ist gut, die Portionen teilweise eher klein bis dürftig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht, bei voller Auslastung leider etwas überfordert. Die Lärmkulisse ist sehr störend, etwas Schalldämmung wäre wünschenswert. Nein, Gemütlichkeit geht anders.

Die Mitarbeiter haben einen wunderschönen Geburtstag Geschenk für uns gezaubert. Das Linsensuppe war gefordert und die Ambiente auch wunderschön. Wen sie in Lörrach sind, einfach forbeischauen.

Griechisches Restaurant, gute, Auswahl auf der Speisekarte, das Essen ist gut und reichlich, auch der Service ist freundlich. Das Lokal, hat eine gute Größe und ist gut besucht, es empfiehlt sich zu reservieren. Nachteil, wenn es voll ist, dann doch ziemlich laut.

Ein herausragendes Griechisches Restaurant im Herzen von Lörrach.

Wir waren gestern zum zweiten Mal in einer kleinen Gruppe hier und hatten verschiedene Essen. Das Essen hat jedem von uns hervorrarend geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war auch sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und sehr schnell. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden.

Waren gestern Abend spontan zum Essen im Restaurant Symposium. Wurden am Eingang begrüßt und bekamen einen Platz für 2 Personen zugewiesen. Am Platz erhielten wir sofort die Speisekarte und konnten gleich die Getränkebestellung aufgeben. Mit den Getränken kam ein Ouzo auf das Haus. Die Essenbestellung wurde aufgegeben und kurz darauf kam die Vorspeise und der Beilagensalat. Danach kam dann die sehr leckere Hauptspeise. Zum Abschluss bekamen wir nochmal einen Ouzo aufs Haus. Ein sehr schöner Abend mit gutem Essen und sehr freundlichem Personal.

Wir waren hier zum Mittagstisch und haben draußen gesessen. Der Service war wirklich gut und fix. Die bestellten Gerichte haben sehr gut geschmeckt, die Portionsgröße war übersichtlich. Für Lörrach aber preislich völlig OK.

Das Personal ist freundlich aber das Essen ist nicht empfehlenswert.

Ein guter grieche wo mann für normals Geld tolle Gerichte bekommt. Hatt auch ein ausensitzplatz neber einer strasse wo der buss ab und an durch fährt. Sonst okey. Nur der Sohn oder so hat ein wenig gestört mit seinem E scooter wo immer durch die sitzreinen zum eingang gesaust ist und wieder weg. Hoffe da reagiert der Eigentümer.

Habe in meinem Leben noch nie so gute Bruschetta gegessen! Meine Empfehlung! Der Rest hat auch super geschmeckt.

Wir waren nun gestern seit längerer Zeit mal wieder hier. Das Essen ist wirklich lecker und auch ausreichend. Der Service hingegen hat definitiv Luft nach oben. Wir kamen und teilweise so vor, als würden wir das Personal "stören", weil wir lieber drinnen sitzen wollten. Sehr schade, seit hier der Pächter gewechselt hat, hat die Freundlichkeit nachgelassen.

Leckeres Essen, doch schalltechnisch ein Desaster. Wenn der Laden voll wird und der Alkoholpegel der Gäste steigt, kannste dein Gegenüber kaum verstehen. Da gibt es einfache Massnahmen...kein großer Umbau erforderlich. Mal beraten lassen. Schade das.

Gemütliches Restaurant für einen erholsamen Abend in Gruppen, als Paar oder als Familie. Die Speisen sind einfach und man bekommt genug. Man merkt den liebevollen Umgang der Griechen mit den Gästen. A good ambience with Greek music playing quietly. Excellent choice on the menus, we had a selection to start with of octopus, pitta bread, halloumi and dolmades; my main course was lamb stifado baked in a cheese sauce - delicious! Dessert was Greek yoghurt with honey.

There are a lot better places if you like to eat tastier. I would recommend places In Schopfheim if you are searching Greece restaurants.

Loerrach is a strange place and not a town that is worth a special visit (although the shops are quite good). I found this restaurant by pure chance and am very pleased that I did! It was lunch time and very hot - most of the tables outside were taken - but plenty of room inside (and cool!). Sensational service and very friendly. An extensive menu and the food is excellent with good portions (I enjoyed the lamb filet). Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended - I will return.

The service is great. The waiters serve Ouzo to the table in true Greek style! The menu selection is vast and they have English menus as well. The food was of a very high standard and the Greek traditional dishes of Mousakka and Pastitsio are huge portions! We will be back next time we visit Lorrach.

We dropped in at about 5.45pm to order just a main course and this wasn't a problem at all. The food was tasty, with a green salad served as a starter, which was included in the price. A glass of Ouzo was presented before the food, which wa a nice touch. A very friendly establishment and although at the edge of a road, was quiet.

It was a very warm day in Lorrach and the moving choral festival was in full swing with a cappella chorales of all age groups in full swing through the central square nearby the open market with fresh fruits and vegetables from various local farms. After shopping and listening for a while it was time for lunch. Many outdoor seating establishments abount but our daughter chose Symposium. Symposium is best described as Greek Fusion. Basic gyros done in an assortment of styles. Cheese fondue (very rich), gyro meat in a type of goulash and small potatoes, and a shishkabob with pork, a meat patty and calamari rings. Very large dishes for lunch outside at nearly 90F. Inexpensive wines and beers. Service was decent.

They serve nice fresh salad per dish and also give out rice-like pasta with potatoes as a complimentary dish. The main dish was absolutely fabulous. The Mount of meat on the plate was stunning. The beer that I have tasted was one of the best in Germany. Keep in mind that I like really like light beer. So maybe my taste buds are not that much accurate. But for those who can I drink well this place has one of my favourite beers. Absolutely fabulous restaurant.

The restaurant is located in Lörrach, at the beginning of the city center coming from Basel. Typical meat greek dishes, which are the recommended ones. The greek salad is far from the one you can have in Greece, so it is not recommended. Obviously, it tries to compromise with the German cuisine taste (e.g salad as starter), but overall good and recommended. Prices a bit high but in line with pther restaurant close to the Swiss border.
