SC Haagen clubhouse. Simple and good.

First of all, the service was friendly and tried very hard. We were here because we heard a lot of good things and were planning to have a family celebration here next year. During a preliminary conversation we were told that there would always be skewers on the grill on Friday/Saturday/Sunday. At least this was not the case today. The drinks - Spezi and Fanta were stale, 0 carbon dioxide. The Greek salad was ok, but I make it better at home. Baked feta was tasty but not exceptional. The starter plate is one of the best. The meat on the skewer was probably from last week - and definitely just warmed up, and bad at that. It was cold at times. The lamb and the small skewers of meat were extremely dry. Here the bifteki was actually the best and probably the only freshly fried one on this plate. The fries had the flavor of the fried eggplant and zucchini. All in all it was really underground. We haven't eaten so badly in many years.

The restaurant has been around for a few years now and we live less than 10 minutes away on foot. There are specialties from the open charcoal grill, a beautiful terrace with an adjacent playground belonging to the restaurant. Plus warm hosts. So different from the classic Greek restaurant, but somehow more authentic. Prices are completely reasonable, the quality of the food is really very good. The ambience outside is very nice, inside a bit bare and cool. It's actually a sports restaurant. As a result, we actually only go here in the summer. Arrival by public transport: BUS 16 to Haagen sports field (150 m walk) or S5/S6 to Lörrach-Haagen/Messe (10 min walk). Park: Very close (20 to 50 m) to the Haagen sports field, access only from the north via Hauinger Straße (access near the bus stop, is also signposted). Arrival by bike: directly on the Wiese cycle path at the Haagener Weir.

Unfortunately, I can't relate to the previous responses. The waitress was very nice, but the waiter brought us food that he didn't know what it was. When asked, NO IDEA! That was the word of the day! The meat from the grill, yes ok it came from the grill, but it was kept warm and certainly not freshly grilled. Price OK, but performance unfortunately unsatisfactory.

It is absolutely Greek... For us who live abroad and miss the authentic Greek flavors and the Greek atmosphere, this is the right destination...Grill Drill !!!!

More of a sports venue with a look and feel but run by very nice German/Greek staff and the food was very good. Of course, it can be a little louder if there is a group of 10 people sitting at the next table, but of course you have to accept that beforehand in such a situation. We'll definitely be happy to come by more often.

The closest thing I have seen to traditional (Greek) grilled meat in Central Europe. Would definitely recommend it!

Am besten viel viel viel Zeit mitbringen. Wir haben 1 1/2 Stunden auf unser Essen gewartet. Die Gäste neben uns sind sogar aufgestanden und gegangen. Das Essen ist wirklich zu empfehlen

Superb quality ingredients with an authentic greek taste. The meat is juicy yet perfectly cooked. If you are lucky, Giannis will treat you with his family-made tsipouro from Epirus. Definitely the best greek restaurant in the region.

Absolut authentische griechische Küche, einfach lecker! Kein Schicki Micki, keine pseudo Plastiksäulen oder Sirtaki Musik... Dafür einfach gemütlich und gastfreundlich. Nette Leute obendrein!

Das Restaurant hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Essen gut, Service sehr freundlich und vor allem ist es einfach perfekt für Eltern mit Kindern! Es gibt einen Spielplatz mit großem Trampolin, verschiedenen Klettermöglichkeiten, Sandkasten und vielen Schaukeln. Die sanitären Anlagen bieten auch wirklich alles was man für Babys und Kleinkinder benötigt. Wickelkommode, verkleinernde Klobrille und Tritt am Waschbecken. Ein dickes Lob dafür!

Tolles griechisches Restaurant. Karte überschaubar, finde ich persönlich aber angenehm! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich auch ggü Kindern. Es gibt einen sehr großen umzäunten Spielplatz. Ambiente ist schön, logischerweise Typ Sportgaststätte. Es gibt einen Holzkohle Grill mit Schaukasten. Das Grießpudding Dessert schmeckt hervorragend! Wir kommen immer gerne her und empfehlen es auch ganz besonders an Leute mit kleineren Kindern.

The food is lovely here. The owner was very polite and made us feel welcomed. There was also a playground for the little ones. I loved their turokafterh and beer. Will definitely visit again.

Toller terrasse mit Spielplatz. Essen super. Preise ok. Leider kein Cappuccino oder latte macchiatto. Würde sich echt lohnen.

Αυθεντικές Ελληνικές γεύσεις σε ψητά της σούβλας, κρεατικά σχάρας και ποικιλίες για τσίπουρο, ούζο και μπύρα. Το αρνί και τα κοντοσούβλια δε λείπουνε ποτέ από το μενού και είναι πάντα καλοψημένα και λαχταριστά. Ο εσωτερικός χώρος είναι ζεστός και ο εξωτερικός κήπος ιδανικός για το καλοκαίρι. Προτείνεται ανεπιφύλακτα στους λάτρεις του καλού φαγητού!!

Leider war das Essen lauwarm als es serviert wurde. Da ich eingeladen war habe ich auch nicht reklamiert.
